Tottenham dependence on Kane and Son are good and bad for them. If these two players have good performances, Spurs have big probability to get good results. If they have bad performances or get injuries, Spurs will get troubles. The injury was happened with Kane and it is not a coincidence that it triggers a row of matches that Spurs end with bad results.

If you see how Bergwik missed many great opportunities to score in many matches, you can understand how Spurs will be easily to break down without Kane: who can do 2 tasks, score goals and make key passes, assists.

Gareth Bale, after the loan from Los Blancos, did not show good enough and it is a pity for him and Spurs. Will Bale take the injury of Kane to come back?

^^ Totally agree with Spurs reliance over Kane and Son. IMO their reliance on Harry Kane is more. Don't know if any of you recall last year's problem - last season, same month -Feb , Jose Mourinho just took over the team for a month (I guess) and Harry Kane was injured , it was such a huge problem for Mourinho as he had not much options. Its the same situation- there is no difference maker. Son is actually a speedster and yeah he can make runs and can score if you give him a good ball and make a key chance for him but when it comes to linking the team in attacking it was only one name inside the team- Harry Kane.

There is also one problem which is counter attacking- unless they have a very great defence unit I don't think they should always rely on counters.

I guess benching twist and getting a stand in is all it takes to light up the team once again or maybe it's Astralis having a bad day and still broken after getting denied by NaVi.  Cheesy

Its very rare to see a new player making such performance and rising up to occassions when needed in lifting up the team. zte really played well and TBH they all did well. ztr was however very good but they all as a team played well against 2020' champions. They completely read Astralis like a book.
2863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: February 04, 2021, 04:40:17 PM

I'm going with Astralis (-1.5) as well NiP looking like a tier two/three team at the moment given their recent form from the summit tournament.

NIP are giving a hard fight against Astralis. I would have also backed Astralis since NIP are performing poorly. They already have won their map pick - Inferno and Astralis needs to do heavy work in remaining map to get win in their group stage match.

TBH NIP are doing surprisingly well. Wonder what is going on with them in previous couple of matches.

Big  mistake made by Liverpool after missing their defender like Joe Matip, Joe Gomez and van dijk because they only get player above third defender skill, I think very trouble transfer made by Liverpool because why can't get most danger defender with primer league very competitive league in the world, I think Liverpool hard to be champion this season because almost their player injury until at the end of this season.

Honestly their attackers should be trying more. Right now they have some defensive worries but still I think in that game they have of lot of good chances which should have ended into the back of the net. There are still lot of matches and I think they will be on track very soon.

It is getting hard for Liverpool with the drop of points and all the gap building between them and the top spot but I think they will cover up soon. The only team which is a big hurdle is City who are in good form so they need to hope for them to drop points somewhere in the matches remaining.
2865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 04, 2021, 12:13:25 PM

Aston Villa 1 - 3 West ham

 Grin

I was expecting great things from the aston villa when I saw the good performance they were having

I also was expecting a good fight from Aston Villa but West Ham were better in first half than Villa. They had some more good chances than Villa in first half and so I put a very small bet on draw no bet on West Ham and came out with the winner. Also what a great debut Lingard had this match. He played really well in the first match and there is lot of matches ahead.

Gotta say- David Moyes have done some good transfers this season. They are proving to be fruitful for Hammers so far as they stand 5th in the league.

Arsenal are off-loading their players heavily whether it be on a permanent transfer or loan. Just recently they have sent Maitland-Niles on loan to West Brom also they are also considering moving Willock to Newcastle on loan as well. They are quite some talent but guess Arteta feels he has got everything he needs for now for the remainder of the season.

As for Liverpool, they did well to sign some defenders and sent Minamino to Southampton on loan. How do you feel about this? (Liverpool fans)

Leeds actually shocked me today.

This happens few times for me, Leeds and Aston Villa. Whenever I pick them to win their match either in Superbru or MM, they ended up losing but whenever I pick the opposite, they always ended up winning . Sucks but its quite shocking to be able to win against Leicester even after Leicester scored that early goal

What can I say, its PL so not so surprised anyway. Every team in PL has calibre and potential to defeat big teams. At one point they are struggling and they come out to surprise big teams to end their bad run. That's what makes it entertaining to watch isn't it.

BTW second goal in West Ham vs Liverpool and what a lovely one touch long pass from Shaquiri to Salah to assist him in his second goal of the game as well as for Liverpool.

^^ Guess it is getting tougher and tougher with each round. Wouldn't be surprised if we have a 15/15 winner very soon. This goes to show how stiff is competition now and sportsbet gaining popularity  Cheesy.

I am also on the same page with you @notblox1 with only 4 picks , so I am already waiting for the next one. Tongue

Leeds actually shocked me today. They are great attacking side but also are weak when it comes to defending. I really thought that despite without Vardy they will find easy going against Leeds but Leeds had other plans. Great job from Leeds and well deserved 3 points.

While Chelsea won their game statistics show that Burnley couldn't even shot more than once. I didn't watch the game but is it true?
I saw Azpilicueta's goal, that was a classy finish. Marcos Alonso's goal was even better. Chelsea finally got the first win with Tuchel, many more to come I believe.
Tuchel's work is starting to be more and more visible. Yes, it is true: Chelsea have not conceded a single shot on target during this match. Maybe Frankie Lampard's time was really over at Chelsea.
Great goal by Marcos Alonso Mendoza, you can watch it here while it lasts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cvGlIUToB4

Its too early to say that Tuchel tactics are starting to work already. Remember that Burnley isn't a real test for Blues. They need to maintain their run throughout the rest of the season. They have already lost so many points and if they were to make it into top 4 again they need to maintain this run again better teams as well.
2872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 31, 2021, 07:44:36 AM
The squad might be losing their confidence from the last game against Sheffield. Its kinda frustating to lose against a team that only won once so that might be one of the reason but to be honest Cavani wasnt doing much in this match. He might play better as a replacement rather than starting squad ( my personal opinion )

Ole was trying out some changes and I feel that he should have tried that against teams not in best shape. There were many chances but both sides defended well. As for Cavani, was expected much from him but didn't delivered but maybe also due to how Arsenal defence performed so don't blame him much but he scored in the chance he had.

It was a great game boring for the viewers but both teams played their best and 0-0 was the outcome due to that.
2873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 30, 2021, 08:01:48 PM
Arsenal improved a lot in the second half and was better on the field, but by counting the chances the two teams lost the victory .

Arsenal had better chances than United. Arsenal did great defending today and they gave no opening for United to make some play. Both team had good chances but Arsenal ones were very close. Was a bit surprised that there wasn't that quality in United's attack today as I saw in couple of games ago. 0-0 scoreline is so frustrating for viewers...would have accepted a draw with 1-1 scoreline even.
2874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 30, 2021, 05:10:24 PM
Now the game of the day is Arsenal vs. Manchester United. Both teams have great players in starting eleven. It's very possible that both teams to score in this match.
Odds are nice, I might take over 2.5 goals or both teams to score, can't decide yet.

Some interesting changes in lineup from Man United and same from Arsenal. I am however much interested in what role will Pogba play as he is one of the defensive midfielders and Fred and Tominay also is starting who are also defensive midfielders? Ole handing new role to Pogba i.e promoting to wing position- that's new and will be great if that also pays off.

Whatever it is - it is already looking interesting just watching the lineup of both sides.
2875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 30, 2021, 04:23:24 PM
It could be possible that Lingard's loan to West Ham is United moves to make a room for Amad Diallo.
He just scored a debut goal today against Liverpool for United U23.

United usually try their players out by rolling them into U-23 matches. Most of the new players or the one who aren't performing as expected are usually moved into U-23 teams. Well it's a good way to test if a player is ready for the senior matches or not.

IIRC Ole in his interview said that he was gonna try Amad Diallo with U-23 squad and see how he performs. There is no rush and they will give him enough time so that he fits into the senior matches.

Regarding Lingard, he knows he doesn't gets enough chances. Its better to move somewhere where he will get opportunities. West Ham is a good move as hammers are performing great and he gets to play in first tier league as well so it is all falling in well for Lingard.
2876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 29, 2021, 07:17:58 PM
Moreover, David Moyes believes he can make Lingard
shine again.

To me it seems like Moyes need more attacking options. Sebastian Haller was recently loaned out after Antonio made comeback from injury - both are same physical wise but Antonio has good experience. With that maybe Moyes wanted to switch over for a different new attacking option.

Well it is good actually , now he hasn't found much playing time. Hope that Moyes utilise him properly. As for Lingard to shine again, still it's early to say.
2877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 29, 2021, 04:26:09 PM
Seems like Jesse Lingard has chosen to move to West Ham on loan as he has struggled to find some playing minutes at United. He has hinted his move in his Instagram handle.

Also another Hammer's news as West Ham are close to making Benhrama move permanent. Official announcement could be anytime soon.

Great game from Liverpool and perfect match to register the first win of the PL this year and be back on track after winless and goalless streak. I loved the way they were continuously making runs and making movements totally disturbing their defence over and over again. They knew who their weakest point was in defence and continued to attack that. As for spurs, they completely relied on counter attack and waited for their moment but Klopp and his men knew what was coming.

Inter is very close to the swap with Roma, Sanchez for Dzeko according to the latest from Italy.
I do not see the point of this exchange really. Inter has already his Dzeko (Lukaku). They both share similar characteristics: I bet Roma would benefit more than Inter from this exchange. Also, if I was Lukaku, I would be a bit disappointed to have somebody like Dzeko basically challenging my spot.
https://www.forzaroma.info/news-as-roma/dzeko-sanchez-i-social-tra-ironia-e-rabbia-pinto-ma-che-fai-esulta-solo-pastore/
Social networks are already making fun of the news, in fact. Grin

Sanchez is a bit technical while Dzeko is complete forward (I mean pure 9) but that doesn't means that his arrival will put Lukaku's position in contest. It could be also possible that they might try out with two pure forwards. Lukaku is a goal scorer but lacks technical abilities and Sanchez also has been out of shine for Inter so maybe they want someone who has bit of both technical and is a goal scorer as well. It is interesting indeed and would be interesting to see how Conte actually plays both of them plus Martinez.
