2881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: October 08, 2020, 02:31:53 PM
This is a high volatility market? People don't understand what it means, it means the risk is very high, it can break you more than it can make you, it's takes luck and wisdom, consistency and lesson and teachings learned about trading, coupled with discipline the individual uses to take profit.
<snip>
Any investments can cause anyone to lose all of his/her investments.
All investments has risks, it's just up to you how you will take and manage it.
The risk that has been accepted for the investment will be worth it if it's been properly managed, but it is not always guaranteed.
That's why taking experiences and knowledge is some keys toward the success on trading.

High volatility also brings high profits compared to those that are less volatile assets.
Avoid buying on the peak of the hype.
2882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin logo on: October 08, 2020, 01:16:03 PM
<snip>
what do you think about logo re-branding, or Bitcoin need a symbol and does not need a logo, since it is a decentralized currency, not a brand?
<snip>
It's completely unnecessary. No need for any re-brandings, it might just cause some confusion to the market.
Also if bitcoin logo will be changed, there could be other projects that will use this logo with the purpose of scamming people with their crypto projects.

The logo of bitcoin itself already has a huge name to crypto space, it's simple and it already tells what bitcoin is even at the first glance.
2883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Welcome Bonuses Without Restrictions ... fun or test. on: October 08, 2020, 12:24:11 PM
<snip>
<snip>
I find the rules therefore very fair. You get the chance to test the casino, if you like it, you have to invest BTC and co. yourself to be able to make profits.
For me the rules are also very fair, for both of the player and the company.
It just unfortunate to the part of the jackpot winner that he won using the welcome bonus.
Winning jackpots is so hard, and given that he got it multiple times, surely that there are some down-feeling for the part of the winner.
The bonus was an oppprtunity to take profit for free, and rules are absolutely fair.

As I read somewhere here, Luckybit, reduced the welcome bonus to $5, with different rules.
You can withdraw all of your winnings regardless how much you have won, pretty nice.
2884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Welcome Bonuses Without Restrictions ... fun or test. on: October 08, 2020, 11:44:12 AM
<snip>everyone must understand that a bonus can become a nightmare or the best story to tell.
<snip>
Yeah that's true, like that one who won jackpots multiple times on Lucky.bit using only the welcome bonus that he got from registration.
Unfortunately, according to the terms and conditions for the bonus Lucky.bit's bonus, the maximum amount that he can withdraw is only $6 regardless how much he have won using the welcome bonus.

It's pretty hard to accept if I were that person, but following rules, it should be accepted.
2885  Other / Meta / Re: Duplicate of Bitcointalk on: October 08, 2020, 03:18:08 AM
This is a phishing site even and using all these sites is stupid. In fact, it could be that they are carrying out a conspiracy to steal our bitcointalk password. On the other hand, they may want to search our personal wallet and try to hack it later. So be carefully and avoid it.
As far as I can see, there is no any log in options that can be seen.
So it's no way a phising site, can't get any passwords, username, nor e-mail.
I see this just a web dev practice of someone(probably a forum member).

I've seen many forums that used that same design as what bitcointalk.org has.
I've seen it on other language too, forum games(with exactly same design).
Not sure if those who used the same design of this forum are okay, but it seems that it is.
2886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: October 07, 2020, 05:15:17 PM
In almost 5 years, I have collected more than 150 different coins that are stored in my wallets. <snip>
But to be honest, today there are such projects that after listing you can sell a token for a certain period of time, and then either the project dies or no one is interested in the token, besides, the price drops a hundred or a thousand times.
Nice to hear that from an experienced altcoin trader.
It's pretty safe to say that the possible reason why these new tokens from current recent projects dies is because there are too much of them popping out everywhere.
Lots of tokens to invest, lots of competition, that's why it cause most projects to die eventually after launching.
I won't collect any tokens based from ETH unless they have value and it's free. Grin
2887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: October 07, 2020, 04:44:14 PM
I was once an addicted gambler. It happened few years ago, I cant control myself when im playing. It all started when I play dice because I heard that my friend managed to triple his money through it. Unfortunately im not lucky just like him and lose. From then, I often try to recover what I lost, end me up to a worst situation. <snip>
Not everyone is lucky enough to be successful in gambling, it's pretty risky specially if you are new into it.
Do not dive on gambling and bet high amounts if you are a beginner, just familiarize your self first.
Eventually you will get how the game works, and it could give you some nice predictions that you can use for betting basis.
Experience will be a good source of knowledge in gambling, before you decide to went through, think it about it multiple times.
Lossing is frustrating, that's why you have to establish yourself first, ready to accept whatever happens.
2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 07, 2020, 04:08:11 PM
<snip>
The only time I bet big on dice is when I am being stupid chasing a loss. I try not to think about the big losses too much and just want to avoid them. Very tricky to do!
Experienced chasing losses and it got me bankrupted in the end.
Chasing loss is a regretfull decision most of the time, though it could be worth it if you have lots of funds even you already loss from multiple bets.
I am turning to become a high roller whenver I'm chasing a loss, and as far as I experienced it's not a good idea, again, if you don't have a lot of funds to play with.
It's hard to accept the loss but atleast it did not made you bankrupted.

Always set limits whenever you sit on any gambling sites to play. Grin
2889  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: TradingKlaus - Have I been scammed ? on: October 07, 2020, 03:21:17 PM
I recently tried to withdraw the BTC I had on a account I created on tradingklaus.com but they keep telling me to add more deposit for insurance, ect...
<snip>

Classic scam?
I never had an in my life to deposit to any exchange for "insurance" shit. LOL, for what issurance is that?
It's most probably an scam exchange, please stay away from that platform.
Remember that you don't need to deposit on in order to process any withdrawal on any exchange(except for your very first deposit ofcourse).

What you have to do is to not deal any trades to that exchange, you can report them if you want to. I just don't think that you can withdraw your funds there.
Good thing that you did not deposited any amount, always ask first. 😉

<snip>
just bought 50 UNI in binance..can you coach me to earn atleast 2-5 UNI per day aside from trading..
actually i bought UNI for the price of 4.7 but now it has plunged thats why am stuck..
<snip>
We're sorry to tell you that no one here can give you any idea in order to earn "atleast" 2-5 UNI per day, which has $1 to $2.5 of equivalence as of writing this post.
Seeing the price chart of UNI, it seems like it's pretty declining.
Sad to realize that your 235 USD turned to approximately 15 USD, don't buy on hype dude.
If I'm the one who experienced that, I'll decide to hold it longer hoping to get higher, I can afford to loss also that ~$15.
I'll wait if UNI went higher in price, I can wait for months or year, then just revisit the investment if it happened.
But if not, move on, lesson learned.

Buy low, Sell High Smiley

2893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 07, 2020, 10:01:58 AM
I have been reading many posts that show signs to be that people are giving up on Bitcoin's technical development to become an actual currency, and also shows signs to be ready to sell after the next surge to ATH.

I believe it's too soon. Bitcoin's benefit for improvement outweighs the cost in my opinion.

HODL!
Bitcoin investors has different strategy for their investments, you may see that it's best thing to hodl those bitcoins, but for some, it's much better to sell it on the new ATH.
They might even sell their bitcoins even no new ATH hasa reached.
For me, this kind of selling is a safety precautions for the investment.
Already got profited a convincingly good amount, no need to risk it even more.
Above all we can repurchase bitcoin again if it's price declined.

2895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question: Is there any websites where I can gamble crypto under 18? on: October 07, 2020, 06:51:15 AM
<snip>
<snip>
<snip>
Let me clarify things up. Mostly of the online casinos in the cryptocurrency world doesn't require KYC, and if you're going to register on their site, all they will ask is if you're below 18 or not, and you'll just check the box that you're 18 even if you're not, easy as that.
That's absolutely right, even on withdrawals, no KYC is needed unless they require it(mostly are for those huge withdrawals from big jackpots).
Pretty easy for everyone to play, but if you are a teenager, and you filled the birthdate info with your correct birthdate.
I think the casino will not allow you to play because of that.
They had your birthdate and found out that you are underage to play on their site.

If you are a minor, I suggest that you must stay away from casinos, you can wait until you're at the right age.

2897  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 06, 2020, 10:45:59 AM
Everything is unstable as long as there is a pandemic.<snip>
It's pretty normal this time of pandemic to loss the job (some says they lost their job but the reality is their working days are just paused).
We need to have physical distancing that's why almost all of the works has been paused.
Those that are just continuing are those home-based jobs as they don't require to be physically present on the site.
Construction sites has been paused also, restaurants, but some are opened with social distancing protocol being observed.

For me it's fine to close them as long as the governent will finance the food that every houses needed.
We need to compromise at the first place to stop the spread of the virus.
Keep safe, we can do this, we can survive. Smiley
2898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enough is enough! Good bye Bitcoin! on: October 06, 2020, 09:50:58 AM
I'm fed up with all this cryptocurrency thing.
<snip>
So unfortunate, does your funds from that exchange on your country had been given back to you?
You're one of few people that I encountered to have bad experience from investing on bitcoins.
As what I've understand from you, it's the lack of knowledge about trading and the unfortunate event (shutting of Kuwait's first and only crypto exchange) in which you are investing/trading.

You should had gathered information about bitcoin trading before you started investing into it.
Remember the principle, buy low & sell high.  That's the only way you can get profit, otherwise a loss.

Better to use p2p exchanges rather than those centralized one, less fees but sometimes takes more time to complete a bitcoin trade. Sad to hear that the exchange has been shutdown by your government as assume.
2899  Other / Meta / Re: If you see a copy-paste topic from newsletters on: October 06, 2020, 09:04:54 AM
If you see a post looks lengthy and have good information but at end of it, poster leaves a source to a newsletter article, will you send merit to a poster?
<snip>
I'm not a fan of copy pasted articles even they do did mentioned the source.
Atleast the user that created the topic should made the article much easier to understand.
Sumarize it or he/she outlined the important parts of the article.
Lenghty posts, for me, are boring to read unless I'm interested to the topic and it's body really delivered smoothly and has been tackled very well.

Most of them are already having huge funds because of their business, but putting our selves to their shoes, we are also vulnerable to be attracted by gambling and its fortune. <snip>
I agree. I experienced it myself, I never thought that there will be time on me to bet much higher bets on the average amount of bet that I am placing.
I've been attracted by the possible winning thinking that I could get more if I bet more to a single round.
Also, if I lost on  consequtive times, I most of the time, I become more eager to get back my loss through placing larger bets.
This lead me recently to be banckrupted, we must not be taken away by our feelings and make more rational decision when we play.
