2862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Incent: The first universal, merchant-backed loyalty platform on: November 21, 2016, 10:03:32 PM
Why is this thread so active when Coval which has already developed this stuff is a ghost town?

Quick buck ICO?
No, not at all. We have a different approach: We not only want to make loyalty programs more efficient and cheaper (which mostly benefits the business) but fully rethink how loyalty programs are constructed. With Incent, customers will enjoy open value meaning they can redeem their reward in the whole Incent network. Furthermore, they are free to sell their reward in the secondary market or transfer them to someone else. Last but not least, Incent tokens don't have an expiry date; users can simply save their Incent for as long as they wish and maybe even make a capital gain due to a price increase.

I'd suggest you to read our whitepaper instead of accusing us of being a 'Quick buck ICO' with your first post in this topic.
Karl you can update my rank into the Full member now. Wink
2863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best cryptocurrency to invest for 2017 ? on: November 21, 2016, 02:35:49 PM
99.9% of the ICOs are SCAM. The main reasons we are seeing 5 new ICOs everyday is because of lack of regulation in crypto & much free coins from old time, laptop miners you know.
And Alex Van de Sande had made it enough easiest with some of their tutorial about building the own crypto based on ether. That was becoming a plague of the cryptocurrency.
May you need for correcting again about one of my examples.

2864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zcash under botnet!? on: November 21, 2016, 02:23:41 PM
I don't know what people expected here. Do you honestly thought that $1300+ price per token is gonna stay?
ZCash is altcoin with slow start, which means with time block reward will increase (instead of decreasing like BTC) and that will additionally decrease value of coin.
Slow start + only GPU, CPU mining is the design of Zcash. Of course that people would be exploiting this.
This shit totally was becoming a shit soon. Are you think there is some wish or chance for them get pump over one btc again?
If you don't think about healing itself back to the worth over 1 btc each, and I don't either.
2865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: November 10, 2016, 02:06:01 PM
Zcash did it much better then i expected, i have fun mining it whit my big rig and in the cloud.
Which cloud miner did u buy your hash power from? I used all the 3...

a. www.Genesis-Mining.com

b. www.Zcash-Miner.com

c. www.ZeroPond.com

I'd have on good profit by now unless ZeroPond.com so drastically failed to deliver. They had the highest cost and delivered the worst of the lot.

A  www.Genesis-Mining.com, and i have a view rigs running as well.

RocketPie, can you make a comparison video? or review on this site? Love to see that!
In my eyes this just like advertising those site for others. how about the genesis mining in this day? are really can payback someone's ROI if investing in there?
2866  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What would be your recommendations when trading crypto? on: November 10, 2016, 01:58:47 PM
Even though, I've been several years buying, selling and even holding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies there is one thing that I need to master yet and that is the ability to trade effectively any crypto in order to maximize profits.

Since crypto is highly volatile (especially alt coins), there is a good chance to make decent profit via trading.

Any good recommendations or resources that you could recommend me in order to trade cryptocurrencies effectively? (books, or any other resource)

I know one key rule which is buy low, and sell high but most of the times I end up loosing more than what I have invested initially instead of maximizing profits.  Smiley
actually to make trading in crypto is a risky work because most of the people usually get losses on crypto trading .
but i will suggest for only bitcoin trading .
as we know the price at different exchange are different so we can transfer our btc into and doller into btc to get profit from one exchange to another .
( be careful use this stretgy when btc rate are at high difference between the two exchange )

The method you are pertaining must be the " Arbitrade Method" wherein you will buy low in the other site then you will sell it in another site where the price is high.

But it is risky because not all trading sites are legit. So if you are going to use that method. Make sure the sites you are trading is a legit one to prevent loosing from trading crypto.
No, it's so bad, and will not giving a different gap in the price. and if that's really good idead and why a lot of people are not doing that rather than just using any exchange for trade their bitcoin?
I would strongly for refusing for using it and just choosing one reliable and best for me. and it's also no friendly with the tax for every transaction and how many you will make your transaction in a day?
It's very useless in my mind.
Even at the time for waiting your transaction the rate of bitcoin can going down below of the previous exchange site.
2867  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have you seen the news about this mining farm? on: November 08, 2016, 09:56:20 AM
Settle down.  Nowhere is there anything saying this is a giant Bitcoin mining center.
Thanks for representing my curious feels.
It is described as a "data center".  Presumably there are lots of users of different types including crypto currency miners.
But at first, I don't think if that is fully for mining, In my mind "are the mining activities included in the computing activities?"
Are you mean there are a lot of the activities besides of mining in there?

You do realize that even if 20% of its capacity are using for mining, it would become of the world's largest mining farms/pools?
I doubtful for that.

2869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange markets for altcoin on: November 02, 2016, 02:55:11 PM
1) Go to kraken and deposit USD|EUR
2) Buy bitcoins on kraken
3) Withdraw your bitcoins from kraken to Poloniex (biggest altcoins volume market)

When you want to cash-out :

4) Sell all your altcoins on Poloniex for bitcoins
5) Withdraw your bitcoins from poloniex to kraken
6) Sell your bitcoins on kraken
7) Withdraws your $$ from kraken

thank you,

i did deposit euro with Kraken, now the question is:
how can i avoid keeping my money/bitcoin  etc in these online exchange markets as i have seen that they are not that secure.
Is there a way to trade on poloniex but still keep my bitcoin in my own wallet?
or how a good/safe trading procedure would look like (broken down on steps) considerint that now i have  euro on kraken. how to i get to trade on poloniex but keep the bitcoin/altcoin safe
and yeah..

how do you keep your other altcoins safe?(avoiding online wallets)

Downloading your electrum and make a schedule for yourself about for sending back your amount into your offline wallet, that's the best option in this time for keep your money are safe. there is no other's way. if you are already sending your amount into the online wallet and it's mean you already trust your amount for the 3rd parties.
2870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin ATM going to affect bitcoin? on: November 02, 2016, 02:43:02 PM
I am wondering if there are a lot of bitcoin ATM spread around in your country, how will it affect to bitcoin, will it attract more user, will it boost bitcoin reputation, or will it provoke the government for banned the coin? because as we know bitcoin also give freedom to money laundry, and other illegal transaction
For you know about some important thing we should be remember with this.
all of the reason already mentioned by you in your thread are exactly true. but knowing about some reaction of the goverment.
It's not about the money laundry, but for you know some bank institution are officially under the govermnet's control and this be the huge field for them charging a tax for their civilians, through the loans, trans service and etc. and they will involving about bitcoin are threatend one of their source income, even the bitcoin atm are get more spreading with more exact amount and this will gave a high threatened for the govermnet. and the chance will trying for strict the civilians will so high with the military power, goverment can do anything they want. and the word of banning bitcoin will come true.
2871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of Banning Bitcoin ? on: November 02, 2016, 02:34:04 PM
Some are say bitcoin get ban from some countries and said if that is will give a lot of negative feedback for disturbing the spreading of bitcoin, and it's wrong, i should rather say if some countries are alread making any statement for banning bitcoin are starting for pull their statement and throw them into the trash. In this time with involving with a lot of the potential are showed by bitcoin are changing their mind into the open minded about the crypto currency. In fact this so easy the time just can answering about this and too many people are starting for be apanice caused by this before.
2872  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: used btc miner on: November 01, 2016, 02:06:32 PM
Ive seen some offers on ebay an online shops where people are selling used miners. Now, i was never into mining (with rigs), only small alt-coins but I like to know if investing in some used lower/medium poweer miners is worth anything? Or should I try to collect money and invest into a new one?
If you're wanna for investing in the lower or medium capacity of mining rig, totally it's depending with what the coins are you interested with?
different coin will be different difficulty, if you're talking about for using the second hand mining rig, i can say that is already some old comparing with the new one in this time, the hash rate will be different, and if we could comparing the both are the new will having more hashrate because that's a new tools with improved hardware.just like this if we are using the second hand mining rig with lower electricity or power, and for each can producing 20H/s and if you're wanna for using the another new one with high electricity with 40H/s totally the two old are better than new one because more cheap on their electricity, but you need for taking a more time for choosing the best one for buying from the second hand especially about the endurance of the mining rig. and especially about asic is can't for mining all of the alt coin. like ETH will never be recomending for using ASIC but GPU are more preferable.
2873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: October 27, 2016, 07:00:42 AM
thanks a lot guys for your awesome and most valuable answers. I am really grateful to you all. now i come to know the full list of advantages of bitcoin. now here's the compiled note from all the replies

1) Bitcoin Can Be Transferred From One Country To Any Part of the World Within a Second
2. it have very less transaction charge, almost negligible charge
3.No Organization Or Government Have Control Over Bitcoin
4. bitcoin have advantages in security and accountability.
5. It uses blockchain technology which shares the same advantages.
6. Bitcoin is  fast
7.  it's decentralized.
8. The transactions don't take that much time in normal cases.
9. There's not that much effort too if you're sending Bitcoins.
10.   Bitcoin known as it's anonymity.
11. It's hard to trace the sender and the receiver.

still more advantages? please post here

This is the reasons why I prefer bitcoin than paypal, Paypal is not anonymously used, Paypal has a very high transaction fee too. Thats why I start using bitcoin cause bitcoin has many advantages than paypal. Paypal has advantages too. like many sites, Banks and shops are accepting bitcoin as their payments

Paypal do  have    really some    advantage  compared to  bitcoin  because  its being regulated and legal  thus  we could somehow  assure some  security regarding  on  legit transactions because  you would really able to  know  to whom are you  transacting with  but the  problem  here is   on its fees  which  would really   charge you  high and   somehow frustrating  in using their  service that's  why  bitcoin have  lots   of  advantages  over  it, fees, transfer times, anonymity, accessibility, more security.
You're right if the payapal are having some advantages rather than bitcoin but in comparing the paypal fees and with the bitcoin fees, we will need for remember again if bitcoin are not company and for we know if bitcoin are not having a lot of workers like a paypal and that's why the fees are soo high caused by the operation fees of paypal are so high too.
2874  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be a good bitcoin investor to prevent scammed on: October 27, 2016, 06:46:22 AM
In November 6, I want to Invest bitcoin.
I will post it in this forum.
But some comment not to invest because they not trusted, why?
I will continue it or not
It's caused by some of your points are reffered into the related scam investment place. and that's why a lot of the another comment will preventing you for investing in those site for avoiding lost your money anytime. you need for learning more from there and especially from the beginner and help section, because a lot of the people are already said about this over 5times in my eyes. and i guess you need for recorrecting all of your points again.
2875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Business To Create? on: October 25, 2016, 05:56:05 AM
There are some criteria in my ming we should for considering about that,
1. Will minimizing the risk in your business.
2. It's not easy get expired it's means the business are not gonna be a short term,
3. Can supporting the universally characteristic, it's mean can be a globally and that's will affecting your business can be more and more everytime.
4. There is a no of competition or just a little, will making a more chance for you for reaching your goal on your business
5. Every time and every second there are a people are always need your business or service.

And I just preferring into as for as the exchanger site/trading site, seems like it's can be a globally and a lot of people in the world anbd especially for thebitcoiners are always need it. and i would wanna say if you can developing your service with a new ideas or system or trying for making a new breakthrough.
2876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What software companies should accept Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2016, 06:48:46 AM
What I want? I don't know, I'm using the same browser for years(10+), isn't a popular software, maybe with some donations they can grow more... But I think they receive some money from ads(start page, etc)

# WinRAR

Hahahahahah WinRAR, the free trial forever! They already accept bitcoin as donation or to upgrade it?
WinRAR is the real MVP!

Well, you could always switch to "Brave" ... They are going to reward people with Bitcoin for browsing Ad free with their browser.... well,

actually they will push ads to you, but you would have approved of these Ads in advance. I cut my compression teeth on WinRAR and

Pkzip, and would gladly support them with a few donations, if they just accepted Bitcoin.  Grin
For using brave browser seems very complicated for me, but mostly the software are used by a lot of people in here are not going for supporting bitcoin. My daily software like chrome, and the another are not supporting bitcoin payment especially like a music software are generally never heard about accepting bitcoin, and i just could for defining if bitcoin are not a popular in the world of the software. 2877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Altcoins can never replace FIAT ! on: October 21, 2016, 02:05:32 AM
I will start off with one of many reasons why (i have posted since 2013)

The biggest problem i see with a digital currency is.. that it's digital  Cheesy

The fact is if we see a huge part of the world in a black-out with no electricity..
then we will see crypto coins as neutered and useless.

This is in fact a very real possibility certainty.
I have seen countless scientists many from NASA say for 20 years this WILL happen and it's a matter of when not if.
So what are you going to do then ?

Since day one when i got into this stuff i have warned users abut this.
I have warned them that something should have been done to account for this risk.
Not sure what you CAN do though.

There is many reasons why crypto-coins can not replace FIAT.
I will post another reason or two later Wink
Oh you got my point, I never using my crypto coin if the elctricity in my house is dead. i'm not a naive persone or the crypto fanatic but this is a re very true in my mind. like saving the coin in my phone and if my battery is got empty and i can't do anything with my coin and this si a reality.
In fact the gold is always be a king and the paper money is always be a queen.
2878  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you should consider investing in bitcoin on: October 20, 2016, 01:52:47 AM
During the last couple of months, bitcoin has had numerous ups and downs, yet the number of total investors has increased exponentially. Judging by this practice, it seems like there is a clear demand for the digital currency.
Read further: https://www.crypto-news.net/why-you-should-consider-investing-in-bitcoin/
I just wanna for considering about the potentially of bitcoin in this day comparing with the another place. looks like bitcoin is more than others. and about the trend of the tech payment are gone be a globally in the future and that is a big factor can push the potentially of bitcoin. and especially like the various task and charge in bitcoin are better if we are wanna for saving our amount. totally a lot of factor are supporting me for investing in bitcoin in this day.
2879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a revolutionary currency but a fairly inefficient payment network on: October 19, 2016, 02:06:32 AM
Yes, bitcoin is a near perfect currency on the on-chain settlement layer but very inneficient as payment network, since it can't scale on-network, therefore it will need offchain solutions like lightning network and such.

franky1 incoming in 5....4....3....2....1.....
Seriously i'm a franky's fans.  Cheesy he is very active users with good statement and suggestion.

That's right i agree with you. just like the confirmation and unable for using a zero transaction caused by the double spending are preventing the bitcoin could be a efficient payment network. and just hoping the LN will resolving the problem and making the bitcoin be the efficient currency in the future. but we need a lot of the developer are wanna making a new ideas for bitcoin. Cool
2880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be blocked too by the government or isp ?? on: October 19, 2016, 02:02:36 AM
Recently many file sharing sites and torrents had been banned in my country to stop piracy.

Is there a way that the government or the isp may block the connection to bitcoin network by its users ??
That's right the goverment just be able for blocking the bitcoin through the IP, in this time that is referring into the bitcoin'site and not for the bitcoin currency. but it's just useless step for the goverment and isp for blocking bitcoin. according from the a lot of the various vpn are offering a good service in this day for passing a block and like using a tor network. goverment and isp just wasting a lot of their time for doing a sueless things.
