Because your cost calculations weighted with equipment costs and wattage results in a better earning and shorter ROI on 7950s

I'd like some numbers on that better kh/J claim. Shorter ROI doesn't mean shit if you're planning to mine in the long run.
Enjoy spending an extra $100 per GPU and extra money for electricity costs to get almost no increase in hash rate (if you can even get 700Kh/s, that is).

I'll mine with my 4 GPUs doing 700Kh/s each while you mine with your equally expensive 3 GPUs doing 750Kh/s each.
And what are these settings for getting 700kh/s from an 7950? And what 7950 model?
That information has been available for a long time now. I've been talking about it for nearly two months in #litecoin and it's been posted on the Litecoin forums for a few weeks.
repost them plz

are you blind/ just follow the link
i can't find them(not the link, but the thread about the settings)

25m?

28904  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: What would you pay for ASIC? (BTC per megahash) on: May 13, 2013, 09:54:24 AM
$300 every 5gh for me

including shipping

the goal is to make roi in 1 month at max
28905  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: May 13, 2013, 08:06:03 AM
I guess i'm still pretty new at this but I'm not really sure you can trust any of the ALT coins. BTC, LTC and PPC seem to be the only 3 worth putting hardware into.
The only one which have real potential is BTC.
LTC is something like sub-economy for btc, but very small and no real potential to grow. Maybe it works fine just as it is. Anyway, wasted time.
BTC haven't any real potential, they are already established
LTC are the one with potential
28906  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: So once people get their hands on ASICs, is mining on GPUs dead? on: May 13, 2013, 07:56:50 AM
my suggestion is to mine until the end of may, then switch to litecoin while you wait to buy one of the asic thing that will come in july

my 0.02btc

28912  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: OPEN: [Group Buy] ASICMiner Block Erupter USB in USA. 2.03496 each @ 5 units on: May 12, 2013, 09:16:54 PM
a 7970 mining + reselling pay for itself in 2 months(you even make profit lol), much faster than anything else, right now

the math

buy at 400, mine for two months=220(minus 120 bills), sell at =350
total=450
28913  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Group Manufacturing of Lancelot Heavy Duty 385Mhs Mining Board on: May 12, 2013, 09:04:31 PM
$269 is tooo expensive, even half of that is still expensive

Please have a look here: http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?x=0&y=0&lang=en&site=us&KeyWords=XC6SLX150-2FGG484C

We need 2 of these IC to manufacture one Lancelot.

this mean that fpga are bad, and should not be used for mining
28914  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Re: Bitcoin con CPU on: May 12, 2013, 07:19:19 PM

28915  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury ASIC? on: May 12, 2013, 07:07:31 PM
another shit with 4+ months roi
120 Gh/s for $2160
You must be kidding about ROI.

wut? i'm talking about 110 for 90000

another shit with 4+ months roi
We've been dealing with 6-12 months ROI since I started BTC mining in 2011. Where else are you gonna get a 4 month ROI?! In the real world, that's pretty damn good.
4 months roi was good back than, but now shitstorm of terahash are coming at the end of summer, so 4 months is not good anymore imho
28916  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 7950s best khash screenshotssss on: May 12, 2013, 06:26:11 PM
