2881  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maverick Games 🚀 BTC & USDT Sportsbook & Casino | Licensed & Regulated on: January 18, 2023, 06:47:31 PM
This seems to be a new casino Service and seems you have been here long ago as their representative while your casino is undergoing development. Congratulations on your launch and accredited license to operate. I like your UI as it looks organic and cool but however, I had to go through your website and I found out in you term of Service, you pay suspicious account suspected to have been involved in placing similar bets. Now I ask how can you be able to ascertain that? Is it not better you withhold the prize instead of giving it out? If you say you would pay those accounts, are you paying them fresh or you would split the win amongst them? and lastly,  you can not disenfranchise a winner from claiming his or her full win all in the name that you suspected a multiple win linked to that account and I asked what if the win is from different registered members would you still split it for them?

Here is your terms and conditions. Would it not be nice you say a little on it.

2882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoin awareness for easy adoption in my locality on: January 18, 2023, 03:08:42 PM
This is a good move OP. You did well by putting them through on bitcoin but looking at them, do you think they were able to assimilate what you taught them. The ladies are looking elderly and you know elderly women find it difficult to play cool at such when it comes to technology and innovation of such magnitude, they find it difficult to adapt very fast but anyways you have done well OP. I hope you did tell Sharon and the others on the best safe and secured way to store their coin and possibly how to identify their wallets and private keys so as not to get confused when they see it. Telling them about the market will also be good because they would need to know how it works. Nevertheless, OP has done well onboarding new members irrespective of their ages, the to can onboard their children if they can be able to do so.
2883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good way to promote Bitcoin or not? on: January 18, 2023, 01:52:53 PM
So my wife and i has a big wine 🍇 store and this includes other drinks as well, we sell in packs, and loads of people always come around to buy from us, I am thinking if this is a good opportunity to start promoting Bitcoin? I mean if some can pay Bitcoin for goods and services it will help even if they are few.

I believe this can make people start wondering what Bitcoin is and I will be waiting for questions like

What is bitcoin?

What benefits come from using it as payment?

Then I will give my answer and see if any people become more interested in it, some have heard about it but they have a wrong perspective of what Bitcoin is leading to believe it's a scam.  What do you think?

This is a good idea you know. If you are all up for it then it would be a good move by you to promoting bitcoin in your own way. Taking such bold steps would want people to know more about it and I hope bitcoin is legal in your country where you stay and are conducting this business. Going by this, I think you should make it known in your store by making a notice of you accepting bitcoin so you do not have to ask them or talking to them to accept payment via bitcoin. When they see it, those who are into the system would definitely want to identify with you so they could make payment with bitcoin for their goods and those who are curious about the post would definitely ask you some questions to know about your notification. These would attract more customers for you and also make others around your company to follow your steps by accepting bitcoin too. I see the adoption rate in your local speedup  very fast.
2884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will Bitcoin have value? on: January 18, 2023, 01:41:18 PM
Scarce Resource
One of the main reasons for Bitcoin's value is that the supply of Bitcoin is limited.  21 million bitcoins will be supplied over 18 million bitcoins have already been mined.  Because the value of Bitcoin is determined by the ratio of supply and demand.  Day by day the demand for BTC is increasing and the number of Bitcoin holders is increasing due to the growing population and the price is likely to increase in the future.  Experts believe that competition between holders will increase the value of BTC in the future when the supply of Bitcoin reaches 21 million while mining Bitcoin will not.
Decentralised Network
Another important reason for BTC's value is that BTC is a fully decentralized networking system.  Centralized network systems could be controlled by governments like traditional currencies or controlled by one or more institutions, individuals and groups.  But since Bitcoin is a completely decentralized system, it cannot be controlled by the government, so Bitcoin is completely Freedom.
Store of Value/Not to be Inflation
Bitcoin works completely against inflation, especially since governments can't regulate it and cannot print it in a printing press like traditional paper money and therefore cannot increase its supply.  So it doesn't get inflation like normal currency. Due to lack of inflation common people can't keep in purchasing power thus Bitcoin's value is maintained.
Bitcoin's Utility & Growing Globally Adoption
Bitcoin's value is maintained as it is exchangeable with various products and day by day various circles, famous people, institutions, countries are recognizing Bitcoin around the world.  Moreover, various business organizations are accepting Bitcoin as a payment system for their business.  Because Bitcoin is such a global revolution, its value will always remain.

You just made some clean good points here. Bitcoin has a good value and it keeps growing everyday till each and every single individual get hold of bitcoin in little fraction which would be of big monetary value then. To add to the list but few are as follows;

Security
With bitcoin, you can convert your huge amount of fiat and move about with it stored in your wallet and conveyed with your  mobile or Android phone. Possibly stored in your safe without anybody noticing that you have your assets kept there. Instead of moving about with bullion vans carrying huge bulk of cash about which would definitely attracts eyes to you, you can convert to bitcoin and move with it and nobody knows you have or carrying such an amount with you till you get to your destination.  All these I have mentioned above would take place without anyone noticing your identity which put you on the safe side and your identity would remain unknown.

Saves time and minimize stress

Bitcoin gained more value in time consumptions it averts. Going by the normal fiat transaction, if one would want to withdraw or make payment for services with involves huge bulk in cash amount, it would take the time of those involved to undergo some scrutiny by several agencies involved before clearance to do whatever you want to do with it, while conducting such huge transaction of such magnitude, you will have to pay for transaction fee very much higher than bitcoin but if you use bitcoin, the fee will be low and it would scale through very fast to the destination without any delay but in the other way, Fiat is not so. After passing through stress sending such amount of money, if the account receiving such huge bulk of cash has not received such before, they would need to undergo another interrogation before they have access to the funds. So you see the value attached to bitcoin.
There are lots of them which would be gradually revealing itself as time goes on.
2885  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 17 Days After Release: Scarcity Of New Naira Notes Worries Nigerians on: January 18, 2023, 12:09:25 PM
This is the message I received from CBN today. I guess they are not aware that some banks still go ahead to put the old currency notes in their ATM. The Nigerian in me is thinking that may there is a plot among some of these bankers to take advantage of the situation. What do I mean? They'll keep putting the old naira notes knowing that at the deadline most Nigerians will rush to the banks and will want to change the notes for new ones immediately. At this point, they'll start to charge people money so they can get in and do exchange.  It is the "Nigerianness" in me thinking so.

I do do not doubt your logic. This is the normal Nigerian mentality. Monetization of every activities they got involved in. I believe this as you have said is the plans of the bankers so that when the deadline is fast approaching, they start extortion from account holders so as to facilitate the changing process so they could get something from them. This is very bad. I suppose they should have known that they should be withdrawing more of the old  notes in circulation by now and also releasing the new note through the ATM Machine across the nation the same financial institutions are saying they do not have the new notes so there they are still issuing the old notes to customers which is very bad. This alone shows that the financial institution do not know what they even signed up for and they are not really ready to implement the cashless policy they are campaigning for.
2886  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The high increase of insecurities in Nigeria, how do we combat this? on: January 18, 2023, 11:40:54 AM
~Do you think the government is doing enough to combact insecurity in the country?

People fail to understand that security is not only the government business. Security concerns each and every single individual in a country. Security is everyone's business. If you fail to take note of possible security threat and fail to report to the nearest security agency close to you then you are bound to face security risks. We should not wait for the security forces or government to do investigation before they swing into actions we should do well to report so as to be on the safe side. Atleast doing this would help mitigate potential risk involved and also, Keep security agency on the watch and alert at any time to swift actions.

~what will you suggest as the way forward to combating insecurity in the country?
There is a saying that says " an idle mind is the devil's workshop" I remember a one time minister of the federation saying that "human capacity development is the answer to curb insecurity and restiveness in the society". Going by that,  one would say that employment and empowerment could aid in curbing security issues in the society. This is so because when the people are gainfully employed  in legal activities which fetches them reasonable amount of money through salaries, income etc, they would not be bothered causing problems in the society.
My conclusion is that the government should look into human capacity development which will help individuals in the society and keeping them busy with a means of getting income, their energy and intellect would be meaningfully used for good productivity
2887  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: January 17, 2023, 07:46:53 PM
This is nice and welcome onboard. I can not wait to see what you have cooking for us. I hope it goes well to render good services. Your announcement should not be just a loud drum but a drum with content of great value and potentials speaking for itself. I know the bitcointalk community  would be eagerly waiting for your next announcement as regards the development of your game and features in it. Making just announcement alone would not just help but engaging in marketing would be of great help and value. So in that case, I would advise you seek the expertise of a good signature campaign manager with good reputation and large followership to help promote your project. This would help your project go a long way in gaining popularity.
2888  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nebeus: the easiest way to send money to a Crypto Casino!! on: January 17, 2023, 06:54:06 PM
First and foremost, I would like to welcome you to this platform and I hope you would enjoy your stay here. Before I proceed this is your first post upon registration which makes me feel skeptical about you
I personally use Nebeus Money Accounts, which essentially are bank accounts with IBAN and Sort Codes for crypto hodlers. The thing is that, thanks to this feature, I move money from my crypto account to my Nebeus IBAN in the same app and instantly transfer money from one account to the other.

This sounds more of an advertisement. Were you paid to shill about them here because your first post and engagement was all about your nebeus which speaks volume more about you advertising for them here. The law's governing Crypto currency in your country might not be the same with others. So why not mention the name of your country here so people would know.

I even receive my salary there. Then I buy crypto and send it to my regular casino’s wallet. I do the same but vice-versa when I want to withdraw my crypto gains and convert them into fiat.

You see why I say this is more of you advertising your bank here. Who knows if truly you and your bank are genuine. This you have stated here depends on your country regulations with respect to Crypto because you are talking about bank which I am not comfortable with.
2889  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM: Spacedep.com on: January 17, 2023, 06:25:52 PM
Scammers always looking for ways to scam people of their hard earned resources. I wonder what they think before embarking on such nefarious act. It is unfortunate that people still fall victim of such trick from these scammers. These are the things that put Crypto in a bad reputation all because of these fraud called scam. These people that falls into these traps are non but  new bies which makes it very difficult to believe that bitcoin is not a scam when ever you approach them. As a result of their experience which they have gotten from scammers, they find it difficult to believe anymore that bitcoin is not a scam.

I had to access the website to see for myself to ascertain the level of criminality in these act of theirs and I found this.

Who on Earth would dear this risk  if not new bie who does not know how the system works. It is unfortunate that people would still fall victim of these scammers through this site. Watch and see, I pray this forum members sees this and help spread it out to the world so others too can know about it very fast.
Thanks for revealing this on time.
2890  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 17 Days After Release: Scarcity Of New Naira Notes Worries Nigerians on: January 17, 2023, 03:45:43 PM
The Nigeria government is agitating for cashless policy while her citizens are kicking against it noting that Nigeria is not yet ready for it. Now the new naira note that they minted are being withheld from circulation as the circulating new notes are scarce. Nigerians are really not ready for the cashless policy as the economy itself is not stable to the point of implementing such policy. It will only cause more harm than good. They are talking about cashless transaction, how will the market women that are not inclined to that level do, the commercial drivers, the village traders etc how will they cope with their various businesses. What I am hearing now is that they do not want the new note to be excess in circulation so as to encourage the cashless policy what a waste of time. I think they should have put things in other by conducting sensitisation and orientation so that all the above names mentioned can easily integrate.
2891  Other / Archival / Re: Mass adoption: Naming my child bitcoin on: January 17, 2023, 01:03:31 PM
I do not think this would augur well in the nearest future if your child grows up. Bitcoin does not need one to bear it as a name. It has already made a niche for itself so therefore naming your child bitcoin would have no significant effect on it as there has already been a platform for which bitcoin has thread  up on for so long. Bitcoin has come a long way to this point of no return that one would answer it as a name to create awareness about it. I would advise you think of something else to name your child as it does not ryhme and not in terms. Save yourself the stress of complaint of bully from your child in the nearest future. I think you should look for a more suitable name for your child because answering bitcoin would not in any way aid in bitcoin adoption and promotion as it already has that done for itself.
2892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: recommendation for broker on: January 17, 2023, 11:24:28 AM
Hello everyone.

I would appreciate your help, which broker agent is considered the leading and safest today? Is anyone here active on a particular site and can give a recommendation?
You saying broker here is what I am trying to comprehend. Do you mean an exchange, escrow, mixer or what? As this is a Crypto platform, you saying about broker means you are referring to forex  which does not align with our activities here in anyways. For your quick understanding, there are centralised and decentralized exchange for which you can buy and sell your Crypto assets and also you can trade on Crypto currencies there too. Then for am escrow, you can contact any reputable member here to stand in for you for transparency and credibility. There are lots of exchange online there that can you can find reliable based in their reviews but Do Your Own Research so you can reduce the risks involved in getting into the wrong hands thinking you got it all right. Scammers can take advantage of you as you have raised this topic of inquiry as to show that you have no idea what you are into.
2893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Online Gaming Competition for Gamblers on: January 17, 2023, 11:09:48 AM
This I will say, it looks more of a gaming board than casino as I think because I see more of game features on the website. Come to talk of it, the UI is a kind of dull for my liking and I saw on the website, if you want to increase in rank, you will have to invite other members to joining the platform and that is a no no one for me.
Nevertheless, I do not think their presence is felt here as I checked the last time OP was online was
Last Active:   January 09, 2023, 09:25:14 PM. Do they really mean business? by this approach of not being present online here to respond to potential customers and participants likely interested in their services.
2894  Economy / Gambling / Re: OLE777 - Join Us For New And Exciting Promos! on: January 17, 2023, 10:52:45 AM
For the three accounts, I have already been told the reasons why the account was banned, although the customer support team and compliance team has told me that
they do not disclose the exact reasons why accounts get banned or locked. However some illegal actions are: Multiple accounts, Illegal Arbitrage betting etc.

I wonder why they can not tell you their representative here reasons why accounts get banned or locked or can you not be trusted to handle situations here? If they should make you their representative here then you should be able to communicate with them getting to know reasons why actions were metted on their registered members onboard their platform and they too should be able to give you every detailed information about your request in respect to complaints coming from the bitcointalk Community and management.

However some illegal actions are: Multiple accounts, Illegal Arbitrage betting etc.

These are just mere statements as regards the inquiry to why accounts were banned and locked. If you do not mind,  proofs would be ok to ascertain the genuineness of your claims for the actions metted on them.

For Ferrum360, I believe I sent a DM but if you have not received it, please DM me your OLE7 ID so I can also investigate what has happened.

Do well to respond to his demand so your complaints would be looked into with utmost attention it deserves.

Thank you and apologies for the late response.

Timely response matters alot as it has to do with customer service and care. Do well to make out time  to respond to complaints and inquiries so as not to get participants pissed off. Since you are the only representative here, your presence and timely response matters.
2895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 16, 2023, 09:39:56 PM
Well I can not say you made a mistake because it is an investment which is the right decision for your own interests. Selling your spare bike for bitcoin is absolutely wonderful too as there is a phrase that says sell what you can afford to loose" but here it is a bike you sold which is turning into a liability for your instead of depreciation you choose to make it appreciate buy selling it to buy bitcoin. That's was a good idea from you and also a good investment strategy you made for yourself. Doing it at the time of bear market is quite interesting because you would get high volume of bitcoin which would put you on high profit bull run but do not forget the phrase " not your keys, not your coin"stick to these words so you could be on the safe side and remember to save your keys phrase where only you can get it without any issues and free from second party.
2896  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: INEC: Underage voters will be arrested on: January 16, 2023, 08:48:32 PM

Quote
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says visibly underage persons who attempt to vote during the 2023 elections will be arrested. Festus Okoye, INEC national commissioner for information and voter education, said this on Monday during an interview on ‘The Morning Show’, a programme by Arise Television. Okoye said in an effort to address issues around underage registration, INEC has summoned all its officers in areas where underage registrations were recorded.
As we dey gear up for the 2023 elections wey go kickstart with the presidential election on 25th february 2023, na him INEC national chairman for information and voter education Fetus Okoye, don come out come talk say any underage person wey come out come vote, dem go arrest such persons. Well...  I like as dem they loud as to our hearing and I know say na naija we dey and there's still going to be defaulters and we know say na for northern part of naija na im this underage voters registration dey common, but INEC go fit really persecute this persons? Also, INEC say dem get 93.5 registered voters and dem go publish the list on 16 January before the election go start... Wetin una think concerning making the registered voters list public?

Quote
The parents will also be arrested for aiding and abetting such a venture.
This one go dey hard to carry out ooo...  As most of the underage voters wey be Almajiri with no parent, wey dey street dey beg with plates... how dem want take arrest the parent? Abi dem just dey talk am so that parents and guardians go advise their wards?

Source: https://www.thecable.ng/visibly-underage-persons-who-attempt-to-vote-will-be-arrested-says-inec/amp

This is very laughable. Is it now that they realized or know about the underage voting. They  denied the complaint on the underage voting of 2015 https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.ndr.org.ng/underage-voting-inec-denies-culpability/&ved=2ahUKEwif6vjs9sz8AhVCsKQKHdBcAMU4ChAWegQIBBAB&usg=AOvVaw2UweTU90WCKYDOYEgqgMa4. and now they are quick to make noise to justify their shortcomings. They already have their plots in mind so no need for these threats.
These underage voting mostly happens in the North which I will suggest to them to focus there this coming election because they are the soul initiators of this underage voters registration. The state government can not tell us that they are not aware of such because they are also beneficiaries of that act.
Who do they want to arrest? Is it the almajiri that walks about with plate on their hands begging for food or the  the imported fulanis from niger republic that have already been out in place for the act. They are even talking of arresting their parents too. I luagh I Swahili. They should continue.
2897  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Advice for naija people on: January 16, 2023, 08:07:52 PM
Election is fast approaching and we are drawing closer to a new democratic dispensation which we all need to make our choice of candidature. I want to urge us all to make good use of our PVC because that would vindicate us in the long run if we made a good or bad choice. Note this, if the choice is good we are going to have it all and if otherwise, we are all on it too. We should have a rethink of the past years of experiences and what we have gone through as a nation and as individual, are we really okay with the current state of the nation? Do we still want to continue the current state of the nation for the next 4 years, if yes or no it is up to you to decide. Say no to election violence, say no to electoral fraud, say no to vote buying, say no to thuggery and ballot snatching, come out in masses to vote to get the desired change you want.
Advise no be curse!
2898  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] | Best Bitcoin Mixer | Low fees | Fully automated on: January 16, 2023, 07:43:15 PM
I have gone through the yomix website to be frank, it is a touch of excellence. The UI is unique no wonder the Services rendered by yomix is second to none. I saw a feature which I believe most of the other mixers have not which is  a good edge over other mixer  service and it is  no other than the restore order.

This particular feature on the yomix services would give potential customers and already registered mixers confidence to want to use her services so that when any issues arises, they can be able to restore their order which is a good services point for yomix. This would further build the reliability and credibility of the yomix project.
Nevertheless, I  also came across a particular place where it is written about minimum amount to mix but there was no amount in value of bitcoin that was written there and if I may ask, does yomix have a minimum amount for mixing? If yes can you please tell so we can know.?
2899  Other / Off-topic / Re: My story and where it is now..... on: January 16, 2023, 11:42:31 AM
Been sitting in this dang hospital 11 days now and going a little crazy just being able to lay here. They come in everyday doing their rounds and keep telling me it's a mental game. They have no news, just hurry up and wait. It's frustrating.
I can only imagine how it is for you to wait while not being able to move at all. I waited for my transplant for approximately two months while being home and it wasn't fun at all even though I wasn't bed ridden like you which makes situation worse. The most annoying part for me was that everyone around me was worried and scared and for some reason I was completely calm and 100% sure that everything will be fine. I guess survival mode kicked in and you have no option really other than psyche yourself into positive thinking. I hope its the same for you as this approach helped me a lot. Anyway, hang on buddy!

I don't want to compare this with you and I don't know if you can watch movies, but your situation reminds me a lot on old movie called Misery from 1990, with James Caan and Kathy Bates.
Oh lol, I sure hope he won't have the same experience with one of the nurses as did the poor James Caan in that movie.  Cheesy
I'm hoping to hear good news sometime this week. They said on average 2-4 weeks and we are nearing the 2 week mark. Would be nice to get this process to the next step. All I can do is wait though.

I guess it must have been hell for you just being stucked up in a particular place for so long waiting for a transplant.  I know it is very much boring as you have no option than being in that state but I believe it is for a purpose you are asked to be there. I know these are part of the procedures involved in surgeries so as to gain balance and good support while the diagnosis is ongoing. Please permit as I am not a doctor but I believe  soonest your donor match would be seen for your transplant. Do not be worried because in the nearest time you will soon be fine and be able to start your work again. I am looking forward to to seeing you back on this platform very much active and dedicated as you used to be here doin your best to get things rightly done with all form of cordiality.

I have read through all complaints and compliments about this casino and I found it very disturbing that at such early stage a casino would be having such reputation about their newly developed system. It is quite unfortunate that they are lousy about it in giving urgent response to the complaints of their customers and that has caused them their reputation and their representative here is very slow to responding to complaints. I think I will halt anything doing with them as I can see the review coming are not in any way encouraging anyone to reckon with them. Already they failed to pass through the right process of marketing their services rather chilling was their resolution as stated In the this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5422931.msg61493852#msg61493852.  and their account being flagged already so therefore it is enough reason to deal with caution until issues being resolved with the standing complaints and the bitcointalk management. I think I have been able to point out something so important to note and be cautious with as to dealing with ole777 casino.
