2881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Just Legalized Bitcoin on: February 17, 2022, 11:09:12 PM
Bitcoin is a safe haven for countries that have Eco's of war. But, it's not a new thing when Government Ban or Legalize bitcoin because people can still utilize their coins in different manners in the country where it's legalized or banned. Ukraine will see no much changes in their economy despite the recent news about bitcoin. I don't think it's something to celebrate though, unless for the few other citizens of Ukraine that will start using bitcoin for the first time in the country.
2882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be accepted for tax payments in Colorado on: February 17, 2022, 10:59:20 PM
This news is a huge acceptance of bitcoin in the United States where so many people didn't believe in bitcoin. Paying taxes in bitcoin will boost the usage of bitcoin in Colorado and citizens of the State will discuss the implementation of bitcoin to other Citizens in different states. Such topics among people in the USA will help disseminate the usage of bitcoin in USA. The Government of Colorado will have to fight with the volatility of bitcoin and also wait to see the other side of bitcoin the fact that their tax can increase while in the wallet where it'll be saved.
2883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN FUNDRAISING FOR OTTAWA TRUCK DRIVERS on: February 17, 2022, 06:39:54 AM
The decentralized means of donations is all good. But, on the other flip, the funds cannot be shared the way it's been said in the article. They are only a few set of people in control of the funds and must have spent some bitcoin on their personal interest without the consent of the truck drivers. The truck drivers should have a bitcoin address where all the money will be disseminated among them to handle whatever damages the protest have cost them.

Than promising to utilize the bitcoin by percentage. It will take a long time to detect how the holders of the bitcoin spent the money if the truck drivers will have to wait for them to handle the damages and pay for fuel and other maintenance. I hope they achieved the goal of the protest though. Because distributing money saved in bitcoin will not go so accurate as expected by the group.
2884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscars to include Fan-Favorite Film via Twitter on: February 17, 2022, 05:56:27 AM
Before Oscar chose twitter they must have gone through all these thoughts and found that it's not easy to spam twitter with bots. Their API will be monitored and twitter has a specific time for different kinds of actions. If multiple accounts carry out many votes the system will definitely ban those accounts because their actions look like it's bot and many times the accounts will be subjected by twitter to verify if it's a bot or not. The only way to get out of this is by drip feeding the actions from time to time which will make it difficult for twitter to detect such malicious voting. Moreover, Twitter is more secured than other social medias like Instagram in terms of bot activities that's why Oscar may have chosen them for the Fan favorite Film voting.
2885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto space is a land of possibilities on: February 16, 2022, 10:14:47 PM
They are lot of impossibilities in the cryptocurrency space; the coins you listed above have been anticipated to hit the $1 peak for years but, it's been impossible for doge coin. Sometimes, you should look at the reaction of other people on a particular project before investing into it. Most of the people who frown at a specific project must have invested into the project but, didn't get a positive result after a long while of waiting for the coin to become profitable. It's a wrong advise for newbies to continue waiting for a coin that the price keeps bleeding.

The best thing to say instead is to look out for projects that have a wide acceptance like Ethereum and invest into it. Knowing that you are holding a better coin that will yield profits along side with bitcoin. Calling out doge coin as a coin that will do wonders (something I'm not doubting) is not conducive for newbies because they may not endure the wait before they quit. Such experience has made a lot of investors to think that other cryptocurrencies are like the doge coin.

You should write fictional story.

I think Op is seeing the future and anything can happen on earth if some of Nostradamus critic stories happened then, I think that something similar to what Op just stated can also come to past if the government starts to notice that the world is heading to a one currency era where the whole world circulates at one currency the cryptocurrency and the whales getting unexpected power. It sounds funny, but fiction always sounds funny but, when it comes to play people will refer back to when it was stated by someone in the forum. Definitely, non of us will be here to testify if such a war later happened on Earth though.
2887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most reliable coin to invest in is Bitcoin. on: February 16, 2022, 09:28:46 PM
I think the bitcoin price will increase after the month of February when the Asians will round up their new year. In the past, I remember that most Asians who hodl bitcoin sold a lot of their bitcoin during their New year season to buy gifts for their loved ones. This happened in 2018 when bitcoin price dropped from $20k down to $11k. February is a significant month in the bitcoin price history except for last year when Elon Musk and other whales pumped the price of bitcoin to an unexpected ATh. It's better to hold bitcoin than any other Alt because majority of the people go for bitcoin and when people mention cryptocurrency the first coin that comes in mind is bitcoin. It paves way for other cryptocurrencies and they all follow the price of bitcoin. If it's bearish time for bitcoin so it'll be for many other Alt coins in the market.
2888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CrazyTime and Monopoly, should we trust? on: February 13, 2022, 09:56:35 PM
OP they are two players in the live casino industry which is the gaming and live room providers. The game providers control the game how it should be played and the live room owners take care of the gaming environments you enjoy on screen including the croupiers. What you need to check before patronizing any live casino is the Gaming providers because they are in-charge of the outcome. If you confirm through live casino review sites that they offer Provably fair then you can stake and enjoy your views of pretty women. In some games like live Baccarat; numerous users can share one table without them knowing. The live room owners cannot manipulate results, they are there to provide the live room.
2889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a safe haven for criminals on: February 13, 2022, 09:18:36 PM
If I don't care on spending lots of UTXO in one shot, reusing addresses, mixing coins, coinjoining etc., that doesn't necessarily mean that Bitcoin is bad for criminals. Lots have been caught and it's generally not a good idea if you're going to do something really bad, but it depends from whom you want to hide. Is it your wife or your employer? They aren't going to find out much if you use Bitcoin. Is it the government? You're screwed.

However, I read that those two kept the private keys of the 119,754 BTC to a cloud server. I highly doubt they were cautious enough. Also, this doesn't make sense:
I think the transaction the Government cannot track in the block-chain technology has not be made.

I don't understand the aspect you translated the meaning of the phrase. But, I think once a transaction gets confirmed on the blockchain, and the ID is available for everyone to access the Government can trace the transaction through some FBI tools. If a fund is not moved they won't be a way for the Government to know that such a huge amount is been disseminated on different wallets such that it can be changed to fiat. I don't think any criminal will ever hodl bitcoin without changing it to fiat. That's what I meant by that.
2890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 13, 2022, 09:07:09 PM
It's been a big trend on social media since the Canadian shared his bet slips containing how much he staked on the super bowl in bitcoin. And how much he will receive in bitcoin if the Rams defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in Los Angeles, which is about $2.29 million in bitcoin. The betting industry has a great acceptance of bitcoin. He made other stakes using bitcoin as well. But, what matters is how more celebrities with big fan Bases promote bitcoin. It's such a better way of increasing the usage of bitcoin in Betting Firms.
From the betting slip that you included in your OP, it was $500 thousand that is there, but it is true because I read it too that Drake staked that amount of money. I hope the amount is not too much though, as a celebrity and the wealth he has, the amount can be the little for him but so big for me, the last bet I played was with $20 and I can not go further than that. I too will wish Drake to win the game, but this should not be frequent because gambling is risky, but I like the news because people will use it to know much more about gambling with crypto gambling site organizations.

The amount of money a gambler makes out of staking on games determines how much they'll keep betting. It's a game, and we all understand how it works. For Drake, to drop half a million dollars on a game means he has made more than millions of dollars while betting. To support their expensive lifestyles I think betting on cryptocurrency is the fastest means of making money from the ecosystem. Musicians cannot trade because of the thin time they have for themselves.
2891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 13, 2022, 08:55:35 PM
apart from bitcoin getting more recognition it looks like this is great publicity for stake.com. win or lose stake would still get something out of it. I mean, I am pretty sure this news about drake betting on sports on stake.com would attract gamblers(especially his fans that is also a gambler) to try the website out since a highly influential person is using it.

Now, the question is what if he loses? Is he gonna cry about it or regret for betting too much? It seems that he's too confident who's going to win or is it just he loves to gamble for his favorite team?

Gamblers are not scared to lose. That's why they took the risk. Drake thinks of how much he'll win if they win the game, and he also staked some funds on his friend that will play the game. So, it's also a big win for his friend, for getting signed to the club. I think every gambler has two plans why they stake on a bet. Drake cannot lose on both ways.
2892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is not a safe haven for criminals on: February 13, 2022, 08:44:18 PM
Recently, I went through the article about the biggest cryptocurrency fraud in history executed by a married couple.  Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan, husband, and wife, have been tracked down by the FBI for laundering 119,754 bitcoins from Bitfinex five years ago. After many attempts to rinse the money through chain hopping on numerous anonymity enhanced cryptocurrencies like monero. The FBI was able to apprehend them.

I want to know, what else does the government want to regulate the cryptocurrency blockchain for if the FBI can perform such a rigorous search on all the virtual accounts that have been created online by the couple? And found the private key linked to the wallet that received the funds, and they recovered over $3.5 billion and recorded it as the biggest seizure in the cryptocurrency niche.

Quote
“Criminals always leave tracks, and today’s case is a reminder that the FBI has the tools to follow the digital trail, wherever it may lead,” said FBI Deputy Director Paul M. Abbate.

I think the transaction the Government cannot track in the block-chain technology has not be made. FBI claim that they will endeavor to trace any fraudulent activity in the cryptocurreny network through their 21st century investigative technique. (I don't know what they mean by that)

2893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 13, 2022, 06:19:28 AM
I don't think Ethereum will have a bright future if bitcoin doesn't hit another ATH. Bitcoin has a cheaper network fee compared to Ethereum. On the other flip, Ethereum utilizes blockchain technology for transactions, yet they have a high gas fee. Moreover, Ethereum's performance depends on Bitcoin.
2894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lies and critics about bitcoins on: February 13, 2022, 04:10:51 AM
Hopefully, those that read this article will go-ahead to search about bitcoin and see a better-explained article on bitcoin on well-acknowledged sites. No matter how bitcoin gets criticized on a site the word "bitcoin" is mentioned. And it's the most important word. Nothing like bad publicity, some met bitcoin for the first time through critics' news like this one, did their research, and ended up using bitcoin. Those who will not use bitcoin will never accept it, whether they are an article on the NYtimes throwing good shades on bitcoin. So, this type of article will keep popping out from time to time. But, the main thing is that bitcoin gets mentioned.

OP, I can't tell how fast you want the return of your Ad investment but, if it's a long term project and you wish to see results that will last longer and may put an end to spending so much money on Advertisement in the future. Then, I think that guest posts will yield a greater traffic in future than the twitter Influencers that charge times two of what cryptocurrency bloggers or sites will take to publish an article about your project. They are some high quality cryptocurrency blogs with good Domain authority that will help to build the back-link to your site.

2897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 29 Year Old Legend In Crypto Trading on: February 13, 2022, 02:49:10 AM
He took the right step by building his own exchange, a good way of helping the ecosystem. Another truth he said about trading, is that "people tend to jump into trading without any creative research or background". Traders should learn from the experts so that they will improve in their trading performance. Most traders lose so much money because they didn't learn thoroughly how the trading niche works.
2898  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for CLAPS services for Medium sites on: February 12, 2022, 03:21:10 AM
I think you need a group of people to carry out such task for your project. SMM panels that provide such services are rare and what they give to users are not genuine since it's all bots. If you hire genuine people they will comment after clapping, the site will stay genuine to the medium algorithm which will help the growth of your project a long way. It's suspicious on medium if someone claps at an article they didn't participate or comment under, reducing the visibility of such website.
2899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IP leak from MetaMask wallet on: February 12, 2022, 03:14:29 AM
The team behind OMNIA protocol disclosed many ways of obtaining other people's IP through Open sea website. Isn't it threatening to the general public and a lay man if everyone can now extract people's IP for malicious reason? Because, the Idea is understandable even to those who are not into tech to test and try. Well, the Meta-mask team have been aware of such a loop hole without defining another method to secure their platform. They are a lot of platforms that are like Meta mask so people should move on to a more decentralized computers or networks for safety.
2900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any reputable exchange that lend DEFI tokens?? on: February 12, 2022, 02:55:06 AM
Recently, I found the Spherium Finance they have the lending services with some newly integrated features like no charges for security and lenders communicating with borrowers on their site. But, the main thing is that they are under decentralized finance and you must deposit the equivalent of what you want to borrow as collateral.
