A movie touted as based on a true story that deliberately left out 75% of the story..
The 75% part that made the USA look bad.

The thing you attempt to ignore is that in all of this two major things are happening.
The lesser of the two is that uprisings by dictators who would destroy many people, including Canada and the USA, are put down before they get a reasonable amount of strength.
The greater is that the world is being opened up for the last great spreading of Christianity before Jesus returns.
