will bayern münchen be in first place from matchday 1 to matchday 34 ? will it be another boring season ? will bayern be 10 points or more ahead at the end of the season ? and will freiburg surprise all the fans again ? will they reach the champions league this year ? and which coach will be the first to be sacked ? can dortmund upset bayern ? many questions that we will only be able to answer in many many weeks.
now dortmund : leverkusen > < my tip : 3:1
First question: I won't be surprised if that happens but in the first rounds, surprises might occur. Second question: 10 points? Why not if its opponents let them fly away. Freiburg? It is early to predict that imo First coach to be sacked? Hertha one maybe? Last question: we will see but so far Dortmund first game started and they are leading since the 10th minute by 1 goal vs Leverkusen

Honestly, I didn't expect to see Ajaccio scoring today especially in the first half after receiving 2 goals.. I still wonder how Lyon goalkeeper was thinking when he did that weird jump apart from being the first carded player in Ligue 1! At the end Lyon were able to get 3 points and indeed a random goal would be a catastrophic start for them.
It's hard to call a draw in the first round a disaster, it's just the beginning. Well, if you look at Lyon’s prospects in Ligue 1, then let’s be honest, they won’t be able to fight PSG for the title, there will be no competitor for PSG in the League, unless Galtier makes the team’s game so terrible (I’m joking). The real fight in Ligue 1 is possible only for the second and third place, this is something Lyon should really worry about. It could be a disaster for their chances to pick an European spot and "for sure" not to pick PSG spot, hmm I mean the first spot sorry I agree that PSG is having a very solid team right now and under good management they could go very far in CL this time. For the moment, there is a game being played between Strasbourg 1 - 2 Monaco with only few minutes left in the game.

Wesley Fofana is a capable defender but he is obviously not worth 80 million, yes, this amount was decided by Leicester City because they really do not want to let him go
moreover, Chelsea should not get this player at all for this price, they will be able to find other options that are more affordable options around this price tag
at the moment, his performances are decent, but when i spend 80 million on a player, i am not willing to expect only a decent performance, i am going to look for one of the best in the world, the rest is up to Chelsea whatever they think
Mind you, Leicester is asking for 80m in £ which is equal to €95m. A very abused price, higher than Maguire which turned out to be the worst deal but that's another story. I still can't believe they rejected €75m offer from Chelsea! Now I heard that Navas could join Napoli. I mean Donnarumma is a good goalkeeper but Navas is still one of the best, that guy is very underrated unfortunately..

As allways a lot of goals in the first halfs of the bundesliga first round some interesting results so far i did not expect werder bremen to take the lead in their away game against wolfsburg i think a draw is more fair but wolfsburg team are having difficulties creating chances in the second half, things are not looking good for them with 25 minutes to go in this match.
The match between Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg ended with a draw indeed. Wolfsburg secured a point at the end of the game.. In the other matches, I don't see surprises with Mainz, Union, Freiburg winning. M'Gladbach won too vs Hoffenheim, well an early red card reduced chances for Hoffenheim to fight tho. Dortmund - Leverkusen match will start soon. Dortmund are expected to win but obviously it won't be that easy

This is very much unacceptable from Liverpool to start their season with a draw and a big congratulations to Fulham they seem very prepared for the English Premier League. I think all top teams now needs to focus they might be a change in the balance for who wins the league but we still have a lot of matches to be played. Tottenham was the team I was very impressed with after going down and had to come back to secure the win, they are the type of team I can say would do very well.
First games surprises! That was a very bad result in the starting of the season for Liverpool especially vs a club that just came back from Championship.. Losing 2 points will have an impact later vs solid teams this season.. Arsenal won, Spurs too, Chelsea will play later today and ManU / City will have games tomorrow. The other less expected results are Aston Villa and Wolves defeat

Dunno what's wrong with Bayern in its first match. They are trying to prove that they can destroy their rivals easily or they just want to give them depression! Frankfurt 0 - 5 Bayern in the first half! Old Schalke 8 goals to be broken today? Bayern Munich is trying to tell us that we should not expect any competition in Bundesliga this season. It is not an impressive result. 6 goals to 1 in the first game. It looks like the Bayern boys are so much prepared as everybody is scoring goals for the club. There is no Haaland, who will fight for other Bundesliga clubs? That Bayern machine is impressive! Whenever they are fit, they achieve big things. They don't have Lewandowski anymore, instead everyone is scoring! 6 goals to 1 in the first game, 5 players scored these goals, Muller made 2 assists then Sane who replaced him made 1. It is like whether you score or assist there Next game will be vs Wolfsburg, dunno how's their feeling after seeing that destruction of Frankfurt.

Yeah quite low odds but it appears that it might be profitable if Lyon continues like that. In just 23 minutes, Lyon are leading with 2 goals vs 0 for Ajaccio. So far they are controlling the game and chances for Ajaccio to recover are very very low. Almost no attempts to score..
Edit: well Ajaccio scored a penalty. 2-1 after 32 minutes!
Even after the return goal, the odds of Lyon winning are only 1.13. I hope in the second half Lyon will increase their advantage to make their victory more reliable (I added this outcome to my multibet). I would not want some random goal to turn a victory into a draw. This would be extremely strange, especially given that Lyon are playing at home. Honestly, I didn't expect to see Ajaccio scoring today especially in the first half after receiving 2 goals.. I still wonder how Lyon goalkeeper was thinking when he did that weird jump apart from being the first carded player in Ligue 1! It is a simple match for the opening of the Premier League, but based on all leagues, this will be the most important match of the night. Arsenal made quality player transfers this year. They will want to prove how assertive they are in the league by winning the Crystal Palace match. I see Arsenal as the favorites of the match and I want to watch a match where Arsenal go back to their former glory.
It is an important match of course but the best one used to be Bayern vs Frankfurt in Bundesliga until you found out that they are trashing Frankfurt with 5 goals in the first half. For Arsenal they are leading with 1 goal after 30 minutes of the game with Crystal Palace still not fully awake. They should profit from that and score at least another goal.

Lyon vs Ajaccio will be the opening game for this season. It is obvious that the odds are in favour of Lyon @1.36 vs @8.8 for Ajaccio since they just got promoted from Ligue 2.
The fight between the teams who have different mission that Lyon had ambition want to finish at European zone and Ajaccio want to survive in France league and this is last season for Lyon manager Peter Bosz so he will attempts to bringing Lyon had better position this season however about the odds indeed @1.36 is quite low for Lyon but seems this could be easy money because i think Lyon will win the match especially this is home match for them and Lyon quite strong during playing at their home ground Yeah quite low odds but it appears that it might be profitable if Lyon continues like that.

Cesar Azpilicueta has put an end to rumors that he would sign with Barcelona by renewing his contract with Chelsea through 2024.
Azpilicueta has now pledged his future to Chelsea for the next two years. This indicates that Azpilicueta would be close to turning 35 and would have served for 12 years if the contract were to last until 2024. Azpilicueta, who transferred from Marseille to Chelsea in 2012, has won nine significant prizes, including two Premier League championships and the Champions League.
So Barcelona left with Alonso to try to bring, otherwise I see Chelsea willing to spend big, up to €300m to pick new players including de Jong and Aubemayang if possible. This duo rivalry between Chelsea and Barcelona this season is weird. I assume Tuchel is itching every time he heard the word Barca

Lyon vs Ajaccio will be the opening game for this season. It is obvious that the odds are in favour of Lyon @1.36 vs @8.8 for Ajaccio since they just got promoted from Ligue 2. The day after we have two matches, one including PSG and the other having Monaco vs Strasbourg with very close odds around 2.7. I don't expect much surprise for Lyon and PSG although the first rounds are always tricky. For Monaco and Strasbourg it is quite hard to predict the winner.

Now that Robert Lewandowski can no longer score goals at Bayern Munich, many think Bayern will not play a good season. Surely they will not play well at all match days and then many hope that Bayern Munich will not be German champions at the end of the season. But that will not be the case.
I assume Bundesliga followers are split in two groups, Bavaria lovers and the others that just to see any club winning over Bayern even if it isn't their club that did that. Bayern domination is one of the longest one but at least there is Dortmund that is putting some pressure on them. This season will be tough since Bayern level isn't as it used to be theoretically and Dortmund one needs to be evaluated. There is a chance to take Bundesliga title from Bayern this season but could they achieve it?

https://i.imgur.com/58JTgyJ.pngArsenal seem to have spent the most while having the least success. Man United in a similar boat, big spendings without any result. At least for Arsenal, the up coming season is looking promising but I can't say the same about Manchester United. Their fans have been saying that their club have been underspending for years so this should be something good for them. At last their team is serious in challenging for the title is probably what they are thinking hehe. I don't want to keep my hopes up for either of these teams as a neutral. Reality will soon hit and their fantasy will be crushed. Mind you all this spending is to be able to keep Arsenal in good shape and to be able to guarantee as much as possible a place for the CL. This is the first step before trying to overthrow City and Liverpool from the first places. These two teams levels are way better than the others. There is Chelsea that is spending too but to rebuild the team and they need way more to be able to compete them. I don't care much about how much you spend but about from what level you are before spending. For example Barcelona spending is meant to let them fighting for La Liga and Champions League. Arsenal, Chelsea and in a less degree Spurs spending is meant to keep them in a CL spot and why not picking one of the first place in EPL whenever one of the duo fails!

Arsenal are still in the market to for a back up winger to Saka, and a central midfielder who will cover for Xhaka and Partey when they are injured.A name in the person of Tielemans has been mentioned several times, and it looks like Arsenal are ready to do business now with Leicester over the player. If the two should join the gunners,we would say they have had a successful transfer window.
Tielemans contract with Leicester expires in 2023 and they are ready to let him go if Arsenal offers £30m, the player himself accepts to move but Arsenal didn't give a bid yet although ManU is eying him too! It is their fault if he ended up somewhere else..

I'm sure Cristiano Ronaldo will sit on the bench on Sunday when Manchester United host Brington, as Erik ten Hag thinks Ronaldo isn't fit enough to play United's opener at Old Trafford
Any official links regarding this? I dont think its matter though but he is Ronaldo and he is fit enough to play in any games. He might not start as the starting lineup especially on the first game of the season but Ten Hag definitely will play him
Anyway, could we get the discussion in this thread back on track though? Season is starting soon and most discussion in here is still related to transfer issue and stuff, its much better to get this back on track by discussing about the opening game this friday Since some potential transfers turned to a saga then I can't blame people commenting them About CR7, he pissed a lot Ten Hag when he left the stadium before the end of the game. It is like I don't care about you, I am selfish... So I won't be surprised if Ten Hag will let him on the benches or allow him to play for 10 minutes as a punishment.. For EPL games, there is only one match this Friday between Arsenal and Crystal Palace and I think there isn't much to say unless gunners lose it..

Juventus according to rumors will go for Parades from PSG.
The deal will be done if Juventus accepts to give PSG €15m since all the parties agreed on the transfer and the only remaining thing is the price. For Pogba, I read that he refused surgery so he can play in the World Cup which means he will resume playing in mid September, I assume after the international breakup or just 1 match before. If this strategy fails or he takes another injury on it, he will be operated late which means Juve will lose him this season..

Now that they have Lewandovsky on their team, that can make a big difference. He is very experienced and has already won everything with Bayern Munich and has been one of the best strikers in the world in recent years. In fact, he doesn't fit at all with Barcelona because they are no longer a world team. but well, in the competition Real Madrid is demonstrably better, considering last season's result there is hope for Barcelona. I think Barcelona should win especially from the lesser teams at the bottom, Real Madrid don't miss a lot and score on it. barcelona had a lot of trouble with low-ranking teams.
I believe Barcelona will win La Liga title this season. The fluctuating performance last season won't be seen this season imo especially after the restructuration of the team. Real Madrid in the other hand shouldn't miss easy opportunities since every point counts but it is hard to be applied tho.. I don't think low ranking teams will be as effective as previously, instead top teams will make the difference.

Foden will renew his contract with Man City to 2028 with a higher salary obviously according to recent rumours. City wants to recruit also Sergio Gomez and Borna Sosa after Cucurella deal failed and Chelsea picked him. Chelsea still looking for de Jong but also seeking others like Kyle Walker. Meanwhile, Barca willing to offer less than €10m for Azpilicueta and the same price for Marcos Alonso. It is like a loop here

After i was watching yesterday the DFB Cup game from Frankfurt against Magdeburg i guess we see a more better Frankfurt as we have seen last season. The playing is very good even they won this match , Magdeburg has played very well also and i think we will hear more from them in the second league. After Leverkusen got kicked out of the Cup they are already a little bit under pressure i guess. Cant wait for that the season is starting on the coming weekend.
Leverkusen, Hertha and Koln got kicked quickly from the DFB-Pokal and of course Leverkusen was the most shocking one vs a team from the 3rd league... Union had a tough game vs a team playing in the regional league! Anyway DFB-Pokal games are always like that, sometimes bigger teams don't take it very serious and end up by being eliminated. Otherwise for Frankfurt, we will see their real performance in 2 days vs Bayern
