A moderator should add a note to the front page so that idiots that don't read the thread will still know that this is a scam.

I wish people weren't so gullible. It makes scamming a worthwhile profession.
This was actually legit at one time though, I got my Netflix code from this guy. He seems to just be busy atm.
2866  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] AdBit.co - Advertising platform, better than clicks/views! on: March 22, 2014, 10:11:02 PM
I placed adbit.co, a-ads and operation fabulous on www.coinlearn.org/earn.php page a few days ago.

While a-ads has generated 0.00272066 Ƀ, adbit.co earning is 0.00000007 BTC as of yet. Operation Fabulous earning is 0 as of yet and I'll remove them soon. May I know the reason of less earning from adbit.co and will u suggest some way to take this earning to a-ads earning level or better ?
A-Ads is a CPM/CPC advertising network. This is opposed to Adbit which is CPD. This means that if no one wants to advertise on your webpage, you get no money, whereas A-Ads will spread the ads across the network.

Except for a-ads is there any other CPM ad network that pays in bitcoin ?
Not that I know of right now. I intend to make a new network somewhat soon, but that is not to discuss here.

Also, Freebitcoinz is a completely legitimate site. I believe that they are running into some funding issues since their Adsense account got shut down, but I have gotten a payment from them before. I have no idea about the other one.

Is it possible that you could post proof of your rig with a message proving that it's legit? There's a lot of these cloud mining things that are pure scam nowadays.

Boy, I haven't seen anything like this before *cough ProBitcoin cough*.

Just so you know, that site is probably bullshit. No one is going to pay you 0.001 BTC for clicking an ad.

Used invite, going to try it out. Tho I've been using HMA VPN without any problems recently...
Just so you know, if you mean Hide My Ass, don't do anything too sketchy. They keep a lot of logs and are pretty terrible at keeping you completely anonymous.
2871  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] AdBit.co - Advertising platform, better than clicks/views! on: February 20, 2014, 09:41:55 PM
Do u pay for pageviews, i.e. CPM ?
AdBit works using a pay-per-day system
No.
2872  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Netflix and Hulu 1 Year Subscriptions at 75% Discount [netflix4btc.com] on: February 17, 2014, 05:04:25 PM
can anyone vouch for this

Many people have. Could you respond to my PM's?

I bought two codes for $50.  I was told they were surplus codes from legit suppliers.  The first code I tried got cancelled after a day.  I'm trying the second now, I don't really want to try the second as I'm worried Netflix will flag my account for fraud with multiple bad codes.  (**Update: tried the second code, it was straight up invalid) The email I got from Netflix is at the end of this post.

I have emailed/pm'd lucaspm98 but I have gotten no reply - it's been two days without a response so I thought I should warn you guys.

I bought and I got screwed.  I definitely do not vouch for this - don't waste your money like I did.

If my troubles just saved you $25 feel free to throw a couple bitcoins my way to help me recoup my losses, I'd appreciate it.

***Email from Netflix***

We appreciate your interest and continued use of the Netflix service. Our records indicate that a Netflix Gift Subscription that you redeemed was reported as unauthorized and therefore payment for the Gift Subscription was returned to the cardholder. Due to non-payment of the Gift Subscription, the gift code ending in HHH6 has been removed from your account.

If the gift subscription you redeemed was purchased from outside the Netflix website, we recommend reaching out to the third party site to recuperate any funds. No credits will be issued by Netflix for this issue. To prevent an interruption in your service, we have not canceled your Netflix account.
That's really weird, because I bought my code, got it within half an hour and had is working half an hour later. I'm sure that others had the same experience as me.

2874  Economy / Services / Re: Free Vanity Addresses (5 Chars Max) on: February 08, 2014, 11:12:33 PM
"VanityGen" can generate 5 Chars vanity addresses within an hour with just a CPU
I believe most people would prefer do generate one by themselves.
But it is generous of you to offer
I would really just like to save people the trouble of making one if they wanted one. They are pretty good and everyone should have one imo haha
2875  Economy / Services / Re: Free Vanity Addresses (5 Chars Max) on: February 08, 2014, 10:46:23 PM
If you aren't scamming, you can use the technique described here: https://bitcoinvanity.appspot.com/sp/help to generate addresses for people without knowing their private keys.
Alright, I will read up on how to do this and get it up soon. Thanks.

2877  Economy / Services / Free Vanity Addresses (5 Chars Max) on: February 08, 2014, 10:35:15 PM
Hello,

I am going to be offering free vanity addresses to whoever may want them. I will deliver the private keys through Personal Message.

Current list (I will only be doing 5 at a time):
-
-
-
-
-

I can promise that I won't use the private key once I have generated it if that helps, which I doubt it does. If you have any questions then you can just ask me on the thread or through Personal Message.

Thanks, hope you enjoy the addresses.

Take it, Its money lost and nothing we can do?...
I doubt there's much we can do. We might be able to get info from his whois protection, but then it would be what to do with it. The problem with Bitcoin is it's main selling point, it's completely anonymous.
2879  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] AdBit.co - Advertise per day (bids)! on: February 04, 2014, 08:06:09 PM
You might want to fix it so that people can't bid outside their account balance, though I do realize it's in beta.
