Welcome LoyceV. We're so glad you've arrived.

Just follow us to the celebration downstairs.

Granted, I am fairly new to the forum but I've tolerated more than enough of your panhandling scamster meets Communist BULLSHIT!
...

Pretty sure he was already banned under another account for begging excessively in other parts of the forum. He could just be a troll with absolutely nothing better to do. Either way, best handled by putting him on Ignore.

Wonder how many people spreading anti-vax nonsense would sneak off and get the shot for the free $100.

The ones who profit directly from the nonsense, conspiratard website editors and such, certainly.

Why a Former Anti-Vax Influencer Got Her Covid-19 Shot

More recently,

The Anti-Vaxxers in Missouri Are So Deranged That People Are Getting COVID Shots in Disguise

I believe the anti-vax movement has a strong peer pressure element that is not discussed often enough.
2884  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed on: August 02, 2021, 02:04:13 AM

Look what are you doing. You're not adding anything of value to the forum. You're just trying to walk a line between collecting merits and not having your posts deleted as spam.

Write something that other people actually want to read. In your own words!

If you want to get noticed, then write something noticeable.

I understand English isn't your first language and you are at a disadvantage compared to many of us. But you write a lot of posts just for the sake of writing a post -- you don't care if its bad, you just write it for money. And that's bad no matter who does it. It's spam.
2885  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Small Rabbit - Bounty & Signature campaign SCAMMER - 25000$ on: August 01, 2021, 07:59:08 PM

WTF are you talking about, of course Small Rabbit stole the coins. His screenshot was completely fake. We've already proven it to be fake in several ways. Meanwhile his theft of the bounty tokens is very real.

@OP: this is Small Rabbit's BSC address at Binance:

https://bscscan.com/address/0xf0da6ed49e1d970c2feb9a7165bc61e889d8e984

You could submit a complaint to Binance and tell them what happened. Maybe they can at least suspend his account.

Looking at the Ethereum counterpart:

https://etherscan.io/address/0xf0da6ed49e1d970c2feb9a7165bc61e889d8e984

He's received ETH from Kakatua, and this thread details the Kakatua "rabbithole" of connected alts, somewhere between 18 and 41 accounts in total.

He's probably still here under other accounts.

I know its late now and won't probably help you getting your money back, but you could raise Type 1/Type 2 flag against Small Rabbit, as those flags are tad more visible than negative feedbacks which he got.

Flag is definitely a good idea, Type 2 at least. If this guy thinks his reputation is salvageable (beyond returning the stolen coins), he's crazy.

I thought this was particularly cool:

Women's BMX. It's no X-Games but its still pretty neat. Wish I could do a front-flip. I think it would be fun to just slowly ride around over that course... I'd try to keep my speed controlled like a granny because I hate pain, but reckon it'd still be pretty fun.
2887  Economy / Reputation / Re: Nutildah's bounty cheaters & ban evaders thread on: July 31, 2021, 08:52:15 PM
As for the Mistafreeze account, both he and his viola were banned this week.

Here you can see Zilon sent BTC to mistafreeze's Binance address.

But is that actually enough to establish that someone is an alt?

Well, here's the thing: this is the first transaction to "mistafreeze's" address. Its still possible they coordinated some kind of transfer... sigh... even though they are shifty about changing their addresses after getting caught.

Its obvious mistafreeze was also a bought account. But in this instance, I agree its a good idea to hold off tagging accounts just for having made transactions to one another. They don't use the same address - let alone the same wallet - so it wouldn't be enough evidence to be banned for ban evasion.
2888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos vs Adam Back on: July 31, 2021, 11:52:38 AM
someone like Andreas worries me, because if he pulls a trick on you, it will be very smart and very significant simultaneously, precisely because people trust him so much

He already pulled off the trick, which is making Bitcoin sound appealing to a mass audience. Explaining Bitcoin to Joe Rogan so he "gets it" is quite a feat, for example.

Doing what Andreas does as a profession is pretty tricky enough as it is, and he's already done quite well for himself.

He just doesn't strike me as the type to use his powers for bad. But if he does some day I'll remember this thread and give you props.
2889  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Small Rabbit - Bounty & Signature campaign SCAMMER - 25000$ on: July 30, 2021, 07:06:25 PM
If truly the forum does not care or give a damn on how criminals like this on this forum can be caught and prosecuted, then I must sincerely say that this is a big minus on this forum and it's founders as this shows the forum doesn't really care about its users,

On some level I agree with you, but then who decides who is guilty vs. who is innocent? In this case it looks pretty clear-cut what happened but so far the evidence submitted wouldn't result in a conviction in an actual court room.

and the sad story is that a scammer(knowing that all he or she gets is just a red or negative trust after scamming members here) won't hesitate or think twice before carry out his or her evil act.
He or she scams with an account,
Gets a red or negative trust,
Forgets about that account,

Its true... But its a microcosm of the world. People who walk around free of ethics and empathy for other people have a serious leg up here, as they do in the normal business world. If you have no shame, the world is your oyster.

I mean they might eventually get prosecuted for being a criminal fuck but up until that point things can go pretty good.
2890  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [EXCHANGE] MONEYLION TO BTC on: July 30, 2021, 06:45:47 PM
So far everybody you've done business with here claims you are a scammer.

And you claim everybody's cards don't work.

Hmm.

If you don't want other people commenting in your thread, just close this one and open a self-moderated thread like that Vareole guy.
2891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos vs Adam Back on: July 30, 2021, 06:40:07 PM
I dunno. Same question can be asked of the entirety of crypto twitter.

completely agree, we're even pretty hypocritical ourselves here, because we're engaging in... similar behavior right here on bitcointalk

Meh... I don't claim to be an "influencer."

went on a obstruction campaign to fight against on chain scaling because it didnt fit blockstreams business models.

Woah... you mean you're not happy with the 1 MB block size cap?? Who would have guessed???

stop trying to twist history. to make adam look like a good guy

Literally nobody has done that here franky. Almost everybody went the opposite direction actually.
2892  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [EXCHANGE] MONEYLION TO BTC on: July 30, 2021, 06:31:59 PM
this dude is scammed, everyone please be aware. He succesfully charged on my card for $650 total but not paying me said he will pay the next morning, then when I ask in the next morning he saying there was flag or something that he made it up! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ASS HOLE LOW KEY PERSON

We know he's a scammer. I even wrote he's a scammer in his feedback. You clearly didn't check.

You've been around here for at least a little while... how could you possibly trust this person? They are just some anonymous shyster. All the reputation they have is bad.

And I can't even tag them because you didn't present any evidence.
2893  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Small Rabbit - Bounty & Signature campaign SCAMMER - 25000$ on: July 30, 2021, 07:25:36 AM

This is good detective work. Thanks for sharing. You can see he just copy/pasted the 25,000 from somewhere else, it doesn't match the font size or format of the version you shared. He should have just used Inspect Element to change the numbers.

I will request to Moderator. banned this scammer from this Forum

Unfortunately that's not the way things work, but he is effectively out of business, at least under this account.
2894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos vs Adam Back on: July 30, 2021, 06:02:30 AM
Unlike Andreas, Adam Back is a bit two-faced.

If you don't know what's going on there, Adam sequentially

1. shit on altcoins
2. shilled an altcoin
3. shit on altcoins

and I gotta say, disappointingly few people seemed to have blinked an eye.

Don't care if Andreas was always a fameseeker or whatever, he's made Bitcoin interesting to hundreds of thousands or maybe even millions of people. Adam on the other hand... I used to entertain the idea that he might be Satoshi, but now I'd be pretty disappointed if he was.

I'm not letting Adam Back off the hook incidentally, I'm not aware of him doing anything substantial in Bitcoin at all. He seems to be good at making waves on twitter also, but when neither of them are worth much, why does anyone care?

I dunno. Same question can be asked of the entirety of crypto twitter.
2895  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forum treats new members this way, and it will only go to extinction on: July 30, 2021, 04:42:25 AM
We really could use some fresh blood in the moderation department.
Who has time to monitor the millionth person claiming to be Satoshi or claiming to own extremely valuable yada yada,
besides the spammers and scammers.

lol

Wot. AFAIK Satoshi claims aren't moderated here and narcissism is baseline activity.

Not even scammers are moderated.

Just spammers basically. Shouldn't be too hard of a job one would think.
2896  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coinminingcentral.com scammed again on: July 29, 2021, 10:02:37 PM
I'm not saying I didn't get miners, I just got scammed 9 times out of 10, and I questioned every purchase.

That is a stunning rate of getting scammed. Perhaps you should hold off from making future purchases from this industry.

The whole system is a sham a fake to get the unknowing to send off too much money for "little" profit.
The only way it works is if you've got free power and a huge bankroll, because everyone is ripping you off.

This part has some truth to it in that it's definitely an insider's game. Some people who have been at it for quite a while know how to make it work in their own way... we have quite a few successful independent miners here on the forum.

I might sound like I'm venting, but I want people to know they are about to get taken in every way.

No harm in that I suppose. And I even checked the link of the one place you said was alright, and they appear to be legit. Was wondering if this was a weird advert or something at first.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: July 29, 2021, 09:16:58 PM
As you can see it was a judgment call I made when creating the league, it was an arbitrary decision but I thought that it was better to start small and only increase the number if there was the demand for it as the ESPN website allowed me to increase the number of teams but not to decrease it, we do not have a formal agreement but so far we have more support for the current size to remain that way, after all the discussion about the league has been going on for about 2 months and only the current members of the league have shown any interest, so it is not like we are excluding anyone that desperately wants to participate.

True... I think you did a good job and everything is good as is. We should try to keep things simple for the newcomers.

Also with 8 teams x 0.0015 = 0.012 BTC, so we can have

0.01 BTC for 1st place
0.002 BTC* for 2nd place

(*maybe take the tx fee out of the 2nd place winner's amount... hopefully its not greater than the amount itself by that point).

Does that sound about reasonable to everyone?

Also I recommend those not too familiar with the way things work to study the information in the Scoring tab of the League Settings. This will help you get an idea of how certain player positions are "worth" more than others. For example, QBs are usually the top-scoring position, followed by WRs and RBs. Then there's a substantial points drop-off for TE, K and DEF positions (not as valuable), generally speaking...

Just something to keep in mind, and why it might not be the best strategy to load up on kickers.

Who knows tho. Maybe for someone that is a winning strategy.

Good thing i did this, I screwed up the que and autodrafted the wrong guy. Smiley

LOL
2898  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: July 29, 2021, 08:03:52 PM
Offline casinos are certainly interesting, you can meet new people who might be your friends or girlfriends.  but in this pandemic period, people are afraid to be there, this virus is very contagious, it is much better to play online gambling during this pandemic while hoping this will all end.

o)~_~(o

Don't laugh bro. I met my fiancee in the 1xbit Casino chat box.

She introduced me to a lovely Bitcoin exchange called hyper-doubler.biz where the membership is only $200 a week. Best of all I get to chat with my fiancee there for free. I'm planning on meeting her in the Ukraine next fall. I went to meet her last year but it turns out she couldn't meet because her grandmother was sick that week.

Aw man, my reading comprehension is bad today. It says "offline" casinos.

ABORT JOKE. I REPEAT. ABORT JOKE. ABORT!!!
2899  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forum treats new members this way, and it will only go to extinction on: July 29, 2021, 05:33:36 PM
Nope. The forum has become way too tolerant to plagiarising assholes and other shitposting scum. There was a time that one report could get you banned and that perhaps was too harsh but now it's gotten to the point where it might take 10-20 reports of a serious intentional rule violation to get even a temp ban, if that. Let's see how long it takes to get you banned for evasion.

We really could use some fresh blood in the moderation department.

That's what happens if for a short moment you forget to play the Joe Biden character
The actor certainly at some stage in his life drove a 18-wheeler, Biden no
https://nypost.com/2021/07/29/biden-mocked-for-claiming-he-used-to-drive-an-18-wheeler/

GOT EM!

Quote
“There is zero evidence that Biden ‘used to drive an 18 wheeler,'” tweeted the Republican National Committee’s Zach Parkinson, along with images of the Wilmington paper’s story about Biden’s 536-mile ride.

Imagine the president of the United States telling an exaggerated fib. Biden is FINISHED.

Oh wait a minute...

That's right I forgot, Biden is actually STILL YOUR PRESIDENT.  Cheesy
