2881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: April 20, 2019, 05:09:05 PM
A listing without any work and plans do kill the coin on listing.
A coin or token should be frozen until the projects starts making a profit and delivering dividends to its user or at least reaches in a position to do so.
2882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: April 20, 2019, 04:18:08 PM
164 target for Delhi Capitals. Totally achievable. That spectacular catch changed the game towards the side of Delhi, that was a bad omen for Gayle and Punjab and a good one for Delhi. Though defendable, with the last three of their match conceding over 170 runs, I would not bet for the Punjab bowlers.
2883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: April 20, 2019, 03:52:29 PM
I do both of them. I'd like to hodl the coins I think would be worth a lot when time comes. 75% of my crypto assets are for hodling. As well I  maintain a number of Altcoins, Bitcoin and USD fixed alts and exchange them in and out often to cash in profits from the day to day price fluctuations.
2884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reducing scam on: April 20, 2019, 02:30:25 PM
In order to reduce crypto related scam and save the money of its people, every countries should come forward with regulations to check any companies issuing an ICO within their jurisdiction are doing as they had stated and only allow them to issue an ICO when at least 25% of their initial funding and development had been made by the team or private investors.
2885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: April 20, 2019, 02:17:43 PM
Gambling is as old as human civilization. Gambling is older than money.
Gambling is an essential part of at least one festivities in every part of world.
So, Gambling is entertainment for Gamblers.

2886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: April 20, 2019, 02:15:04 PM
Cocks fight are interesting to watch and bet. The perspective of ant fight is small. People would not be able to watch that live and would not be interested to watch them on TV screens. And the Ants and dumb and has very few moves. It would be like betting your money on e-sports. But people bet of e-sports, than there would be people betting on ant fight too.
2887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: April 20, 2019, 02:00:39 PM
I'm having a similar experience, I invested about $2400 in crypto for a single cryptocurrency. I thought it was bound to be success and has every right ingredients to be another top 10 currency. But I was wrong, the value of that currency plummeted leading to about $200 in total valuation. But with increase in overall price of crypto, the valuation of that coins have now reached $1000 and I'm not going to sell it unless I get a good amount of profit for the time I hodled my coin.

2889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 130 dollar airdrop on: April 07, 2019, 04:36:22 AM
I whitelisted myself but I didn't found any reference to the airdrop or amount of airdropped tokens from the exchange itself. I'd be happy to share my KYC for $130 as I've already done that for much less but I don't think a new exchange would be giving users that amount in airdrop.
2890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you saw this guy would you punch him in the face? on: April 07, 2019, 04:32:10 AM
I bet he's talking for good. He may have difference in thoughts about how to achieve that good but he certainly is much more experienced about economics than we ever would be. We all can't know everything and it's never late to learn.
2891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALL crypto coins are "worthless" right now. Here is why. on: April 06, 2019, 03:52:27 AM
Future doesn't mean a high price. It's true that cryptocurrency are the future. But they would be for new ones. There is no sense of bitcoin rising to one cent for satoshi. Even if it did, than no one would be using it and it would be nearly impossible to mine which on the other hand would restrict the use. The future would be of large highly scalable zero or low fees coins.
2892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Stablecoins have a future? on: April 06, 2019, 03:47:20 AM
Stable coins would be an important part of cryptocurrency economics. With the unsuitability of crypto, we can't risk to put everything on a volatile coin while we can not even risk to keep on exchanging them to and from the fiat. So, stable coins are needed. Stable coins would be the future of day to day transactions. They would be the supplement to fiat currency.
2893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is with the BitTorrent thing ? on: April 05, 2019, 12:34:00 PM
Vitalik is a true crypto enthusiast. Though he might have been wrong in a lot of stances, though he rarely speaks and when he does, he never fails to speak out his mind.
He have talked good about many coins, suggested problems of some, solutions for some and is not just a blind follower of ethereum but also a critic.
2894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What functionality of ICO dashboard is important for the project? on: April 05, 2019, 12:10:28 PM
The thing I want from an ICO dashboard is a link to receiving wallet/s. It's good to be following them. An regular update and news would help.
I'd also love to see if the partnership they promised are real, so a link to those agreements and documents would be helpful.
And an introduction to the people involved and their social profile makes me feel more secure.
2895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A true crypto enthusiast must be courageous on: April 04, 2019, 03:44:38 AM
A risky investor should be courageous.
Crypto currency and blockchain technology are the future. True crypto enthusiastic were never in dilemma and nor will be. The price of certain crypto currencies might be in turbulent path but the blockchain technology has been rapidly improving, evolving and adapting.
2896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Impacts of IEOs on the crypto-ecosystem on: April 04, 2019, 01:08:22 AM
Its an important issue you've raised. Crypto is a new economic frontier and there had been new experiments every time.
But with IEO, failure of them would also affect the exchanges, their credibility and trust. Though exchanges do make sure to state they are not involved and risk remains about investment, people would not view it as so.

2897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite mining algorithm? on: April 03, 2019, 03:40:49 PM
The real algorithm I've used to mine the most is cryptonight.
Cryptonight is an effective solution for decentralization and anonymity. There were many attempts to produce industry grade hardware for mining cryptonight as well but most of it's popular coins went through upgrades to ensure they were mined using only CPU and GPUs.
2898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO are good for startups seeking funding. Is IEO efficient enough? on: April 03, 2019, 03:38:00 PM
IEO are just ICO with partnership with exchanges. They are no different than any other ICOs but the exchanges that they are hosted on promises to have thoroughly investigated about the project and are green signaled as useful. So, there IEOs have better exposure with potential buyers.
2899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does ICO projects became an April Fools? on: April 02, 2019, 04:17:39 PM
There has been an active team of scammer who are using ICOs as a mean of scamming money out of people.
These scammers is one of the reasons why crypto is not recovering as thought it would be.
There was a time when people blindly believed crypto would make them rich but with changing time people have realised that ICOs are just another investment option.
2900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think the bear market is over for some coins on: April 01, 2019, 04:19:17 AM
The crypto market surely has become stable. Bitcoin is holding around while some of new ICO tokens have seen impressive growth. With investors being more cautious about their investment, poorly planned ICO are on decreasing trend and ICOs are shifting towards popular exchanges to attract real investors.
