2861  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin = $1,000,000 on: March 31, 2016, 03:25:21 PM
Each person own 1 Bitcoin and hold on to it for 20+ years.

Bitcoin is the best investment of all time. Owning Bitcoin is better than owning a house.

Indeed, anyone not owning at least 1 BTC by 2016 is doing extremely wrong, specially if this person has been on this forum for a while.
And about 21 trillion dollars for 1 million per coin, I don't think marketcaps are calculated that way. It would actually take less trillions to reach 1 million per coin.

It's perfectly possible to reach 1 million per coin over the next decade or two. Gold has trillions invested, and only some of this migrating into Bitcoin will make the price explode, since the marketcap of today is super tiny.
2862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: March 31, 2016, 03:20:40 PM
Cristiano Ronaldo did a fantastic performance the other day with the portugal team, he did some nice dribbling tricks and scored a goal. He is on a great level and totally read y for the Clasic. I think they can win Barca this time. I hope Barca play at 100% and not save anything because that's bullshit.

Yeah we are really trust in Ronaldo and Messi to score more and more golas to win our over 2.5 goals bet.
From my experience these 2 never score a lot of goals together when they play against each other. Usually Messi scores the most goals when Cristiano is on the same match, so im going to say that Messi will score more, but we will see. Cristiano is the best and has the highest scoring rate of all times but when Messi is around he sort of gets blocked.
2863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice vs Slots on: March 31, 2016, 03:08:02 PM
So far I only play Dice I don't trust slots at all. Some people play all day on slots but that is simply not mine game. I don't trust the most slots also you know they take most of time all your money.

Actually there is no much different in slots. It is almost the same as dice games too but you can't use any strategy with it because slots is pure luck games. But some of them even get big winning on slots too. It just matter of your luck, if you have more luck you will sure earn in slot games

In slots you can play with the amount of lines you are wanting to bet at. This can give you some options and try to develop strategy. Of course it all comes down to pure luck but you can switch things up. I think slots is a better game than dice overall, I always end up playing slots and get bored of rolling the dice.
2864  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: March 31, 2016, 02:19:23 PM
I think you can get 10 BTC out of gains if you take a really high risk like investing your entire 7 BTC stack in an altcoin that isn't total crap, there aren't many, but Maidsafe and Ethereum in my opinion I think are still waiting some really high pumps before they start getting stagnant as sidechains are released and most altcoin money goes back to BTC.
2865  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: March 31, 2016, 02:04:08 PM
By 2022 Lightning Network will be operative at full speeds and we will be able to send transactions all over the world for super cheap fees and instantly. Only idiots will still be using alternative ways to send money from A to B.
Also only idiots will not have some BTC to diversify their Gold with. In fact, anyone that's smart should be moving more wealth from gold and other commodities to Bitcoin.
2866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ToominCoin aka "Bitcoin_Classic" #R3KT on: March 31, 2016, 01:47:45 PM
With every new update of Core and new BIPs and merging of features going on the Classic supporters are getting increasingly nervous. Im sorry guys but at this point it's time to call it a day and admit that Core was the better team from the start.

2867  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie here on: March 31, 2016, 01:40:34 PM
The only way you can gain some coins is by selling your signature space for a brand so you can advertise it in your posts, but in order to make any decent amount you are going to need to ascend to at least Full Member, this takes a couple of months, and even then it's not much but it's better than nothing.

This is if you want to invest in time, and not invest in money too (investing in an altcoin and selling in a pump, for example).
2868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice vs Slots on: March 30, 2016, 03:09:50 PM
I was never into dice, it seems boring to me.. just hoping to see some dots. With slots you get a lot more colorful figures and different combinations, you get some really nice extras in some of the websites with stackable winnings. My favorite slot site is by far the slot machine at www.bitcoinvideocasino.com with some really nice prices, progressive winnings and really nice graphics.

2870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could consume as much electricity as Denmark by 2020 on: March 30, 2016, 02:16:04 PM
The error is comparing Bitcoin to a centralized state issued currency... this is not the right comparative. You should compare how expensive mining gold is, compared to Bitcoin. Then you would see that not only Bitcoin is a better money in all aspects than gold, but its also way cheaper and environment friendlier.
2871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Walt Disney Private Blockchain on: March 30, 2016, 02:07:29 PM
This only brings more attention to Bitcoin. Anything that has to do with crypto benefits Bitcoin, because there is no crypto or any other blockchain without Bitcoin.

Eventually those punks will realize they are being stupid and just move to the Bitcoin blockchain, or as a sidechain if anything when available. Meanwhile let them enjoy their DisneyCoins.
2872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could consume as much electricity as Denmark by 2020 on: March 30, 2016, 02:05:30 PM
That was a new fact to know. Its obvious that mining consumes a lot of electricity but didn't thought that it would add up to the total electrical consumption of the whole nation ( Denmark ). This is one of the draw backs of bitcoins as compared to fiat.

Well you are comparing something that is just random 0s and 1s backed by nothing, centralized and closed source, with a decentralized system backed by the biggest network on the planet.
If you want top tier security you are going to need a lot of power, it's just physics.
2873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 30, 2016, 01:54:42 PM
The more the financial system goes down the shitter the more trust people will have in alternatives such as Bitcoin. It's all about Bitcoin and gold in the near future, everything else will be seen as a joke in terms of expecting to keep your wealth safe. You are just taking a big gamble with your money if its inside banks.
2874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: March 29, 2016, 01:56:13 PM
I don't think it is possible for gambling to ever "fix" anyone's life.  If that is the goal/hope of gambling, you are going to be very sorry, and yes it will most certainly wreck your life.  Even the people that win big, are often ruined by the large amount of money. It also causes problems with family members and "friends" that want part of the money.
agree with you. I think gambling will only make wreck your life, no matter how much profit you get, if you can not control yourself you will lose money on gambling.

Gambling is an excellent way of having fun without risking too much money, the problem is when people expect to become professional gamblers and life off it. You can't live off something as unstable and random as gambling. You cannot get good at gambling no matter how much you do it, but you can get good at other things and start making more money, gambling will always be too too random to count in.
2875  Economy / Economics / Re: Platinum as an Investment? on: March 29, 2016, 01:10:41 PM
Personally, I would stick to what's time tested (Gold and Silver) specially in times of uncertainty. Then to experiment with, I cannot think of any other asset that isn't Bitcoin, that could perform insane gains under a financial crisis scenario. It's features are also ideal when you may need to move from a country to another carrying all of your wealth. So don't gamble imo and stick to the king metals + Bitcoin.
2876  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 29, 2016, 12:58:07 PM
One of the major attractive points of Bitcoin is it is an amazing speculative asset, better than gold or anything we've seen before. So yes, the price is very important, the psychological factor is too much to negate, regardless of how superior Bitcoin is as actual money/currency to the alternatives.
The combination of all the aspects of Bitcoin will make it go to 10,000$+ in the next 10 years granted.
2877  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: March 29, 2016, 12:52:28 PM
Bitcoin can easily double it's current price, and that would be 800$. The marketcap is still at at a tiny amount of 6 billion dollars. It only takes a single whale being smart and getting in before the rest to make the price go nuts in a matter of seconds. Once that happens, the rest will follow in FOMO. Once that happens, the smarter people that was holding BTC for ages will enjoy the benefits of increased wealth.
2878  Economy / Speculation / Re: 420 on: March 29, 2016, 12:34:25 PM
Just short sighted idiots trying to short instead of buying and holding, specially stupid to short now that the halving is getting closer by the day. What can I say? let them burn, they will want to commit suicide once they realize they could have made more money by simply buying and holding in a month or two.
2879  Other / Meta / Anyone noticed the FUD bots in the speculation section? on: March 29, 2016, 12:30:21 PM
I think it has been more than a year of some weird nicknames registering (such as BRXblb or g0qMmf etc) just to make 1 post accounts with how Bitcoin is doomed and everyone should sell and so on (the usual bullshit). I can't believe how persistent the guy running this bot must be, there must be hundreds if not thousands of accounts banned already.
If you see giberish nicknames like those on the speculation section just insta report everything.
2880  Economy / Gambling / Re: 99000x is possible at betking.io on: March 28, 2016, 01:47:24 PM
How can you do so many rolls and not get bored of waiting or tired of clicking? I guess there is a way to do an auto-roll so you can just sit back and relax while you do gambles automatically, otherwise I would break my finger if I had to click 45,000 times to get some gains going, definitely not worth the effort.
