2883  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: [Ufficiale] The Rock Trading Carta prepagata on: November 06, 2014, 02:47:30 PM

2884  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: [Ufficiale] The Rock Trading Carta prepagata on: November 06, 2014, 02:19:10 PM
2885  Local / Off-Topic (Italiano) / Re: CREVIT QUESTO (S)CONOSCIUTO on: November 06, 2014, 08:59:04 AM

are u sure , you have to round btc amount in this way!?

on bitstamp i could make this order:
Kaufen 5. November 2014 19:15:30 1,12075664 $331,99 $372,08 Offen

When i make a API Call, if i have over 5 Decimal Total Unit (price + quantity decimal unit) i get an error.

Quote
only $ are rounded at 2 Digits after the dot, what makes sense.

I know but using API i must also round quantity.

But i will take a look if i can round quantity to the third digit.
2889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【BOT】 C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader (130+ Feedbacks) Now On BitStamp! on: November 05, 2014, 07:00:43 PM
In this line

2014-11-05 19:22:03   SELL   341.96000000   0.02992945   0.03341191   BUY   338.88000000   0.02000000   0.03000000   0.06341191   -0.00181191   0.901   0.01722876

There's a negative Gain right?
Fees are returned from Bitstamp inside an Api Call (i don't calculate it)
It seems that Fees are higher than the gain. Are you sure you have 0.38% on Both Sell And Buy?

Trade with Little values on Bitstamp could be a problem due to rounding values, but there's no way to set little orders, Bitstamp have this kind of rules
2890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【BOT】 C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader (130+ Feedbacks) Now On BitStamp! on: November 05, 2014, 06:53:26 PM
1% is a 0 Gain parameter.
0.5% is Buy Fee, 0.5% is Sell Fee, try to set at least at 1.2%

Quote
so bitstamp doesnt work.

So bitstamp doesn't work because there was a round routine? There's always a round routine, i must respect the API rules.

rounding on bitstamp is Sub optimal:

 Warning : Rounded Quantity : 0.01999945 -> 0.01

after some recalculations  the buy back quantity  is 0.02 btc after selling  0.25 btc

Usually C.A.T. always round on the lower value of the minimal unit size (in that case 0.01)
This is the worst case (0.01999.....) but i cannot round up, this could cause problems....

I will look for a good solution....
2893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【BOT】 C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader (130+ Feedbacks) Now On BitStamp! on: November 05, 2014, 04:12:17 PM
Well this is a "basic strategy" (copy/paste from the tips & tricks guide)

- How can i Choose Best Markets to Run PING-PONG?
A single answer doesn't exists. It depends on your strategy. Be aware of these factors :

- In "low fluctuation" markets,  markets with high and similar number of trades in last 24 hours, it's easy to have a lot of successful Ping-Pongs.
Example of "High And Equilibrate in terms of 24H Trades" : 500/550 - 300/400 - 400/600 .....

- % Min Gain have his meaning for each market.
Ex :
LTC/BTC
Best Sell : 0,025
Best Buy : 0,0249
Difference is : 0,0001
% Difference is : 0,4%

DOGE/BTC
Best Sell : 0,00000111
Best Buy : 0,00000110
Difference is : 0,00000001
% Difference is : 0,9%

So, choosing 1% for LTC/BTC could be a good idea, choosing 1% For DOGE/BTC could be a bad idea.

- Study the MAX Value & MIN Value of markets during 24/48/72 hours. The number of times that market hits MAX-Y and MIN+Y (A window of value where you know that many times/day you will reach that value).
Place a Buy when Market is near MIN+Y, place a Sell when Markets is Near MAX-Y
Set a % difference near % Diff Between MIN and MAX

- You don't need to have a lot of Ping-Pong cycles completed to make money with C.A.T. You can have 1 Ping-Pong/Day but with enormous Gain. Some markets move +/- 30% in a 24 hour period.
