So, here are my questions:

Am I on DT?
Am I an admin?
Did I actually ask for money to be paid to myself?
Does anybody care about my tag on other people while I'm not a DT member?
Do people submit to the wills of non-DT members just because of the red tags?
Did anyone pay any money to me or even to the forum for that matter?

According to your own logic, why would you consider my action as untrustworthy while all I was trying to achieve was to try and help this forum to the best of my ability, I have said it multiple times that what I was doing is for helping the community and the forum.

What we need is for DT2 members to remove their red tags on low level bounty cheaters under the condition of reporting accurately. just like when prisoners work their asses inside the prisons to redeem themselves.

Which side is that? I'd invite any forum member to look at my posts on this thread and decide. if they think that I am wrong, they should say it, but why they would think that I am wrong?

I never asked for money for myself, was it wrong to ask for money for this forum? OK I stopped saying that, but actmyname tagged me based on the Timelord2067 red trust after marlboroza already changed his tag on me for the same reason as actmyname's tag on me.

I'd suggest to contact DT1 member who has included him on DT2, oh wait you can't do that because they are both the same person.
Here is the thing:

In this forum you need to earn the trust of already reputable members> DT1-2 members.
How could you do that?
Here is how:
You need to earn their trust by trading with them or by helping them > tagging people red for cheating in bounties, scamming etc.
Their trust or distrust is also visible by default and only their ratings matters, meaning if you help and trade with non-DT1-2 members, you are not trustworthy by default trust settings.

So you are left alone and untrustworthy if you don't earn the trust of DT1-2 members. OK.
Now DT1-2 members have proven themselves to the community to be trustworthy, therefore the community would deem their ratings as trustworthy by default. OK.

Here is the problem:
What happens if DT1-2 members make a mistake or try to settle personal quarrels with normal forum members by using their trusted ratings?
Answer to that question is:
Nothing would happen if you are not trusted by other DT1-2 members so that they could leave you a positive feedback to counter the negatives.
How would you earn the trust of those other DT1-2 members?
You would do trade with them, you would help them by tagging scammers and cheaters.

What is the problem here:
The problem is that people here have alt accounts and they could abuse the system, the problem is that there are factions doing whatever they want while they are doing entirely different things, all of them are trusted by one person> theymos a.k.a admin.

Do you see the contradiction now? theymos trusts DT1 members but some of the DT1 members say that they trust theymos but they would act completely opposite.
Where is the problem here?:
The problem is that there is no one common standard, there is only cartel-like operations running deep inside this community.

About this case, I believe that the red tag is well deserved. you asked to act as escrow in a community where only the trusted people could act as escrow, the same DT1-2 members. therefore the tag is legit.

I like it how you are quite about my case and would jump in to defend DT2 members when somebody else is accusing them. I might reconsider thinking you as a trusted forum member. you are not neutral and would stay silent when DT2 members are harassing me here.

I know that when I talk about things that you don't like I would be the retard, let me dumb it down. dealing with DT members in hopes of receiving positive trust is farming trust. since people have several alt accounts, they could also give their own accounts positive trust or better yet if they have a DT1 account, they could add their own alt accounts on DT2. leaving positive trust with no reference is equal to scamming. let me explain why. imagine a DT1-2 member has left positive trust on people with no reference, so far everything is OK, we could say that we should trust that DT1-2 member, then a DT2 member would tag somebody red just because that DT2 member is a bully and the same DT1-2 member whom we were trusting before wouldn't give a fuck about the actions of that bully DT2 member. that means DT1-2 member is no longer trusted and nobody should trust his/her positive feedbacks with no reference. why?

Because that DT1-2 member doesn't care about others and would only want us to trust his/her words. that is untrustworthy behavior and anybody acting that way should not be trusted.

Mutual selection. then if those 3 reputable members lie, people would see and they would lose their reputation if they lie or misjudge.

However it doesn't matter if the OP doesn't trust Vod or tag him red, what matters is that Vod could distrust the OP and tag him red for everybody to see. if this continues then people would stop trusting DT2 tags. we need to tag people if they are really trying to scam. bidding in own auction is a form of scamming IMO.


So is it OK to inflict damage on other people's reputation just because a DT2 member is a good guy and has helped the forum? you could say that is OK if somebody had several accounts but what if somebody is only using one account? I'd say that Vod should tag the OP for bidding on his own auction and not for anything else.


What do you see to be wrong about that? I see Vod with an unfair advantage over the OP, let Vod to be the only one with power, I'm sure there will be no abuse when you empower a few over everybody else. <sarcasm>

90% of Bitcointalk members are cheating in signature campaigns and bounties. we all know that. that was just my opinion. I have nothing against you or coinlocket.
I think theymos could make anybody a merit source and DT2 members could also tag merit sources if they turn out to be misusing their source merits.

DT members are moderators of trust system. they say that trust is not moderated but DT members are moderating it individually without following any common rule, guideline.

Default trust ratings shouldn't rely on individual opinions, that would be the definition of moderating the trust system directly. administration has given the absolute power to DT members and they wouldn't care if DT members are using their power as a personal tool to dictate their own agendas.

What would happen to a DT2 member if they bully others and if they abuse their power? nothing would happen not unless somebody in a position of power steps in. but somebody in a position of power is not doing anything about it, so DT2 members would think that what they are doing is right.
They will continue to operate like this and nobody would stop them, because nobody actually cares.

About this case: Vod should tag you for bidding on your own auction and not because he doesn't trust you. did you bid on your auction with your main account? who does that anyways?

Number 4 is about cheaters in bounties and airdrops. we already have a detective named Timelord2067 who is also a sexcoin fan. 

I don't think anything related to bounties and airdrops are meritable. I'd suggest you to reconsider some of your quotes.

Nice to see that the usual cartel members are present here as always. now we know why people want to get into DT list, they want the trust. therefore they are farming trust.
Note that receiving positive trust from DT members after making some deals with them is equal to trust farming. their ratings are visible by default.
Note again that I think 1 person shouldn't manage an unlimited number of participants unless they are superman.

Lack of reports to the moderators and lack of moderators. best course of action is to charge a fee to enable the signatures globally.

Then if I see that you have made a mistake, I'd give you as many chances as you'd need and would help you to improve yourself. there are some DT2 member who'd tag people and would say that they are not going to change their tag under any circumstances. I'm not like that and I would fix any mistakes.

I believe this is the right path I am on.

Note that I am not a DT member, they are chosen based on the level of trust DT1 members have in them. and DT1 members are chosen based on the trust theymos has in them. so whatever DT1-2 members are doing it would lead back to theymos whether it's bad or good. they know this and they are doing their own rogue operations regardless.

Then if they are guilty, there is nothing to be worried about right? I want you to be sure if you are accusing people. this is internet and I would gladly remove any tag on people if I see that I have made a mistake and would apologize to them.

I want to rely on your words only, to avoid wasting my time I would tag them based on your words, you should think about the consequences of your actions, this is serious as you have posted links to other people's profiles.

Given enough time, nobody would accuse other people because of the fear of getting tagged themselves. is that a good reason or not?
