2881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always pump after sold holdings. on: August 14, 2021, 08:58:53 PM
I always experience this after taking profit and it’s normal because the market wont stop from pumping even if you sell your holdings.

Don’t feel bad because you already take profit but feel bad if you sell at a loss and then suddenly the price goes up, next time you have to be more patient and analyze the chart so you can know when to cut your losses and when to take profit.
2882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: August 14, 2021, 08:46:52 PM
Not knowing the time and the amount you wager or you bet is an indication of a addiction to me since you are not aware of what that simple thing and you are too focused in gambling soon you might even know that you already lost a big amount of money and probably you will realize that you can't even live without gambling.
Time limit is a good idea though its not easy to do especially if you’re in the middle of your excitement on casinos, you might not commit on the limit you have set up but still its not addiction yet. It you go beyond the budget, that is more alarming to me because it means you are spending a lot and because you are losing, you tend to withdraw from your funds and continue gambling, this is a bad situation for me that we should always avoid.
2883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Speculation for the Tron coin (TRX) on: August 14, 2021, 07:49:40 PM
I have my doubts on the price of Tron. When I look at the price chart on coinmarketcap, the opportunity to go up $0.15 is there, but not anytime soon. On the other hand I think that it is very likely that Tron coin will go down again.
We might not be able to see its price this year though as long as TRX stays in the market and remain competitive, the price can become more expensive and we might see $.15 by next year. Yes the price may correct again since the pump is not happening on all coins/tokens, if you see cheaper TRX again that could be a great opportunity for you to buy, TRX is good for long term hold.
2884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 14, 2021, 07:17:50 PM
Why is Manny Pacquiao still fighting? I am sure that he has earned enough to retire with over 60 boxing fights and a previous champion. I would not risk it if I was in his position and he risks losing his impressive record because he will not be as good as he was in his prime.
It’s not easy to give up the sports that you love and as per Manny, as long as he can he will still fight and this is not just about Money, this is also about loving the sports that changed your life for a better.

Yes, the risk of losing is always there and he might ended up on a bad situation, that’s why he trained a lot to become more fit and for sure, Manny will do everything to win.
2885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find Cardano upcoming projects? on: August 14, 2021, 06:48:59 PM
How would you go about finding new projects starting to build in cardano as smart contracts roll out?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
You can follow their social accounts and get updated every time there’s a new project under this network because they’ll post it ahead of time so investors can validate and analyze the project before they invest. ADA is a great network but I’m wondering why there’s still no big demands for this compare to other network.
2886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 14, 2021, 05:22:34 PM

Yes, NFT games are more about investments and you can earn by selling and playing the game so I don’t think it can be considered as gambling though I’ve heard some games ask for money first, I’m not sure though and if you can share that game that could be a great help. So far, Axie is the best NFT games and many investors are still coming to this platform, this is very popular in my place.

What if there are buyers and there is no liquidity, the life of any play to earn is the liquidity and if players cannot liquidate their inventory then the project will go down, once you invest money in any project and you are thinking of return of your investment, then it can be considered as gambling, the reason many are coming into Axie to invest is because of the profit.
I’d rather invest on a project that is more liquid because I want to get back my capital as soon as possible, this can only be considered as gambling if you took the risk but if not, there’s nothing to worry. Axie should be more stable and go for more liquidity, we all here for profit and fun as bonus.
2887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what's with "axie infinity"? on: August 13, 2021, 11:52:37 PM
are you just looking for profit? if you are just looking for profit you can't enjoy the game looking for fun you will stay there think profit is a fun bonus
That's right, profit should be considered as a bonus only but there are many group of axie infinity players that are profit oriented, that's why they also open scholarship for other people hoping to make some additional earning and what make axie infinity popular is that.
however axie infinity gameplay itself, the arena is really fun and competitive, so people can actually enjoy both the game and earning by playing.

that's why the price is increasing rapidly and persisting, because the interest of players is too big so far as it is still easy to get profits, axie easily attracts the attention of gamers who are in coin lovers, and existing altcoin hunters.
Now that players are forced to play more on Arena, I can say that this game are getting better and getting more fun because at first, I just play this to earn money and I know games are for fun but with the opportunities that we have in Axie, you have to play this one seriously. Axie grows bigger than what is expected, they are here a year now and still doing the best they can to provide quality games.
2888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 13, 2021, 11:33:51 PM
When NFT games started coming out it was really interesting but now i am not playing because the amount of money you need to shell out for a game is not worth it. I know many burned their money as well when the market had a huge correction and majority of the coins suffered a lot and the investors are not happy with the ways things are going. I would rather gamble in a casino rather than NFT games because of the initial capital.

Most NFT games are based on an investment system. like you can resell the items you get in the game or also sell your NFT assets to other people. and actually you don't lose assets because you will continue to be able to earn more. needed large capital sometimes is become barrier for people who just want to try nft games. what else in NFT is currently popular.

Yes, NFT games are more about investments and you can earn by selling and playing the game so I don’t think it can be considered as gambling though I’ve heard some games ask for money first, I’m not sure though and if you can share that game that could be a great help. 2889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there an app that shows you the real-time rates in profits and loss? on: August 13, 2021, 10:58:08 PM
Just use the app of exchange you are using, i think this is available on Binance app. Though if you still want other platform, you can try blockfolio this is the app that I’m using to monitor my holdings its free and very convenient to use. Having this kind of monitoring apps can help us more updated, go find the apps that suits your needs.
2890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 13, 2021, 10:50:22 PM
Only if you know how to control yourself at first you don’t need anyone to tell you to stop gambling because you are a responsible gambler but if you are already into gambling addiction then you should find your way out of that addiction. My family matters the most to me so if something bad happen with my gambling activities, I will always seek for their help and advices, that could be the best reason why I should stop gambling.
2891  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: August 13, 2021, 09:44:54 PM
No bitcoin no risk at all because you’re money is still in your wallet and there’s no chance for you to lose it so technically there’s no risk the only problem here is that, you are missing the opportunity to make money if you just invested that money to Bitcoin.

Cryptomarket is a risky market and for you to lessen the risk, you should invest on good projects and coins and having Bitcoin in your wallet can be a good assurance that you can still earn in the future. Taking profit with Bitcoin is fine, there’s no wrong to sell Bitcoin at all.
2892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolyNetwork Hacked, Rp8.6 Trillion Lost on: August 12, 2021, 11:34:40 PM
There's already existing topic with same discussion here, kindly to lock your topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353878.0

Anyway no need to worry about this hack since the hacker refund back the $600 million to Polygon, probably the hacker has been identified and not want to be jailed.
That’s a good thing, maybe an inside job and since this is blockchain technology, the team knows already who did this incident. Still, the system of Polynetwork is not that strong since the hackers was still able to get the money from them, they should improve it and do everything to secure the system.
2893  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 12, 2021, 10:59:12 PM

Wala ren kase way to confirm if may legit ba na scholar eh, pero yung iba pinopost nila ang mukha ng mga scholar nila, which I think is not good for me kase naeexpose ka sa mga bagay bagay. Anyway, if doubt ka naman sa manager na yun better no to follow his account and look for a good manager. Super hirap magapply ng scholarship, lalo na ngayon na medyo maliit na ang kikitain kase for sure magbabawas ng scholar.
2894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Paralympic Games? Ethical or not? on: August 12, 2021, 10:40:17 PM
If this is unethical, what more on the bets for Boxing and other fighting matches who are trying to destroy the opponent, that could be more unethical. Well, we all have different views about this one and if you think betting on Paralympic games will affect your emotion, better not to place your bet and just watch them fighting and proving that they are capable to play the game as well.
2895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Prices rises - Tx fees stay low? on: August 12, 2021, 09:59:04 PM
I'm not really trading, but who doesn't like more BTC by selling high and buying again "low"?
Am I wrong or is the mempool being pretty empty a REALLY bad sign for the 50%+ in Price?
Is this the last high for this year? Or am I being too paranoid after 2017  Grin
The market way unpredictable and you are just being paranoid, if you buy at a lower price there’s nothing to worry about Bitcoin you can sell it now at a higher price. We can’t say that this is the last pump because the market is getting better and you have to move on because 2017 was already part of our history and the situation right now is really different.
2896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 12, 2021, 08:58:33 PM
A 2 weeks preparation for Ugas is not enough to fight Manny, I don’t know why he accepted the offer but it looks like Manny is in serious business here and will do everything just to continue his fight by next week no matter who’s the opponent is. Manny already have a good trainings towards this fight, he is prepared for a great fight with Spence but suddenly the dramas starts to kick in. Ugas has no chance to beat Manny here, I’m expecting a knock out here.
2897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs, DEFI, NFTs, - what's next? on: August 11, 2021, 11:19:59 PM
NFT is the trend now and many are still focus on this so there’ll be no new project yet, since investors are still on NFT. We might see a new one once the hype on NFT is done, ride on it now before its too late.

This is not a hype though, because there’s a lot of good NFT and many already make good profit on that. Beware though on fake NFT games, there’s a lot of them out now in the market which is very normal in cryptomarket to see such scam projects.
2898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 11, 2021, 10:20:41 PM
Today seeing the results of the Sportsbet.io ⚽ Brazil v Spain prediction game:

I noticed that all the guys in the top 3 were at some point participating in the Bitcointalk Poker Series. Now, it's not that a lot of people were participating there, somewhere around 30 ppl max, so I started wondering is there a correlation.

What are your thoughts on this, guys?
Are you a gambler that only knows one game? I believe those are the real gamblers who plays a lot and places their bet on their favorite sports or team as well, but I don’t think skills correlate with each other because there’s no need for skills on sports betting, you just have to do your research and pray for your luck. We can gamble on any where as long as its legal, some are playing too many games and they loved it but I doubt that a gambler will only play one game for the rest of their gambling journey.
2899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotions should never be traded. on: August 11, 2021, 08:59:00 PM
Emotions is part of being human and being a trader, we tend to feel positive if the market is getting better and of course the opposite emotion if the market is dumping, which i believe is very normal. We just have to learn on how to control this one and use the right emotion on every situation. In trading, this is a learning process so don’t rush yourself to be emotionless just keep going and do your trades according to your plan and strategies, emotion can be your best weapon so use it the right way.
2900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu anyone? on: August 10, 2021, 11:11:56 PM
no it's not a real scam they are a meme coin joke a bit like dogecoin i have a bit of them but i don't think i'll ever be able to profit from them i will keep them for collection
Considered not a scam but a useless token that only depend on a hype. I’m not buying it anymore, if there’s no hype means no money so I’ll go for the best options now that can give a good profit to me. Btc is looking good now, same thing with ETH and there’s a lot of good altcoins that is on a green candles today, that can be your option. Look at the top in coinmarketcap, you’ll see a lot of opportunities there.
