I've said this a lot and I'm going to say it again — if you're going to use a centralized exchange, just go use the big and trusted ones(e.g. Coinbase, Binance, etc). You almost have nothing to gain and everything to lose by trying out new exchanges(even if it's legit).

Remember the proof of keys day? This is one of the main reasons it was created — to potentially expose exchanges that are insolvent. https://www.proofofkeys.com/*snip*
Probably shouldn't overthink this as Binance doing something shady(though I'm not saying it's impossible). The disabling of BTC withdrawals was only like an hour if I remember correctly.

Pretty hard to discuss which is "better" knowing that there are a crap ton of factors to take into consideration when discussing "rich" vs "poor". Arguments from both sides are painted with a broad brush, as if all "rich" people think the same, and that all "poor" people think the same as well. Which obviously is not the case.

The thing with strategies as simple as you've described is that it's highly likely that a lot of people have tried the same strategy but failed. It's simply just so easily broken due to the fact that a single decent sell order can easily liquidate you immediately.
^I wish you the best of luck though.

The fact that getting totally in and out of positions trying to time markets isn't for everyone. It was stressful as heck. Today, I only allocate a certain percentage of my total bankroll for making trades than span months, not days or weeks like how I did back then.

Not the first time I've seen a topic unnecessarily moved to the Altcoin section. Kudos to all the mods for all the good work, but sometimes they seem to be quite hasty even when seeing topics that mildly touches up altcoins. To my knowledge, it is not possible to "yield farm" on bitcoin "proper". I understand it is only possible to "yield farm" using various altcoins, such as ETH (I presume there are others). I also understand that any yield farming involving "bitcoin" is actually a "wrapped" bitcoin that is very similar to an IOU. As a result of the above, discussions related to "yield farming" are not talking about anything that you can do with bitcoin and should be in the altcoin section. Although, there is an argument that certain altcoin subjects belong in the newbie section, although opening up this can of worms similar to what I discussed here. It's mostly concerning altcoins, but let's not forget that we also have "yield farming" through centralized custodians such as Celsius and BlockFi.

1. Chances are slim, but not impossible. You're going to sure damn hope there isn't a security vulnerability that potentially leaked your wallet's recovery phrase. But like people said, just grab a hardware wallet.
2. I'd imagine some do, but it really isn't a smart move.
3. Unlikely because of it being non-custodial, but not impossible due to it being closed-source.

Always have a decent source of income outside of cryptocurrencies. As much as I love Bitcoin(and crypto), we don't really know what kind of black swan event could occur that could mess up this entire industry.
While yes, it's likely for bitcoin to bounce back, but it could always take a lot longer than what people think.

I knew /r/cryptocurrency had issues and I made a post long ago calling out those issues.
But I figured /r/bitcoin would have less issues...
Always expect very heavy moderation with literally almost any subreddit, especially if the subreddit has millions of subscribers/viewers.

/r/bitcoin(same with /r/cryptocurrency) has always been extremely controlled. If you want little to no censorship, you can simply host your own content on your own server. It wouldn't be 100% censorship proof, but the likeliness of your server host taking down your server is very slim.

I still mostly hold USD. While it's not the very best currency in terms of performance since the past year, it's performing not-as-bad compared to most currencies. I'm really not interested in doing any other extra currency analysis.
Also, USD is the most accessible currency for me besides my local currency.

Does stablecoins even have locked staking? If I remember correctly with Binance's locked staking, they're actually staking the coins/tokens on-chain; and USDC/USDT/BUSD definitely doesn't have revenue-sharing on-chain locked staking.

It's going to be inevitable, despite it being total utter nonsense due to the fact that there are much bigger environmentally-deadly industries to regulate.
Always expect attacks from the regulators, and I'm going to bet that this will be next.

I'm not saying that this isn't bullish, but we were literally at like $25,000 a month ago. Probably not a good idea making long term bullishness/bearishness decisions over a $2000 price increase in a single day.
What do I know though, I don't really do TA.

I know those were the devices used but really, look at the situation, they grabbed the mice and keyboards and power cables and put them on a table, I understand the mobile phones and the laptops as proof since obviously there are way too many phones for 4 individuals, but the power cables? Why not grab the chair and table they were sitting on while doing the scam? Why not grab the sockets from the wall and the copper wire which enabled the scam also? My point was only on the stupid show-off, like when you have a murder and you proudly present a knife in the picture, of course, labeled "knife" since not everybody knows how a knife looks. This is just stupid!
Precisely, this was just to say to the public — "look how much stuff we confiscated!". I'm guessing that the typical non-techie person will look past it — since for some people, when you say "computer", they'd think mouse and keyboard. Really though, they should've just locked up the place where their operations are being ran, and added some yellow crime scene tape. That would probably be a more "dominant" display.

You probably better stay away from Telegram groups, unless you know for sure that very reputable people are in it. Fortunately Bitcointalk has a Mining section; feel free to ask away: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=14.0
