Honestly, I am not familiar with the participating teams in this tournament but even so, there are some teams that I sometimes choose in random bets. But still, with the lack of familiarity for the teams in this tournament, it makes me have to check more about which country the team is from. This is the first season which I think will still lack fans, because this tournament is also rarely exposed to the media and to be honest I also only just found out about this tournament with this thread.
That's why it is relevant to create that thread  Since it is the first edition with pretty much new teams for us, we never heard about it and we have no idea how good/miserable they are then it is normal to have suspicion about how relevant this competition will be. In the next years and I would say even at a later stage, they will be much attraction to its games. @snipe indeed this thread will be really helpful when the tournament begins, because I’m sure someone will be updating odds and post their predictions here. Furthermore I believe that Tottenham will have an excellent chance of winning it, and if they don’t win it then maybe they’ll need a new coach again. |

Russell is a Mercedes junior driver anyway, and would be the right decision for the Mercedes factory team to build up a world champion candidate after the Hamilton era. I don't think that Hamilton after his new 2 year contract will continue to drive. Where Bottas could accommodate I have but no idea, many sponsors he will not have in the background for a new team? I still think Russell won’t be Merc’s second driver as long as Hamilton is with the team. He doesn’t want another incident like he was in when he had Rosberg and Alonso as team mates. But if he does partner with Russell then I guess the game plan is: Get that driver’s championship one last time, breaking Schumacher’s record then it’s the ‘passing of the torch’ to Russell. I’m kinda hoping to see him go back to McLaren.. Where it all started. @tokeweed considering Hamilton winning attitude I too would agree that he wouldn’t like being challenged from within, but if you see from Mercedes point of view then they need to groom Russell too, and who better than Hamilton to guide him. I can hardly believe it, but Federer was now clearly defeated in 3 sets (The last set is very suspect, injury?) But my personal opinion, he can now end his fantastic career. No one would have believed him to be capable of the performances in Paris and Wimbledon at this age.
I don't think so Federer injury, Hurkacz played really well and Federer made a lot of errors which made Hurkacz more confident especially in the second set when he fell behind Federer (1-4 if I'm not mistaken) but managed to turn things around, can't believe in his own area Federer even couldn't get one game in the third set. Tamim Iqbal should have been included in the squad as the opener. BCB has added two inexperienced openers to the squad who have not played very well in international matches so far. Moreover, Shakib has not been able to bat well for a long time. However, I am happy that Bangladesh did not lose all the wickets on the first day. I would be happy if they could play 15 overs tomorrow.
The selectors went for Shadman Islam and Saif Hassan as the openers. I don't know why Tamim was not selected. There was only one warmup match and he didn't got much of an opportunity to bat. But I heard that he performed well during the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (for Prime Bank). Perhaps the board wanted to give opportunity for some youngsters and may have made the decision thinking that Zimbabwe is going to be a relatively weak opponent. BTW, when was the last test victory for Zimbabwe against a full member? That was in 2018? @Swordsoffreedom indeed a puzzling omission from the Bangladesh selectors, and if Bangladesh end up losing this game then they’ll be forced to justify why they omitted him. I recognize most of the teams, betting-wise it's a guessing game though. Better to skip a few of these early rounds, these low-tier teams can vary by a huge amount from season to season.
Dinamo is expected to progress easily against Valur, the game is just before the Euro semi so I'll watch a bit to see how the team is set up for this season. On paper they look good, not much changes compared to last year.

Yes, i just heard this news yesterday and you can say its both good and bad news for the Pakistan. Good in the sense that they will be playing with a relatively low strength team which makes their chances of winning bright but at the same time if Pakistan still lose the series, then people will more blame them as they are unable to win from B England team.
Pakistan is not in a very bad situation, at least when compared to Sri Lanka. So I expect them to put up a credible performance. Unlike the case with Sri Lanka, they still have a number of world class players, such as Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali. Anyway, the first ODI match is scheduled for tomorrow and this series is very important for Pakistan (because it is a part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League). England is at the top currently, and they don't need to worry. Pakistan has 40 points from 6 matches till now, and another 10-20 points in this series would be good as far as they are concerned. @bryant.coleman you’re correct as Pakistan definitely has some match winners, and if they all fire then England may find them difficult to beat. However at the same time I wouldn’t underestimate England B team too, because this series gives the fringe player’s a chance to claim a spot in the playing 11 hence they may just be able to stun Pakistan, therefore we will have to closely observe how the match goes before wagering on it. |

Although Spain is failed to reach the Final, but I can say that their performance against Italy is their best performance in this tournament. I did not expect that they can play that well till the extra time. I predicted that Italy will win the game in normal time but I was wrong, perhaps I was underestimating the young squad of Spain. Too bad, the one who scored in normal time (Morata) was failed to do his task well in penalty shoot out. Both team deserves to be in Final but of course only one to go further. Thumbs up for both teams.
Once again, those who made a bet in favor of the draw after regulation time got rewarded. Good performance from both Spain and Italy. But the irony is that the fans from these countries were unable to attend the semi-finals, due to travel restrictions. Anyway, in all probability, we can expect that the final will be between England and Italy. If Italy manages to win the trophy, then it will be a big achievement for the Italian coach (Roberto Mancini). Before the start of the tournament, he was severely criticized for lack of bonding with some of the team members. @Sithara007 I don’t want to be Morata right now because he just went from a hero to being a zero, and this is something he’ll not forget easily. Germany and Spain have best record for winning European Championship 3 times and Germany participated 6 times in finals so I hoped this will be the case again, but history doesn't always repeat.
Italy played 3 times in final and they won Euro one time so this will be great match to watch Italy vs Spain, but very hard to predict betting result.
I’m going to say it’ll be an Italy vs England final. The Spain team really isn’t that good, it’s a far cry from the legendary Spain teams of the 2010’s. Denmark will put up a fight but won’t be good enough. I’ll be very surprised if the final isn’t Italy vs England. I'll be bolder and predict an English win in the finals as they haven't conceded a single goal in the whole tournament. I need a clarification here... so some guy has some balance at Stake. And that balance mysteriously disappears one morning!!! After that, that guy complains and asks for a refund?! Well, this is something new from scammers!  You seem to have misunderstood the issue here. The gambler's balance didn't just magically disappear. Stake froze his account and siezed his funds due to which he created a scam accusation thread against them. The Stake team is currently investigating the issue. We are talking about 200 grand here which is why this will probably take time to get completely resolved. We don't know the whole story yet but Stunna already replied on that player's thread and they are investigating his case. If the player is confident that he did not violate any of the terms and conditions of stake, for sure, he will get his money back. Hello guys, this time I won the bet with respect to Italy, it was an excellent game where I had this profit but unfortunately one of the favorite players of the selection came out due to injury Leonardo Spinazzola, he will lose everything that remains of the EURO.
However Italy is becoming one of the favorite teams to win the championship, I think England will win today, they have a good team and possibly I will focus on that aspect. I could not make the bet with CZE vs DEN, but the whole Euro is very exciting, this weekend is clearly full of pure Football.

Great win for England with decent odds, and that is something I expected against Ukraine, but now comes the next test against Denmark and I believe they will win again.

Real Madrid movement in the transfer market this season is really quite slow compared to Barcelona who have managed to sign several players so far, I think that currently Real Madrid do not yet have a target player who will later fill the position vacated by Ramos, But according to the news if Real Madrid plan to sell some of their players first before bringing in new players, the players currently in the Real Madrid sell list are Brahim Diaz, Dani Ceballos and Luka Jovic, and the proceeds from the sale of these players are expected to be able to make up for Madrid lack of funds to bring in new players for central defender, attacking midfielder and striker.

I do agree with all you guys said but that brings a bad football to the table, at least for me. I am not German so I am not fan of any specific team but when a team is champions for 100 years in a row that is just boring, we have seen Juventus streak ending this year, PSG streak ending as well, and I want to see Bayern streak ending as well. They can become champions right afterwards, 3-5 times a row again, but let us watch one season where Bayern becomes second or worse so that we can see another team becoming champions.
The championship streak of Bayern will be broken. Lyon, Juventus, PSG witnessed it and Bayern will not be able to win in all seasons. However the general things in Bundesliga are different than in Serie A, Lique I or Premier League. Bayern are too strong with their players and they have too dominant balance sheet that help them to buy any best player in Germany if they are interested in. It does not happen in Premier League or Serie A when there are a few clubs in the championship competition. You can compare Bundesliga with Lique I because they are dominated by only one team, Bayern in Bundesliga and PSG in Lique I. PSG lost the championship in last season but they will claim it back in a new season. Bayern Munich is always on the top level,other teams such as Dortmund or Leipzig dont take their chances when Bayern goes into a bad form and that always happen once in the season. Lille took that chance and won the league because PSG was more on champions league they wanted that trophy and made a few mistakes that costed them . Will Bayern makes a few mistakes but no one takes that and thats why they win every season This is what Leipzig has done well this season. Bayern Munich is a good team. But if they can’t form a good squad next season, they won’t be able to fight Leipzig and Dortmund. The Leipzig team is much more stable. Leipzig will win the title if Bayern do not play well. @Maidak you’ll are forgetting one very important point, that Bayern steals their local competitors player’s season after season and thus they make their competitors weaker. Furthermore no where in other leagues do local clubs sell to their biggest competitor (year after year), and till the clubs in Bundesliga continue to do business with them there’s no way they’ll be able to end Bayern dominance over winning the title. |
