2861  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best coaches in Football and performance on: March 28, 2022, 03:37:05 AM
talking about better trainers I consider these:

- Jürgen Klopp
- Mikel Arteta
- Antonio Conte
- Thomas Tuchel
- Josep Guardiola
- Massimiliano Allegri
- Jose Mourinho
- jorge jesus

these coaches can take any team and bring results, they are good coaches in my opinion
What criteria's did you consider before deciding your list? what did you take into consideration before you called out all these coaches as "best coaches".

OP, this discussion is good, but to make it better and less ambiguous, there are some things we need to take into considerations like;
(a) Should the list of best coaches be an all-time list or a list of only coaches still in active duties?

(b) Are we only considering coaches from football clubs, and not coaches for National teams?

2864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gender bias in gambling. on: March 26, 2022, 06:58:37 PM
There seems to be a bias in the opinions of people regarding gender and gambling. Most persons in my locale consider gambling as something more appropriate for males than females, who made that a law?

-In my locale, a man who is considered a compulsive gambler may be overlooked if he is doing well regardless, but a for a woman, regardless of her financial state, will be perceived and considered highly irresponsible if she is found in a betting or gambling place.

-A man who is known to be a gambler may still be considered for marriage by a woman, but if a woman is known to be compulsive gambler before marriage, most men will run from them or not even get close enough to consider them for marriage.

Why the bias? should gambling be only for Men?
2865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 26, 2022, 05:28:05 PM
For Raphinha, I really don't know if he is a perfect fit this current Barcelona team, he seems to dribble a lot and the quality of his passes and crosses are not as great as that of the likes of Dembele and Adama.
Dembele is slowly becoming a very important player in the Barcelona club, it will be wise for his management to agree an extension of his contract rather than joining PSG where he will begin to fight for first team place especially since PSG are looking in the direction of Aurélien Tchouaméni and Paul Pogba.

There are rumours as well that Xavi is looking to bring Mo' Salah to Barcelona

I think this is highly unlikely as i do not think the club will want to spend so much during the transfer season especially if they want to retain dembele, because a new contract for him will mean a raise in wages.
2866  Economy / Trading Discussion / Understanding "When" to trade. on: March 26, 2022, 04:07:46 PM
Knowing the HOW to trade is one thing, another is knowing the WHEN.
As a trader (crypto & forex), it is bad to trade every time the market opens up. The best and most profiting traders are not those that trade everyday, but take a targeted approach to trading.

For me, I know for sure that i do not like to trade on Mondays because that's when i take analysis to know which way the market will go for the week. Trading days for me are usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the market moves better on those days for me.

Some other times not to trade as well are;
- On holidays.
- During Major news events.
- When you are emotional unstable.
2867  Economy / Economics / Re: What about the role of giving in personal finance? on: March 26, 2022, 02:58:10 PM
People who donate regularly end up building more wealth, as well as having better social relationships and a better life.
To receive more, you must give...not necessarily a thing of religion, just a law of life. I spent some time with a very wealthy and generous woman who is now late, while she was alive, in one of our discussions, she told me that - If you close your palms with money (you can't receive really, because your palms are closed) but when you are liberal and generous, with an open palm, you can receive also when giving.

It is also a mental thing, if i contribute a million dollars without thinking (it is because i can afford to), mentally, my mindset becomes bigger than that amount and i have adjusted my vibrations to get more than that, that's why i will get more. If i can't give an amount, it means my mindset hasn't grown bigger than that amount, regardless of me having it, because i see this sum as bigger than me, i have indirectly limited my mind on ways to keep getting more, so i may not get an amount more than that sum i have idolised.
2868  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tell people about bitcoin but don't force them to invest on: March 26, 2022, 12:33:52 PM
It will be nice to tell people about bitcoin,  but not to force/pressure them to invest , because if investing goes wrong sometimes it is funny to see the reactions of people when money is loss, the loss of money is a case that has ended many good friendship and misunderstanding between family members.
These days, as a result of the numerous Ponzi schemes that have been orchestrated in the past, people always get suspicious whenever you seem to add a little pressure to try to convince them to involve themselves in anything online or digital that involves money. I won't blame them.

Sometimes there's no need to tell until you are asked, the evidence should show in your finances and your general standard of living so much that someone who is close will develop an interest in what you do, and will like to know if they can get involved. Telling someone then that you invest in bitcoins and they can get involved too, explaining to them that it is no get rich quick scheme but a certain way to achieve financial freedom with proper strategy, is sure to get them to invest or want to invest in bitcoins without pressure, you have aroused their interest.

2869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup qualifiers.. on: March 26, 2022, 03:24:15 AM
African nations games are some of the most difficult to predict. Reason being that, almost all the teams are on a level platform and it's rear to see matches with an over 3.5 scoreline  nor would you see a particular team with lots of goal difference.
Very true, it's been a really long time i saw a team win another by a huge goal difference in african football. As much as Egypt will do well in the world cup, i think senegal who were just winners of the AFCON can do well relatively. The game between Egypt and Senegal is far from over, Egypt won but did not score a goal themselves, not very convincing, and this proves that they return leg will still be a battle for qualification.

At the end of the first legs for the World Cup qualifies ;
Ghana and Nigeria ended with no goals in the game.
Not as expected really by many including myself, Maybe we just overhyped the super eagles, because there was nothing super about their performance. We have many quality players in our team, and the challenge now is with our coach Austin Eguavon to be able to manage and get these players to play together as a team. Nigeria needs to get it right in the second leg, we will have the hole advantage and will have to take our chances, it will be a huge disappointment if Nigeria doesn't qualify.
2870  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Educate and teach the youngins about Bitcoin. on: March 25, 2022, 04:10:15 PM
So I think, it's very okay for every bitcoiner to educate their young ones about Bitcoin.

It shouldn't be a forceful thing, i mean educating your kids. You can stimulate interest, but as much as possible not deprive them of their childhood experiences that could help them find their fit a d contribute their quota to society. If the goal of you wanting to teach your kids about bitcoin, crypto, trading etc is for financial freedom, you should not forget that those channels are not the only way truthfully and that their financial liberation might lay with a different skillset. Let children find their way, you can be a guide to stimulate their interest in bitcoin and crypto, but don't force them into it.

If they are to become great people in other fields to help society and you force them into crypto,  who will replace them? don't you think if everyone don't give room for their kids to learn and pick interest in any other fields, that in no time at all, other important fields will be lacking specialist.
2871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 25, 2022, 12:54:37 PM
I'd think Arsenal would struggle against Chelsea, but should be able to beat Man U and West Ham without too much trouble.
Arsenal will struggle definitely against Chelsea for two reasons;
-Most players ( Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard, Granit Xhaka, Kieran Tierney, Thomas Partey, Ben White, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe) are on international duty at the moment, they will quickly have to adjust to the playing style of their country, to be able to do well for country as a team, after the break which is two weeks, when they have returned, the chemistry players had and the momentum the club had before the break may die down, we may struggle again to get our swagger back.

-Secondly, for the obvious reason that Chelsea is still a very strong and focused club to play against regardless of the problems the management is facing, arsenal may play well like we did against Liverpool but still not win.

Of all things, i hope none of our players sustain an injury during the international duty, that will be a disaster at the point in the competition.

2872  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia considers accepting Bitcoin for oil and gas on: March 25, 2022, 12:21:10 PM
What do you think of this news? Russia could accept Bitcoins from some countries as payment for oil and gas supplies:
Since the United States imposed sanctions on trade with Russia in a bid to suffocate them economically into abandoning the war with Ukraine, their biggest exports which is Oil and gas has been avoided by most countries that patronize them, not mainly due to reason that they are in support of the decision from United States, but because they are threatened by the facts that if they go against the United States and maintain patronage, they may come under sanctions as well.

The decision to abstain from the Russian oil and gas is easier for some countries than it has been for some others that have already become dependent and the current situation is really affecting them. Russia understands the situation and with this consideration towards bitcoin payment may be able to take advantage of the situation.

With this method, you may be surprised that some countries that have openly criticized Russia for the invasion will still in secret patronize them, but proper intelligence can still give them away.

2873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 25, 2022, 09:33:44 AM
A heart breaking way to kick Italy out of World Cup qualifier. North Macedonia with one of the great upsets in football. They defended incredibly well. Had one real chance at the end and made the most of it. I am sure that Italy downgraded Macedonia and they were looking forward to Portugal match not knowing they have to clear the path to meet them. Italy quite obviously lacked creativity upfront...
Italy played so bad, they would have been beaten hands down by Portugal should they have beat Macedonia. Macedonia will put up a better show against Portugal and not make it so easy like Italy would have. Although because i want the world cup to be thrilling, I still want Portugal to beat Macedonia to it, so we can see ronaldo try again to win the world cup for Portugal.

Luis Suarez and Cavani as well will have a go at the world cup for the fourth time together again as the team have qualified and joined the likes of Brazil, spain, france, England, Argentina, Germany etc.

Senegal to face egypt again for world cup qualification, Egypt cannot repeat the same  pattern they played in the AFCON finals where they play to get a draw and hope to win on penalties, they need to play to win from the kick off whistle.
2874  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is a game of quantity on: March 25, 2022, 05:47:52 AM
Analysing this topic from a critical aspect and OP's point of view, due to the limited supply of bitcoin (21 million coin limit), it will be wise to focus more on gaining numbers on the amount of btc you own while you still can easily than being affected by the fluctuating value. Very wise indeed!

In a long run, prolly when all bitcoins have been mined, the value of bitcoins then will be even more than what we can predict and i believe it will be more stable, the person who held on to getting more bitcoins and owns the most bitcoins, will hold the most valuable asset with the greatest value.

Its best to not look at the price of your Bitcoin that you own but focus on buying more while the price is in dip.
True,If you focus on the price of your bitcoins, you will be affected by emotions and will be moved to sell. Stick to the plan, acquire more while you can and hodl.

2875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 24, 2022, 09:05:04 PM
Portugal 2-0 Turkey, the second half just started and it is unlikely that Turkey could do something.
Although Ronaldo has not yet gotten a goal, he has made significant contributions to the Portugal side in this game, you can just the pure desire to want to play for country in the world cup. He has been running around the field, looking like a player still very much in his youth, whereas he is a 37 year old man.

italy still 0-0 with macedonia,
Even after halftime, the Italian side are still struggling, they are not playing together as a team should, no synchronisation, all players looking to play for themselves. They have been a disappointment so far not been able to get even a goal against a side like Macedonia, and their attack is looking like they are incapable of scoring as well. Very poor display from Italy, not world cup standard.
2876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: March 24, 2022, 05:30:38 PM
This ain't the first time they're dealing with stuff's like this, they already dealing with Australian football League, Formula 1.
The success of these sponsorship deals has maybe been more than they have expected or just as they have expected, hence the decision to seize the opportunity to advertise and sell their name on a much bigger and global platform like the world cup and why not, especially when the world cup is a globally aired both in countries where there are strong regulations against crypto and countries that are crypto friendly as well.

My joy particularly about this new development about crypto.com sponsoring the world is that, In wanting to promote their company, they are also promoting the "crypto" name. Binance or kucoin can sponsor, but people may never care to understand what they are really about because of their names, but with crypto.com, you immediately see "crypto", and get the message.

This also will create a friendly image for cryptocurrency in general.
2877  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you share your key to your family? on: March 24, 2022, 04:00:17 PM
Did you already share your key to your family?
I wouldn't advice this exactly to anyone, regardless of a person being called family, it doesn't eliminate them from the possibilities of what could happen. We have heard cases formerly of family members killing another family member directly or indirectly for fiat that they discovered a person owned. Who is to say that such a situation cannot happen in crypto as well, that is - You making the mistake to just give away your keys to someone you call family knowing fully well that there's a huge sum of crypto therein. You can never can tell what life situations will turn that your family member into should you think you know them so well and can trust them.

Telling your family members especially the ones who are tech savvy and maybe into crypto as well that you are into cryptocurrency is enough, you don't need to divulge your keys just yet. They will be aware in the case of a situation like death that there is something called "keys", the next thing for them will be how to get your keys, which you may have included in your will, or written somewhere they know you keep private things like a notepad. Someone with information on crypto, and who knows exactly what they are looking for can find the "keys" written down properly in a stockpile of notepads.
2878  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't accept bribe to do KYC, it doesn't worth it on: March 24, 2022, 06:07:09 AM
For people who are in need of such, they should take it but for people who are not in such bad conditions, they should think carefully.
Exactly, some people's details are not important to them and is worth a few dollars, this sort of incentive though may not be ill centered, but will certainly attracts more unsuspecting individuals who consider their details and private information not so important.

I think platforms probably don't have bad intention when they run such campaigns, giveaway, airdrops to their users.
It would have been more suspicious if the amount promised was a very ridiculous amount. If that was the case, it will be obvious that it is just a scheme to lure users in for an ill centered reason most probably to steal private information.

Regardless, if you don't feel comfortable being enticed with money for kYC verification, you are free to opt out and seek other options.

2879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup qualifiers.. on: March 24, 2022, 04:49:33 AM
Currently Ghana has won more game against Nigerian which is 25 compared the Nigeria just winning them 12 times. Both teams has played 19 draw so a draw between both teams isn't slim but be rest assured both teams will put in their best performance.
The Ghanian side should not be underated, likewise the Nigerian side with very many quality players plus a team that did well in the just concluded AFCON. It seems the Ghanian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru
may not play in the game due to injury, it will be a big disappointment for  him and the black stars especially since he was just voted as "player of the month" for his club side. Edmund Addo, a midfielder for the black side has been ruled out as well due to injury, there's still Partey though for the black stars who is in top form. For the super eagles, the only person i know will not future is the our goalie from the AFCON Maduka Okoye, he will be replaced with John Noble who is also a very good choice. There are many Nigerian players that i will love to see their performance at the world cup level against bigger teams, i sincerely hope the Super eagles qualify for the world cup.
2880  Economy / Economics / Re: Energy, the driving force of any country being scarce gives way for inflation on: March 23, 2022, 09:40:50 PM
Seriously the effect of oil increase is reaching every country. There is need for diversification of energy and oil especially the dependence on oil.
This cannot be more loudly said, the current energy situation around the world is an eye opener that our over dependence on oil for energy is beginning to fail us woefully. It is up to both the developing and developed countries of the world  to begin to seek energy alternatives in other renewable sources and most importantly independent sources. Independent alternatives in the sense that every country begin to harness the available renewable energy available to them. If this has been the case, oil scarcity driving inflation would not have be very exponential. The effects would have been minimal.
