Sure, if people repeatedly lie that coin called bitcoin exists then I must repeatedly address their lies. I don't care about their nonsensical analogies with DNS or evolution. The people here are lying and spreading misinformation. That's the point. Hiding behind stupid analogies won't make that lies go away.
A coin, a token, or money in the form of a record is basically a record of liability. Liability of the issuer of the record to redeem it. So, if that guy Satoshi claims that the numbers that his system is writing down are coins than he is actually claiming that someone has the liability to redeem them. Like banks redeem their records via loan repayments, like casinos redeem their records (tokens), like retailers redeem their gift cards, or corporations their bonds. But no entity exists that has the liability to redeem the record next to addresses in Satoshi's system. That's why the records that his system writes down are not coins. They're not bitcoins. They are fake numbers. Any idiot can print numbers, and then claim they are coins, without having any liability to redeem them. That's called a fraud and not a payment system.
No, you are wrong! Analogies with DNS or evolution are not nonsensical because you claim that Bitcoin doesn't exist because you can't touch it or feel it. You can't touch or feel DNS or evolution and yet they exist. How are those analogies nonsensical if they confirm that a thing can exist even if you can't touch it or feel it?

One of the biggest problems when investing in a bear run is selecting which project to invest into because a lot of them won't survive a bear market. Investing in a bull market is pretty easy because in bull everything goes up. However, when the market is bearish, investing in the wrong project can make you lose all your investment.

Just a little suggestion... Please put links in your post so that users who want to try those services don't have to search for them. As we know, Google search results are filled with scam sites that will steal your crypto in seconds if you visit the wrong site and press the wrong Approve.

I read the whole discussion since yesterday and all I see that you repeat the same thing all the time - Bitcoin doesn't exist because no one can show it to you. And when someone asks you about other things that do exist (communication protocols or evolution), you ignore the question or just say that you now nothing about that. Just let it go man... All of us here are delusional idiots who believe Bitcoin is something valuable and you are the only one smart enough to see that it's worthless. Is your life mission to save us all from our delusion?

Hahah, istina.

Dakle, Crypto.com jako puno novaca ulaže u marketing.

An italian podcaster spent more than one month in El Salvador spending only bitcoin: no usd, no credit cards, only bitcoin, both onchain and LN. He said that the average people in El Salvador know very little about bitcoin, so I guess this astonishing level of popularity is due to other reasons than our mutual orange friend.
Some of the information on the internet and social media does not match the reality. If the people of El Salvador knew little about bitcoin, the adoption would not be complete. A few months ago when EL Salvador started adopting bitcoin there were a lot of pros and cons, there was a lot of controversy that led to a demo. However, Nayib stuck to the decision to use bitcoin and continued to develop it until he founded a bitcoin mining company using volcanic mountain energy and is currently going to develop Bitcoin City. The problem with people of El Salvador adopting Bitcoin is that for one to do it, he/she needs to be tech savvy. You can't use Bitcoin if you at least never used a mobile phone. I'm not saying that no one in El Salvador doesn't use a mobile phone and I'm sure that in big cities that number is pretty big. But people in rural areas have probably heard about Bitcoin but haven't used it. According to this report (I don't know how trust worthy it is), only half of El Salvador's population uses Internet.

Is the exact number of people that use crypto even important? I think we all can agree with the fact that that number increased significantly in the last two years. I don't know if the pandemic is the reason but it doesn't matter in the end. What matters is that more and more people use crypto and that's what we all want in the end.

So, how much do you pay for using DNS protocols? And how much do you pay for attaching the number "10" to your crypto address in Satoshi's system? Do you now understand the true meaning of the phrase: "Your level of your ignorance is astounding."?
Oh, now it's not the matter of existence, is it? You told me that Bitcoin doesn't exist because you can't show it to someone. We told you that communication protocols like DNS also can't be shown to someone but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Using of DNS protocol is free. But guess what - using of Bitcoin is also free. You have to pay if you want to own Bitcoin, but you don't have to pay to use it.

Internet is computers and communication protocols. Those exist. Bitcoin is not "used" given it doesn't exist. Numbers are attached to address by Satoshi's system. Attaching numbers is a proof that numbers are attached. Attaching letters is proof that letters are attached. Attaching a picture to a email message is proof that a picture is attached. No bitcoins magically emerge by attaching one thing to another. You believe in some sort of alchemy. Try to use your brains for a second instead of repeating the same nonsense over and over again.
Your level of your ignorance is astounding.
The Internet exists. Okay, I agree. But does the DNS protocol exist? It is also just a collection of numbers attached to addresses by your definition. Denying the use of Bitcoin is the same as denying the use of DNS. Could you please show me the DNS? No? You can't see it, hear it, or touch it, yet it exists and billions of people use it every day. I think he will never admit that he is wrong about the fact that Bitcoin does not exist. He says that Internet is computers and communication protocols. OK, you can see and touch computers. But can you see and touch a communication protocol (like DNS in this example)? If you can't touch it, I guess it doesn't exist so I don't really know how does my computer know what web site to display when I enter bitcointalk.org into the address bar.

Internet is used by nodes to store fake numbers. Without the internet there wouldn't be bitcoin fraud.
I didn't ask you to tell me what is Internet compared to Bitcoin. I asked you to tell me how can you prove that Internet exists? If you can accept the fact that Internet is used for two computers to communicate, then Bitcoin's proof of existence is the fact that it is used to trade.

I'd expand this thought to include coins that are going to be lost (irretrievable) by the time we get to mine the last coin about more than 100 years from now.
If you think about it, we are 12 years into the process and nearing 19m mined bitcoins and in this short time we've managed to lose between 2.8 and 3.8 million coins. This means that if the lower number is correct, people were losing BTC250k a year! At that speed we'd need 40 years to lose half of the total supply of bitcoin, making it impossible to even have a circulating supply in 100 years, when the last coins are to be mined.
I don't expect bitcoin to survive 100 years in its current form, but something will have to be done along the way to make sure it doesn't self destruct.
You can't compare losing your Bitcoin wallet now and 10 years ago. Now if you have 1 BTC in your wallet, you will surely remember that you have it. But 10 years ago I'm sure people were deleting wallets with hundreds and thousands of Bitcoin in it just because they weren't worth anything at that time.

This is literally crazy. How do you know that bitcoin is "a thing" and that it is "new" if you're unable to prove its existence? Where're 5 things that the person bought after number 5 was attached to their address? What is that mega expensive product that the person paid $40.000 a piece? All you do is repeating "Bitcoin is this", Bitcoin is that" like a broken record, without proving anything.
You didn't answer me how is Internet different than Bitcoin? How can you prove existence of the Internet? And don't say that we are talking about Bitcoin and not Internet. I want to hear from you how do you prove that Internet is a thing. Maybe that will give me an idea how to prove that Bitcoin is a thing.

Commodity is something that exists. Be it digital or not. Digital things are existing things. Books, documents, sounds, pictures...are digital. Applications are digital. Non of them can you touch. But they exist. Saying bitcoin is a digital commodity is as nonsensical as saying Zeus is a digital commodity. You can say whatever you want for a thing whose existence you are not able to prove. You can write down in a database that you own 5 shares in Zeus. If you are not able to show Zeus, that what you've written down is nonsense. That's what Satoshi's software is doing. Writing down nonsense. Fake numbers. Quantities of a thing that no one is able to show. You can as well say that bitcoin is an ice cream. Or a car. Or a diamond. It's all equally stupid as saying that bitcoin is a digital commodity.
It's pointless to argue with you when you don't want to accept the premise that Bitcoin is a completely new thing and that you can't compare it to anything. Is Internet real? Internet doesn't cost anything and it can't be bought, but you must agree that it's a real thing and yet, you can't prove it's existence. People who still have a hard time wrapping around their brains around the fact that bitcoin is a commodity are people that still thinks that they have to touch everything physically because they still can't believe that the digital age has been here for a long time and they still stick to the old values that might or might not be applicable anymore. Also, stocks are somewhat a digital commodity so I don't get why they can't believe bitcoin is one when bitcoin isn't even the first one.
True, but stocks are a representation of something. Bitcoin is not a representation of something. It's Bitcoin.

You're repeating nonsense that I already debunked. Gold is a thing that exists. Bitcoin doesn't. Saying or writing down that you own 5 ounces of gold, means you're able to show an actual metal in your possession. Otherwise you're lying. Whan you say that you own 5 bitcoins, or this is written down in your wallet, but you're not able to show a digital product in the quantity of 5, them means you're lying and that the wallet has fake numbers.
Now you are repeating nonsense... Bitcoin is a digital commodity and digital commodities doesn't exist in a physical world. I guess you have a problem understanding that not everything has to be physical in order for it to be real. Here is a definition of a new type of commodity - crypto commodity. But I'm sure you will say one more time that it's not a real commodity because you can't touch it.

You are not storing or moving value, but numbers. A number is a concept on quantity of things. A thing is value, not a number. If there's a number "10", next to your name or address, this is suggesting that there are 10 pieces of a thing in your possession. But if the thing is not in your possession, the number is fake. And that's exactly the case with bitcoin. There's no such thing as bitcoin in the possession of an address holder which has a specific number attached to their address. So, blockchain is just a giant collection of fake numbers. And bitcoin cannot be value by definition, given it doesn't exist.
I will put it in your words: You talk nonsense and stupidity.
When transferring Bitcoin, people are not transferring numbers but bitcoins. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Bitcoin doesn't represent anything just like gold doesn't represent anything - they both have value for what they are - Bitcoin and gold. That is the thing you must learn to understand - Bitcoin doesn't represent anything and it's value doesn't come from it representing some other asset. It's value comes from it being Bitcoin! Just like value of gold bar comes from it being a gold bar. Just like value of water comes from it being water.
