2861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: April 15, 2021, 01:49:02 PM
It wasn't so far away but in the end, Liverpool could not score anything but Real also had close chances (made possible because Liverpool left so much space open in an attempt to win the game). It was a very entertaining match nevertheless,,, sorry to see Real go through instead, Liverpool deserved to win with the way they played!

Games are always quite late for me but I will try to catch tonight:)

Will check out the 2 new promos from jeremypwrs, thank you so much!
2862  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience with Trading Bots on: April 15, 2021, 01:19:25 PM
There are a lot of trading bots as of the moment, some got different features and different prices.

I saw some trading bots advertised here in the forum, especially the Gunbot. I know @crwth can help you with Gunbot, which I recalled he already tried using Gunbot before, he got a thread about using it and got a journal using that trading bot.

For OP, if you are new in trading, I highly suggested studying first the basics or cores of trading before using such tools or trading bots to automate your trading.

Gunbot is still the most reputable in the industry I think but people forget that using a bot is only about automating strategies,,, not about making easy money. I think the next step now is for bots to be used in defi platforms (apparently they already are), scalping cheap prices between LPs and making swaps all the time for small gains.

Oh boy I can tell you, and the worst is when alcohol is involved Cheesy Have been to Vegas a couple of times, started out super disciplined, ended up wasted and completely broke for the night Cheesy Alcohol is a game changer in the most negative sense in gambling.

You can mention this again! Gambling already has a way to play with our psychology when we are sober,,, much less to say when our minds are all muddled up with a bit of tipsy drinking. But I really hate drunk gamblers the most, they are angry when they win and even angrier when they lose puff!

Chinese New Year family get togethers over mahjong. That is the worst;)
2864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 15, 2021, 11:13:55 AM
ETH devs have failed to provide a solution for scaling in 5 years. They've simply failed and now they need to deal with more competent competitors. If ETH fees go to $1 tomorrow, they'd still have a very significant challenge.

ETH fees are more likely to decrease because people stop using it than ETH devs do something innovative for scaling.

Perhaps this is true but only in the case of defi,,, more people moving to other less expensive platforms but the big whales still know their LPs are doing well with volume. Hard fork for ETH happening soon, first Berlin and then London. ETH 2.0 is definitely coming and I think a lot of stakers are patiently waiting for this now.
2865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: April 15, 2021, 09:39:48 AM
The first target will be to hit that 2$ mark and then to create its ATH. Then the next target will follow for me. But its the patience of all the XRP holders which are finally getting to see the light. Because form last 2 years this coins has just fallen and never thought would rise back again. So yes now the time for XRP has finally come to rise.

Seems like a tough task right now, but only natural for the pull back to happen right now after over 100% gains in past week,,, I believe this is not just the patience but also the XRP army,,, you can see plenty of them on CT actually! Now the excitement will be really on with XRP getting back listed on some exchanges including Coinbase I guess?
2866  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - New Community Chat feature on site now!! 🚀 on: April 15, 2021, 09:01:40 AM
Europa League, who else to back but Arsenal right guys? My own team is out and out, so there is no one left for me to back except Sportsbet's partner team:)

This Alexis Young guy made me laugh so much with his lies that he spent $500,000 in sportsbet website and in same time he is offering rigged matches to other forum members and spamming in forum for for some hamburger money lost Smiley

In this forum I believe we have seen many people come and go offering rigged games. I think their threads are deleted and even trust gone for that,,, we all know there is no such thing that a person who knows rigged games will ask for payment. And just bet on it themselves:)
2867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 15, 2021, 07:35:30 AM
Impossible night to win any tickets in UCL and I think today won't be different but let me give you an advice : Liverpool won't manage to qualify further! I've already made my predictions some time ago and I said that PSG-Real will be the final , with PSG winning. Last week , most of my friends laughed at me for picking PSG ...guess who's laughing now:)). So yea, tricky games in UCL and low odds ...pick wisely.

Looks like you were right after all. Do you really think PSG can meet Real in the final? If so, I think they will win it. Real Madrid are a strong team even with all the injuries but they were very lucky to progress and not lose at Anfield.

In fact,,, the same for PSG lucky to progress even though I would say they were the lesser team in both legs against Bayern.
2868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Price Prediction on: April 15, 2021, 07:03:10 AM
I still always see DOGE as a coin you trade against BTC and that is why 120 satoshi price now still makes it "expensive" to buy. Only fiat value is tied to BTC is the reason I say this,,, which actually makes DOGE really a good bargain for those looking at "small" yet "potential" alts.
Right now dogecoin is trading above 200 satoshi; probably it is still remaining one of potential altcoins to buy and hold for big targets. I am sure there are enough promotions are going on in favor of dogecoins which are definitely triggering more hype in coming days which might be taking dogecoins into new levels most probably, who knows? Someone predicted about 1000 satoshi for one dgecoin in long run; I was not taking that seriously but now I started to think about it in long run.

Still sticking with my 120 being too high,,, as proven by the sudden spike and then fall back;) Believe me I do think it is here to stay for a long time but with BTC making new ATHs all the time I find it very hard to buy DOGE instead of BTC at these prices!

1000 satoshi doge? Not if BTC hits 100k! That would mean $1 Doge;)
2869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW is safe? on: April 15, 2021, 05:57:37 AM
Dont have any problems on using MEW since ive been using this through ages. As long you do know;

-Keep those keys out of others awareness
-Dont tend to leak it out via downloading randomly in the net which would result into malware.
-Dont rely on google search results- you might get phished.
-Always ask out if there is some hesitation towards your decision.

Wallet could really be safe if you are really that sensible and responsible.

This is exactly what I was pointing out in my response yesterday and people need to understand this when using anything online,,, not just a crypto wallet. The cryptography and security of the blockchain has not been hackable yet. At least not for ETH and not for BTC.

But if you have very poor security as a user online (Google search is the worst habit of all),,, then you always get hacked.
2870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ATH - those responsible. on: April 15, 2021, 05:17:00 AM
The reason we got ATH is more fundamental rather than short squeeze.

I agree here,,, the short squeeze actually has not really started yet,,, only just begun;)

Just looking at the technical analysis of the past few months, which many said was going to be looking like BTC had done with its journey upwards, ignored the technical analysis of the past few years. Stock to flow model also proves it, the price appreciation is just a lot more to do with long term supply-demand fundamentals:)
2871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW is safe? on: April 14, 2021, 01:40:38 PM
MEW is safe,,, people who run into trouble with it usually have compromised browsers then any app you use especially web ones are basically all leaking your password.

Never tried the app itself now am just stuck on Metamask extensions. The easiest thing to use and I do not see why anyone would change.

But question is answered. MEW is safe as it gets.
2872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Price Prediction on: April 14, 2021, 01:00:13 PM
would you move to another coin if it doesn't drop to $0.09 later?

it sounded already that you have sold at $0.11 and you have planned to buy back at $0.09. there was strong support in around 0.04 before it shoots to where it is now. tried trading doge with small capital to play with the market so i'm going to wait for another week to see if doge falls back to its support when it couldn't break the $0.12.

Believe in the meme? I would rather believe in Bitcoin!
2873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free transactions: What's the catch? on: April 14, 2021, 10:49:35 AM
I think some networks use free transactions but because it does not cost them anything more than they are already doing to validate as nodes/validators. They usually fix the fee to something small later with utility.

The catch can also be centralization or not enough distributed nodes (all nodes in one hand).
2874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 14, 2021, 10:08:19 AM
They put bayern as favorite for the second leg tonight but if you look at the odds on who will advance into the semifinal than you can see that PSG is the clear favorite here, which of course is no surprise given the result of the first leg.
I have to say though that i can easily imagine bayern to score 3 or 4 goals tonight because they have so much quality in the offense that they can score that amount of goals against pretty much every team. They need to be way more efficient than in the first leg with their goal scoring of course because that inefficiency brought them into this bad position in the first place.
Another main factor will be the quite shaky defense of bayern this season, but if they manage to only concede one goal at max than everything is possible.

I guess the wise bets would have been on Bayern to win but PSG to progress. That would have been almost 3x win I think?

Using this logic,,, should bet on Liverpool to win 2x plus Real to progress 1.5x for another 3x bet?

Real might even win and 3x plus 1.5x is 4.5x win:)

So many permutations!
2875  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - New Community Chat feature on site now!! 🚀 on: April 14, 2021, 08:31:05 AM
Alexis my god,,, you do realize that you broke the rules, and yet the site has given you your funds. And you kept screaming unwarranted accusations on a trustworthy thread despite the people trying their best to help you (no other site will do this).

You were not forced to do what you did,,, You panicked and became rude. But hope you learn your lesson now and be patient in future (and read rules and conditions of deposit maybe?). Reported posts for spam but it would be nice of you to delete them.
2876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: April 14, 2021, 07:50:38 AM
(...)
$5 is still too far away, beware!

Only barely 200% away...
 Grin

Yeeeees, i was more like 220% when I was thinking of it,,, heheh,,, and yes right now it is very close to $2 already so okay, we might as well say now it grows 150% and it goes to $5.

But it ALREADY is a huge 150% gain since the start of the month,,, seems just very crazy and unsustainable, but I guess XRP just likes to defy the odds and logic:)
2877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season ending in may ? on: April 14, 2021, 07:17:23 AM
I won't be surprised if the altcoin season ends this month itself. The current rally is not sustainable. I don't have any issue with coins such as BNB, DOT and ETH (BNB looks a bit overpriced though). But due to the hype, shitcoins such as XRP and DOGE has also gone up by 20x or 30x during the last few months. And many of the shitcoins have gone up even more than Bitcoin in terms of percentage. Right now the altcoin market is looking like a hyperinflated bubble.

BNB definitely looks overpriced,,, all it is used for now is defi or whatever farming yields or whatever on Pancake and a few other platforms like it. Basically just fancy ICOs with staking and earning.

So definitely, everything is hot and overheated right now!
2878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 14, 2021, 05:53:41 AM
Sometimes it is not greed though but also a fear to lose more. Chasing losses as they say, so this is very different from greed where the motivation is to make more profit. Many more players lose because they want to chase back their losses thinking, I have already lost so much,,, surely my good fortune must be just around the corner? They forget that random probability has no memory.
My experience gambling is probably almost the same as many other people here. I can win the bet one day and lose the same day because I can't quit. To be honest, gambling greed is really hard to deal with because I really want to win more. Yet if you think about it, that greed can bring havoc, which in the end can eat up everything we have won.

Gambling required good control, emotional management and realistic target. When gambling activities can be arranged with a good initial planning, it is still possible for us to get wins that will not run out on the same day.

Yes,,, of course I understand this, I am a gambler. We all want to win and win as much as possible, but all I am saying is that on one side, we get profits and want to grow it more (that is greed). But we generally also lose more because we want to chase our losses. The panic is usually more on the side of loss (we already lost a lot and want to reduce the loss). That is fear more than greed:)
2879  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A little sad story on: April 14, 2021, 05:18:55 AM
Hey,,, that is not really a sad story. It was free money.

Imagine getting 100++ BNB a few years ago and selling all of it for BTC to buy a shitcoin investment that all together today is only worth less than the fee it would take to transfer it to Binance.

100 BNB = 60000 today.

That is a true story,,, no need to guess who it happened to:)
2880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 13, 2021, 06:27:18 PM
The problem that often occurs for most gamblers is because they don't realize that greed is what drove them to loss. Therefore I agree that
the most important thing in playing gambling is how to control our greed. Because this is what triggers a loss initially to spend all the capital
you have, only to get a win when playing gambling.
