Here is the real nhando. I also followed the other post recommendation to PM the admin.

Here is the signed message I did with my coinbase BTC address that is also registered to the same nhando email address before the hacker changed everything including probably the email address as I can't reset it.

Coinbase message
This is to prove I'm the real Nhando

Signature from the coinbase address that matches the Escrow phillip did for me.
IPdVcUW0dEkrnlO1TyJbtQODiAAYVh/35/3XUM+UGKaT1Fu4tlDXX+KWJIPGOnvBWMp8GIuK9yxXknyEX9PP50E=

Hope they restore my account and boot that damn HACKER!

I can confirm that I spoke with Nhando  and asked him to make the new account name.

nhan1957hacked

I can confirm I shipped him gear to his home in Katy,TX  in dec 2015

I can confirm that crazyguy shipped gear to him in Katy,TX in aug 2016 I was escrow.

admin can contact me via pm I would give full address in Katy,TX
admin can contact crazyguy  to see if it matches.

At nhando  if you get this working let me know via email.  I hope this fixes the issue here.
28704  Other / Meta / Re: How does one reclaim a hacked account? on: August 30, 2016, 08:10:46 PM

Thanks

I was able to match a Dec mailing address to the deal he and CrazyGuy did right before the hack.

My dec email has the full mailing address  and the item was sent to Katy, TX

The August deal I only have the town  and it is the same town  Katy, TX

So at the real "nhando"   please post here  with your new account and we can get started.
28705  Other / Meta / How does one reclaim a hacked account? on: August 30, 2016, 07:52:15 PM
Okay

nhando  sent me an email

he said his account is hacked.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=671475

I escrowed him  about a week before the hack

this is the btc address that the real nhando paid my escrow with on a deal with crazy guy

https://blockchain.info/address/13ih1oAN5kTgstjDB5Bc2S9M1A5wM6KiDY

this was the send to my main account

https://blockchain.info/tx/a2ca7942660d80d99f92df2ed1040e10ae5eabd1cdabc6f59e825587d1cc7692

to my account

https://blockchain.info/address/1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtje

so if the real nhando can sign that btc addy we should be good. (Delete)

So I figure the 13vHWR3iLsHeYwT42RnuKYNBoVPrKKZgRv  was his address.

this was the sale thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1565401.msg15989854#msg15989854

we have a mailing address that crazy guy shipped the miners to.

So any help to restore the account to nhando  instructions contacts

please post. info here so we can get his account back.

both crazy guy and i did business on this.

I also shipped him gear last year and I am look for the old address to compare to the address he used here.
28706  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Refused From S9 Warranty, Last Worst Mining Company, Don't Order S9 on: August 30, 2016, 07:21:45 PM
I've seen probably 30-40 S7 come through, plus 15 S7, with one dead board, and that was on an S7 which had been resold on eBay and returned a month later as defective - given it also had a fan failed, I suspect the buyer took dead parts from a batch, assembled them into one crap unit and scammed to get his money back. I have also seen so far 14 S9 with two failed boards, not quite the rate these guys are seeing but some of them were just delivered last week. Both of those boards failed inside 48 hours of runtime.

Miners should probably be built to run at least 18 months, especially if they're going to be priced at 14 month breakeven. If miners were designed to run 6 months they better cost about half as much. If they cost the same as they do now and actually could be called "overdesigned" I'd say they were priced about right.

or simple cross ship service to colorado if in north america.

make it for a year.  and these miners start to look good again for low power guys.

I am a low power guy with the solar array (yeah maybe 10 to 12 kwatts max)  but still at low cost.

So the current prices work with a proper warranty.

I have 2 lost boards in 18 boards and 1 flaky board.

2 of 18 is 11.11%
3 of 18 is 16.67%

I do not run these at 72-102 or 75 -105

I run them at 65-95 maybe 69-99

Although now  they are all clocked lower to 60-90 for fear of a  third dead board.

I have run s-1's s-3's s-5's s-7's none of them ever died zero.

I had a dead s-1 which came with  a loose cap

I had a low hash s-7  which hashes at 4400  and it still works today since sept of last year.

plus the boards show zero damage  look at the second board I will post photos soon.

28707  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Refused From S9 Warranty, Last Worst Mining Company, Don't Order S9 on: August 30, 2016, 07:06:45 PM
I saw 15 S7LN and didn't have a single bad board in 'em, but I did have three bad PSUs. One was a shot fan so I swapped it out but the other two were straight up gone. Even considering only electronics failures in PSUs that's still 2/15 for 13%

Not exactly six sigma defect rates...

Can you name any mining product that is built to six sigma? I'd highly doubt that and if they were you'd be calling them over designed. We need our miners to survive 6-12 months not 6-12 years.

Well the s-9  needs 10-12 months for roi.

So at least a 6 month real warranty. Not a 90 day maybe warranty.

I had two boards go bad a week apart.

That would be 220 to 290 in shipping since I would not have known to ship the two together.

That is an awful lot to pay for warranty service.

1000 loss as the the boards are about 500 usd each  and 290 to ship would be 1290  lost if the site in China says no.

28709  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: August 30, 2016, 04:56:18 PM
The only thing I see that is reasonably priced is the new PSU at 300 bucks....(or am I incorrect on that as well)

but $1300 bucks for the hash on this R4 don't cut it...

The colohub hosting we have they shut off their spondoolies sp35's as not being eff enough anymore and they probably have 4c kwh elec..also they have to keep
the whole place at 62F so part of the shut down is ie ..space heater vs what you are paying to air condition such...but anyway

so .anyway for what these spondoolies units go for on ebay (with built in psu) vs what you have to pay for the R4 with a psu...well...

pretty slim difference.....maybe if you were in Texas and had 4c kwh and it was in the garage...or basement or something.

but in the hosting field (with the heat output vs a/c and the say 4c kwh price) all I can say is the racks are being taken down as we speak

of spondoolies/bitmain S5 and maybe S7 as we speak....but they are putting up a lot of ether rigs by golly Smiley

I think its still a mystery why people are taking down the S7`s . They are the miners who finds blocks, not the S9 with BMMiner.
I did take down 50 pcs S5 and 50 pcs SP20e to make room for S7`and S9 and im not jumping on the wagon with the R4. The price/TH ratio is just plain stupid. If buying for 10k you get 80TH on the S9 and only 61,65TH on the R4 !!!!
Why on earth buying the R4 then ? Loosing almost 20TH, just to save on noise, or should we say Loosing 2500,-$...
Damn, for 1/3 of that price you could build a silence room and fill it up with Server PSU`s and S9`s...

Brinning back Home mining, my ass...... Its a freaking joke !

this isnt marketed to those who have a 10k budget. its for those who can only spare a few kw in a building were power is cheap/"free" but space and noise must be limited (such as a condo, dorm, etc)

if someone is looking for just buying a single miner to run in thier living room, the S9 is a horrible choice because of its noisy dB. even if it was underclocked to 8TH, the S9 would probably still be louder than this, and I think that's bitmain's target market on the R4

Yeah this is a free power office heater.  my buddy is mining with an s7-ln in his office with 2.4 cent power.

this would allow a move from 2th to 7th    with an increase in watts from 440 to 700   pretty good  if you can get a decent warranty.
28710  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty for Cracking Bitmain S9 BMminer on: August 30, 2016, 04:04:45 PM
Touching back here I have 2 confirmed dead s-9 boards I just mailed second one to colorado.

So  I have four full s-9's and two two board s-9's

I would load an s-9 but I need really good instructions  as if I am a complete moron screen shots easy easy easy peasy.

if fubly is native german speaker we need a guy that speaks reads and writes  both english and german really well

as my german is of the        Eins zwei drei   quality  Grin     two years in high school forty-three years ago.

I want to do like 10 screen shots of the loading of the software.

I would use 1 board and 1 controller.
28711  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Ant Miner r4 on: August 30, 2016, 03:56:01 PM
If I could order this with my paypal account using my discover card.
the warranty would be extended 1 year to 1 year and 90 days. I need to check this to be sure but I think it is true.
My power is not 1 cent even with the solar array.

If I had a 15 month warranty and 1 cent power.  This makes some sense see below

some roi charts

1 cent power 2% diff jumps

1 cent power 3% diff jumps

1 cent power 4% diff jumps
28712  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: August 30, 2016, 02:52:35 PM

did you screen shot it?

the photo is gone

hot link to photo is not allowed but I think you mean this:

28713  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: August 30, 2016, 02:49:41 PM
I woke up this morning and all of my S9's had nothing but xxxxxx on all hash boards. After rebooting them, they came back which is good. Anyone else experience this before? I thought it was odd that it only happened to my S9's and not my two S7-LN.
Out of my 6 s9's I've had something similar happen only once and was 2 weeks ago on a batch-3 I have at home. It's batch 1 brother next to it -- humming along just fine. Both are powered through always-on-line UPS's from Cyberpower so was not a power glitch, temps in my basement were around 80F so not unreasonable.

It was unresponsive to the GUI so don't know how the xxx's & 000's looked. Just cycled power and it has been running perfectly again ever since. Most odd.

yeah the s-9 is a bit flakey compared to s-7 or s-5.

I have 2 confirmed dead boards  out of 18 boards six miners.

I have clock all gear to 506-525  and I am running all gear at temps of 60-90

I finally am back to stable.   and I will run on a downclock  from now until the cooler weather comes
28714  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [40+PH] Kano CKPool kano.is 0.9% PPLNS US,DE,SG,JP,FR,NL on: August 30, 2016, 02:43:42 PM
If anyone has noticed any disconnects over the last hour or so, it seems there's some mineor internet problems around the pacific.
I've not noticed the pool hash rate change any more than usual, but a linode monitoring node keeps complaining about node and pool connections.
Very few miners should be affected, however, and they should just be reconnecting pretty much as soon as it happens.

Would this have anything to do with all my S9's going offline? I got out of bed an hour ago and noticed that all my S9's had little xxxxxxx all the way across on all hash boards. I rebooted them all and they're back up, could it be pool connection related somehow? None of my S7-LN were affected.

yeah  that more then likely means you are overheating or short power psu wise.

So what freq are you rated?  550 575 600?

What freq are you running? 525 550 575?

What are your temps?  60-90 / 65-95 / 70-100 / 75-105

try to lower the freq by 25  and get temps to 60-90 or 65-95

what psu's do you use?  the bitmaintech psu suffers a big drop off when it gets warm:

50c it can give 133 amps  = 1596 watts   this is good for the s-9 at   freq   550
55c it can give 117 amps  = 1404 watts   this is okay for the s-9 at   freq   550
60c it can give 107 amps  = 1284 watts   this is short for the  s-9 at freq   550

So  maybe a clock to 506- 525  vs a clock to 550 would fix you issues

both of you have risers on the dead cards am I correct?

I have 20 cards all good all have no risers.

My guess is it is a riser issue.

i have given up on wattman and decided to go Heliox ROM mod instead.

That is starting to sound better, and better...

Does it work under Windows 7?

yes, he managed to get the roms working for windows and also Linux.

I have used his Nano roms and its pretty good with low power.

he also has 370 and 390 rom mods.

and the latest 480, 470 rom mods is pretty good - imagine 480 doing 31.5MHs !

how much power?   30 mh = ?

 I have 11 480's and 9 470's

since I have smaller rigs  I don't want any more gear.

but my 20 cards do 470mh at the pool which is 23.5mh a card  I burn 3300 watts

so if I boost to 30mh a card I go to 600mh  vs 470mh   if watts scale  i go to

4212 watts

4212/600 = 7.02 watts a mh

3300 watts  all gear combined cpus, psu, hdd, mobos. etc

3300/470 = 7.02 watts a mh

I may check router logs at the solar array when weather cools a bit.

Some good news on board replacement.

I am sending in the second board after a contact email from Yoshi this morning.

I may see replacements soon.

I will update as time goes by.

That's good news!

yes it is I am packing second board  and will ship to colorado today.
