Well to give someone bitcoin as a gift for Christmas is very smart,but you need to know what type of person he/she is. He might like a physical gift like a teddy bear or a jewellery. But definitely gifting bitcoins instead of fiat currency to someone is way better choice.

If you really want to make money with bitcoin you should HODL it and buy as much as you can afford on the dips. Of course that if you are a well versed trader you can much more profits reading the charts and day-trading but there's a lot of risk involved as well..
You'll get more than decent profits if you just hodl and buy more on the dips so no worries.

Do the maths and if it is much cheaper to make the transaction face-to-face go with that option. But take all the necessary security measures. For the breeze tumblebit masternode you're going to need 250k STRAT. It hasn't changed. Bitcoin is already accepted in many online casinos and it shouldn't be hard for physical casinos to start accepting it.  They could use bitpay or other services to automatically convert them to fiat if they are not bitcoin supporters.

The reward for staking is estimated at 1% of your staked amount per year. I don't know yet if we'll get any return for running a full node. The masternode reward will be most surely announced when the Breeze Wallet with Tumblebit launches on mainnet on Monday. 

Coins with solid project,tech,devs and leaders usually dump because of bitcoin rallies but they always recover. Shitcoins can dump anytime just because a group is playing pump&dump schemes. Of course there is also technical analysis involved. Many factors to take into account..  Try to hodl the coins you believe in long term,unless you are an experienced wave rider and you're able to build your profits along the way.
