2881 Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always go through CMC when trying to find info about a project, avoid fake links on: March 31, 2022, 09:39:47 AM
Coinmarketcap have the right information you seek for.

Coinmarketcap may have the right information you are looking for but CMC is definitely not the only platform with such information. The CMC is a commercial service owned by Binance exchange, which means that most of the information and promotions that are published by the company are aimed their profit-making ambitions. This sometimes makes them appear to provide less useful or credible information. This is one of the reasons why we usually suggest users to look for information on other channels and from different sources, such as Coingecko, as well.

2883 Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 Review Campaign 🔥 on: March 31, 2022, 08:09:42 AM
very misleading and vague, it should have been made clear so as not to waste people's time, the way it's worded is not a requirement but a recommendation to talk about deposits...

What's misleading or vague about it? A review should be about your experience at the casino. How can you have a gaming experience without making a deposit? In fact, superficial reviews without any actual gaming experience can be considered misleading and vague.

@_livecasino.io_, if possible, I would also like to reserve a place. My review will follow soon.

Ninjaastic.space and Loyce.Club are third-party scripts. If they slow down the bitcointalk forum, we would all be affected. I don't know what problems you are facing, but why would anyone block you specifically?
These scripts and the forum engine are deeply integrated with each other. You just don't realize all of their possibilities

Nope. LoyceV's and TryNinja's scripts only scrape information from bitcointalk.org forum. That is, they're doing exactly what you and I are doing as we read these pages, but in a much more effective and automated way. They have no integration with this forum's engine.

Look at this. Loycev was caught on a words that such a feature is possible if it make a request on it
<cut>

It's called sarcasm.
2885 Other / Archival / Re: The forum engine selectively slows down forum access on: March 30, 2022, 05:27:42 PM
Yo're a high experienced coders and you are capable of writing slowing scripts. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to create ninjastic or loyceclub

Now you're just acting stupid. This isn't how the Internet works!

@Excimer, no one really cares what you think.

Somewhat off-topic question. Attention-seeking whore or just a regular forum troll? Is there a difference at all?
2888 Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: March 29, 2022, 04:57:51 PM
Maybe so they have this bad images on the forum but I have used this bookmaker before with no issues.
And it is true no kyc needed

No one disputes that some gamblers had no issues using the platform. Even I tested the platform with a small amount. It's their handling of controversial issues that's causing us problems here. There is a reason for their bad reputation on the forum. They have been dishonest with this community and have been caught lying many times.

But, for discussion's sake, when was the last time you used this bookmaker? How much did you win?

Maybe you should start by explaining your connection to these accounts:

2890 Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: March 29, 2022, 10:08:32 AM

2891 Other / Meta / Re: Subject review and feedback on: March 29, 2022, 09:51:47 AM
My vote is: No

After carefully reading all the arguments, my opinion is that such a campaign does not violate community rules (guidelines) when it comes to inciting unsubstantial posting. As some have already mentioned, if review posts are authentic, factual and well written then they do not violate community rules, and there should be no problem. However, I partially agree with @icopress; it would probably be best to open a separate thread for such a campaign in the Services or Service Discussion board. We should avoid potential arguments against excessive ANN thread bumping. From what I understand, the mpreps' opinion is aligned with this one as well.

I would just like to add that we had a similar discussion last year, in the case of El duderino_'s BTC price prediction game. And to quote words from the big man himself:

<cut>
Almost all rules are subject to mod discretion. The reason for the rule against games with incentivized posting outside of "Games & Rounds" is to prevent unfair/excessive bumping and "last-posts"-filling except in "quarantine" sections which people can ignore. In El duderino_'s games:
- El duderino has no incentive to cause spammy replies. The prize is a true gift.
- The game has a pretty high entry requirement which prevents the replies from actually becoming spammy.
- El duderino_ very much prefers that the games be in Speculation rather than Games & Rounds.

Therefore, it's most appropriate in this case to apply mod discretion and make an exception to the rules as written; El duderino_'s future games of this sort can stay in Speculation.

So, to paraphrase the same arguments here, it is my belief:
- Royse777 (and [banned mixer]) have no incentive to cause spammy replies.
- The campaign has a pretty high entry requirement which prevents the replies from actually becoming spammy.
- Royse777 would rather have this thread in some other section than Games & Rounds. (I am just speculating here based on what has been said so far)

Ban Evasion:

Accounts Connected:
1. fromthemetaverse [banned]
2. hashratesandall [banned]

Proof:

Please read carefully below;

If you have an old blockchain wallet account that keeps asking you for a second password (although you never had any or don't remember putting any) to let you log in and denies you access every time you put any; I can help you access that account if you still have the 1st correct password and know the email address you registered with; You can come to me for help only if you are 200% helpless and clueless and are 200% sure that you can't get help from blockchain.com support or anyone that you know. I can be your last resort and I will help you have access to the account but for that I will charge you 50% of whatever crypto that is left inside the account. I can prove myself to you if you can provide me any dummy account prior to accessing the one in question. This means you can provide me any blockchain account with zero cryptos inside that is in a similar situation. I will prove to you that I really can do what I say and let you check out that dummy account first.
Being able to retrieve 50% of whats in a crypto wallet is better than having nothing to retrieve at all from a wallet.

So, Come to me only when you have tried elsewhere and didn't get any result. Like you are totally helpless and tried every method in the book and have nothing to lose ; only then you should come to me and check me out.

To mi pravilo iskreno nikad nije bilo jasno.

2894 Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: March 28, 2022, 10:39:14 AM

You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.

2895 Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Bitcoin Secret Revealed on: March 28, 2022, 09:53:57 AM
Your opinions on me are irrelevant. Show me bitcoins given you're the one claiming they exist. When someone says they own bitcoins, all they are able to show are numbers next to their address. These numbers supposedly express the quantity of their coins. But where are the coins? Where are the bitcoins? I examined the Satoshi's system and I didn't find them. You claim they exist. So where are they?

As I said before, there are no physical Bitcoins. They are digital data stored on a public ledger. And that's it. You can't argue that something doesn't exist just because you can't see it.
You're pretty pathetic with this generic phrases. You say bitcons are "digital data stored on a public ledger". But what is stored are addresses and numbers. So your claim is factually incorrect.

In fact, this statement is factually correct, but you are unable or unwilling to comprehend. Your problem, not ours. As I told you before, stating that the Sun does not exist because you are visually impaired is not a statement of fact.

There are no bitcoins on a public ledger. You repeatedly claim that bitcoins exist and then all you are doing is showing address with the supposed quantities of bitcoins. But not bitcoins themselves. So, I where are they? You're claiming they exist and you're required to support your claim.

As you know, bitcoins are digital. All that is digital does not exist in physical form, as we've been telling you time and time again. You really don't get it?

Sir, I made that mistake. Give me a chance, I promised I would never make such a mistake again. Please forgive me for my mistake

What mistake are you referring to exactly? It seems there were quite a few of them.

Am I missing something?

I couldn't watch the whole thing live because it was too late for me, but did this shit really happen?

I can't say whether it was staged or not. It seems real, especially considering the language and what happened later. Anyhow, it was a bad joke for my taste, but a physical assault, especially during a live broadcast, isn't acceptable either.
2898 Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 24/03/2022 on: March 26, 2022, 08:43:00 AM
Congrats everyone on the impressive merit milestones! Especially to @LoyceV for 10k, @o_e_l_e_o for 9k, @fillippone for 8k, @Elduderino_ for 8k, @DdmrDdmr for 7k and @Ratimov for 7k. You guys (and many others ofc) are the reason why the forum is so much fun! Keep it up everyone! The merit race to 20k has begun. Wink

It won't be long before you have a pretty nice merit record yourself. I'd keep an eye on that one if I were you. Wink
2899 Other / Meta / Re: What happened to the forum plagiarism rules? on: March 26, 2022, 08:35:05 AM
This is an important issue your raised here. I have only ever reported a post for plagiarism a few times but the most recent one (yesterday) was reported by other users long before I reported it.

FatFork was the forum member that highlighted this issue about samputin but that post has not been removed and that user has not been temporarily/permanently banned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg59327375#msg59327375
<cut>

I am unable to confirm what happened to that report anymore, however I believe it remained unhandled. Even the post itself remained intact.
In my opinion, it looks like blatant case of plagiarism, so I am not sure why the moderators disagree.
2900 Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Gambling Review Site on: March 25, 2022, 09:58:12 PM
I agree with opinions about 1xbit. You should reconsider giving them such a high score after the reviews on this forum. It's actually funny that you review the casino as great and then come to gather opinions on the forum where this exact casino is reviewed as scam. Is this your way of defending them.

Also, the reviews look like they're not written by a native English speaker. You tend to write a lot of short sentences that don't give a feel of reading a whole article but a collage of different facts.
As a whole the site isn't bad but you could really improve it with a little work.
Obviously, it's paid. 1xbit will do in everything in their watch to cover their reputation by doing paid with good reviews. That's why you will always see these kind of review websites give extraordinary amount of numbers as a high score in reviews.

Mostly, people behind these review websites are not familiar in this forum, because if he did and thinks quality is over quantity principle, 1xbit will not get a high ratings like that.

Maybe it's a paid promotion or maybe it's just promoting sites with the best affiliate terms. Whatever the reason, this is not a review site that can be relied upon for unbiased and legitimate information.

The site has nothing to do with real reviews, and is nothing more than a front for ads. I wouldn't put any credence into this, especially not any legit review content, simply because it's a cheap ploy for clickbait. This is a blatant advertisement site that will promote whatever they can to garner traffic and clicks.
