2881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: May 24, 2019, 07:15:30 AM
Obama once said this about Bitcoin..... "its like having a Swiss bank account in your pocket"....he is correct.  Since Banks are already in bed with many governments, Banks will never allow for a government to embrace Bitcoin.
That actually makes sense. Bitcoins can be compared to Swiss banks as the similarities between both of them has some kind of match. Peoples store then excess funds in Swiss bank and so is been followed with bitcoins. As long as I know, there is not limit and restrictions to use our money in the Swiss bank which is followed by bitcoins. governments from each country might be knowing the benefits behind bitcoins but they are much wise and they would never let decentralized system ruin their centralized payment system. Surveys state that if bitcoins are legalized, they would minimize upto 60% of the fiat currency trades which would not at all be profitable for the governments.
2882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cannabis Coin status and future on: May 24, 2019, 06:46:14 AM
I have been mining Cannabiscoin lately. The coin has been around for 4 years or so, but they are being delisted because they found vulnerabilities in the blockchain .

They are working on integrating to a better platform .  They are considering Komodo or Waves platform .   Does this process take a long time ?

For some reason , the price of the coin has been rising .  I thought it would keep dropping because its being desisted.  Any thoughts ?
It depends on the capacity of their devs, if they have enough devs to work on the upgrade, then it shouldn't be something that would take a long time to set up but if their is just one developer in charge of development of their project, then it should take a longer time to get this done, I am saying this based on my experience as a developer too, so you have no choice than to wait for the upgrade to be launched and see what next comes to them, whether they will be listed back on those exchanges or they will be delisted.

2884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB Forecast broken and Bull run begins for BNB Hodlers on: May 24, 2019, 05:46:48 AM
I was surprised when I saw the price of BNB at $32 yesterday but with the potential of the coin I think there will be more surprises before the end of the year. I think the coin can reach $100 before the end of the year.
This is pretty amazing to track the progress of BNB and the accelerated growth that has been happening lately. In my opinion, the reason behind the fast growing BNB is big players from the Binance exchange. Since majority if the crypto users are on Binance, the big players of course could be the driving force behind BNB. Anyways, it is going to be among the top three coins soon.
2885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: May 24, 2019, 05:20:15 AM
Really it will become just like gambling, addictive and manipulative, it's very much like poker only if you are an expert you can accomplish something

This is also a remind for myself, sometime I would like to trade again but I remember the bad experiences I had with it and stop

Cryptocurrency trading is unpredictable and mostly technical analysis while gambling has fixed odd system for all major games and I believe that crypto trading is not another kind of gambling.
Bad experiences are part of trader's education and those mistakes you've made will make you wiser in the future. If you really want to become a successful trader then accept every bad experience, learn from it and continue trading.
It is nature of cryptocurrency which stay unknown and nobody can realize what will occur straightaway, so we should get familiar with each one of those progressions since it gives us more opportunities to get benefit and take real advantage of cryptocurrency, in the event that you are real trader you should learn before you get in trading, gain knowledge and experience which is the most significant thing in trading and it truly matter.
Every expert will suggest you not to trade until and unless you know how to trade and when to trade plus many basic things about trading. This is common sense and you should understand it because you just cannot take off an air plan if you do not have the skills to do so. So better try to learn and start with small capital and keep on increasing your stack slowly.
2886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: STEP TO TAKE WHEN PAYMENT IS BEEN DELAYED BY AN ONLINE CASINO on: May 23, 2019, 10:58:04 AM
I played on casino site some days back and won a  certain amount of money, i was expecting to cash out my money instantly because one of the things that lured me to the site was the fact they offer instant payment. Its been days now and am yet to get my money. Please help what can i do in this case because i am becoming impatient
What site is that? you have to contact the customer services or anyone who are connected to that gambling site and tell them your problem.
If there's a delay on my withdrawal, I would get out of my money and i will not let that casino to take my money easily. I'll expose their shit sites if they can't pay me that's how you make shit with the gambling sites who you can't trust.
We see such frustration in the eyes of many gamblers when something like that happens to them because they win after their efforts. Such sites which are not responsive in this regard should be crashed by search engines because they should provide a safe source. If search engines look into their responsibility and we also think wisely to play with famous sites then there will be no issue I think.
2887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 51btc won in a day on: May 23, 2019, 10:21:49 AM
So it is real that people win this big on gambling Wink I think i have to start learning tactics to becoming a proffessional player, am tired of been an occasional
player that only plays for fun. The real business is here Grin Grin
It could sound hilarious to some and a motivation for others. I myself do not believe in such winnings because they are way too much and looks a bit impossible but in a world in which Binance could be hacked, winning 51BTC is not impossible as well. In addition, it triggers a motivation to achieve perfection in gambling and once you have achieved it, you can win as big as this.
Motivational inspirations for a person who wanted to achieve its goal, but there's always a big catch there, if you want to proceed make sure that you have spare money to use, never allow yourself to bring bankroll which you can let go, there's always a bad sides of this industry so make sure you are mindly prepared and you have the capabilities to stick with your plans and system.
There should be a plan B, always. Let me quote recent international news that was shared a million times over social media. The suspension of deal between Huawei and Google. But Huawei had plan B and they have been working over it for the last seven years and this is just incredible. I mean it stunned the US. So coming back, yeah you should have some extra money always. The wise people put this money in a separate account offered by their banks.
2888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bear market season change to bullrun? on: May 23, 2019, 09:36:45 AM
Studying the market trend, you will see that sometimes the market turns red but the green is dominant. We can say that the bear market period has ended and bull run is the trending time now. This has given crypto enthusiasts hope once again.
we must keep thinking positively about the market situation. we all realize that the market might be red because that's how it works from the crypto market. for those who understand, the price decline can actually be a chance to get bigger profits.

When prices fall, I think we are afraid again, not thinking about investment opportunities. At that time everyone was afraid that the market would fall, and they always wanted to buy at very cheap prices
Warren Buffett is famous for his business related quotations and he says that when everyone in the market is fearful, you should be greedy and this can bring you great fortune. People who have been investing a lot at times of depression and disasters get the value of their assets exponentially raised upon the revival of peace and stability. It is good to invest in bearish market.
2889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Foundation Spring 2019 Update on: May 23, 2019, 08:36:40 AM
There is nothing as great as a community because they are the one making project grow, the stronger the community you have, the stronger your project would be. This is why am sure that in few years to come, if this companies already in existence do not implement crypto and blockchain technology into their system, it would get to a time when they would not be relevant anymore because there would be a great community in the crypto space and this will make crypto companies have more worth than theirs.
2890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO or STO or SAFT? What's the safest bet? on: May 23, 2019, 08:01:38 AM
It seems people nowadays don't even get themselves into ICO's anymore because of the lack of hype and shady projects surfacing. Now there is always something new under the table like STOs, or ILP's, and now SAFTs. Giant companies like Bitmain and Telegram used IPOs to raise funds, Kodak used a SAFT, and other large blockchain based businesses used ICOs. What is the safest bet and how can you guarantee a positive ROI going thru these crowdfunding platforms? I have a hat that says 'Make ICO's Great Again' even tho that's definitely not possible.

"With an ICO the founders of a crypto startup could raise money without diluting their own shares in the company.

The problem with ICOs is that literally anyone with a whitepaper, a slick-looking website, and an idea could launch one and begin raising funds.

A damning study
by ICO advisory firm States Group concluded that around 80 percent of ICOs carried out in 2017 were complete scams.

Throw in confusion over governmental regulation, with regulators themselves admitting that ICOs can begin life as a security and transform into another asset type down the line, and it’s easy to see why the ICO craze has quickly dropped off."

Sub-question: whatever crowdfunding idea you voted for, why did you vote for it?

Photo and quote source: https://southafricatoday.net/cryptocurrency/saft-vs-ico-which-approach-is-better-in-2019/
I rather go for STOs that ICO because I have invested in so many ICO project since last year up until now and I don't really have anything to write home about because all of them always turns out to become a shitcoin or the value is below ICO price after waiting for months to see the coin hit the exchange, this has been so frustrating and it made me gave up on all ICO because I believe that I would continue to have same experience over and over again.
2891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO you think ICO websites help investors to choose best ICO to participate? on: May 23, 2019, 07:31:36 AM
I think ICO websites are useful because they provide the main info about almost any ICO project, but I do not use them for making the decision whether to invest in the project or not.
ICO was the fundraising mechanism that caused a boom back in 2018 but they ran out of trust due to fake involvements. I think it is still pretty good to hodl ICO if your project has what it takes to raise funds. But the trendy option for the crypto startups is rather IEO now. They feel it is a quick way to get the hard cap gained if the exchange is good.
2892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which factors influence your decision of choosing an online crypto casino? on: May 23, 2019, 07:00:27 AM
- number of players online
- user and community reviews
- very good support team (24/7 support is great)
- outstanding mobile app
- user friendly interface, easy to use
- referral system
- instant withdrawals
- no kyc
- high level of security
- more currencies than bitcoin

it's difficult to create a platform which implement all of those

I am quite new at crypto world and I am holding some Futurocoin so I play at Futurobet 'cause that's the only platform which let me to use them

i like them only because they have fto available
They are some very good points one should think in order to escape loss at gambling sites. No KYC is the best in the interest of the gamblers who do not want to be known by others. Users base is another important thing to look at and gives you an insight into whether the site in genuine. Instant withdrawals are what we all wants and yeah, it should also be taken into account before selecting a website.
2893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: May 23, 2019, 06:28:25 AM
No formula for lottery, however if a number is already drawn or pre-drawn, at least it gives you an idea what number is left for you to pick but then again if there are 42 numbers to pick and only 1 is drawn or made public already, its still hard to guess what number is going to be picked next. Its still luck that will help you win the lottery not any kind of formula.
Lottery does not need to be from a 42 deck of cards. There are lottery draws done by sites where you just buy a ticket to get in and thats all. The random number being rolled is used to determine the winner. There is nothing in this world that can help you get an edge over other players in such a lottery. What this topic says is basically the gamblers delusion that they can win a big amount of money using some unknown mathematical trick which in reality does not exist.

These thoughts come in to the mind of the addicted gambler when they start to realize that they have been wasting a lot of money in gambling and want to make it back.
Yes you might have a mathematical formula that might give you a good edge to win at gambling but you need a mental calculations by putting in the real gambling data in the formula and coming up with an answer which might be a hint towards winning the game. So you have to have a sharp mind and learn to make your own formula. Lotteries are tough things to win.
2894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: newcryptocasinos.com - Our channel at BitcoinTalk.org on: May 23, 2019, 05:56:06 AM
If you guys don't want to have problem, you should be careful with the casinos you list on your site, and avoid listing casinos that are not legit. I have seen sites that will list scam casinos and mix them up with legit casinos and someone who is a newbie might just end up clicking on the wrong casino sites and then losing their money. So try to post only legit sites so you don't end up misleading people and also losing your followers. Just like one fake casino site I saw on a review site that claims to make fast payments and when I tried them they haven't processed my payment till date. And by the way, the free spins you guys are talking about what are the requirements to get free spins, will have to deposit money first?
2895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: May 22, 2019, 12:52:11 PM
I'll go with to earn money, most of the people I know gamble to earn money, they try there luck in gambling to improve their way of living. It's like thinking that gambling is the only way for them to improve when in fact, not most of them are lucky enough to win in gambling. But I think it still depend on who gambles whether they do it for fun, to earn money or to relieve stress.
I think that earning money is a key reason for gambling. You won't be able to have a fun experiencing too many losses thus you need to win to feel yourself good.

There is no other reason for them to gamble except money. I don't understand people saying that they can just gamble for fun or entertainment. That just means that they are having fun risking their money and doubling it or taking the pot or prize and that obviously means that they want to earn or win money and that also means that they want to have fun and earn money, that is still their reason.
Exactly, many people have claimed that they just gamble because of the entertainment purposes. But their main purpose, as well as intention, is money. Many people think gambling is just game and anyone can make the money with the help of it. And after playing and losing the money in gambling that time these people will realize what is gambling. You can take gambling as fun but for that, you just have to play it once or twice a year. Then you won’t get addicted towards it and may not lose the pretty much amount. So keep yourself away from the gambling otherwise you will not get the chance to keep it way.
2896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: May 22, 2019, 12:30:36 PM
The problem that you have here is that you can't control yourself fr gambling everything you have and there is no one that can help you with this problem other that yourself. You are simply to addicted to gambling to save any money so you gamble everything because you are too greedy to be happy with less. In your case you can't save money while gambling and the best decision is to quit gambling and never come back to it again.
Yes, if it wants to save money then it needs to quit gambling because you can't save money if you are in gambling. Gambling is so addictive and if we are in gambling for a long time then it won't easy to overcome the gambling. So it is not easy to instantly keep away yourself from this thing. In gambling, you can't even think to earn money like a full-time job or you cannot earn passive income with the help if gambling. So it is not helpful for most of us so instead of trying the luck you just need to keep yourself from away from this addition. Quitting is the real solution to save money and build up wealth.
2897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: May 22, 2019, 12:06:53 PM
I know my statement may sound pretty hostile on this part of the board, though I'm not talking about the person who will buy a superbowl box or makes a friendly bet with someone over one big game. I think the degenerates are the people sitting around gambling on every game they can possibly gamble on.

I have friends like this, people that will gamble on Mexican Womens Tennis if they can win (or most likely lose) some money on the game. It's a crushing addicition that we've normalized in our culture to make it seem like it's just apart of life. It shouldn't be, and children at a young age should be stopped from gambling until they know the horrible outcomes that gambling can cause. I support every effort by regulators to stem out the bad actors in the gambling field in order to stop children from being hooked on this.

I'd like one of you to change my mind, or at least make me think different about gambling. Because as of right now, I have a pretty negative view on it.
I just liked where you talked about children who are involved in gambling. To be sincere, it pisses me off when I see children who plays gamble, it's very bad and most of them I know usually ends up as the bad eggs in the society. From gambling they go into other stuffs like arm robbery and stealing. So we really need to stop children from gambling until they are adults and able to make that decisions themselves. Another thing is those people who are so addicted to gambling to they extent they can't control themselves, those people need to stop as well and learn to use their senses.
2898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big Merchants Now Accepting Bitcoin on: May 22, 2019, 11:45:00 AM
I won't surprise if there are more upcoming merchant also accept bitcoin.
They see the crypto market already increase significantly so they won't waste the opportunity to use bitcoin as their alternate transaction.

Time will reveal , how far they will progress actually
Even I would not be that surprised if some more merchants start accepting bitcoins on their platform. Instead once the bull runs arrive I am sure that there will be a lot of peoples who would rush towards bitcoins and start accepting and investing into them. Now, accepting bitcoins on our platform means that we would indirectly invest into bitcoins and a lot of merchants who want to sell their products love selling those for bitcoins as it would give multiple benefits for the merchants. The only thing I care about it the transaction fees. Peoples might just not feel the transaction fees affordable so there needs to be some majors which could be taken.
2899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB time to buy ? on: May 22, 2019, 10:54:26 AM
BNB is s great Coin and has been trending in the market. Now is good time to get the binance Coin and hold because it's price willbe great.
Anything that can give you a value addition is good for you to make money with. BNB was around $8 when Binance reported about the hack and right now, it is well above $28 which means there is huge value addition and which means there could be some good profits if you invest in a some big number of coins and HODL them for few more months for I am sure it will rise above $60 soon.

I see that you have not giving up on doing this and still hoping that you are going to get the attention very soon, well again before that would happen, you will have to correct a lot of things regarding your website because I am not happy with the negative review I keep seeing all of the time in your account, please try to study an ICO project before adding it to your website to avoid this kind of occurrence next time.
