My results for the 8th round in the EPL predictor weren't that good, ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fs3qLlQs.png&t=664&c=Q89ALgDBykA-Xg) but they weren't that bad either. I moved 3 positions up, after all, ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F2izP83R.png&t=664&c=vSj5-Qg0j01dHg) so I'm happy. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) What I've noticed is that I'm never right about my Aston Villa predictions. I was overestimating the team during the last season, and now it seems like I'm underestimating them ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FtK1I8I2.png&t=664&c=pY-qf2RFBsqBeQ) Good job, guys, who predicted the exact result for this match ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FQYXnohQ.png&t=664&c=PtBJlZkSN1cuzA) But even a better job by you, LTU_btc and Ibuprofen, for the match Newcastle vs Bournemouth. Just look here: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FvWHH0RK.png&t=664&c=3EdDjFmjitGR0g) Well done! Btw, congrats on getting the Yellow Cap for this round, LTU_btc! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FL5ihqvj.png&t=664&c=1uAyUOgSgcm20A) As far as I remember, it's not only this nice picture of a yellow cap you are getting for scoring the most points in a round. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Keep it green, mate!

~ As mentioned earlier, maybe they just didn't see the benefits of bitcointalk and found customers somewhere else. There are a lot of forums and websites and social media companies all around the world that let's you promote your casino, and if the money and effort that they spend there brought in a lot of customers then they may have switched their attention there instead, and would be chatting with people there.
On the other hand they have to keep checking here time to time neither to see if there are any complaints, not unusual for casinos and if anything goes wrong they could step in and respond, but until that happens they could focus on the other place that brings in more customers.
Having a representative on bitcointalk, a site where crypto gambling is widely discussed and crypto casinos running various promos all the time will never hurt. It's good that their official representative, @chipsgg, is actually coming to the forum regularly and checking this thread.
I actually have a question regarding enabling 2FA. It's not a complaint because the problem is very likely on my side. But anyway, here it is. When I click "Enable 2FA" here I'm getting a "secret line", something like this: AWBQFAF6WDJYKO26AKDJDKDAFD3ZWG3TQ3T(not my actual line, obviously). Then I copy it and paste here ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FPRGT4TD.png&t=664&c=aS7GG21OiP0mPw) click "Activate", and I'm always getting this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FPPzQadl.png&t=664&c=Qneeh3Fi8Hz9Pw) I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what exactly. Please, explain me how to enable 2FA on chips.gg.

By the way, any person who was lucky and got a big win when he bought a lottery ticket or just started playing did not think that he would be so lucky. And therefore, even for some time after he found out about the win, he is in a state of euphoria or, as you can say, "taken aback" or "fucked up". And for some time his head does not understand and he himself becomes like a five-year-old child. It is very interesting to observe such a reaction of this lucky man. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yeah, you can watch them hitting big multipliers on slots on YouTube, and it's an interesting spectacle indeed. Only "fucked up" is hardly suitable here, mate. You are "fucked up" when you bet $10k and lost it at once. When you bet 30 cents and win $18 million with that bet, "You've done a good job", they say. Although, in fact, it's not you, it's the universe, like in many other cases of lucky turn of events, but who cares? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

In my opinion, the first thing you need to survive under apocalyptic conditions is a good army equipped with heavy weapons. I don't think there is any futuristic city designed with that in mind (CMIIW). Unfortunately, there are still organized military groups acting like weare living in the Stone Age. They end up miserably when confronted with serious force, but you have to have that force.
In a major emergency. Even armies might have nothing to eat. If you have an army, you need extra food to feed them. In some scenarios, it could be better to have a city in a remote location, there are no roads too. Where no one would think to look. Than to have a big army. With a small population that is easy to feed and sustain over the long term. That would make it easier to survive disasters. Rising cost of oil and fossil fuels carry a potential to render armies useless. Much of modern war is built upon oil. Even nuclear powered submarines and aircraft carriers need massive amounts of oil to grease the moving parts. I think russia vs ukraine is showing the limited capability of modern war. Militaries of today may not be able to fully mobilize without incurring costs in the trillions of dollars range. It may not be affordable to launch $400,000 missiles at each other over the long term. High tech weapons are expensive. I think a hundred years ago there was a chance that a secret enclave like the "Galt's Gulch" from Ayn Rand's “Atlas Shrugged" could exist for a few years before it was found by an armed criminal gang mightier than Ragnar Danneskjöld's, but today, with all those Google Maps, Google Earth and stuff, I would give it a few months at best. It's kinda sad, I admit, but it's the reality we are living in: a group of prosperous people can't gather together, build a a city in a remote location and peacefully live there. Without a strong army they will be robbed soon.

~ Yes, the price is going up and down really fast right now and it’s very hard to predict the right price. In my first predictions, I’ve already been very low. I take time for my second prediction and give it only shortly before the end. Fortunately, we still have until september 24. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) What I particularly like is that there are three winners each. It increases the chance of winning . I also wish all other participants good luck. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thank you! Good luck to you too! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
Since we are talking about this, let me share one thing I was always wondering about. What is the difference between predictions made "until 12th" and those made "between 13th-24th"? Do those earlier predictions have a priority of some kind, or just the closest ones win?

~ In general, the economic situation is stable ~
This made me laugh. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I read somewhere that Russians, almost the same as North Koreans, are living in their imaginary world that has little to do with reality, but this post of yours showed the extent of that illusion that even I didn't expect. Just look at these graphs showing the impact of sanctions on the Russian economy: Yeah, "the economic situation is stable", sure. Glad you're having fun. That you are slipping me some kind of charts, I am telling you about my personal feelings from my own life and the lives of my friends. The 2014 sanctions following the annexation of Crimea were far more painful than the current ones. At that time, the ruble more than doubled against the dollar and almost all goods and services more than doubled in price, including the necessary ones, which cannot simply be abandoned. Now goods and services from the category of essential ones have risen in price by 5-10%, and some have even fallen in price, which is why the sanctions are easily tolerated. People in Russia don't have to worry that they won't be able to buy food or pay their electricity and heating bills. Do you really think that I should suffer a lot because I can't go to the IMAX cinema or buy a can of Coca-Cola? This made me laugh too. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Well, it turns out that it's easier to name the brands that did not leave Russia than those who did. So, it's surely not only Coca-Cola and IMAX; it's Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Netflix, Spotify, Intel, Nvidia ... it's McDonald's, FFS! I know you can survive without all that stuff, especially if you are getting your energy from the fact that you are fighting for a good cause and some evil forces united to defeat you, but you seem too intelligent to believe in what Russian propaganda is saying. You know that Russian soldiers are not fighting for a good cause here in Ukraine. In fact, among all Russian citizens, it's people like you, who suffer the most from all of this. So, yeah, I'm kinda glad my words made you laugh too. You need strength to survive until Putin's regime is over. But don't worry. Now it's obvious that it won't take long.

Obviously skilled ones will not end up with a problem, they will most of the time end up winning but in the end it is still gambling and even the worst gambler could end up getting lucky here and there. This is why I believe that you should never consider gambling as a profession, doesn't matter what kind of situation you are in, doesn't matter what you are trying to do, if you want to make money from gambling then you should stay away from it. I believe that the best way to enjoy gambling is to consider the money you deposited as gone, then start trying to have fun with that money because you just spent some money and you want some fun in return of that money. That makes more sense right? It does. Absolutely. That's the best approach to gambling, in my opinion. Even skilled poker players can stumble upon a long losing streak, and it's very important to never risk the money you can't afford to lose. For some people it can be tens of thousands USD, and it can be just dozens of USD for others.

I was having an awful evening of Champions League fixtures and I was having regrets about how all my bets on this round of the competition were turning out for the worse, until I hit this beauty of a parlay from Handball yesterday night as well, I couldn't have anything better to cheer me up ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FJ87Tl3q.png&t=664&c=Y_Hj_WeJJP2hbQ) ~ I was inspired by your post, mate, and just made a multibet with similar odds. https://sportsbet.io/sharebetslip/e064c909-3dde-4030-8d6d-b6efe6209c8f![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fd4ahfdG.png&t=664&c=ugle_2bh-b7U5w) I know my chances are slim, but I have to try, because I think I've noticed a pattern: odds must be 1.5 and above, and below 2.0 at the same time. I'll try to use this pattern several times in the future, because I'm not that presumptuous to think I can win from the first try. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) We'll see how it turns out for me.

~ To be honest, I'm not sure about the possibility of adding such a thing to the game. Are there online games where your physical force is a factor? I think there are no such games online because they can be easily exploited by malicious attackers.
What do you mean by physical force as a factor in online gambling games? Do you mean buying a special tool which measures your force and submitting your results online? That sounds like an interesting concept. But you would still have to invest in the mentioned tool if you wanted to compete, as that is not something you could do simply using your computer. And even then people would find ways to cheat and I doubt there would be good ways to control that nobody cheats. You would not even need the tool to cheat, you would just write some code that emulates the tool and just let the code work automatically for you while you win everytime. Does not seem like a good idea to me. Interesting, just not viable very much. ~ Yes, that's exactly what I mean. The attacker can act in a fashion similar to the way of stealing a car, or something. You can do it without having the key, just imitating what the key is doing. It is surely not a good idea, because stealing is bad, obviously, but it could be viable, imo, especially if applied to the games where physical force is a factor. I think we need games where such things as cheating are made impossible by the main control being on the server side. Yes, we have lots of such games. In fact, all the games that are purely based on luck are unexploitable, unless the attacker knows the server seed.

For what you're checking "Other" tabs? That's tabs just for history activity beside (Deposit, Betting and Withdraw) not for code distribution. You need to be qualified for receive the code via email, after you receive the code and claim the code. Then, your history claim will be on "Other". You are right, at first I thought you are just get credited with the bonus, without entering/redeeming a promo code anywhere. Just like with the Tip Receive or Instant Bits or something. I was receiving pretty big tips from Duelbits last year ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FfmKaSkZ.png&t=664&c=lhFftqgz47tCpQ) ^^ Just look at the money I received from Duelists within 2 weeks due to my winning in various contests run by them.

Yes, it is unlikely if we take only one week, but take 30 weeks, and it is not that unlikely anymore, right?
The chance would be only around 9.7% As already calculated, the chance to not win any lottery ticket in a week is 0.338%. This means that the chance to win at least 1 lottery ticket in a week is 99.662% So, the chance to have at least 1 week without any lottery ticket in a 30 week period is around 9.7%. 1 - 0.99662 30 = 0.0966 Yeah, that's what I mean, around 10% isn't a small chance. If someone told you he lost betting with 90% chance of winning you wouldn't be that surprised, right? So, I don't know why people keep saying it's very unlikely. It is just unlikely, but not very unlikely, you know. I wouldn't bet a big amount betting it with 90% win chance, would you? So what is the best route to spend WoF's?
Save them and spend them all at once?
I was spending my WoF's daily but if it makes more sense to save up, then I'll do that.
Right now getting 50 sats from WoF's.
Saving them and spending all at once I find the least entertaining thing to do with your WoF spins. Spinning the WoF, one spin at a time, every time expecting a great win, that's what I like to do. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

There are two (2) types of gamblers: first is the one who chases for profits; the other is the one who finds it purely for entertainment.
Actually there are more type than that. Some gamble due to curiousness, other for social benefits and more.~ I don't know, can't all that be labelled as entertainment? I mean, I agree with qwertyup23, your goal can be either getting money, or getting entertainment from gambling. With this simple classification we can easily separate what's wrong from what's right. When you started spinning slots with entertainment purposes in mind, but in the process of the game, after losing $20 you suddenly want to win it back, you should know you are stepping on the wrong road.

True. You can never tell a person is successful when he has all the riches and fame, simply because not everyone has the same thinking and life’s goals. For all we know, success does not matter until we hit our life’s satisfaction. But the sad reality is no one gets satisfaction in life no matter how successful he is. I think that’s a human nature, but as long as we chose to be more happy and grateful in all our achievements, that what matters the most. It is a human nature, indeed. In fact, we, humans, have evolved to be like this. When I was a little kid, my life goal was to surround myself with chocolate and eat it all the time. I thought I didn't need anything else. Fast-forward to a grown-up man who can actually afford that kind of living, but it turns out that he needs much more than that. ... We are never fully satisfied, and it's a good thing. That's why we have progress, the constant improvement of the world around us.

~And I think poker courses are not really that relevant as people get to know more and develop more skills in poker games if they often play it in casinos. I’m not saying that these courses are useless, but people actually learn more from their own experience.
It can be true of some things, but not about poker. Yes, you could learn a lot from your own experience if you were someone playing 20 tables at ones, 10 hours per day for 20 years, but it would be much easier, and faster, to learn how to play from a pro. However, if you want to gain more customers, you should have post these courses here and at least give some details about it so that the people here will develop interest in it. It's actually a good advice. OP is promissing to "explain everything in detail" via PM, but it would be better to see at list some details here in this thread.

who is on the 42nd place after moving 5 positions up. What pleases me is that we have traveled only through 6 rounds out of our 38 rounds long journey. Much can change within the next 2-3 rounds, let alone all of them.
Just to be clear, and that you don't get the wrong idea. I wish you the best of luck, but you're not allowed to overtake me at any point in this season, at least from now ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) . It's not sanctioned, I'm sitting comfortably in my 42nd slot with .5 more points, and I'd like that to be respected ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . Well, after a post like this I'm gonna keep an eye on your position against mine till the Round 38, on May 30th 2023 . ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It was easy to beat you in the previous year when you were rarely predicting(if ever), but now that you are active, I accept the challenge. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ~ To make things even harder to predict, Chelsea will have a new coach for the game.
Usually this should make things easier and not harder but of course it is not always the case.Whenever a new coach comes he will do anything in his power to win the first game to show the management that they have made the right decision and that he started his duty with the right foot. ~ I don't know. Yes, of course, a new coach wants to win the first game, but what are the stats on that? Do they often succeed?
