2881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla buys 1.5 BILLION worth Bitcoins !! Good or Bad ? on: February 16, 2021, 02:01:59 PM
This is certainly a good move but it just gives more scope for the market manipulation.

What do you guys think ?? Will this bring more Volatility in the market controlled by such Whales ?
Yeah definitely a good move for entire bitcoin community; Elon Musk was saying the other day that he’s going to buy dogecoin and show full support to the coin if the big holders should sell their coins, I think he’s just starting to play some tricks here or whatever.

Anyway, as for his company Tesla investing that huge amount of money on bitcoin, for now I am going to say that it is good because the market will start increasing now that they have done that and also since he’s a big influencer who has been linked to several bullish markets this year, that will push lots of his followers to start buying Bitcoin since they have seen him buying it.
2882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheap Thrills And BITCOIN Shills? on: February 16, 2021, 08:54:54 AM
Are we all in agreement that 98% of the 'crypto experts' on Youtube have no idea what's going on?

They use clickbait titles like "BIGGEST OPPORTUNITY IN DEFI" or BITCOIN ABOUT TO "EXPLODE / DIE", they are the ones smashing it in crypto but only through youtube ad revenue?! Or most of them shill their own coins.... I have seen huge pumps in coins they are hyping up on the video, the coin pumps just before the video is released.

Do most people on here stay away from them?

Can anyone share REPUTABLE sources or is everyone on this pump and dump scheme?!
YouTubers can do and say anything just to get the audience they need, they are in need of audience because more audience means more money from their ad revenues. I have seen some of them put some stupid title and description and images that doesn’t match the contents of the video, this kind of things can be really annoying, so that’s the same thing with most of them, they just hype shit and say nonsense, only a few of them will value what they are doing and provide true contents for their viewers.

If you see a video by a YouTuber, it’s best that you do more research to confirm if what they are saying is true or not.
2883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 15, 2021, 08:11:45 PM
Even at his age, Manny Pacquiao can still be destructive and fast, not to mention his countless experience in boxing. This will be any boxer's demise if they think they have an advantage over Manny because of his old age. I hope Crawford would accept this fight with the money involved and it would be a great experience and honor to even fight Pacman who is considered as a boxing legend.
I agree but to be quite honest the fight between Tyson vs Jones Jr made me feel like these legends should not be forced into the ring beyond their prime time because its not just painful for them to fight and maintain the same energy for longer rounds but it is as boring for the fans to see their legends fight like two ladies with no real power or any kind of threat from either boxer.

It would be great for them to make money and 10 million is a massive number but I would rather watch two young and athletic boxers going at each other rather than watching two legends being lame and slow. Don't get me wrong, I respect all the boxers and I am calling legend that means I do respect them the most.
2884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 15, 2021, 07:07:54 PM
Looks like the Lakers will have another challenging match on their next game since Anthony Davis is no assurance since he suffered some aggravation of the Achilles strain earlier in their game with the Denver Nuggets. Well, he needs to be careful since they are getting some good wins to keep up their spot in the playoff tree in the western conference. remember when Lebron James was injured last 2019 season and he was too late to get them back on track. Let's just hope that his injury was not serious at all.

https://www.nbcsports.com/edge/basketball/nba/player/29801/anthony-davis
Too bad for them, I've watched the match a while ago and surprised that the lead of Nuggets was a lot. AD is one of the key players of the Lakers and we all knew about that.
I wish him speedy recovery.
AD was always a player that got injured constantly, he and CP3 are the two players who should be HOF by the end of their careers but definitely lacked the game count they could have reached, both of them are the two players I know that are best players that got the most injuries. In any case AD will probably return in a few games, at most few weeks because this is not ACL tear or rupture or anything, this is just a swelling and I am sure a strain is not that bad and he can return.

I remember many players who had this and it is usually not a big deal in the sense that it doesn't stop you from playing but it does bother you and hurt even after years, that is the kind of bothersome stuff that is not good of course but still not keeping you away from playing neither. Lakers need AD a lot, without him there is no chance they could win the ring but with him they suddenly become the biggest possibility to win it this year.
2885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2020/21 Season on: February 15, 2021, 06:02:55 PM
Beşiktaş played whole game dominant, like previous games. They couldn't find second goal until last minutes but they had too many positions wasted. Gençlerbirliği had only 1 shot on goal, almost all game was played in Gençlerbirliği's side of the pitch.

Cenk Tosun's performance was quite good, he played in last 30 minutes only but didn't waste positions he found. Meanwhile Larin and Aboubakar was so generous about easy one on ones, Cenk gave good signs to fans and manager Sergen Yalçın. It was an important win for Beşiktaş. All three teams have 51 points now.
There was this feeling of "we are not giving up" situation going on. I mean the three big clubs are doing amazing and they are all equal points right now, Besiktas was ahead of everyone at one point and everyone assumed that it would continue like that but when they had a loss and a tie back to back and FB and GS caught up with BJK, people started to question what will happen and maybe BJK will fail and s forth, which honestly didn't happen at all.

This game was more of a "we are not done yet and we are still at the top" game and a show off force, even as a person who is not fan of BJK, I have to say they played an amazing football. Sergen was always a great football player and he was always amazing thanks to his skills and talent and not because of his physique, so it was obvious that he would become a very good manager in the end as well.
2886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will increase 20X in the next 5 years on: February 15, 2021, 04:09:14 PM
People got hype and really optimistic when the market is at high, thinking x10, x20 in the next Bullrun is still uncertain. You can't be sure that everything will follow the same path as what we have today. No for sure, maybe we could say that its price will be doubled or tripled in the next Bullrun might be possible but this ( as you have mentioned), that is really hard to achieve. I'm not thinking negatively here but we shouldn't have to think too far from the possible scenario.
I remember in 2017 there were a lot of people who started to get into crypto when the price was super high at around 15k+ prices, some of them got lucky and made a profit, some of them were too greedy and lost a lot of money.

So, if you make a lot of profit and leave early, you are going to miss out on the chances to make more profit, if you make a lot of profit and never get out, eventually the price will fall and you will lose money for being too greedy. There is really this amazing point where if you sell at that moment and everything starts going down after that, it would be great for you but finding that and getting out at that price is not really that easy, it is really something challenging and rarely anyone can do that. Which is why I think many people will either leave early, or they will hold too much and lose money.
2887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: February 14, 2021, 09:02:24 PM
I still have a little balance in some of the gambling sites, but if I lose all of them, I don't know if I would still deposit bitcoin because the price is insanely high and so as the transaction fee.
You might want to use https://cryptogamblers.pub/logon if the site you play supports them, basically they exchange your bitcoins and other coins with like 5% fees which is pretty awesome way to convert and withdraw your bitcoins now days. I was having the same problem few days back at stake and I just used their service and it was instant. I am not associated with the link I gave but because I like their service I am sharing it.

it's time to save your bitcoin now rather than spending it in gambling, if you have extra money of course you can but always consider bitcoin as the most precious asset that is not good for gambling purposes at this time.
For sure and I already regret losing money in past on gambling which would have been really significant now, like I had around 50000 dogecoins at a time in past which I blew away for fun and today its worth more than $3000 which means the whole world to me now. So, losing even 0.001 today might be a big regret tomorrow and so even I am not blowing them.
2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice games on: February 14, 2021, 08:17:13 PM
The bottom line is that in the end the house always wins.
Absolutely current I got involve is dice lately and as a beginner I went 4 into 20 places or when is hit, at first I won but as the game went on I just twice and the house edge turn against me.
Not sure what you mean by went 4 into 20 places but I agree that house is the real winner specially in the games where the house edge is higher. I actually think dice has the lowest house edge like on bitsler dice has 1% house edge and other games have higher house edge. Similarly stake has 1% house edge on dice but the 3rd party slots have up to 7-8% house edge which is criminal in my opinion because its like 7-8% expected loss of wager on each bet.

There are guys who are in profit from casino but that might be because they got extremely lucky some day and stopped betting or lowered amounts to avoid loss. And all the talk about seeds and luck, the seeds you rotate or change does not influence your winning or losing at all.
2889  Economy / Economics / Re: The recent rise in prices, temporary or more long term? on: February 14, 2021, 07:28:59 PM
when talking about people who buy Bitcoin to avoid taxes, maybe yes, because besides they can get more benefits, too will not reduce their assets when prices continue to rise.
Illegal things will always be associated with everything, in fact there are fake Paypal users who will buy a Paypal account and then use the chargeback feature to scam others so I mean illegal activities can't be stopped in any payment method let alone bitcoins.
2890  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 Billion in Bitcoin! on: February 14, 2021, 09:09:16 AM
Elon Musk is not only a good troll but he is a proven smart investor as now it's confirmed that Tesla bought 1.5 Billion in Bitcoin, and they even plan to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment soon!
First of all, I like the fact that they have invested in Bitcoin, at least the market will start growing from here, and like Changpeng Zhao said, would you to be before or after them? From the series of tweets you have posted here, it made it seem to me like they just want to pump and dump so they can increase their net worth.

I just don’t know, why I am saying this is because of the tweet that told him that if he invests in Bitcoin they can increase their net worth to a trillion dollars, and he, Elon Musk, replied that comment. So does that mean that is motive for investing? Well, whatever. I’m still good with it, Since it’s helping the market.
2891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My 1 month testing trade result $500 profit on: February 13, 2021, 09:12:02 PM
I make a profit of $500. Truely this is huge if you are newbie because for newbie future trading is not user friendly. And i have done this trade as a test perpose. So if you are newbie you can start with spot trading.  It is a friendly suggestion for everyone. It is not for expert traders. Because you guys know what you have to do. Newbie guys can take a safe profit with spot trading and learning more for future trading.

Keep safe spot-trade, safe game, safe money and safe profit.
Congrats on that, it’s really not easy lol. Trading and making that kind of profit is difficult, that’s about more than twice of what you have invested for trading which is very good. And not be over confident in yourself at this time so that you don’t end investing when you’re making the wrong choice which will eventually lead to your loss. You still have to be thinking everything through before you make any other decision. And it would be really good if you can state more info on your trade, like how you’re able to and the strategy and all that.
2892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: February 13, 2021, 03:52:30 PM
Yes people can get rich in trading but not in an instant. And it also depends on how much you’ve invested and for how long too. I know someone who’ve invested his last pay at work and every time bitcoin reaches a new ATH he would announce how much he profited. But I don’t think he ever withdrew his profits and kept hodling up until now.
Yes, but it is funny that most people here said NO. I knew that there were lesser amount of people who purely just keep on trading everyday all day, and more people who like to invest. I like to call myself an investor, I rarely ever buy and sell a coin at the same day, probably do that because I want to move money around, otherwise I would never do that.

I should say I usually keep the coin as much as I can, and check how it is going and unless its at the price I want and not going high, I will not sell it, I would consider selling if it reaches price I want and stops going further high. And I only buy when I have a price for it to drop and if it reaches that price I do end up buying. Plus, I do not deal with low level bad coins that are risky, I usually end up trading top 100 coins and not under, there were few times I found some of them good as well but it rarely goes out of top 100.
2893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A Big Secret of BNB coin! You Must Read This Or You Would Regret Later on: February 13, 2021, 08:42:07 AM
Most of you already ever heard and know about Binance Coin or BNB. Recently BNB price skyrocketed to above $140 but unfortunately it's down to $120 now.

I will tell you guys a big secret of BNB coin, idk you guys already realized it or not. So let's begin the secret!
I am not saying that BNB was undervalued or is overvalued or anything like that but there is a huge part of "what people think it worths" situation in BNB in any other crypto. The reason why BNB went up is the way people are spending hundreds of millions of dollars worth of BNB in the defi world, binance smart chain became big, huge and that really did changed a lot in the crypto world, which is why I think we are in a situation where BNB is worth a lot.

I believe undervalued and overvalued doesn't exist in crypto, people think one coin should worth something and they buy and sell accordingly and price gets there, there is nothing exterior that makes it go up or down, it is all buyers and sellers that decide the price. Hence, I think this mathematics could be right or wrong but it wasn't the reason in the end, people didn't calculated it before they bought bnb.
2894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 12, 2021, 08:12:38 PM
Mauricio Pochettino was famous for his offensive and admirable style of football, but yet, spurs were unable to win the league under him, I personally do not admire Mourinho's style of play, but when you're looking to win the EPL, there are only one or two managers to call on other than Mou, Jose has won it on numerous occasions, he prolly wouldn't win it this season, but if you sack him, who then do you employ in his place.

Maybe Spurs needs a couple of new players to strengthen the team the more before they can challenge for the title, and not a change of manager; at the beginning of the season, they looked like title contenders, but not anymore, if they lose to City tomorrow, then their chance is gone.
I don't know who can fill Mourinho's place if they sack him. For now, it seems there is no better alternative who is ready to do this. They should absolutely sign new players to improve their game quality. They are very good on the attacking side but I believe they should strengthen their defense and midfield more.
Sometimes having one good manager is not really enough, sometimes things get very bad and you just need to fire the manager and get anyone in to make that season anything worthwhile, and it could be just until the end of the season. Hell I have seen interim head coaches do a better job after the good manager leaves, all because players are afraid that there could be reprecussions for them as well, and start playing a lot better.

In any case Tottenham lost horribly and I think Mourinho served his time there and should start looking for another team and Tottenham should look for another manager, it could be during the summer break in order to not disturb the season but I think next season they should definitely part ways. Tottenham is a great offensive team with players like Son and Kane and many other offensive beasts whereas Mourinho is a great defensive coach, I think team strategy didn't fit, neither Mourinho nor the team is responsible for it.
2895  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: February 12, 2021, 04:27:27 PM
Just to make this clear for everybody who still don't understand what cryptocurrency really is, it only became money when you spend it towards our needs and wants. This will become valuable when it's worth with our desired price which we ever desired to. Fiat is more than physical form, and cryptocurrency is more of digital figures that can be used through computers that used intenet connectivity through blockchain network that provides us convenience.
Even at the time you’re just holding it in your wallet it has value already, as long as people are ready to buy it for a particular rate, that rate will be the value and as time goes on it will be changing. It’s that value that it has which will enable you to be able to use it to buy whatever you desire, because if there is no value you’re going to be unable to make use of it to buy whatever it is that you want to buy. So saying that it doesn’t have any value until we use it to buy certain things is wrong.
2896  Economy / Economics / Re: All world banks need bitcoin now big solution on: February 12, 2021, 02:43:19 PM
They need bitcoin to use it reseve asset.
So if. China bank needs eur currency they dont need direct buying or exchanging china fiat to eur or find correspondent intermediary bank to do transactions.

They can do the transactions with btc or eth works too.
Btc can replace all wire and swift transfers between banks.
When jp morgan want to send funds to japan they just send btc their wallet.
And its a instant world transactions
Lol I don’t really think it’s going to work that way, the government themselves might not be investing in Bitcoin because it’s a very risky asset, except for private businesses, those are the ones that may decide to invest a percentage of their assets or money in Bitcoin and any other cryptocurrencies.

Though I have once seen a news that a government in a particular country, I think Germany, was going to set a new law that allows banks to buy and sell cryptocurrency to their customers, maybe that one would be possible. As for banks creating stable coins, I don’t know about this, the ones I have seen failed woefully.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 11, 2021, 05:58:14 PM
I believe bayern will easly win this matche...unal tigres havnt the potential to make problems to bayern munchin and gignac will not be enoigh for sure...the ods are totally logic and i advice everyone to bet on bzyern to win with good stake
I think easy for Bayern win tonight but will match going on extended time or not, but do not forget with Gignac because he was best player as Marseille before joining with Tigres and become most danger player for his team, Munich wanna going on last other team Liverpool win FIFA club world cup because almost UEFA team always success take trophy.
[/quote]
It is really as easy as it gets for them. I never really fully understood the point of this cup, after all if a team like Bayern manages to win against a team like PSG and beat everyone before that, its obvious that we are going to obviously end up with Bayern as the champions, or liverpool as well or any other team.

It is not really that easy for any other team to win. Sportsbooks are not even showing that in some cases, sure some of them listed it but there are ones that didn't even listed it, I have seen as low as 1.04 and I think I have never seen 1.04 before, I have seen 1.05 but not 1.04, so it is obvious who will win. 1.22 is sportsbet.io and that makes the most sense, I think it is going to be decent and for a "trader" 22% profit is not bad for something so guaranteed, I do not see any possibility that bayern would lose and making 22% return on that is quite good.
2898  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - 🏈 🏈 The Big Game Streamed Live!! 🏈 🏈 on: February 11, 2021, 04:17:29 PM
Stake originals are provably fair. What you need to do to check the fairness of the outcome is to select "My Bets" here

Then, now, this is important, you have to click this

and then here

you click "Change". After that you go again to your game in "My Btes", click on it, and now, since the previously hashed Server Seed is revealed, you can click this

at the very bottom of the popped-up window, and check whether the picture there is identical to what you got with your roll.
Next, you can also click

and read more about the process of generating the outcome of your roll.
This is both great and also quite sad at the same time. Stake originals are safe and provably fair, we all know that however we can't say the same for the third party provider games and that really upsets me a lot, I hope that one day they will all become provably fair as well or at least fixed to a point where we end up having more and more originals replacing these third party apps, however I think after adding these, there is very slim chance that they would be removed unless something major happens.

I am pretty sure that we are going to end up with something quite cool, it will probably be both hundreds of original stake games plus the third party games that we could decide to play if we want to but can ignore because of many games originals have, but for now I just think it is quite sad that we know what provably fair is and have it as originals but stake decided to go with not provably fair foreign games.
2899  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Bought 1.5 B in Bitcoins on: February 10, 2021, 06:25:22 AM
After such information, all mainstream media will start talking about Bitcoin. In such a situation, I think the next resistance is at $100k rather than $60k.  Wink Cool Cool
I hope that what you are saying is what is going to really happen but there are a lot of hurdles to pass before the 100k is reached, Tesla's 1.5 billion USD is limited and the only thing that could make this 100k resistance happen is when people will follow Elon's lead and buy their own bitcoin.
Yeah, with Tesla accepting Bitcoins as a means of payment, things are looking very bright for the future and certainly more companies and giants are going to invest and that also means people who had sell orders might remove their orders since no one wants to sell an asset that is going bonkers.

Now my concern is, whether tesla is holding bitcoins with long term perspective or just what usually most institutional fund managers eye for short term benefits. Regardless of whatever their plan, I am too confident about more such big companies will follow in adopting bitcoins which may continue and get into full-fledged which will balance if some of those companies eye only short term benefits.
2900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The ADA moved the XRP to number 5 in the cryptocurrency capitalization rankings. on: February 09, 2021, 06:56:48 PM
Will we see further growth, or will everything stagnate at this point. Perhaps we should expect the return of the dark horse XRP?
I knew it was just a matter of time before we see XRP slacking behind, the law suit against them and everything has caused them to start falling, and a lot of investors are now moving their money to different coins.

I do not know for how long they are going to continue with this problem they are having, and the last time I read they said they are not going to follow the easy way by settling the SEC, rather they will prefer that they battle it out in court and it is taking a long time, the more it continues the more they are being affected by it just like it’s affecting them now. But if XRP can win this big battle, one thing for sure is that it will blow up, cause it’s going to be a big news.
