Not really... I see one time Porn Star Mia Khalifa tweeted to her followers that she'd "taken the plunge and bought DOGE coins".
Given the hyper interest in BTC at the ATH ~$41,500 and GameStop going above $500 this week (not to mention BTC pointing north again) little wonder investors are looking for the next all-time-high coin.

In a little over two weeks I will have posted six-nine-six-nine times...
Sixty-nine one hundred and one times...

I bet with news over the last 24 hours that one time Porn Star Mia Khalifa has tweeted to her followers that she has taken the plunge and bought DOGE coins (sending the price up eightfold), there'll be many a user scrambling to locate paper wallets or external hard drives in the hope of seeing if their old DOGE wallets have muchly any Wow! Coins left.

Not sure what all the hype about Doge is, but I've seen its jumped eightfold in the last hour. Some gaming sites use alt coins to help people overcome crippling TX fees (not all gaming sites are the same mind you)

This'll make you laugh...
I have BlockFolio on my mobile phone so I can look up spot prices of various crypto on the go.
A long time ago, I added GME GameCoin to the growing list of crypto (as one does) then GameCoin fell on hard times, but I still kept the listing.
For those that have never heard of it, BlockFolio is an entry level folio app to track your assets or prices etc. BlockFolio seldem updates any information, the exchanges (e.g. Cryptopia etc are still listed) or even what trading pairs exchanges use to trade.
Imagine my surprise when GME came to life just now on BlockFolio and said it was now worth $500.00+ US$ EACH making me an instant multi millionaire.
A little bit of digging reveals BlockFolio is now linking GME to something called GameStop meaning my new found fortune has now gone the way of GME itself.

I only log in once or twice a week to put some wagers on the UK football - first thing I do is claim from the faucet. I have about 0.0075 in my account, so I'm getting a little something each day even when I don't log in.
I havent been doing many free spins because it's not always convenient to log into my email at the same time, but that's just me. I like the site as it's easy to navigate and the Devs have tried to be as transparent as possible about where your funds have come from and where they've gone.

My preference would be that a user can only merit a post once with not more than just two merits (which would enable the recipient to on send one merit to the next user).
Any post can be merited by an unlimited number of users, but as I mention above just once for either one or two merits.
Other threads have figures showing merits are not making their way down the totem pole to the new and near new users to enable them to rank up, so both the merit sources and the recipients they shower with anywhere from four to eight (and more!) merits simply aren't giving new users the time of day much less merits.

The final ten day count down until the second impeachment of the 45th President begins. In the meantime, an office has opened in Florida for supporters to reach out (and presumably become members of whatever party is formed in the weeks and months ahead).
It's very likely the 2024 election with have a three-way contest, but who would you gamble would win?

As I forcast at the start of the year: The pump will have stopped, people will start selling because they need cash after Christmas splurges. By March the price will have come off of the boil and institutional buyers hoping for strong gains will be facing concerning losses and so (one by one) will cash out forcing the price down.
It happens every year, maybe not as harshly as this year coming off of an ATH.

We will have to see, with so many claimants and from previous times i am hoping it wont be a gruellingly long wait for some progress.
It's been a tough race already, that much is certain. For anyone with a sizeable bag of crypto (especially Bitcoin/Ether and the like) the price is five to ten times what they were worth when the exchange folded. On the other hand... So alts were only traded via Cryptopia, so they are now dead coins.

My point was actually that Mitchell took over another UID profile name, so it is possible for a new user to take over the old name of a user who has changed their profile name.
Ah, that is what you meant, my bad. However, that is an incorrect assumption. I specifically asked Theymos if they could remove the inactive and banned account that previously used this name and change my name into it. It's not an asumption, you started a thread to advise that you were seeking to do the name swap. IiRC the other UID's profile name was modified, then you modified yours. Getting back to the current request, I've spotted a couple of threads the last few days and from what I've seen it's a protracted thing, so isn't likely to occur quickly.

@PrimeNumber7 I think you'll find that other Forums are a lot less tolerant of bad behaviour when compared to this one which is probably why there is such a proliferation of scammers here that aren't as apparent elsewhere.

Usually if someone changes their username, others can't take/use that name anymore. When theymos changed some usernames a while back, some users tried to register any of their username but failed (it was for test purpose only). The username is reserved.
Mitchell was able to change their user name (more than once IIRC) the last time they took over the name from a long since inactive user. Unless you looked closely, you wouldn't have noticed the two curls on the bottom of the "L"'s I have mixed feelings about name changes in the forum. One admin/mod in a local language section was changing user names a little while after some of them started receiving negative feedback and or distrust.

My mobile phone's version of TOR (9.5.4) seems to work better than the version on my Tablet (10.something).
I was just wondering how "random" are the words selected? And, (newbie question here) I thought the last two or three words were a check-sum to verify the previous words, is this not the case?

Tor latest version - a couple of times the Ballance comes up, but not the corresponding details.
You could set up a modified version where users pay one Satoshi via Lightning Network and have say just four tumblers (and even say what the words are ahead of time for transparency).
Whoever rolls the correct answer wins the pot. (Almost like slots when you think about it)

I'm trying the link on an Android device and see one or two words in a couple of boxes then all boxes go blank. Then, after about five seconds, information is displayed in the lower grey box. Basically, I can't see any of the rolled words.
Is 2048 the total number of words possible, or, a selection?

Just a reminder to everyone that it's important that you check each and every user's trust feedback, both trusted (by you) and untrusted. You may find another user has already uncovered the exact same information previously which will save you time and trouble when looking to make connections.

Thanks for the information, I thought it odd that all six had changed their minds at the same time (that or TF had some sort of forgotten admin privilege apart from being able to change their profile name). On my action=trust page I can see their profile name has been updated automatically.
