There is also the 5 LTC per update/ fix fee he was hoping to cash in on.

Could this be why so many other devs/ coin owners have abandoned their coins ?

My selective trolling/ questions have ruffled some feathers.. This is not just about 5 LTC. I'm sure of it.

Now cgminer will not connect when I set it up to solo mine. I've tried the .conf with and without the addnodes and still no luck. Everything else, solos just fine..

+1 GigaCoin. And its not just diamonds. Nearly every aspect of our existance has been rigged.

Please re-start diamond client and try again...

That and a reboot also failed. Zeuscoin has the same issues.

Everything else connects immediately. eg. FTC, LTC ect..

UPDATE..

All is well since I changed the .conf from 'diamondcoin' to 'diamond'. Roll Eyes

Today is a good day to be NOOOB. Tongue

The client is warning that the checkpoint is too old.

Anyone else seeing this ?

Please download the last client version here: http://www.dmdcoin.net/downloads/

Thx. Smiley

I was running the 'forkfix' client. lol

Vegan coin, sounds kind of cool - and I am a vegan

But the wallet does not synch, I assume this is because of the dispute?

Whoever owns this, I'd consider taking it on assuming it works and nobody is looking for 5 LTCs for it!

Muddafuddda, if you want to adapt it a little bit (rewards per lock, a small premine), then let me know.

Otherwise, good day to you Sirs

You will not find me on there because I deleted everything weeks ago.

The fact that he insisted on the premine should be a clear sign that he is not to be trusted. He is directly responsible for many, if not most, of the abandoned and problematic coins out there. Please consider hiring someone else or you may want to look into one of the DIY guides that are apparently availbable.

HT xD

p.s. THANK YOU for showing animals respect and kindness ! pEACe Grin

2890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT coin - A total scam? on: December 14, 2013, 12:16:56 AM
Problem is NXT isn't just an inflated copy coin, it's a real full on fraud coin.

It promises to be different and Bitcoin 2.0, however it is half finished garbage. There are fewer features than any other coin, it is really basic and really buggy/badly designed.

It is 100% premined and handed out to 71 select few. They are trying to sell it off for about 300x its initial cost.

If ever there was a coin that was created as a total scam to make money for the developer, this is it.

Whether you're talking about features, services, infrastructure, premine, easymine ect.. they (the coins) are all the same. They are ponzi schemes.

Just like beer, they tell you it tastes better when in fact.. its all the same shit. Grin

The biggest part of the scam is how people have been made to believe that the junk coin invasion is a good thing for cryptos.
2891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT coin - A total scam? on: December 13, 2013, 04:11:26 PM
Its not just NXT.

WTF is up with junk coin prices ?

Soo many bubbles.. soo many bagholders.. I'm afraid to look ! Shocked

I guesstimate 80% of the copy n paste crap coins have the same few people behind them.

Bumpity..

Proceed with caution if you decide to mine at this pool.

I'll let the email messeges explain the rest. Newer messeges are shown first, thus appearing as they would in your inbox.

Greetings all.

During my brief stint with https://ltc.drillbit.me/ , I noticed how the numbers did not add up.

EDIT

pressing enter saved the thread before I was done with it...  processing.. plz wait. Grin

+1 Joe_Bauers.

A growing number of these pump n dump devs are abandoning their coins. This should lessen the chances of that happening aswell.

2897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Infinitecoin (IFC) pool - Treasurequarry.com . 1.5% fee. USA p2pool server on: December 11, 2013, 03:06:19 PM
bondi, Coinex isn't a p2pool, and the share difficulty is likely to be much lower there.  You may therefore (particulary noticeable with relatively low hashrates) end up being credited with lots of small payments  at Coinex rather than fewer and more spaced-out but larger blocks of payments at a p2pool like TreasureQuarry. Overall the long term total should end up roughly the same depending on your luck.

What I find odd is that I was getting payments every few minutes (check this address iHM4FcFWqKnrvnVkuHMBYvaicWFxUF2NVp) and then after the 6th no payments at all using the same rate. Something changed, I  think... Maybe it has something to do with the changes you did on the 6th when you had that suspicious activity...

Nothing has changed. YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED.

Please read the entire thread if you wish to learn about his past victims.

If the psudo share diff is really that high, you are better off solo mining. lol

I have updated the OP to include the missed PMs and made a note about his alias "Memecoin" at Cryptsy.

New PM..

Just cashed out a ton of btc. I have devoted 5btc to see if a defamation case is likely to result in a positive outcome for what you posted and damages to business.

Good luck and regards

LMAO ..

1 - I did not get what I asked and paid for.

2 - As a test of character I initially let you decide what a fair refund would be.

3 - After a week with no response, I asked for 3 of the 5 LTC be returned.

4 - This has cost me my personal time and the hashpower spent earning the 5 LTC.

STOP PLAYING THE VICTIM.

Did you break a sweat copying Cryptogenic Bullion ?
2900  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fudda'd by muddafudda on: December 10, 2013, 04:05:11 PM
You did not give me the ZERO PREMINE/ FAIR LAUNCH COIN I ASKED FOR.

I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO CHANGE MY MIND !

Funny how both you and r3wt have this thing with insisting on coins with premines.

My expectations were made clear from the beginning. The only change happened when I restated my request for SHA.

Remember.. YOU DID NOTHING TO EARN THIS. HOW MANY OTHERS HAVE YOU RIPPED OFF WITH THESE SHENANNIGANS ?!

Could this be why Auscoin/ the Maples dev has given up aswell ? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=132350

How much were you trying to get from him for your lame updates/fixes ?
