2861  Other / Archival / Re: Report history page not working on: February 20, 2022, 02:59:28 PM
Create a new account: ReporterRatimov. You'll start from 0 again.

I do all the activities on the forum through one account, so the creation of alts is not a priority.

Didn't suchmoon have a script to make reporting faster? I think actmyname has some tools too that can make this easier.

I don't trust any scripts, only manual reporting. I have long developed a clear system for sending reports, which is convenient for me personally.

Since I often keep statistics of my activity, I roughly calculated that now in my report history (from January 21 to February 20) there are ~28 330 lines. Therefore, it is not surprising that everything broke down, I overdid it a little. Cheesy
Another AI found on this forum. Shocked

How is it even possible for a human to report such huge numbers manually and after reviewing it, and I want to remind the staffs you have a lot of work to do when everything clears for Ratimov.

Also you can consider Loycev's idea about creating secondary work so there won't be any pending works and keep the forum clean.
2862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the difference between Bitcoin and Gold? on: February 20, 2022, 01:42:47 PM
Damn gold was created frw million years ago while bitcoin was just 13 years ago which point you forgot to mention. Tongue

There is actually mo relation for bitcoin and Gold but still I don't understand why we arr comparing both of them all the time?
2863  Economy / Economics / Re: Nice job Justin! on: February 19, 2022, 04:33:08 PM
Because its their money they just gave us the promise but there is a fact" Promises are made to be broken", maybe this is the beginning for Canadians and understand why decentralized currency is better than paper bills issued by government and also government is helping the cryptocurrency adoption in the hardway.
2864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have just built a coin that sends 1% of every transactio... pls readmore on: February 19, 2022, 03:37:47 PM
I have built a coin that can be a long term store of value, it sends 1% to a deflation contract and 1% to a dividends wallet. The deflation fee causes the supply of RAKET in circulation to decrease, which makes it a scarce asset. The dividends are somehing quite cool that you may wanna check out on our website https://raketcoin.io
But do you have any idea to create demand for your token? Then only we can talk about the deflationary and dividend or good for long term storage.

By the way do you think this is the first ever deflationary token if now why people have to choose yours over the existing coins.
2865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are there so many coins and the reason why some developers failed on: February 19, 2022, 02:54:28 PM
Most projects were launched based on premined which is not far different from the current fiat system and also they set the prices for presale based on nothing so why should an investor trust an anonymous person over government if it doesn't have any weight over the regulated bills.
2866  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin closing balance on exchanges on: February 19, 2022, 02:16:30 PM

It seems people forget about wallet towards the end of the year. Wink

When the market is being bullish its common that most people move their coins to exchanges and wait for the right time to cash out and probably that is the reason why price dumped since the beginning of this year.
This may not be far from the truth as there tend to be more Bitcoin movement toward the end of the year most especially the transfer of Bitcoin from private wallet to exchange for easy transaction as the end of the year get near, when most holders believe at the beginning of a new year price tend to crash which is why they cash out they gains at the end of the year.
Or they are just doing it as precaution to go for sell if they see any big drop on pricing but as of now again price dumped to 40K so highly unpredictable and st the verge of slipping into bearish in my opinion.
2867  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Number of Post in a Day and a Week. on: February 18, 2022, 02:51:15 PM
What is the total number of Post in a day and a week? Because because there was a day I discovered myself that I could not post any thread in this forum for about some minutes. That is why I want to know the total number of Post, so I can maintain my thread number.

Coold down period between two post is already mentioned in the above replies but I want to remind you something even logging in will count towards it so if you keep logging in and out in between that 360 seconds you can't post anything so wait for few minutes before submitting it. But usually it will take atleast few minutes to write something which contribute to the discussion so it won't count towards spam but there are few exceptions.
2868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US president to issue order next week on: February 18, 2022, 01:57:46 PM
The President of the United States is expected to issue an Executive Order on Cryptocurrency Regulation next week. What may we expect as a result of this?
Its not really going to affect the market, probably some tweeks and nothing else so the price may either bump or dump after that but it will regain its original resistance level sooner or later.

Shitcoin holders be ready to sell your coins on time because they have less chance of recovering if the trend goes in negative direction.
2869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Application of the NFT token on: February 18, 2022, 12:15:10 PM
You need to move that token to sn NFT marketplace and place your order so if someone thinks that its worth buying for the price then you will get the offer or else it will stay there until someone wants to buy. Don't forget that you need BNB to use gas fee for moving your token.
2870  Other / Meta / Re: Respect (or the lack of it) on: February 18, 2022, 11:48:16 AM
Check out the thread where you posted it says some format and if it is not followed then it will be reported to mods so its kind of local rule and also allowed if I am not wrong so probably that is the reason for the deletion.
2871  Other / Meta / Re: Undo Button on: February 17, 2022, 05:08:39 PM

That's not about accidentally closing a tab and restoring the post through drafts or any third party editor. To make it more clear, let me give an example. Suppose i posted in a thread two days ago, now today while scrolling my past posts, i accidentally delete that post. Now there is no option that post can be un-delete and restored at the original location.

We do have an warning message before deleting the post if I am not wrong which is enough and that is what followed even on the most updated platforms as well so if we need that undo feature then admin may add but definitely it will not be in his priority list of to do list.
2872  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Regulation: How the cryptocurrency world is interacting with traditional on: February 17, 2022, 04:09:41 PM
While markets are busy with the O word and its temporary impact on world economies, I’d like to take a step back and see how the cryptocurrency world is interacting with traditional finance.

https://redot.com/blog/crypto-regulation-how-the-cryptocurrency-world-is-interacting-with-traditional-finance/
It gets better than traditional everyday even better than gold when it comes to trust level day by day. Take a look at the stock market which crashed due to the Russia and Ukraine along with Nato Issue but Bitcoin didn't react at all it is in green.

Also more governments started to accept cryptocurrencies atleast as digital asset to generate tax revenue because they started to realise from now its impossible to eliminate them.
2873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Totally newbie bitcoin user question on: February 17, 2022, 03:25:00 PM
I never said it wasn’t wrong. I just asked if anybody would be willing to kind of test it out with me. I apologize for offending anybody in return. How do you use the Blockchain? The TX ID? It sounds like to use the Blockchain you need to know a lot about coding and things like that, which I don’t. :-)  Is the Blockchain user friendly enough?
You didn’t offend me at all. No it’s not a scam, however I understand your skepticism. I just want to test it out and see how it works before I end up spending my actual money to get some. Also, I’ve heard that it’s not good to store bitcoin for several days at a time. And actually if somebody were to send me some, I’m not sure how I would get that back to them. Is there a refund option or something?
To test you want real money of someone else's instead of yours, which isn't wrong?

You can store Bitcoin for years if you control the private keys of your wallet so it totally depends on the wallet you're choosing and if you are going to use custodial wallet then don't keep too much for long time.

You can refund the Bitcoins to the address from where you received which can be found using the TXid on any blockchain explorer.
You just need to know cut / copy / paste to know about your transaction status using blockchain explorers. You get the TXid from your wallet under the transaction history which is something random alpha numbers but longer than Bitcoin address.
2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why people keep "investing" money in shit/memecoins? Genuine question. on: February 17, 2022, 04:00:26 AM
Probably their marketing strategy, people will fall for the words than actual product so they don't care about the utility what they are doing is just seeing someone investing on the project followed by more and more along with the name everywhere so they are also get into that trap.

2876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India's confusing crypto bill on: February 16, 2022, 04:30:39 PM
Recently India has passed a crypto bill to tax crypto income by 30% but at the same time claiming that taxing cryptos doesn't make them legal and states it's country's sovereign right to tax crypto and this atrocity doesn't stop here as they have mentioned that the decision about banning crypto or legalizing it will taken after further consultation.

Can they tax something which is not legal? How can a country tax something which is not legal? Moreover they still have plans of banning crypto since they are not clear about their stands on legalization. Not sure if it's an attempt to unofficially break the crypto market in India or what's going on.

Share your thoughts on this.

Yes they can charge taxes even though they are yet to declare the legal status of an asset.

But AFAIK, they mentioned that they didn't recognise cryptocurrencies as legal tender which doesn't mean it's not legal there but they are about to launch their own CBDC and probably after that they can declare the legality status of Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies.
2877  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Totally newbie bitcoin user question on: February 16, 2022, 03:51:05 PM
I think I found a good solution… i’ll just use the bitcoin app, it’s accessible in the fact that I can send or receive with the wallet, and I can buy any certain amount of bitcoin that I need to do, even down to probably the eighth decimal point. Now all I need to do is have somebody send me some bitcoin to test it out. I’m kind of broke right now so I can’t buy any. Any takers? :-) Thanks for the help everybody!
Is this a new trick to get some bitcoin?

Sorry if you are actually asking to test it out but no legitimate user who wants to buy Bitcoin won't be asking to send some bitcoin for testing. You found the app right? Then there is no hurry just try it when you actually buy Bitcoin and let us know.

BTW, I didn't mean it to hurt you personally. Smiley
2878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: February 16, 2022, 04:05:41 AM
Yeah, they've made also that and it could be bigger because of them. But the actual thing with metaverse as related to the crypto market. It's really going to be the same as the ICOs if there are no big players just joined like Facebook.
The focus of the metaverse won't be with the payments but with the interaction and like a social living which is Facebook's expertise.
If the actual intention of the technology is the intention then what will be the role of payment there and all these token projects created for that purpose? For me they just get along with the trend but as a investor we have to think what is needed what should be avoided.
Payment will still be there but it's not the focus but the actual use case of being a metaverse like you're being inside the virtual world. There would be payments here and there and that's already a given cause since it's related to cryptocurrencies.
Every project is always riding the hype and that's why many of them are thinking of what's going to be the best for them.

I believe, the concept of metaverse has been boosted its possible use case in the market due to pandemic reasons.
To avoid going outside for unnecessary transactions and just enjoy the entertainment at the comfort of your home, now, people have the choice via metaverse experience.
Though it is quite expensive at the start but I think, the price will go down as many companies will join this industry.
In my opinion, it may not be a bubble as it has use case in the entertainment industry and for people who are introverts, this will be a very good avenue for them to have fun without physically interacting with other people.
But what it is going to bring new? If making payments from the comfort itself is the main reason then people can do it with the help of internet banking itself or if someone wants to eliminate the third party so called banks then they can use bitcoin so what is the actual play of metaverse is going to be is still unknown to me.
2879  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 29 Year Old Legend In Crypto Trading on: February 16, 2022, 03:27:32 AM
Its just an information and he can't teach anyone to become a billionaire now and no one is going to do it either.

Arbitrage trading was good but nowadays its rare to find price difference for a coin with enough volume to make money so if someone wants to become then they need to find a new way.
Looks like we need a new strategy to use an advantage when trading in crypto market since arbitrage isn't that profitable these days. Early days are always profitable for those who invest and make use of it as long as there aren't much people knew about it. He's like the creator of Facebook on early days who gain massive support from the people around the world and then become a billionaire. Although his style of making money is different but he's the best example of a consistent person who doesn't waste opportunity when it's available he grab it.
We don't know actually how he made it because lot of people are also doing arbitrage trading at that time but only few become super rich just like who is mentioned in OP, either ot happened due to his compounding skills or manipulated something and make use of it but for now these are rare opportunity so its not really going to make anyone super rich.
2880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: February 15, 2022, 04:33:38 PM
People say its the next big thing but for me who is living in the present doesn't really care about it, just focusing on what to invest now and for the future and it will work for the next 10 years atleast so I have time and see whether the metaverse will takeover or just fade like other trends hyped in the past.
It's possible that the Metaverse hype could just be the same as ICO, IEO and other of the same. Time gonna come that they're no longer important to the others and will still stay to the usual crypto like bitcoin.
Meta Verse has other utility as well that is why tech giant company Facebook started to develop their platform based on metaverse which is going to be the future of gaming and social media but I don't ever thought it will change the blockchain payment system too.
Yeah, they've made also that and it could be bigger because of them. But the actual thing with metaverse as related to the crypto market. It's really going to be the same as the ICOs if there are no big players just joined like Facebook.
