2861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Synthetic trading on: October 08, 2022, 11:19:25 AM
Many traders do not trade derivatives due to the limitations of identity verification or the limits of risk to these methods of trading, so at least you will not hear much discussion of such trading.
about people who are talking about it, you can use search bottom and will find a few topics about it.
2862  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Transfers from Binance to eToro on: October 08, 2022, 10:57:45 AM
Dear all. I just want to know if crypto currencies can be transferred from Binance to eToro? If yes, what is the procudure. Could someone please guide?
There is nothing special about withdrawing / transferring your cryptos between Binance to eToro and any other platform.

The only caveat is that avoid withdrawing directly between exchanges (withdraw to your wallet and then send from your wallet to the platform) It is true that you will pay more fees, it will give you more options if there are any problems.
In addition to reading the terms of use and compliance with identity verification and making sure that your country is allowed to trade.
2863  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Smart Chain Halted Due To Potential Hack on: October 07, 2022, 09:40:37 AM
Updated:
So Bitcoin is the only blockchain that have more than 99.99% up time?!
I imagine that many will be happy because their money was returned to them without looking for the reason for this "Potential Hack" or the steps that have been taken to ensure that it does not happen in the future.

So far, I am surprised that the price has not reacted to the news.
2864  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A lesson I learnt the hardest way ( rigorously for newbies ) on: October 07, 2022, 09:34:01 AM
It's the first time I've seen someone link romantic feelings, first love and investing in cryptocurrency.
The point you are trying to make in the topic may have been missed, but in general, "Blind attachment to anything makes you lose that thing."

Blind attachment to first love, a childhood game, the first phone, the first school, etc. The same thing extends to investment, do not defend impulsively for a currency just because you bought it, but always Do Your Own Research.
2865  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not use your phone number for crypto registration and other crypto related th on: October 07, 2022, 08:06:44 AM
Is there any crypto platform that forces users to oblige to add their phone numbers? Most of the platforms I used give the phone number option as an additional option to enhance privacy, but they do not force the user to add it.

If you must use phone numbers than you can try using temporary voip numbers or buy prepaid cards without connection with your real identity.
I do not recommend such services, as most of them resell the numbers every X months to a year.
and Renting a real number costs about $2-5 per month.
2866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: This move saved millions of dollars but there is a catch on: October 07, 2022, 08:04:37 AM
A Huge respect for CZ of Binance exchange, I never knew that a blockchain project can be frozen that fast to stop the hackers who tried to steal 2M BNB worth 570M, by the way isn't that centralised and more vulnerable to government bans?
It depends on the way the blockchain works. For example, in Bitcoin, the longer chain can make new decisions such as creating new coins, modifying the sizes of blocks and other things, but for this to happen, you need to control the longer chain, which is something that you will not get easily due to the centralized distribution of the hashrate[1].

In Binance Smart Chain they relies on 21 validators with Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA) which mean that those 21 validators who can suspend the network, delete coins, add new one, and more.

Note that most or all of these 21 are directly or indirectly managed by Binance.

2867  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Smart Chain Halted Due To Potential Hack on: October 07, 2022, 07:22:25 AM
What amazes me is that this news does not affect the price.
The price hasn't gone down much, although news like this says two things:

 - BSC is flawed and its flaws could be exploited further if undetected.
 - BSC is centralized and Binance can request all validators to temporarily suspend BSC.

However, you will find that more people trust them for nothing but lower fees.
2868  Economy / Services / Re: School of HardKnocks - Homework Service on: October 07, 2022, 07:02:28 AM
Suppose you will accept payments in Bitcoin, otherwise you will have to move your topic to Marketplace (Altcoins)

In general, how will the person ensure that the solutions come from more qualified teachers and that they are correct solutions, in addition to helping him to solve the problem himself, or are they ready-made solutions and he will print them?

2869  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Did Binance Just Make KYC Process More Private? on: October 07, 2022, 06:53:05 AM
they will keep the information from KYC, that's for sure and they can justify it with good reasons. For example, if a specific country introduces a crypto ban, where they have to comply with that decision, how will they know which user comes from that country? An IP address cannot be 100% reliable info, and they certainly won't ask all users to re-KYC (to be deleted after all) after every similar change.
This is not the problem, but the problem is what you will do with the data after verifying it. For example, the passport contains data in addition to your name and country where it contains your real age, place of birth, your passport number, your fingerprint and other data, if it is not destroyed, they get more information Just your name, country, and IP address.

I still don't understand how NFTs could make things better.
2870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Reportedly Freezes Do Kwon's Crypto Worth $40M — Luna Founder Says t on: October 06, 2022, 10:48:16 AM
It seems that this issue will interact for a long time, just as happened with MTGOX's hack.

The strange aspect is the attempt to transfer this money and at this time, the lawsuits are still under investigation and therefore it is stupid to move such money or try to sell it without anything being noticed.
In general, I do not follow all the details of the case, but I think that Do Kwon is a liar after all that happened and the chaos he left in the market.
2871  Economy / Economics / Re: We should separate the markets for Bitcoin* and centralized altcoins on: October 06, 2022, 10:01:32 AM
Mostly these ratings are a rating to bring more views and thus provide investment alternatives for investors who will find more ratings and thus the possibility of investing in more currencies.

If we want to divide cryptocurrencies, we will find that they are very similar, and therefore all of these classifications have no meaning.
2872  Economy / Economics / Re: The whole tipping culture in western countries is unfair and totally wrong! on: October 06, 2022, 09:51:17 AM
In my country, this culture is not widespread as many restaurants give a fixed tariff in the bill and all you have to do is pay that bill, even giving a tip to the waitress is considered a strange thing or an attempt by the person to woo her.

The same thing is related to the delivery worker, as the delivery company takes a percentage and you are the one who pays the money of the delivery worker, not the company, as there is a fixed amount for each kilometre.

2873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's Price be affected by this? on: October 06, 2022, 09:04:40 AM
What is the effect that occurred in the past to believe that such news will affect the price in the future?

The market is now in a bad situation and therefore needs real and direct news to make a change and not indirect news, as both Elon Musk or Twitter did not explicitly announce that they might invest and that Bitcoin is one of their future plans.

This is if we assume that the news is correct and that the deal will pass without any unexpected obstacles.
2874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let’s keep our eyes on scammers logics on: October 06, 2022, 09:00:53 AM

4, fake bitcoin recovery service; their are some people claiming to be bitcoin recovery service, they always claim they can recover your lost bitcoin for you which some of them will request for your private key or your private details which at the end they will endup stealing from you and won’t help you recover any bitcoin, we have to be very careful because mostly newbies are the once that fall victim of all those scam pattern, if your bitcoin have been stolen, Don’t believe any crypto recovery service.

I can understand if the trick is to get a hard fork but there is no recovery service it's either you have the bitcoin or you don't so if you give someone your private key you give them the same degree of access that you have.

The only logical thing is that you have part of the seed (nine out of 12 words) and therefore you need some help to get access to your coins or you forgot part of your password.

The rest of scam methods are easy to detect if you educate yourself, but in the end everything depends on your knowledge, so do not stop searching and asking questions.
2875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give me a minute of your time on: October 06, 2022, 08:41:14 AM
Your advice would be wiser if you would advise people to stay away from investing heavily in stablecoins.
Investing in stablecoins will have a negative impact if a big problem occurs in the market, just as happened to Luna, as the collapse of the Bitcoin price led to a lot of chaos in this market.
The same goes for centralized platforms that actually own your money.
2876  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dusting on: October 06, 2022, 08:33:09 AM
This is the worst advice you can give to anyone, as such attacks do not target exchange addresses because it is easy to identify them, but the addresses of individuals and therefore the probability of being executed on platforms addresses is much less than the possibility of implementing them on wallet addresses.

The best way is to use a well-programmed wallet that supports coin control feature.
2877  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: October 06, 2022, 08:06:48 AM
The question is how much money are you willing to spend, almost some of us divide the money into several parts, money for investment, money for daily use and money for short-term investment.

Thus, in most cases, we will not spend investment money on daily needs and the same for short-term investment, but we can use daily use money (altcoins or the lightning network) to purchase some goods and services if they accept Bitcoin payment.

when the market is down money for daily use will be as less as possible (like less than 5% of our total crypto)
2878  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 05, 2022, 01:04:23 PM
You can write a long list of things that make adults poor, but it is difficult to narrow this list to how to change poverty behaviors into productive behaviors, especially since many countries of the world suffer from inflation, narrow job opportunities and difficulty in finding job satisfaction due to the lack of competition.

Therefore, knowing why you are poor is not a problem as much as changing the habits of poor to rich.
2879  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can I know That How much earnings Can be generated Through Signature? on: October 05, 2022, 12:28:13 PM
The answer to this question depends on where each of us lives and how much the average cost of living for each country with the average being paid for signature campaigns, but in short, it's mostly just a bonus rather than a full time job.

Also, for you and some to reach a certain rank, you need to compete among the rest of the members, which was very easy in the past, but it has become more difficult in the last two years.

In short, don't think of it as a stable source of income or a quick way to get rich.
2880  Economy / Exchanges / Re: User Experience - Local P2P VS Exchange in-app P2P service. on: October 05, 2022, 12:18:56 PM
Mostly, everyone who uses these platforms is looking for three things, availability of people to transact with, security, and low fees. If these three things are available, the experience will be good regardless of the rest of the things, and the most important factor in these three things is the availability of people to trade with them.

Therefore, your rating (Local P2P VS Exchange in-app P2P) will not be of good if there are not enough buy and sell orders.
