whats the ETA on blockcypher??

whats the ETA on blockcypher??

Hi,

Once the funding it complete by the commmunity for the Blockcypher, it will take 24-48 hours for blockcypher to be implemented.

Krushang

Seriously? It will take that short of a time to implement? How much more do you need?

Hey , we are now before stage 3 Smiley BlockCypher is stage 6 but yes when the funds will be collected it will be implemented almost straight away

Check our Roadmap in the op and latest announcment :

>> UPDATE <<

Hi All,

Saturdays are never a dull day at Fibre!!

BlockCypher Crowd Funding

As some of you may be aware, the final stage on our roadmap is to implement Block Cypher. Block Cypher will take the Fibre Block Chain and move it a secure, scalable and resiliant infrastructure in the cloud. This will allow us to develop some very innovation applications. Multi Sig, Multi Wallets, Lite wallets, Web based wallets, Mobile Wallets, Facebook Wallets are all made possible with BlockCypher. Fibre is run like an enterprise IT department, so why not have an enterprise grade infrastructure supporting fibre. The cost of BlockCypher is 6,000 USD so about 12BTC. We will be using a trusted community member or Block Cypher themselves to Escrow the donation funds. This is to give our community security and to prevent scam accusation fuding.

To show our commitment and the fact we are all one. Team fibre will be donating 0.25btc per team member, 1btc in total. I hope anyone that has profited from the rise of Fibre will do the same. Having Block Cypher will take Fibre to the next level, all the crazy prices quoted by the community will become a reality.

The Crow funding will start at 5pm BST (GMT+1) on 08/09/14

Guys,

I promise you that block cypher will allow Fibre to have some of the most innovative features in any of the Alt Coins. Which leads on to our next announcement...................

HTML5 Wallet

I have secured a deal with True_Asset of URO Coin, a HTML5 Web wallet will be ready for launch of block cypher. The Web wallet will be based on his NURO Wallet code, please see below. This is a massive deal for Fibre and will only accelerate the donations received for the Crowd Funding. We will be able to brand the wallet as we see fit, e.g FibreWeb WebFibre etc. This decision will be made by the FibreBoard. The nuro wallet also has a facebook module that will also see a Facebook wallet follow shortly afterwards.

The NURO platform works on all smartphones, tablets and PCs, and can be published on Google Play, the Apple App Store, Windows Store, Windows Phone Store, Chrome Web Store, Tizen Store, Amazon Appstore, Firefox Marketplace, NOOK Apps and the Facebook App Center. This will give Fibre an unprecedented reach.

Please see some of the features it brings to consumers:

  • Accounts are accessible on all devices simultaneously, anywhere in the world.
  • Unlimited free accounts for funds separation (e.g. savings, cheque, investment, retirement).
  • Accounts can be opened by anyone, with no paperwork or no application process.
  • Lowers transaction processing times from days to minutes compared to traditional internet
    banking solutions.
  • Transactions are processed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, even during public holidays.
  • Convenient payment request creation via QR code, email and SMS.
  • Zero Knowledge Privacy (ZKP) technology completely avoids the storage and
transmission of usernames, passwords and PIN codes. This ensures the user’s credentials are
never eavesdropped or stolen, even when the server is compromised.
  • Open source code ensures independently verifiable security to avoid possible hidden
vulnerabilities, trust issues and other risks associated with commercial closed-source
    financial products.
  • Employs BlockCypher (blockcypher.com) cloud architecture to reduce loading times from
20 seconds to 2 seconds compared to the standard “blockchain” wallets.
  • Includes capability to support point-of-sale and fiat currency exchange solutions.[/b][/i]
Please have a look at the NURO wallet to see how powerful it is.

Try it now.

Road Map Update

FibreOS (Provional Release Date: 13/09/14)

FibreOS is nearing completion, we hope to have it with the Private beta testers early next week. If all of the testing is successful we hope to launch on the saturday (13/09/14). Anyone with a PC or laptop will be able to use FibreOS. FibreOS running from a USB will act as true cold storage, your coins will follow you wherever you go. All traffic is routed via TOR giving the user increased anonymity. When you unplug your USB stick no trace is left on the host PC.

Tor Support

We have TOR support fully integrated into the Fibre Wallet. However at this time it would require a hard fork to update the network. Bobby6Killers is working on it and hopes to have an alternative solution that does not require a hardfork. This is another decision that will be made by the board. Should we find a solution, we will release TOR support strait away.
XC Mixer

We are making really good progress on implementing the XC mixer into the Fibre source code, this may not need to be crowd funded if we can implement it our selfs. We would love to have Dan Metcalf come in and implement the latest XC mixer, but he is not cheap and im sure he is very busy. These decisions will be made once the board is in affect.

FibreBoard

For those that are not aware, Fibre will be the first digital currency to have an Advisory Board formed from it's community that actually have the power to make a difference. The FibreBoard will be made up of 17 community members that have more than 10,000 Fibre. Myself, Bobby6Killers and Krushang are auto entry, so 20 members in total. The FibreBoard will collectively make decisions on the future of Fibre and which features should be implemented. All major decisions affecting Fibre will be voted on by the board. The board members will be selected based on various metrics with commitment thus far being the major one.

Applications will open tomorrow, please keep an eye on the thread.

This day will go down in history..........

** The rules will be further defined once the board members are selected.

Regards

Killa

Thank You Bierworst

We appreciate Your help and it won`t be forgotten Smiley

Dear people who are reading this,

i have personally been with a different coin for a very very long time, but now i am with Fibre and i am happy i am.
What i know from my past is that whenever a coin needs funding, you have to do it as early as possible, as people will get attached to their coins and the value

if you believe in thia coin you believe that the price will rise, but it will only rise if it is funded in developments. Right now the team needs thousands of dollars of funding to get to the last roadmap stages. These thousands of dollars are based on something.

So what i as a community member would like to ask you, is to donate some of your coins of some of your btc to these addresses
As i quote a team member, please to be sure check to addresses for yourself in the comments. Never trust addresses a community member puts up
"Please send btc donations to the address below. Please include your BitcoinTalk name or social network handle, as we will be creating a thanks page for donations soon!

1KckoFSB1gAed8HuXEQygbRHCoJFjvzwSB

Please send Fibre donations to the address below.

F8htgcNftaCU2aSJYUrPzNDdtzpK1Ap3Jg"

I personally will be sending 77 fibre, that would be about 15 dollar or so. They only need about 300 people to get this done, and the more the less needs to be given.

It is your own choice but remember

a coins price will not rise well funded if a coin is not being developt, so be wise and just donate a little bit

Cheers, a community member

Thank You for support !

It's odd that my status says I entered four times, when I did not, unless they are counting all the actions to get confirmation. Also, I honestly don't remember providing my wallet addy, but had I not, would that have allowed confirmation? If there are some not getting coins, will we get notification or will we just not get coins? Will there be an accounting of the distribution of coins or do we just have faith things are being handle through the responses of a few folks? Not sure we are going to see 1000 responses here on the site lol.

Facebook liking was like one entry , tweet another , address addy another , following another so if You did all 4 entries You got 10.92 Fibre

Send me Your address through PM and will check it For You

When the time lets i will make a list of all transactions

For now i have 100+ still more to do

maybe just 8-11 Fibre per person,, and total giveaways 10k,,,
only 1000 lucky people to get it
I hope they don't do it like that.

They did and I see no problem with it.

Received on this end...much appreciated!
I would've preferred a lottery but this works fine too.

Exact amount of Fibre was set for each entry , 10000 / number of real entries gave these calculations :

1 share - 2.73

2 shares - 5.46

3 shares - 8.19

4 shares - 10.92

Heh yes me and Krush had about 500+ single transactions to do each Smiley

Yeah Keycoin has KeyOS thats already been released like a week or two ago.

Ok guys i just made about 400 transactions as of now Smiley

Have to go sleep , will send the rest tomorrow

Wow that means nearly 1000 people signed up! Congratz on that Fiber, those people will feel like they want more.
https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-FIBREWink

>>UPDATE<<

Yes the giveaway was a real success and the social element was a master stroke!! Just check the twitter and facebook!! We have built a large social following in a very short period of time.

It has been very time consuming due to the high volume of fraudulent entries. I located over 2000 entries from cross referencing the IP, Email, Names of Social network pages. Some of the scammers put a lot of effort into this one. I take my hat off too you lol!! One very clever person created around 200 entries with completely different IP's, Email addresses, the names used, everything looked super legit. Hes limited knowledge of Crypto let him down!! As he used the same wallet address. Smiley

I created a script that would automate the distribution process, but in the end it was not bullet proof as there had not been enough testing. So Krushang and Mxxxxxx are sending them out manually 500+ payments each. So just bare with us..................Everyone will get their coins!!

Thanks for everyones support!!

People are finally starting to believe what i have been saying for 3+ weeks!!

Regards
Killa

Exactly Smiley

When they see that you released first altcoin operating system they will be begging you to let them add you.

What kind of operating system are they building? What is it going to do? I honestly don't know much about this project.

Basic info for FibreOS can be found only for now on roadmap picture Smiley

We are still reviewing all entries , massive amounts of entries were disqualified

More fibre for honest people Smiley will be updating You about progress

How about the Social Giveaway. does anybody receive the Social GIVEAWAY YET?

Have a look http://www.fibrecoin.com/socialgiveaway/ you will see in nice red text:
**Your Fibre will be sent once the giveaway end at 23:59 on the 9/10/2014

We have received a massive amount of fraudulent entries! More than I ever imagined so in order to ensure fair distribution and to protect against dumps. We will be manually reviewing every applicant.

Check the wallet address, the giveaway coins are still there! We always stick to our promises.

Lol honestly I was not a big fan of this giveaway and now that we have a lot of fraudulent entries it confirms my suspicion.

We could've used that money for better promotional purposes.
