We trust a casino based on their reputation and I think they don't need to acquire a license in order to operate as long as there's no legal risk on their side. What I'm trying to say is that, if all of them will get the license, that means they'll be regulated and therefore KYC will become mandatory, so what happen to anonymous gambling then?

Since they are running a business, it's really mandatory that their company should have a license to make everything legit. Maybe that statement of yours can be applied to those people that have already been in crypto for long but gambling sites also target new users to their site. Making their business a complete legit service if they will undergo and comply with the regulation is one of the factors that most new users preferred.

However, no need to think of it now as somehow, we can bet that a mandatory KYC will not happen, at least for now.

We don't have an idea how the other imports play. It's always favorable to him for the opinion of fans because we know how he plays. But there could be some surprises for the other imports.

I hope to see that surprise as it's not good if Brownlee will still dominate like in the past season, his greatest rival is only Allen Durham who also won the best import award before playing with the Meralco Bolts. It's been a while, I almost forgot the imports the last time the PBA have this conference, so it's like freshen our mind on these imports.

Actually, it's not that Brownlee is dominating the imports but the whole Ginebra is just doing great as a team.

And just for reference at others here, Brownlee only won once as a Best Import in the PBA on his 4 PBA Champions. At the time Ginebra got their first champion with Brownlee, the Best Import at that conference is Allen Durham of the Meralco Bolts. A year later, Allen Durham again won the award. Then Brownless was next.

He is not the dominant import in the league in the past conferences even his overall stats are good but his chemistry to Ginebra is exactly fit that's why the team always has a good rally when Brownlee is there.

Do you still remember how many times he won a championship being an import of the Ginebra San Miguel?

I can always remember his winning shot that eliminated the Allem Durham's team in the Finals, I'm not sure if it's his first time to win the championship in the PBA but that win is really great as it's a buzzer-beater win.

the highlights.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iPH5oyG8Zs

Yes, I mentioned it bro, 4 times championships in Ginebra. But it's not totally that Brownlee dominates the imports there as on that 3 championships, he only gets the Best Import Award once. That 4 championship in Ginebra is a team effort and Brownless leads them.

That's the reason why he only won once because, on other teams, they just rely on imports mostly. In picking the best PBA imports, they rely on stats. Different from Brownlee that while he is leading the team, other Ginebra gunners are also playing well and contributing.

And you are correct. That clutch shot by Brownlee was his first championship as a Barangay Ginebra.
2883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 07, 2021, 10:05:26 PM
this is one thing with researches we can't really get 100% of the data correctly but with statistics you can get a clear picture of society if the data is reliable
but I agree with you commment, spending more time on it is likely to make it a habit, could be right

Yes, there are no accurate data. But given they used the same criteria when conducting that research, they get a different result compared to usual (prior pandemic). If the data will be extracted again today, I'm sure there are now changes since in most parts of the globe, especially in the UK, people's activities are now not limited to only gambling.
2884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 07, 2021, 09:29:34 PM
And then here's the Lakers superteam who are still struggling lol.

That's the problem, others are considering the Lakers as a superteam so they are expecting something different. I don't see how they become a superteam even prior to the start of the season and I mentioned it here. These guys are composed of mostly veterans. They are prone to struggling. But yes, these veterans should know how to step up. But still, too early to conclude they are a rubbish team with no chemistry. We are still in the early phase of the season even they are already behind other teams in terms of proper blending.
The question is how long they will struggle, people would always assume they are the best team because they have the best player in the NBA which is Lebron James, they called him the came for a reason. Davis and James won a championship together and now added Westbrook in the roster, that should make this team better, or maybe let's give them more time to figure out how to do it right and last option is to trade Westbrook whom I'm sure other teams would also be more interested on him.

For the topic here about MVP, I think it's too early to discuss. In most cases, weekly power rankings always changed. If we see someone who is able to maintain their stand at the weekly race until the All-Star break, then we can somehow predict who will be the possible MVP this season.
Yes it's too early but at least we already have an idea now who performs well and that gives some hint on who will win the MVP this season, I'm talking about being a gambler who is willing to put a bet on how would win.

For how long they will struggle, no one knows. It's people's problem now because they think the Lakers are the best team since they have Lebron James. They are not the best team in the West. I even think my favorite Dallas Mavericks, not biased here, can beat them in the series match even with their healthy lineup. It's been a long season already where the NBA enthusiast knows that LeBron doesn't have the ability now to carry a team so I don't know what's the catch that since Lakers have LeBron James, Lakers should always be on top.

About the MVP race, seriously the early games will give us a hint on who will become an MVP? From a gambler's perspective, it's better to check the monthly ladder compare to the weekly ladder. Gamblers won't get behind by not checking the MVP race rankings regularly.

The casino may ask for casino alright but if they decide to seize the user money, that would be theft. Some casinos afraid of bad publicity so they give the user funds back but some others don't really care. Luckily, the casino that  run ad campaigns here mostly give the user funds back.

Case-to-case basis. That's why right at the start, gamblers should just use a site that's already reputable and long in the business. Not an assurance that most users will have a smooth transaction as always on that site but at least, we are sure the platform won't do some shitty things regarding the user's deposit money in case got detected using a VPN or any terms that were violated.

I have read online of the term independence dicing but the article did not cover a weather prospect that could build a body of knowledge in that article therefore making the topic void of information so I decided to share the topic here. What is your understanding of independent dice?

To sort this thing out, the question should be asked to you, what is your understanding about independent dice? The term catches your attention so give us a brief detail about your general knowledge about independence dicing or whatever it calls.

If we will see your own thought about the subject, we might can give a much better response.
2889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 07, 2021, 08:20:39 PM
It's just so disappointing that not everyone sees gambling as a source of entertainment but rather a source of income especially for those who are having a hard time finding a stable job during this pandemic situation. If we'll just have a proper mindset, we'll know how to get rid of gambling addiction. I hope that the UK government would do something to help decrease the percentage of gambling addiction in their country.

Generally, there is nothing wrong to treat gambling as a source of income "as long as" those gamblers are responsible at their end and can maintain winnings stats along the way to support their bankroll. I even disagree with the idea that gambling is just for entertainment purposes. Didn't you know that it's more entertainment if we will win always and loses are minimal?

If we'll just have a proper mindset, we'll know how to get rid of gambling addiction.

Can't be applied to anyone. The most appropriate term is "If we have the proper mindset, we know how to manage our gambling activity properly". No need to totally get rid of gambling.
2890  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deron Williams to fight in an undercard on Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight. on: November 07, 2021, 08:10:28 PM
Anyway, does anybody think that the rise of celebrity boxing matches is already reaching a bothersome point?

Even real and professional boxers are voicing out concerns at these exhibitions and cross-matches fights since last year saying, what the hell is happening now in the boxing world wherein even out of the league, some personalities will enter the sports.

Good thing there are lots of real professional fights now on the lineup (like the recently Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant match). If goes back again to normal, I doubt this exhibition match will still be hype regardless if the involved are famous personalities.
2891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: November 07, 2021, 08:05:23 PM

Caleb Plant, although seems really struggling throughout the match, stands still at the end. Almost a decision and close to avoiding losing on being Knock Out. Bettors who placed a bet for the decision were almost a win but Canelo spoiled it. Congratulations to Canelo being an undisputed super-middleweight champion who currently holds 4 titles in different weight classes.

Also, congrats to bettors who put bets for Canelo winning by TKO despite being considered as low odds.
2892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NO KYC Sportbooks? on: November 06, 2021, 11:52:20 PM
The user can do that and there's no choice for the gambling site but to return the deposit, however, isn't it unfair for the gamblers that he could not take his win because his account got flagged for suspicious activities just because he cannot comply with the KYC? I mean, they can fabricate stories just to make sure they'll not pay the gamblers and that's their advantage in this game since we choose to play anonymously.

That will now end up in a public trial to somehow pressure the site. If the site is reputable and has a large community especially here in the forum, there's a chance they won't do that kind of shitty response and treatment to their customers.

I hope so that's not always the case and everything will be settled properly between the site and users.
2893  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deron Williams to fight in an undercard on Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight. on: November 06, 2021, 11:44:03 PM

Is Deron Williams still capable of doing training especially in bouts? He becomes undervalued in NBA because of some injuries and that makes him slow down. In boxing, there should be no room for being slowed down. How come he can move properly. While exhibition matches are crazy nowadays, so is their undercard.

I don't know why Deron enters the world of boxing out of the moon. Something that is not expected by him.
2894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 06, 2021, 11:33:48 PM
Unfortunately, not only rich people but now many people coming from many elements are also playing gambling because of this pandemic. It is not only about the wealth that we have, but the condition that may lead or drive us to gamble.  Grin

That makes sense.

There's a thread here before wherein it states that some casinos are established in deprived areas as there are more potential gamblers there compared to urban and established areas. It just states that no matter what's the life status, financial status, capability status, pandemic or not, people will find and make way to do gambling.

Got any thoughts 76ers vs Bulls ? Philly currently at 2.49 ML

Although Philly got the win on their first meeting against the Bulls just a few days ago, there are things that changed.

The 2 starters of Philly, Furkan Korkmaz and Matisse Thybulle, who plays a good role in why they won against the Bulls during their first meeting, are listed as questionable and out respectively. Thybulle is the one who takes Lavigne limiting his good shooting percentage. However, despite that, Lavigne still managed to gather 27 points. Who will guard him now the same way as Thybulle did? While Sixers is having a good record on a road game, Chicago Bulls on the other hand also has a good record playing at home.

Only a few players left on the Sixers roster to fill the gap and as we know Chicago Bulls, it's hard to deal with them in a healthy lineup. That's the reason why they got that @2.49 ML odds.
2896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 06, 2021, 11:11:44 PM
Maybe now it's more on money fight that will go directly to fighters and promoters pocket.

Likely that would be the case and not as a charity event. Tyson may be surprised at how much they earned on their last exhibition match with Roy Jones Jr. and considered it as a big opportunity to profit.

Just to give anyone an idea, the Tyson vs Jones Jr. exhibition match collects a total of 1.6 Million Pay-Per-Views. We can now picture out how much they made only from Pay-Per-Views alone.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: November 06, 2021, 11:01:16 PM
The fight is already tomorrow night right?

I haven't bet yet but it seems the majority is going for Canelo to win before 10 rounds, and it's 1.86 currently. So I guess this is still very attractive.

Plant ML - 7.00
Canelo ML - 1.09.

Not sure if there will be someone who are going to bet on Caleb here for an upset win.

Yes, November 7th. From an odds of @5, Caleb Plant is now on around @7. That means Caleb has been looked down on more by the odds providers that have no chance to win against Canelo.

Currently at Stake platform, the odds for Caleb Plant to win @6. What site offering that @7? Or it was the odds the time when you checked it.

If anyone is eyeing for Canelo, no choice but the best bet you can get is Canelo by Decision which is currently @2.75 at Stake.
2898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 06, 2021, 10:53:02 PM
Who you got on Jazz vs Miami? I can't seem to find an update if Mitchell or Lowry will play for their respective teams. The Heat looks to have the advantage offensively if both players mentioned won't play but Clarkson seems to have gotten out of his slump lately and will be shooting a lot.

Donovan Mitchell is questionable for the Utah Jazz.
Kyle Lowry is questionable too for the Miami Heat.

Right now the Moneyline odds are so close. For me, I will pass the Moneyline here and go for handicap or point spread instead. Any chosen team will do as they can both cover it. Now depends on what team will you choose.
2899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 06, 2021, 10:46:08 PM

Just as I expected and posted previously here, the league now has a tentative date for the start of the PBA's next conference. The date was between November 26 to 28. Again, just a tentative date as their concern was the period where Manila will be put on Level 2 restrictions. It's only for 16 days (until Nov. 19th if I'm not mistaken). After that date, there's no assurance if the same level will be imposed later on. Only in Level 2 were sports activity were allowed.

With the current status of pandemic cases here, I think Manila will not shift back to a much strict level restriction and will continue in Level 2. If that happened, the league can now officially start on the said dates and they might allow fans at the venues if ever.

If allowed in venues, fans to get ‘warm welcome’ from PBA
2900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Country restriction and use of vpn or tor on: November 06, 2021, 11:04:23 AM
Lots of gambling sites restrict the usage of VPNs for some reason. Some users could only abuse their promos and bonuses by creating multiple accounts using VPN which could only result in the site's losses. It's better to follow their TOS than to regret it later on. That's the reason why we're encouraged to read their TOS first upon signing up.

Honestly, for that reason, I don't understand how it became an advantage for multiple accounts.

In most cases, bonuses need a required investment. For me, it's kind of super effort if the user will put deposits at those newly created accounts until they will get the bonuses. Looking at some gambling sites today, not worth the effort to abuse it.

But yes, maybe if there's a new site that has a unique promotion and is easy to achieve, that might work. But today, newly created gambling sites are having difficult getting an attention so it's also a risk for those who want to abuse the promotions that needed an investment.
