simply hold your coins. sit back and enjoy seeing your coins increase in value as we're getting closer to the block halving. that's what i would do if i stopped with trading.

No more rocket fuel to the moon or not, still there is a lot of money to be made just by staying in bitcoins. Also, it is not surprising that we are not actually going up price-wise. Big investors and companies only put their money in the block chain technology, and not the cryptocurrency itself. If that happens, then we might even see even a glimpse of the moon that all of us wanted to see.
people here still think we'll see huge peaks like in 2012, 2013, 2014, but these peaks won't come back as traders don't react to news anymore. can't think of anything realistic that will make the price jump considerably right now. we need to have patience. |

i prefer a slow but stable growth. peaks are nice if you want to sell your coins for a good profit. but as always, peaks don't last.
Slow grow is fine if we are talking about bitcoin only as a currency and money transfer method. If you want to use bitcoin as an investment method slow grow is not the best, you can day trade, you can't speculate all you can is wait for price slowly to be higher... If that will be the case many people will leave bitcoin. it's weird. so many people say they don't like the volatility as they want a stable price. but at the moment the price seems fairly stable, then the exact same people complain about the price that isn't moving  |

i found out that having a paper wallet is quite a good cold storage method. i print them on photo paper and then seal it with plastic to make it water proof. you only need to make sure you store them in a safe place where only you have access to.

Yes but my take on soon is about 100 years.
I really do not know about after 100 years what happens but surely it will not happen for next few 30 to 40 years for sure. as long as they don't get to invent another (better) alternative than the current us dollar where they can maintain their control, i can't see the dollar being replaced within at least 20 years. |

Alibaba accepting btc payment will lift the price.
huge companies as amazon and alibaba will do the price good for sure. but for that you'll need to have larger than 1mb blocks as these two companies will fill blocks that fast. at this point it's nothing more than a big fantasy. |

There is no comparison between both Bitcoin and Litecoin.Bitcoin is real and innovation and LTC was made after this.If you want to invest then Bitcoin is best and when the prices will rise it will have impact also on Litecoin too.
that's the only thing that makes litecoin interesting. when bitcoin seems to go up, then litecoin get a price boost as well. and with its low market cap there is good money to be made. |

Why so late? Twins said that they only wait for Bitlicense and since the first was now approved... They were also saying expecting a Q1 launch for 2015. They'll be lucky to get in Q4. Really suprised by how long they are taking. i wouldn't be surprised if they at some point decide to cancel everything due to the issues they are facing. they keep delaying everything. they can't keep delaying as there will be better alternatives by that time. |

Honestly, I probably would have sold off a large portion of my Bitcoin by then. If it does drop to $50 though, it would mean Bitcoin is in a rough rough patch and I'm not sure how well it can rebound
there is no point in selling at that level. but i will happily buy your coins if you do sell them. it will either fail or succeed. wait it out. |

if you're not good at trading then it is better to buy low and sell after a while. don't get involved in day trading at this point. the minimum amount for investing is up to you. what's your balance? one person has 0.5btc to trade with, and the other has more than 100btc to invest.

Probably at the end of this year we see again bitcoin at 500$ again.I am quite hopeful to see the at that again before the start of new year.This is not big deal to reach again at 500$.

well, my bike had a flat tire and i paid the person who made it in bitcoin. that was the second time i used bitcoin in a real life transaction. it was nearly 2 weeks ago and he still didn't move the coins  |

I real point of this thread we may not be in need of selling our bitcoins when the price of bitcoins hit the moon. I liked. This kind of situation definitely will happen in our life time itself. Because when people chasing down to buy the bitcoin, why you alone going to sell, instead use it for daily needs.
for most people bitcoin is still an investment. they don't or barely spend their coins. if we all spend our coins on thing then merchants are likely to adopt bitcoin. |

not sure if this is really happening. but if it is, then i'm happy to hear this. the less coins these early adopters have, the better it is for the long term price. at this point early birds have too much power with their huge stash of coins.
