2861  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Wins with lowest risks in Casino History on: September 22, 2022, 10:42:05 AM
~ Yeah, you can watch them hitting big multipliers on slots on YouTube, and it's an interesting spectacle indeed. Only "fucked up" is hardly suitable here, mate. You are "fucked up" when you bet $10k and lost it at once. When you bet 30 cents and win $18 million with that bet, "You've done a good job", they say. Although, in fact, it's not you, it's the universe, like in many other cases of lucky turn of events, but who cares? Smiley
Well, luck is something very good and unique, everyone who has that fortune enjoys it in their own way, however it is always good to buy even 1 ticket because you don't know when you have that touch of luck, but it catches my attention after 5 years to realize what a tremendous award, that fell from the sky, for me it is something very good, personally I like it when a person receives awards like that, in some way they deserve it, because if we get to see everyone they deserve it, only that kind of luck is good to look for, with the purchase of a daily ticket or something you can get is one of the safest ways, you don't know but at some point you get it.

Yes, me too. When you see someone's winning big, and you know it's not staged, or something, you know it's genuine, it feels really good. Firstly because the more happy people in the world, the happier the world is overall. And secondly, you see that a big win like that is possible. You can be one of them winners one day.

Thanks for your replies, @AbuBhakar, @CoinEraser, @irsykes, @michellee!

I checked again both threads, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5412860.0 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5412113.0, to make sure my predictions are there, and they are there! Smiley Now I see that my both predictions for ETH were overoptimistic, 1,988.88 Euro and 2,222.22 Euro. But with BTC, especially with my second one, 18,675.35 EUR, I think a have a good chance.

What's really great about the possibility of making 2 predictions is that you have 2 chances instead of just one. And who knows, maybe my first prediction for BTC, 25,555.55 EUR, will be the winner on September 28. Fingers crossed. Smiley
2863  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save as food inflation jumps more than 11% in a year on: September 22, 2022, 09:26:43 AM
To me you pose the question incorrectly, misrepresented. In the current situation, to beat inflation can be done in two ways, saving, as you say, or increasing income above 11%, which is the preferable one in my opinion.

In other threads I have commented that a year ago, which is when inflation began to be noticed, before the war, my income increased, and this has meant that in spite of this inflationary period I have been able to spend more and save more.

It is not an easy thing and not everybody can do it. If you can't increase income, cut back on expenses, yes, but at least try, think about increasing income.

I agree with this. It can be not an easy task to increase your income, but cutting back your expenses is always possible. If food costs have increased by 11%, you should start buying less food. And not much less, but just 11% less. It's possible that you will feel healthier even after eating less, right? ... Well, I know it's not that simple, especially for people living in the poorest countries in the world, they were already eating less than they should, but for those living in rich Western countries eating less can be a good thing.

Interesting info, mate! After reading it I started digging a bit more about history of dice, and found things I didn't know. I knew that Ancient Egyptians were using dice, but I always thought it was something like this

It appeared they were using a six sided dice, like this one

3000 thousand years BC!

Unbelievable! Just several days ago I said in in this post that I will be doing multibets with 80-90 odds to test a pattern of betting(read the post if you want details). I knew it wasn't going to happen on the first try, so I was ready to do dozens of attempts, but look what happened on my third try:

Will definitely keep up with this pattern. Smiley
2867  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: September 21, 2022, 08:15:04 AM
I also suggesting luddo game . 1v1 or 4v4 what ever you want you can play this with multiplayer  there was also one more game carrom bar pool . I think after including those games Gamblers will more attractive on that site . Because as the others boring games of casino those two are more enjoyable game .
-snip-
-snip-

Who knows, perhaps there are some people who would find luddo appealing, here it used to be a very popular game during long travels and family meetings to play while having some drinks/snacks. Also, even though the percentage is high, it served as an example on how casinos could earn money with tabletop games in general, this same model could be applied to chess, Monopoly-like games, memory games, etc.

I must admit though, that luddo and similar kind of tabletop games have fallen in popularity in favor to mobile games, handheld consoles and other forms of electronic entertainment.

There's an app on Google Play, Ludo King, I think it's the game you are talking about, right?

From what I see, it's a very popular game in India. It has been downloaded more than 100 million times, and videos about it on YouTube have millions of views. The DAU (Daily Active Users) of this game is between 10 million and 70 million monthly users. And the game isn't popular only in India, it's quite popular in other countries too. Look:

Source: https://youtu.be/gJbaKMy6me4

I myself can't figure out how to play it, but it appears that many millions of people know and love this game, so, it looks like a good idea to add Ludo on online crypto casino.

I'm getting this message

Yeah, I get the same error message:

Apparently, there is an issue related to an expired SSL certificate or a certificate that doesn't include 'forum.windice.io' domain name. It should be easy to fix, so it will likely be resolved quickly.

The WINDICE  Forum is back.

Looks like only a few people know it's back, because it was for the first time when I was the only person online there

Normally it's an active forum with interesting contests including "Top Poster(s) of the Month" with pretty nice prizes:

I won the very first one of them. Smiley I just checked, OMG, it was three and a half years ago! Time passes surprisingly quickly. Smiley
2869  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | on: September 21, 2022, 06:42:56 AM
Duelbits holds a new contest: Beer Festival!

The prize fund of the contest is $15,000. To get a share of the prize fund you must be in the top 70 players.

How to win:
Quote
1.    Play any of the eligible games with at least $0.20 stake per spin
2.    Each win rewards you with score based on the win multiplier (for example, if you wagered $1 and won $10, you will be rewarded with 10 points).
3.    Points received are summed up throughout the Tournament period
4.    The more points you collect, the higher your position on the Leaderboard
5.    The Top 70 players on the Leaderboard will share a Prize Pool of $15,000

Beer Festival dates: September 15-21, 2022.

Read all contest rules and conditions here: https://duelbits.com/promotions/beer-fest
I wouldn't join the contest because it's obvious only high rollers will win the contest, I didn't even reach the highest tier in a casino where I usually played for long time, so there's no chance I could reach top 70 players against every gamblers on the world. Maybe it's possible I could reach the top 70 players, but I need to use almost of my money only for gambling lol. It will ruined my life since I can't afford to lose most of my money only for gambling.

In the past Duelbits were running promotions for us regular folks too. Like "Slot Master Guessing Game", for example. You shouldn't be a high roller to have a chance to win $200, or $100, or $50 and so on, if you were not the only one who guessed the slot right. It was run by Hhampuz here on bitcointalk, and it was quite challenging, if you ask me. It wasn't rare when not a single person guessed the slot from the first try, and we were moving to another level with a lower prize and easier task.

Let's hope Duelbits will run it again. It was fun. Smiley
2870  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: September 20, 2022, 03:27:45 PM
Betwrong, it's less than 1 month away to the Lambo draw, and I used the recent 4x RP promo to gain a few more tickets (unfortunately in the process busting my deposit lol).

You still interested to pool our GTs together? And do you think we should invite others to join in? We can only add people with reputation to lose since we have to trust each other. I can open a thread in discussion Smiley

Hey, @slaman29. This time I have zero Golden Tickets, so nothing to contribute to the pool from my side.

Regarding inviting others to join the pool, I think it would make sense only if we could gather at least 10% of the total amount of tickets.

There are 1,423,278 tickets currently, so 10% is an unreachable amount, but why that magic number, 10%, you may ask. Well, it's just a good probability to hope for the win, in my opinion, but, of course you can win with just a few tickets, which is what I wish for you.

Good luck, mate!

Fingers crossed. Smiley

_after losing $20 you suddenly want to win it back, you should know you are stepping on the wrong road.

That is the gambling spirit. I don't really know why the thing is like that. When you loss money there is another spirit would come tell you to play back and win the lost plus extra amount. ~

I know what you mean. This very spirit keeps visiting me from time to time Smiley , and it's so hard to say no, I know. It's so hard to banish that spirit, but that's what we, gamblers, should be doing to avoid painful consequences of following it.

~ if you gamble for gain then that is where you would always enter problem.

Not always, but there's a high probability of that. When we say "always" some people may argue that it's a fact that there are many cases of successful gambling by those who wanted to win a huge amount of money. And that's true. In the history of Powerball alone, 393 tickets have won jackpots, many millions of USD each. Also, it's true that people win millions of USD on online slots, but if we think we can be one of them just through being persistent, it only means we can't calculate probabilities properly.
2872  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: September 20, 2022, 01:08:02 PM
~ Take Bill Gates for example.
Bill Gates defines success as Happiness. he does not measure success based on the money he has earned. Instead, he measures every achievement by his own happiness. isn't that simple? yeah it's simple. because a successful life is happy. that is when we can feel happy even though it's in ordinary moments and in ordinary conditions.

Well, if you have 110 billion USD and you are the fifth-richest person in the world, you can probably say(and think) that money is not what you need, you need happiness. Smiley But for us, regular folks, it's mostly money what we need to be happy. I'm not saying all rich people are happy. Far from it. But if you have no money, it's hard to feel happy, especially when you have kids that want to eat. You can shoot some heroin into your veins, or drink alcohol with your friends, losers like yourself, and feel happy, but I don't think you can be called successful in that case.
2873  Economy / Services / Re: POKER COURSES FOR SALE on: September 20, 2022, 12:26:12 PM
~And I think poker courses are not really that relevant as people get to know more and develop more skills in poker games if they often play it in casinos. I’m not saying that these courses are useless, but people actually learn more from their own experience.

It can be true of some things, but not about poker. Yes, you could learn a lot from your own experience if you were someone playing 20 tables at ones, 10 hours per day for 20 years, but it would be much easier, and faster, to learn how to play from a pro.

Well, actually that is an old discussion and after having played for a long time and having read a lot in poker forums, I could assure that there is an equivalence according to which studying poker is equivalent to many hours of practice. So if you want to learn and advance the best thing you can do is to study and play.

In low levels, when you start it is not so important but when you go up levels, and more with how hard the tables are nowadays, there are players who spend more time studying than playing.

I agree with you, indeed the combination of learning from the best in the field and playing at the tables yourself is a great formula to succeed in poker.

Overall I think if someone is considering buying a poker course, they'd better read this thread attentively and get all they needed from the courses, but for free. Smiley

2876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 20, 2022, 11:24:28 AM

Quote
I don't know. Yes, of course, a new coach wants to win the first game, but what are the stats on that? Do they often succeed?

I think in most other leagues the fact is they often succeed and I think in Premier League it is the same when the new coach has a team with a great name like Chelsea has been in recent years for example. Now this coach with the postponement of the games in the Premier League will have somewhat an easier job winning against Salzburg tonight in the Champions League game.If Chelsea fails this then things will go inevitably wrong even in the Premier League as the moral of the players will be at the bottom of the bottom level.

And yet, there was a draw. Smiley No one was expecting it. I surely wasn't expecting that Chelsea will not win on their home field playing against Salzburg, but then it took 47 minutes for Chelsea to score, and then on the 75th minute Noah Okafor from Salzburg evened out the score. Yes, Chelsea played better, much better than their opponent, but by reason of bad luck they didn't win.

But I wouldn't say that the fighting spirit of Chelsea is at the bottom level. I think, same as Liverpool, they are going to climb up in the Premier League table in the future.
2877  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 - The copycat epidemic within crypto casinos. on: September 20, 2022, 10:41:23 AM
It shouldn't necessarily be "much much" better. Imo, just slightly better would be enough to win the competition. It wasn't like this before the Internet because living in one part of the world people had had little to no idea of what's going on in other parts, and even if they knew about something being better in other country, they couldn't use it. So, indeed, you had to have something much much better to draw the attention of potential customers from other countries. Now you can just copy something nice, improve it a little, and you are the winner.
Globalization has really affected almost all aspects of our lives, this is now true not only for casinos or businesses in general but also for people, now you are competing not only against the people that went to school with you, you are competing against people from all over the world, but as you say in order to be a winner in that race you do not have to be so above the competition, because that is very difficult, you only need to be a slightly better option and that will be more than enough to beat the majority of your direct competition.
^That is why being a unique gambling casino would be better than a copycat gambling casino.
Every kind of business has competition and the more you are different from others people would love to explore and experience other features that you have even though the mechanics of the games are almost the same at least you are different from others. A gambling casino that has its own developers would be better than buying a script that has already made it possible there are similarities to other gambling casinos.

Of course being a unique gambling casino would be better than a copycat, no doubt about that, but in reality it's practically impossible. The established model of sports betting, for example, is so good, so convenient for bettors, that with making something entirely new you are risking to be left without customers. Let alone slots that are rented from software providers. They are all the same. How can you be unique in that department? Yes, some gambling sites have their own slots, but it's only one or two among many hundreds of leased ones, and that’s because it is very costly to create a good slot.

That's why I think it is enough to be a bit different, in a good way, to win the competition these days.
2878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: September 19, 2022, 01:58:23 PM
If you travel to different countries, you can easily spot the difference between more cultured peoples and less cultured ones. In prosperous countries, where people are more educated and thus more cultured, you can see goods and food items for sell left on the street without anyone watching over them. ...
I don't know about you but there are a lot of prosperous countries where you just leave your stuff lying around without it being taken/stolen.

That's what I'm talking about. You can leave your stuff on the street, or you can even lose it somewhere in the park and people will return it to you.

~
We have the right and the full responsibility to protect what we have and that is why casinos owners need to do routine check to make sure that there casinos is properly safe for all and I term of bonus abuse so that this will not affect other users.

Actually, with reputable casinos you shouldn't worry much about your safety there. You can relax and just play, your safety is on auto-pilot there. Don't break the rules and you'll be OK.
2879  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: September 19, 2022, 12:37:07 PM
~
As you say you have been in big profit after making just a few rolls, but what about after thousands ones? I doubt anyone sane will gamble more than 10% of his bank roll at each bet if he's trying to reach such wager amount. It means 1660 bets (332k/0.2k) have been made at least with an average stake of $200. On 1660 bets you are more likely to lose the house edge than to make winnings because it's not a small number. And if you are able to make winnings on large amount of bets, you are very likely to be banned or restricted.

This is actually a very interesting question for me. Is it true that you can be banned from an online casino like Stake for the only reason that you are winning too much?

I know it used to be a thing for some land based casinos in the past, but I don't think reputable online casinos of the level of Stake are practicing it these days. In fact, I'm pretty sure that all top online casinos don't do that.

It's good to see that Bitcoin is helping young peiple in Nigeria. Actually, not many people in the world realize how big Nigeria is. I myself keep forgetting that there are over 200 million people living in this country, it's because we are getting not much news from there. And in the meantime Nigeria has an impressive economic statistics:

I hope the young Nigerians that are investing in BTC right now will not regret it in the future. Many crypto experts believe that now is the right time to invest, and I personally agree with them.
