This kind of information is very expensive and useful. I think there are nobody who search all crypto releases and share them for free. Look at hacked.com (they are not free). They provide pretty useful information about important things, releases, conferences and so on at cryptoworld.

If governments will identify investors and control every now and then the initial sence of ICO would gone I suppose(( But this will lead us to new type of ICO - decentralized ICO   I believe!

My choice for now is NEM. Reasons:
1. Comsa ICO will start 2nd October. It's based on NEM blockchain.
2. There are too many conferences will be at the end of September and early October.

There is a need of such kind of service, but it should be widespread (not just Chrome Extension) to be helpful. To be widespread you need to spend a lot of money and time. BTW this is the theme of one huge and useful project that can become tokenized through ICO as well))))

OmiseGo is very strong project! Even now while there is big correction due to China fake news it is still near to his global high.
QTUM is another very promising projects wich has as strong and huge team and idea as nobody else.

Government regulation of crypto and ICO isn't bad. If world changes, if world's government regulation will become true the world coin cap will grow immideately because big money will come to this industry. I think forecasts about $2kB market capitalization in 1-5 years isn't dream! It's fact.

To get answers for all your questions we need to understand what means good cryptocurrency.
If you want to earn money - use altcoins. Some of them have much more volatility, than BTC. This means more chances to earn pretty fast. In this case usually you have more risk to lose. It depends on your experience and so on.
If you want just save and increase money for long term - choose BTC. It's like a gold in cryptoworld.
