Bitcoin is not at $28k it is currently at 23k USD and nobody is able to say it won't drop below that level. $20k and underneath are likely to be reached in the coming days. And no I am not able to say if BTC will manage to make a new ATH in the coming years. Its supply is not "reduced" by halvings, it simply grows less quickly.
2862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I missed the boat is not new concept.. on: June 13, 2022, 10:46:39 AM
I'm sorry but where have you seen that late 2017 newcomers have gained "more than 4x"(sic) times their initial investment?
Firstly, BTC has never reached $80 000 to date, so no $20k buyer has been able to earn 4x times his initial investment...
But more seriously, most of them have certainly sold their bag several years ago yet, and are in loss of course. So saying the main risk is not to have any bitcoin in future to a newbie is not responsible. No asset on earth is able to grow endlessly, thinking like that is just being survivorship biased.
Actually what i was referring to 2017 crash when bitcoin prices fell below $10k also to the bottom levels and or even lower have gained enough at this time if they have hold till this time as at current we are at $64k so just make the returns.

Second when i said about $20k the rise is about 3.45x and i want to write about it but forgot to mention approximately with it because we have seen peak points at $69k in last rally so from $20k it's around that much returns so my point.
You have opened this thread to encourage "newbies" to buy Bitcoin at its ATH with surprising arguments. Do you still think it was a good idea now? As I said to you it's not responsible to incite any beginners to buy a highly volatile (and then highly risky) asset at its ATH. I hope they didn't listen to you, and they read what I wrote and thought about it before doing anything wrong.

Why would you like to tag bookmakers? By the time you register on the gambling platform, you are agreeing to their Terms of Service. If you violate any of the points of the rules, your account may be blocked. If the casino or bookmaker works with the rules, there's nothing you can do. Limits can be changed by the bookmaker whenever he wants and there is nothing you can do about it, because they have the right to do so according to their rules, to which you agreed.
Your post is weird bro. I don't know if you are a scammer accomplice or just a spammer but you are not a gambler for sure, otherwise you wouldn't care more of casinos than customers. According to you casinos have the right to do whatever they want but customers shouldn't have the right to complain, and even to tag them? Why they wouldn't have this right I don't understand? Casinos have to respect their Terms of Service, the laws, the norms, the ethics and to stay honest and professional toward their customers, if not, customers are free to retaliate to get justice.
BTW where you have seen in their ToS they are free to discriminate users and changing their limits as they want? Could you post ToS where you have seen that please? I'm curious.

It's sad and disappointing but it's true unfortunately. I don't know if restricting betting limits to winner accounts desserve a tag because it's not unusual from sportsbooks but locking funds of winners without notice definitely desserve one IMO.
2869  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: June 12, 2022, 09:50:06 PM
Onchain gambling is gone, it was one of the first ways to gamble our bitcoins... The casinos used to be totally anonymous, to the point where you don't have to create an account on the casino to place a bet. And that was what I call freedom.

When I join to this crypto world in 2014, there use to be 2 casinos with this feature, their name was Lucky bit and Satoshi Bones. And their games have a unique address where you can send your coins and get back to the bet result to the address where the bet comes from. That was how they didn't ask for an account to place a bet.

Those engines were provably fair, and the max wins were up to 100BTC in lucky bit (in that time BTC was at $500 approx) but still huge.

The new casinos are crazy with their KYC rules and customer support. They hold users' money as if they were the owners of the money, and you can find all the same slots games bringing a lack of original and probably fair games.

Maybe regulation brings us to the current situation, but in the past was funnier, fair, and legit. And that's why I miss the old onchain gambling.

Do you remember those old casinos, and what are your thoughts about the current gaming sites compared with the old ones?
I agree with you, and I would add they lock customer funds and scam them if they win too much(they don't bother when they lose their money at them). But it seems the freebitcoin and Dplay teams are trying a new fully decentralized and non custodial casino where all will be done onchain, thanks to xfun.
2870  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which sportbooks allow winners on: June 12, 2022, 09:42:41 PM
I've read some sites restricting users during the time of withdrawal, but no platform restrict users just because they've won. Every gambling platform have got limitations on the minimum and the maximum bet. One can play according to that and if someone is restricting then it is like missing opportunity, because the availability of more number of sportsbook will attract users towards it.
You should read contentious thread from users in the scam accusation section and the gambling section more often. Almost all platforms restrict winners, it's a well known issue in the gambling world and it's the same in crypto gambling world, except they are even more savage and non customer friendly because funds are in cryptos.

Yes, 1 satoshi discount these days, but if btc pumps then it'll be 1 or 2 satoshis higher than other exchanges, it's fixed on 30 in freebitco .
It's not a serious issue for you, because you don't want to buy and sell fun in freebitco.
I've bought a big amount of funtoken when they added it to the site, then it started dumping, I could recover almost 80 percent of the loss with buying at low and selling at high, then even 1 satoshi can be helpful.
What do you mean by it's fixed? You mean freebitcoin is using a fixed exchange rate now? It's a new feature? That's not what I understood even if FUN token currently doesn't move very much since several weeks.

I need to look it up exactly, but I believe it was near the end of 2021. I get a daily of 7 WOF spins (which will go up to 8 in a couple of months). Currently I have around 37,000 RP and if the BTC prize stays low, I might get close to the 100,000 RP mark with some luck by the end of this year. Not really active in betting (and if I bet it is only around 1000 to 1500 satoshi/bet). I claim the free roll from time also (5 times a day maybe) so 95% of all my RP come from my WOF spins. I made a spreadsheet today to keep track of it as I also find it interesting  Grin.
100 000RP at the end of 2021, if you mange to get them again before the end of 2022 with only few smal bets and not more than 5 claims a day, it will be a record

2> Quel portefeuille software me conseillez vous ?

Disappointing games for both Belgium and Netherlands. I have lost my bet as Belgium did not win. I wonder if draw will Netherlands gave Poland a better feelings and extra motivation before Tuesday’s game with Belgium. Taking into account Poland did not play with their 1st team players, it seems there may be difficult game for Belgium.
Let’s wait for news from Baku.
Disappointing for them as you say but not for everybody. Netherlands-Poland was not available on Freebtc afaik but Wales-Belgium was there. And I precisely bet Belgians wont manage to win this match against the Welsh guys. It's a small team but I think everything is possible with it. I'm now waiting for my winnings, they've been already credited on my balance but they don't appear on the betslip, I dont know why there is often such delay between these 2 operations.

Hi there,

Are there any crypto sportbooks that allow winners to play there and dont start limiting players once they win a little bit?

Thanks!

I think you want to know which bookie allows its users to bet a big amount of winning money, right? Yes, bookie randomly limits their users to place a very big amount of money on a single bet and limit the winning over a certain amount of money.

As far as I know, on sportsbet.io daily winning limits are around ~$500,000, sometimes it depends on the event you make a bet. on Stake winning is unlimited, they didn't set any maximum winning limit. Other sites I don't know but definitely, you will find it on TOS or FAQ.
No he is not looking for daily winning limits, he's looking for sportsbooks not banning or applying unfair limits to the winners (or stealing their funds). And I don't know about sportsbet but for Stake it's sure they are restricting and banning sport winners. Several threads have been opened about very bad cases because of what they do.

Well it's not that bad but at any time 900 RP > 450 RP + 200 sats + 500 lottery tickets.
Even I had tried it once but my returns were worse than this so I never bothered again to spend my RP on this.
But again, it's good to have this option just in case we don't reach the 100k RP to exchange for BTC then we can use this option.
Depends on what your aims are. My aim is to get 100k reward points so that I could turn that into cash, that would be awesome and I really want it, so far I have done it once, and planning on doing it second time now, probably will do before 2023, but I do not gamble too much hence why I do not get many reward points neither.

I have the same goal, as a lot of users. I think, thanks the WOF spins that you get if you have a premium membership, it is possible for everybody to reach this goal even if you don't really wager, place bets or have referrals. I have reached it once and will probably reach it again by the end of this year, mainly thanks to these WOF spins!
When it was  precisely? In 2022? And you really think you can reach 100 000 RP a second time before 2023 without gambling? How many daily WOF spins do you get? 100 000 RP is worth 1mbtc then it would mean you hope freebtc would freely give you 2mbtc this year in RP (not counting sats and FUNs on top of that)? It would be the first time I see that.

Hi there,

Are there any crypto sportbooks that allow winners to play there and dont start limiting players once they win a little bit?

It is very rare that a sportbook is going to limit you due to obtain some profits, now this is quite common when it comes to fiat casinos, as they do not like professional players or gamblers which may be using arbitrage bets to beat them, however when it comes to cryptocurrency casinos this is way more rare, so as long as you are not earning a fortune the chances you will be banned or limited just because you are a winner are on the low side.
You are naive I think. It will be worst than fiat sportsbooks because fiat bookies are usually regulated and not hidden in dubious offshore islands of latin america. Then crypto bookies will not only limit your account they will try to steal your winnings. There is no reason for thinking crypto bookies are safer than fiat ones.
