2881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Problems with Bitcoins Mined in 2009 on: June 21, 2022, 11:56:55 PM
What is your backup?
Seed phrase do not exist yet in the year 2009 and the public key you mention won't be able to use for recovery.

Maybe if you have wallet.dat file or private key then you can recover your old wallet. Do you have any of these?
2882  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Red light on s9j on: June 21, 2022, 10:55:51 PM
You need to be patient when using Sdcards to flash any miner, I tried a few till I found one that works great, I don't know why but those miners are very picky about what Sdcard they like, also make sure you are copying the files in the main directory of the Sdcard, follow the steps by Bitmain very closely it should work.

Actually, it's not very picky most of the SD cards right now on the market are fake with fake volumes I have experienced this before when saving photos and videos and half of my files are corrupted that is why I end up using a tester/scanner SD card tool to know the problem and half of the total volume is fake.

I search about this issue on how to fake that volume and end up registering on a hackforum with a guide on how to make a 1GB SD card into a 2GB SD card this method is spreading and I think this is the reason why we have a fake SD card.

So only use authentic SD cards like Sandisk or Authentic Samsung SD cards. Don't buy those very cheap SD cards on the market almost all of them are fake with fake volume.
2883  Other / Meta / Re: No, the forum server did not go down. on: June 21, 2022, 10:18:24 PM
I haven't experienced any issue recently even on accessing other websites maybe not all people are affected by this outage and based on the status there are still rerouting servers.
If anyone knows good usable alternative for Cloudflare in 2022 please post it below.

The only two options that I know and experienced before are Aws CloudFront and Sucuri but I mostly use Cloudflare because it's free and there are many guides that you can find on Google.
2884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any resources to do your own on-chain analysis? on: June 21, 2022, 10:00:16 PM
There is only two option that I know best for on-chain analysis both of them are already mentioned above cryptoquant and glassnode.
Since you are asking for learning resources I would like to share this link below to learn more about FA(Fundamental analysis) with on-chain data.

And take note that the link above is not only about on-chain analysis you can also learn about technical analysis and other trading strategies including all tools that you can use for free and paid.
2885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a global currency ? on: June 21, 2022, 03:09:45 PM
Bitcoin is globally used as a cryptocurrency or digital money and since it's virtual money and there is no physical bitcoin you shouldn't call it a currency because it's a cryptocurrency.

And I think in some countries bitcoin is currently banned so it's not yet globally used. Maybe in the future, if bitcoin wasn't banned in all countries.
2886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange has less hassles in terms of multiple verifications? on: June 21, 2022, 01:19:34 PM
Why not use Binance over the other exchange?
In my experience after KYC, I never experienced any hassles using their service including p2p trading.
Unless you are living in the US? Binance US is very strict on policies compared to their Binance.com domain.
Be careful on using Kucoin if you are planning to trade there without KYC because you won't be able to withdraw without passing KYC verification. I heard someone experienced this and never solve his issue with a large number of funds under his account.

Actually all exchanges have strict policies if you want to avoid them then the only solution is to use P2P exchange that doesn't need any KYC verification.

Check this link below for no KYC exchanges.

2887  Other / Meta / Re: Trouble posting images? on: June 20, 2022, 11:53:40 PM
You can without having an account with them. I don't know why it was asking you for having the account.

I don't think so, I can even use the tool without having an account.

I think that is why he said he can't upload images without an account in imgur maybe he is trying to upload images through the phone which is no option or upload button when accessing the Imgur through a mobile phone.
But if he downloaded the imgur app he can able to upload without registering. On the PC when accessing the website the +New post button is there unlike on the phone.
2888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: pine script bot for paper trading? on: June 20, 2022, 11:42:44 PM
Looking at information wundertrading has more options than 3commas but dont think it supports paper trading

I search a bit and both of them support paper trading but I never heard wundertrading before so I end up checking it through whois and this is what I found.

Code:
Domain:wundertrading.com
Registrar:GoDaddy.com, LLC
Registered On:2022-02-14
Expires On:2023-02-14
Updated On:2022-03-01

It is newly registered and I don't think it would be a good idea to use their service with your real account using API it is not safe to use unlike 3commas which is already tested by many people here on the forum.

Check the 3commas paper trading here "3commas Demo Mode"

If you are looking for more list of Bots then check this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278392
2889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: pine script bot for paper trading? on: June 20, 2022, 11:22:38 PM
I do not know exactly what is pine script but based on Google it is a programming language made by TradingView so the script only can be used on TradingView.

Why not try other bots like Zenbot since you have two strategies that you want to try live I think Zenbot has backtesting.

Check their Github here https://github.com/DeviaVir/zenbot
Then use the search button under that repo. To find the guide about backtesting.
2890  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Red light on s9j on: June 20, 2022, 11:04:30 PM
It could be a control board if the SD card flashing.
But how about the firmware you downloaded? What exact source where you downloaded the SD card image?

Ok I’m saying it’s a bad board or a firmware issue, I’m thinking of selling it or sending it to someone to be diagnosed and possibly fixed. Is there anyone that could diagnose these for a reasonable cost?

If you are looking for a repair center near in your area you can check this https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/

2891  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do real traders care about bear & bull market? on: June 18, 2022, 11:47:04 PM
Day trading is not easy you need to wait for an opportunity to buy at a low price and sell a little profit when the price rises a bit.
Just like like today as sample image below.

If you bought BTC at around $17k and then sold it at around $19k you already made around 9% to 10% but the problem it is not worth it if you only have a small investment in trading you can only notice your profit if you have big amount of funds in your portfolio. And you should be ready for the price drop and set a stop limit before you lose more profit.

The only difference between a bear and bull market is that you can only get a small profit in a bear market unlike in a bull market you can make more profit and you do not worry about price drops because you HODL and wait for another price rise to cover loses.

There are lots of threads with the same question/topic why don't you use the search button above to find them?
Since you are here for almost 2 years and you are already a Sr. member you should already know how to use search button.

Anyway, check these threads below to get an idea about your topic.

2893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Fall Below The Previous 20k ATH possible? on: June 17, 2022, 11:58:37 PM
Bitcoin is too volatile no one knows what will be the price of Bitcoin and this is not yet the right time to decide if $20k is the bottom price of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin blockhalving is a good time to invest lo because if you know the Bitcoin price history you should notice that thing.

Check the chart from this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_bitcoin then scroll down.

As you can see Dec 2017 reach the highest price of around $19k and the price dropped last December 2018 to around $3.3k so I don't think that $20k is the bottom price so there is still a big possibility that the price of Bitcoin this year will drop more. I'm not FUD it is just my own analysis based on Bitcoin price history.
2894  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: https://toxvoe.icu / INVUSDT on: June 17, 2022, 11:24:40 PM
How did you find this website?

The website is pretty new so how does someone invest in this website?

Whois says:
Code:
Registered On:2022-06-02
Expires On:2023-06-02
Updated On:2022-06-02

There are some Chinese under the website script which is obvious the owner is Chinese.

All investment sites that promise to double your investment are all scams there is no legit one. And this thread must be moved under service discussion.

If you don't own this website I suggest edit your thread and remove the https:// so that the website won't get any backlinks here on the forum. If not then you are helping the website to promote and rank up on SERP.
2895  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MSPRO.IO - is it a fraud? on: June 17, 2022, 10:54:15 PM
Is there anyway they can be reported? and the coins be recovered?

How did you end up investing in this without asking someone or doing some research before you invest?
There are no investment sites that will double your investment by just transferring your coins to their website they are most likely scam.

The weird thing is that how did you find this website? Do you own this doubler?

Because the website currently does not have any good backlinks only here and the LinkedIn and it's also posted on the BMF forum so how did you end up investing in this website?

Since the domain was registered on www.nic.ru you can report it there or contact email@nic.ru about this website to take down or ban this domain.

Adding this I review the source code a bit and the console is disabled he uses this script console-ban v3.2.0 and other protection scripts to avoid someone to open the console like right-clicking disable.

2896  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Is firmware worth it for small timers? on: June 17, 2022, 04:33:24 PM
If you want to overclock/underclock your ASIC machines those firmware will work plus you can have a better feature like autotuning that could improve your miner's hashrate and efficiency.

Only two OS are best and active here on the forum Braiins OS and ASIC.to firmware braiinsOS dev fee is 2.5% asic.to is 2.8% but they both have the same feature(Not all).
If you want lesser dev fees then Braiins OS+ is the best choice and you can also get 0% pool fees if you mine directly to slushpool.

But if you don't want to pay dev fees then stay with stock firmware.
2897  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S9 fine control of power / hash rate. Dynamically disconnecting boards on: June 17, 2022, 03:50:23 PM
Check ASIC.to firmware and BraiinsOS I think you can fully control your miner with that firmware.

Or you can discuss it on their official thread here below

Asic.to
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4513567.0

Braiins OS
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5036844.0

About solar I suggest check this thread below and maybe you can get some idea about the solar setup.

2898  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1246 "High performance" does not work on: June 17, 2022, 03:20:13 PM
~snip~
Is the software from your link installed on a PC and I connect to the miner via a network (UTP) cable?
I can't lower the temperature. I would need to work ideally somewhere around 85-90 ° C.

Thank you so much

Well based on their manual the TMAX shouldn't exceed more than 85c I don't know what firmware exactly your miner using but that is the max limit temp for this unit.

About the software yes you need both miner and PC and must be connected to the same network.
2899  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Learn And Earn on: June 16, 2022, 11:45:31 PM
Unlike before they do free satoshis from doing some tasks like verifying email or submitting tasks and got rewarded of around $10 or more.
But right now learn and earn is a waste of time I have the graph token until now it is stuck and can't able to trade or exchange for fiat or USDT.

If your purpose is to learn to trade you don't need to look for rewards you can learn to trade on other platforms without spending check this link "Awesome Crypto Trading" then use the trading simulator included on that link and then test what you learn from that link.
2900  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is investing more than you can afford to lose inevitable? on: June 16, 2022, 11:25:03 PM
If you talking about Bitcoin if you invest in Bitcoin there is a possibility to lose profit that is why most other people said invest only what you can afford to lose because Bitcoin and other cryptos are too volatile and not stable as dollars unless if you are holding stable coins like USDT/USDC.

However, if you know the right time when to invest in Bitcoin then what you can only see is profit. Like others including me, blockhalving is the right time to invest but if you believe in Bitcoin right now you can start investing in Bitcoin and hold them tight for a long period of time but expect for price drop this coming few months.
What I would like to learn is that Bitcoin is volatile and you should learn to do some analysis on when is the right time to buy.
My tip is read the Bitcoin price history on Wiki you can find it here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_bitcoin then scroll down.
