Very good game from both teams, the last situation with the foul in the penalty area was very delicate and difficult to assess but I think it was also not an 11m. I can hardly believe it, but Federer was now clearly defeated in 3 sets (The last set is very suspect, injury?) But my personal opinion, he can now end his fantastic career. No one would have believed him to be capable of the performances in Paris and Wimbledon at this age. So probably also the 3rd GrandSlam tournament 2021 Djokovic will win.

What intrigues me is the Shapolavov against Kachanov. Karen is a huge underdog here, but I will definitely go with him in a parlay with Djokovic and Berrettini. Although the Berrettini vs Auger-Aliassime might go either way, I think Matteo might pull through in a 5 set match.
That Federer will not play against Medvedev but against Hurkacz is a big surprise for me, maybe Federer has more chances against Hurkacz than against Medvedev. An advantage is certainly that he has one day more regeneration. Should Federer win, his next opponent in the semifinals would be Berrettini? Probably. |

Why the Grand Prix in Australia was cancelled I personally don't understand, in Australia they have very low corona numbers, in F1 there is a lot of testing or probably most are vaccinated. You open a barrel where there is none to open. Once wait and see if more races are canceled.
Yes, number of cases in Australia is very low, but their regulations is very strict. Everyone who arrive to Australia must spend 14 days in quarantine and they don't make excptions. Now almost all questionable rounds already been cancelled - Australia, China, Singapore, Canada. Probably only Brazil is remaining and I think it's unlikel that this year we will have race there. It is correct that they have one of the strictest coroana rules (like New Zealand), but especially on an island it is a bit easier than in Europe. But it is so even if I do not really understand why Australia still has such strict rules for their own citizens. I also assume that the Grand Prix in the USA is still canceled and the Australian Grand Prix would have been in November, there will be no replacement in Europe. |

Very nice game yesterday for us spectators, the Tiki-Taka tactics has fortunately not prevailed, otherwise we would see in the final to the 16er 80% ball possession.
Penalty shootout is always a big gamble but I think Italy deserved to win, the decisive penalty was held and then converted by the player.

The good thing about Federer advancing to the quarter finals is that he now gains a good bit of confidence. Not only did he get there, but he made it there in 3 - 0 game. I think now in the quarter finals he has a very good chance to also beat Medvedev (if he makes it to the quarters) or the other guy as well. When would he face Novak Djokovic? Semifinals or final?
Federer will probably face Medvedev in the quarterfinals, I assume that Medvedev will win his supplementary match today. Due to the longer recovery time, Federer will certainly have a small advantage, which he needs given his age and lack of match practice. Is it true what I read, if Medvedev wins Wimbledon he would be #1 in the ATP list, will that work out? |

What a surprise, Alexander Zverev has been eliminated. Federer plays his match confidently in 3 sets it seems. Medvedev's match is interrupted but it is not an easy match for him and he still has to make an effort. Djokovic also won his match confidently in 3 sets.

Yes it's so sorry, the summer break is very long. But two good things, i can look live  after the break at Austria the MotoGP grand Prix and Rossi will told his future. Yes, I heard that Rossi would give his decision after this break. I don't know where Rosi is at the moment, but if you look at his performances I think he will retire soon. If he wants to spend the rest of the season then I think it's normal. But if he still wants to race next season I don't think it's a good solution. What is your opinion? It's very hard to say, the bike is not working as well as Rossi would like at the moment. The Yamaha works continuously only with Fabio, with everyone else it is not optimal. Was die Webseite mit "expected" meint kann ich nur vermuten (ggf. Blöcke die schon erstellt / gefunden hätte müssen und da dies nicht passiert ist, also die Blocktime zu groß ist, wird es wieder eine negative Diff Anpassung geben.
Jetzt schauen wir mal wie viele mitmachen und auch noch vom englischen Bereich dazustoßen und dann planen wir konkret wann und wie.

Also wären das bei aktuellen Stand 6 PH/s für 24h (grob gerechnet), der Mempool ist derzeit ja mehr als leer, werde auch gleich einmal Heute spätestens Morgen meine Coins senden (billiger wird es nicht mehr ). Also von mir aus können wir sobald wir 10 PH/s für 24h haben starten Diff unabhängig  nochmal ~ 10% wären wir bei 13t ob das noch einmal so einen großen Unterschied ausmacht (wäre Anfang 2020)? As everyone expected, too easy for Verstappen. There is no-one to challenge him, unless Mercedes can come up with some big improvements to their car very quickly... but they've said they're focusing on next year's car, which suggests that this year's title race may be as good as over already. But let's see, it's a different track next time out, and maybe Mercedes can come up with something.
If Mercedes is focusing on next year car this means that now they are not fighting seriously during this year.Right now the 32 points advantage is really big,I confused with 26 points but I forgot that Lewis dropped from 2nd to 4th. I think the fact that Mercedes signed early the contract to Lewis means they still will focus for this year season and we all need that. It was recently mentioned that no more updates should come, but has already been revoked. I not think that Mercedes will give up the title without a fight and will also bring one or the other update, Mercedes is not used for years that they do not have the best and fastest car. It's a boring weekend this month without the MotoGp series. The gap is far enough. Almost 1 month more. The next series is at the Red Bull Ring on August 8th. I think in the semifinals Italy will win in injury time or in a penalty shootout. With England I'm still a little unsure, except against Ukraine they have not really shown much in my opinion, Denmark will be difficult and I have also bet on a bet on victory Denmark, let's see. Good to hear the Federer has won again, it seems that he is getting back to his form. It was a tough battle against Norrie. Sonego is next, but he is more of a clay court player, so I guess Federer has some advantage of him.
Medvedev has to be stretch by Cilic in a 5 setter, it's a good comeback from Medvedev as he is down 2 sets but he recovers himself and won the next 3.
I guess Federer is always a nostalgic choice for many of us here. I was watching an ad for Wimbledon and they were showing a lot of Federer moments and,,, it just makes me realize how old he looks now after all those times spent in taking care of injuries. It would be awesome if somehow he makes it to the final to face Djokovic,,, still 12/1 odds on him! So Federer is always good for a surprise at Wimbledon, just like Nadal in Paris, but could he hold his own in a 5 set match against Djokovic? I almost don't think so, everything would have to work well for Federer and not for Djokovic. But Federer and Djokovic can only meet in the final anyway. |

Perez what a dumbass making the same move 2 times for 2 penalties versus Leclerc.
Good race for Norris too and Russell, these 2 kids will have a bright future.
Easy start - finish victory for Verstappen. The pit stop at Verstappen was in retrospect quite good the rear tire had a slot / damage. Unfortunately Russell did not score again, but he gets the best out of the car, hopefully Russell drives next year in a better car. |

The results of today are very difficult to assess for me, many teams have tested the new tire for Silverstone and have tested on the new red (C5) long runs. Tomorrow the weather should be better and sunnier and it should come only on Sunday the rain. The weather will definitely make it more exciting than last weekend. Maybe there are other tire strategies on Sunday?

...//...: I am glad that Murray won the second round, but the third round will be his end station. Shapovalov, the nr 10 seed, should win this and will probably do it in 3 sets. This afternoon Federer will play his second round against Gasquet, I hope Federer will win but he needs to step up his game. In his first round against Mannarino, he made a lot of unforced errors. Old Andy (34)  is still a young man compared to Federer (39), it's actually nice to see this kind of comeback or attempt. Less and less favorite but always with one acceptable odds for a second round +/- 1.29 Federer is in my parley today. Federer won his match clearly in 3 sets after a long first set. Djokovic is definitely the favorite in the tournament after the many cancellations and the early departure of Tsitsipas. Federer will win one or the other match in Wimbledon anymore but I can't imagine Federer winning against Djokovic. The next challenger for the Wimbledon title is probably Zverev. |

Are we writing off Switzerland against Spain? I personally feel that Spain haven't been impressive at all in this competition. While Switzerland might be performing above expectations right now, I believe they have some quality players, that can turn the tables against Spain.
Not completely writing off. I thought Spain's resolve after conceding two late goals was impressive.Their "growth" in this tournament is what I am counting on. There is no doubt that Switzerland have some quality players too and they know how to fight back. I just don't think they can repeat their performance against France. Spain certainly improved during the group phase... but they so nearly threw away their chance in the last 16. That first knockout round had some weird matches and weird results, but no team really looks invincible at the moment. So I'd definitely agree that whilst Spain should be favourites, we certainly can't say that Switzerland have no chance. Switzerland will definitely be playing tight against Spain for the mission to make history more than qualifying for the last 16 of the Euros and it will be a very interesting game to watch. I must admit throughout the match, the Swiss game continued to improve, especially in a very disciplined defense and also managed to beat the great team of France, the 2018 world champions. And during the Euros I didn't see Spain playing well and even boring and I can't wait to watch a game which is certainly very interesting. With a very good game, I think Switzerland has a good chance to win against Spain. A draw is in any case after 90 minutes inside for Switzerland, in the offensive the Spanish were not really strong and compelling. In Italy against Belgium, I see the game pretty even, but I think the Italians will get win on the end oft the day 😎 |
