2861  Economy / Exchanges / Re: P2pb2b help please on: April 24, 2021, 08:50:29 PM
If you manage to withdraw your assets, It should also be the last time you use p2pb2b. The exchange has been a proven scam where people have lost lots of money. Just search in the scam accusations board. You will see lots of complaints.

They have also been accused of faking trading volume.
2862  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by Mercatox.com -11.63 ETH[Solved] on: April 24, 2021, 07:59:12 PM
I'm waiting for my DopeCoin for more than 24h already. Wondering how long will it take to receive my funds?
Try to engage with their support like OP and a few other members who complained in this thread did. The good news is that all over them had their issues sorted out and they were able to withdraw their money.
2863  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitwats Miner on: April 24, 2021, 07:44:47 PM
And no doubt there will be some folks that fall for it.
Some have already fallen for the scam as seen by a number of complaints in reddit. I really don't know someone can just send money to random service without even carrying out a simple google search or asking a few questions in the Bitcoin mining communities if they are not sure.

2864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees are so high right now. What's next? on: April 23, 2021, 09:58:49 PM
I'm starting to wonder, what's next in stake for Bitcoin? Will fees continue to soar all the way to the moon? Or will they settle at some point?
I am very confident that the fees will drop once again in the near future. In fact early this month, just before the recent spike in the fee rate. The optimal fee for confirmation in the next block went to as low as 5 sats per byte. The fees I paid for the transactions were even much lower than Ether's
2865  Other / Meta / Re: Account Stolen or hacked and No Help to regain it back on: April 23, 2021, 09:13:07 PM
last week i saw a similar situation on a guy on the site that was complaining about the account being stolen

it this a common practice has this ever happened to you

did you manage to regain your ID.
My account got hacked some years back too but when I followed the instructions in the link shared by @Upgrade00. The team will help you recover the account with 1-2 weeks
Here are the steps I took to recover my account, I hope they are helpful - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5099552

Just don't Theymos any PM asking for account recover. You won't get any response.
2866  Economy / Reputation / Re: [WARNING] TimeTeller is just spreading FUD regarding Safe Heaven Finance on: April 22, 2021, 08:28:31 PM
Where is the FUD in Timeteller's post?

The scam accusation was legit. You have fake team profiles on your website by steal photos of other people. That alone should be a red flag pointing to a potential scam.
In fact, I am even surprised you haven't got any negative feedback or flag on your profile yet for promoting a project that has a fake team.
2867  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Nummix - Anonymous Wallet with API on: April 22, 2021, 09:25:29 AM
Well you haven't addressed the issue of backing up the wallet or addresses in case your site goes offline. What would the users do in case such an event happened?

I wouldn't want to be like the victims of the Rahakott wallet closure. People weren't able to retrieve their funds when they shut down their business because the "mnemonic phrases" weren't actually working in any other known wallet.
2868  Economy / Exchanges / Re: question about Flexible Savings 5.97% (USDT) on: April 22, 2021, 08:51:42 AM
5.97% APY is so low though. I wouldn't risk money for just cents. When you have got to risk, make sure there is a good reasonable reward.

Just think it through in this perspective.
You invested 600 USD into something and all you get is just 5.97% ($35.82) after a full year  Roll Eyes

I would rather just buy a Bitcoin dip on spot market with the 600 USDT and wait for bitcoin to pump. A 5.97% price increase is quite easy to achieve with Bitcoin within hours or days.
2869  Other / Meta / Re: Why no Admin do something against this fucking bots? on: April 20, 2021, 09:26:46 PM
Its a pain that this forum do nothing against this shit!!!!!!!!!
Have you reported any of the phishing posts to the mods and they did nothing?

Quote
Make rules that new person canīt post links,
Not all people create accounts here to post phishing links. Some people create accounts to ask for help or report scam with the help of links. How are they supposed to do so if you restrict newbie accounts from posting links?  Roll Eyes

delete old not used accounts,
Really? So I leave the forum for one year for personal reasons only to come back, and my account is no more?

2870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is gleepin.com a scam site? on: April 18, 2021, 09:57:35 PM
It's a type of scam that aimed at trapping greedy people like you. Once you send the money "needed to make a withdrawal" of them money you won or received in your account. That's the last time you will hear from them. No one is just going to handout free money like that.
2871  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why falling prices happened? on: April 18, 2021, 09:13:42 PM
In any healthy market, price corrections are normal. I wouldn't be worried about anything because it's the reality in markets. If more people are selling than those buying, then the market price of the asset is most likely to drop. If more people are buying than those selling, then the market price of the asset is most likely to increase.
2872  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Transfers from Binance to eToro on: April 18, 2021, 08:51:24 PM
The transfers are possible. I would suggest you first learn more about the 2 platforms before you send your money to avoid getting your funds locked up or lost in eToro

You can also familiarize yourself with their terms and conditions

2873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance levered down tokens risk on: April 18, 2021, 09:16:00 AM
Binance Leveraged Token positions just like FTX Leveraged Token positions are supposed to be kept open for a longtime or in a sideways market. Your account will still get towards zero which is pretty much the same as liquidation

Leveraged tokens are only good if traded on a short term downward or upward trending market like today's market dump.
Get yourself acquainted with leveraged tokens first before trading in them or you might end up getting disappointed - https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/a-beginners-guide-to-binance-leveraged-tokens-blvt

2874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OH YEAH FRUSTATED TRADERS. on: April 18, 2021, 07:45:35 AM
History has it that the best time to buy is usually when most people are panic selling and terrified about a market crash. Unfortunately very few people catch this kind of opportunity and end up buying Highs and all-time highs.

I am very sure once this market turns to a bear market, we are going to have lots of traders lose money and remain cursing. I saw in late 2017 and 2018, and I will live to tell the story.
2875  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Vareole is a scammer on: April 17, 2021, 10:11:30 PM
Hopefully more users will report the channel. It seems this channel is the hub for him.
Reported him too.

I also wrote to the Antiscam support (@notoscam). You can locate the account by searching "notoscam" and write to them. Hopefully it yields positive results.

2876  Other / Archival / Re: Bitstamp has been freezed deposits, withdrawals and trading operations on: April 17, 2021, 09:50:48 PM
Wow, that's really messed up  Shocked
If I even find it very hard to verified simple KYC procedures rolled out by other exchanges such as just uploading national ID, date of birth and name then Bitstamp's requirements would be over the top for me.

I have seen this kind of KYC verifications with Localbitcoins. Never used it since then.
2877  Other / Meta / Re: Get Notified when quoted - on forum feature on: April 16, 2021, 09:58:24 PM
Yea there are a bunch of telegram bots for this but why forum itself cannot have this feature?
Perhaps this forum software is too old to support such features?

I am still a little comfortable with the telegram bots. The suggested feature would definitely make me forget or skip important PMs thinking they are just notifications  Cheesy
Another advantage about the bots is that the updates are real time unlike the forum where you first have to refresh in order to see a new message notification.
2878  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trading spot at Binance does accumulate pennies in several wallets on: April 16, 2021, 09:06:51 PM
Another option is to sell everything you own using the market order but it is burn money option  Grin
No need to think about trading fee differences if you are not on VIP 1 and above. The taker and maker fee is the same for VIP 0 chaps (   0.1000% / 0.1000% or 0.0750% / 0.0750% if using BNB's 25% discount)  Cheesy

2879  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to identify coins with high amplitude candles in Binance? on: April 16, 2021, 08:50:10 PM
There are so many factors at play here such as the price of the coin and the volume.

You may end up seeing that shitcoins with volume or liquidity in the order book are easy to pump even with low volume order leading to high candle amplitude while coins with high liquidity in the order books are not easy to move

Coins with low prices (in cents) are also easy to swing

Top 24-hour performers and losers can give you clues on such types of coins. Check out coinmarketcap and binance rankings.
2880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best platform to store cryptocurrencies & altcoins in for passive income? on: April 15, 2021, 09:35:57 PM
Why would anyone risk their assets by locking them up with custodial services, yet there are several noncustodial and hardware wallet that also support staking.

What if you lock your $1M USDT on blockfi and tomorrow the site is gone? How are you going to recover that money?
What's the point of even staking USDT for only 9.3% APR, yet I can make more than that if I just bought BTC or ETH dips and sold off at price highs in this bull run?
