New YouTube Channel

Images and animated gifs are only a lil cool.

Let's get Epic hempy here:
https://www.youtube.com/user/TheHempCoin

Send me your videos, testimonials, instructions, songs, cartoons or anything that you have.

If you do not have anything please go on http://www.fiverr.com/ and buy a cool video for $5. Or spend $10 and get something really amazing. Whatever you send I will post. If you like what you send me I will post it. Let's get a popular channel, get young people who use youtube using this coin and get the videos shared all over facebook.

.

Thanks for setting up this channel with your amazing art work.

I just bought a video from this guy:
http://www.fiverr.com/tuneman/record-a-pro-killer-60-sec-audio-or-video-voiceover-testimonial-or-voice-over

fiverr actually lets you pay with BTC or paypal. I paid 0.0108 BTC for the video. I will send it to you once I get it in a few days.

I would love to see some cool younger marketing material. Especially some material that would get females into the coin. I think one of the important things is to get brand new young people into the hemp coin. Make this be the first crypto that they have ever owned.

Just a heads up for anyone interested in this coin. I think that big miners was using an ASIC and is dumping. There are extremely cheap THC on cryptoaltex right now, cheaper than mining it. Great buying opportunity for people that don't mine.

cheers

Dang! It went down to 27 satoshi. I had a nice fat 26 satoshi buy order set up for any stupid person that wanted to sell to me that low. I guess they were stupid but not that stupid.

- scrypt heats up your home to the temperature of a sauna.

- scrypt makes it sound like you live across the street from an airport.

- scrypt has you paying up fat wads of cash to the electric company.

I used to just accept all that because there was no alternative.

x11 is amazing. Have you not tried mining an x11 coin yet?

I am not sure if x11 will send us to the moon but it should get the price up to 5 cents a coin pretty fast. The moon is probably 3 to 20 years away. As far as I know, every single GPU miner wants to mine x11. It is going to bring in a ton of new miners. I actually can't mine hempcoin at night. It gets so hot mining scrypt that I can't sleep. I have to mine hempcoin in the day and switch to an x11 coin at night.

yeah my calculator 0 button was sticky and didn't add the zero. It is dark and I didn't notice. Messed up the answer.

1.2 blocks a day with a 10 hr sounds good to me.

I haven't found any blocks in the last 24 hours so hopefully I find three blocks tonight.
2886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MRO] Monero - Anonymous Currency Based on Ring Signatures - CPU only on: May 01, 2014, 06:46:10 AM
Can someone post that calculation to see how many coins I should mine a day.

your hash rate * 60 * 60 * 24 * block reward / difficulty

current block reward is 17.27
current difficulty is 670000

Luck will play a large role.

so this calculation is wrong?

Current network hashrate is diff / 60
so (your_hr / network_hr) * (24 * 60) = number of blocks per day

Someone has some serious mining power.

and is 1 worker Tongue

It could be an ASICs. Moving to x11 is a great choice.

When do you think you are going to release the new block explorer?

I would recommend this one:

Ok, it is working again.  Took about 45 minutes this time.   Undecided

Also with a better hashrate than before.

Yes, most Windows users should see a higher hashrate with the new build. You can thank NoodleDoodle. Smiley

almost doubled my hashrate Cheesy

+1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hashrate went from 4.2 to 7.8 on my 8 core AMD running at 80%.

Hashrate stayed the same on my 4 year old i5 intel which is getting 2.4 running at 75%.

half a month, without a miner, a pool and GUI.
How can i play with this coin?
I really want to get in, but it's so difficult to me!

half a month? it's been 5 days only

The block chain says it started about 19 days ago.

Not getting much hashrate on windows 8.1 and an 8 core AMD processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113284

CPU working at 90% and getting hash rate of 4.8

Is this what I should be getting? I have left it mining now for 2 hours.

you guys gonna make a dice site or casino? dopecoin and potcoin already have

Isn't buying cryptocoins the best gamble of all? 99% chance of winning 100x your money on cryptocoins (jk but maybe its true). Why would anyone want to ever waste their money at a casino when they can buy cryptocoins instead!

I do not think there are plans for a casino that accepts hemp coins. I do not think the community wants it either.

It would also be a waste of time because very soon someone will make a casino that can accept any cryptocoin and it will end up being a big success. You will then just tell the casino to accept THC, they allow it if they think it is good enough and bamn you can then gamble with THC if you are dumb enough to want to lose THC over time.

If someone wants to make it... go ahead. I do not think there is a market for it with the hemp coin community.

I think it is better for the long term growth of this coin that it didn't grow as fast as it started to grow a few days ago. It started getting too big too fast. Too many people who didn't support the coin were starting to mine just so they could dump it once it turned to x11.

I would rather have the true supporters, like placebo and the other people who started mining this week, get the coins.

This natural organic growth is what will create a long life for the coin.

Keep the votes coming on mintpal. 8000 is a lot of votes. Do not be discourage by the loss of the other votes.

242 MRO mined so far with 14 cores in Win 7 during 72h.

Do you have instructions for how to have the bitmonerod.exe running with 1 wallet on 1 windows computer and have all the other computers on that router mining into that 1 wallet through that 1 bitmonerod.exe?

For people looking to sync their linux machines, I have uploaded a recent blockchain.bin here: DOWNLOAD

Where do I put this file blockchain.bin? This is going to take forever to sync.

I type "save" and "exit" but I do not see blockchain.bin anywhere.

It's in .bitmonero

exit the node, put the file you downloaded from the above link into that directory, and then restart the node

Sorry, I forgot to tell you I am on windows. Will this file work for me?
I think just put it in the appdata bitmonero folder instead of .bitmonero.

That is where the file is located but the linux blockchain.bin must be a bit different I get "incompatible native format - size of long"

I will just wait 5 hours and download the blockchain myself.

Yes of course. I was looking for a monero folder instead of the bitmonero.

Why are you all wasting your mining power on a 2% taxed coins. Who cares if it is the first x11 + POS. The difficulty of this coin is going to be 5 in just 2 weeks.
