United is worse compared to Arsenal by probably all metricks but they will take points against top sides almost regularly. That is maybe the part Arteta has to learn. Sometimes against better teams leave the ball to them and try countering. Arsenal is great but still not on the level to go head to head against City or LFC.

Hope you took that Atletico win. I watched the game and I can't say it is undeserved. United had a bit more of the ball but only few real chances, 1:1 would have been the most fair result.
While we are at fair results, it seems Benfica robbed Ajax of their place in CL. According to the stats Ajax was much better team but Benfica goes trough. Would have never gotten this game correct. Ajax to not score at home, almost unheard of, especially this season.
basically, two weeks ago fair result would be 1:0 for Atletico, now it would be 1:1, and in the end it was "got some luck in Madrid, to lose it at home" for Manchester regarding Ajax, yeah, they seemed as clear favorite in this duel, but end-up getting kicked-out, would this influence their meltdown in Ere divisie, and letting title to PSV, probably a real shock for them Chelsea is already in, but Juventus is a great pick @2 |
