At such moments, I bite my elbows that before the match I did not place a parallel hedge bet on the total corners. But nevertheless it was a lovely sight ... The Swedes were in no way inferior to the Spaniards, neither in the corners nor in goals, that is what a completely filled fans' stadium means. Cry

2905  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The steps and legality of opening a crypto casino on: September 02, 2021, 07:52:37 PM
To open a casino that accepts cryptocurrency as the main means of payment, you need all the same components as when opening a fiat casino.

  • Modest market research
  • License
  • Software, Games & Debugged payment system
  • Marketing

Start your study with those bookmakers that are presented here on the forum, analyze what audience most of them are targeting. Study the paying capacity and gaming preferences of the audience and decide which model is right for you and suits your capabilities and resources. Likewise, the situation is with the license ... on the website of each bookmaker's office that comes into your field of vision, information about the license is published. The better the license, the more secure the players feel when betting. I don't know much about software, but from my own experience I can say that it's much more pleasant to deal with powerful and fast soft, so it's better not to save money here.

With games, I think everything is also clear, after analyzing the audience, you can easily determine the type of preferred games, etc. I also think everything is clear with payment systems, since there are quite a few well-known brands that can satisfy your needs, (if the budget allows you, think about how to cover all the commission costs of clients, as in the long term it will pay off). I will not touch on the topic of marketing for now, as this is a rather extensive topic of conversation, but feel free to ask anyway.  Wink

philipma1957, maybe you should think about how to organize a kind of pool, say for a year or six months, in which 10-15 people will be accepted? Since reading your last message, I regretted that I had missed the opportunity only because I was not attentive enough and missed your July message about XEC. Let's say a pool with an entry fee of 0.01 BTC, the amount of which you will dispose of at your own discretion, investing in those altcoins that you think will soon make themselves felt. What do you think Huh

Right now he probably has more important things to think about / Hope your safe and dry Phil!
Well, as if I did not insist, this is just an unobtrusive proposal  Wink

Hell, almost all my express bets were based on the total number of corners in the match with Turkey ... although this is not so important as I could not imagine that France, Ukraine, Croatia, all will play in a draw, so today I also have no choice but to root for Romania, [I wanted to show my ticket, but for some reason the direct link is not copied].

+ Europe was given almost half of the seats in the final, so I don't think there is still any discrimination now, after all, the disaffected countries should have started playing football 100 years earlier. I'm more worried about the lack of beer during and after matches, since alcohol is prohibited by law in Qatar, (this is the real problem).

Are you a fan of tautology? I still don't quite understand why people read previous posts, paraphrase and publish the same. Btw, "Dynamo" Kiev, got into one of the toughest groups, while "Shakhtar" Donetsk was more fortunate because in their group they have no one to fear (Lukaku moved to Chelsea and Real is not the same as it was before). And then .... Messi against Guardiola, Villarreal again against Manchester United (and again the game will end in a draw) in general, we will have an exciting marathon. Shocked

Well, I did not say that one of the coins or several could at least hypothetically approach the capitalization of bitcoin, but nevertheless, all this garbage one way or another at the moment has liquidity. I totally agree with your opinion about "fictional and fully controlled coins" and will continue to consider 99% of these coins to be real fiction. But the problem is also in the mistaken mentality, since "opinion leaders" mistakenly compare cryptoassets with stocks, as a consequence of the cryptomarket from the very beginning inherited several primitive abstract ingrained concepts.

[...]
Sorry, this is my fault, apparently I am not clearly expressing myself [but it seemed to me that I expressed myself quite unambiguously] ... I meant the percentage dominance of bitcoin to the total capitalization of the entire cryptocurrency market (at a price of $ 50k [Now the price is $ 50,000 / Total Cap 2.2T / 42% dominance] and at a price of $100k per bitcoin [etc.]).
2911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Summer dip?!, December price outcome? ---> JOIN and guess the price GO! on: September 02, 2021, 02:03:27 PM
Well, I did not mean an instant collapse from the 50,000 mark, and I am not inclined to think that at this stage the altcoin market could collapse while Bitcoin continues to rise. A parallel decline, and further mono-growth of Bitcoin (leaving the alt market at the bottom) is the only logical outcome in which Bitcoin can regain 60% dominance and at the same time the capitalization of the entire market will look more or less reasonable.

The total capitalization of the entire crypto market is just slightly above $2 trillion, look into it very well and correct me if wrong. Yes, bitcoin only need to get to $2 trillion marketcap to achieve a price slightly above $100000 with the present circulatory supply of 18.8 billion. And we can remember vividly when the marketcap was below $150 million last year IIRC.
Speaking of 4 trillion capitalization, I just drew a parallel with the current capitalization with the estimated price of bitcoin. Otherwise, how much can the total market capitalization be if the bitcoin price reaches $ 100,000? (although I probably even underestimated the estimated figure if the price reaches $ 100,000).
2912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Debunking the "Bitcoin is an environmental disaster" argument. on: September 02, 2021, 01:21:09 PM
+ I want to add that I indicated that this is a utopian project, since it is necessary to invest tens of billions of dollars in infrastructure. Due to the fact that within a radius of several hundred kilometers there are no cities or power grids through which this electricity could be transmitted. It is for this reason that I said that it is advisable to install a mining giga-farm locally. And by the way, power generation happens 24 hours a day ... which is perfect for mining.

No, it doesn't, and the numbers themselves should have told you so if with 100GW powerplant you're expecting only 200Thw instead of the 870 Thw such a capacity would produce by running 24/7 it means you have a 22% capacity factor which is in line with the only other major tidal projects like Shia and Racen which both are under 28%.

Besides, it's normal, where do you think all that water that is pushed by the tides goes? It must come back at one point and there are phases of the build-up in both directions, nowhere on this planet, there is a continuous tide with the same amplitude.
I suppose my knowledge in this matter is not very different from yours, so I will allow myself to argue with you ... As I already said, Penzhinskaya Lip is the only place on our planet where gravitational forces change the water level twice a day with the strongest amplitude (although, depending on the orbit of the Moon, there will still be energy loss not exceeding 25%, but this is compensated by a very high current speed). And precisely due to the fact that in this bay, there is a very large difference between the highest and lowest point, ebb and flow currents can be used for the constant generation of electricity, the question is only reduced to the presence of two alternately operating systems [1].
Quote
When the water level in the tank is higher than the sea level, the water flows through the outlet sluice; the inlet sluice is closed at this time. When the water level in the tank is lower than the sea level, the water flows through the inlet sluice; the outlet sluice is closed at this time. Thus, the reservoir and the sea create "tidal waves" of equal strength, with a time lag. This is the most efficient and economically viable way to continuously generate energy with the help of a tidal hydroelectric power station and it is based on the operation of two or more alternately operating systems with independent reservoirs.

Well, I would agree with you if our forum was not intended to discuss bitcoin and related topics. But when you look into the history of messages of such a newbie, then for a moment you forget what kind of forum you are on, since almost all of his messages about merit, statistics and social injustice to newcomers (not to mention the fact that such conversations begin with the first message). Yes, a couple of his thoughts may seem reasonable to you and me, but I suggest not to forget the reason why we are all here. Please note that I am not throwing a "stone in your garden" as I really appreciate your contribution to the mining section and much more, I just added my 2 cents. Roll Eyes

Something from you has not been news for a long time ... do not forget that you are not alone here, so I am waiting for what you will please us again.

Edited: Thanks for the PM ... I meant that I subscribed to this thread, at least because I paid attention to your rating and to the fact that in another thread you assured that you are sharing information as a disinterested party. Therefore, I began to be a little impressed by this thread, in connection with which I bump it, (saying that there have been no updates for a long time).

166 to 180 still looking ripe, doesn't it? I know we still look like having trouble even testing 50k but I honestly no longer see my 100k odd prediction as safe any longer.
As I said, I see positive aspects both in the growth and decline of BTC, but I am still quite skeptical of the market as a whole due to the fact that bitcoin dominates by only 42%. In this regard, it is hard for me to believe that we will surpass the $ 4 trillion mark in total capitalization, unless Bitcoin shakes up the Altcoin market, (with the current dominance of BTC, the 4 trillion capitalization of the entire market is equivalent to the price of $ 100,000 for 1 bitcoin).

I mean, all these shitty coins with billions of dollars capitalizations are like weeds and parasites, which sooner or later will provoke a mega collapse, and I believe that the situation will be worse than it was in the desk last year. All this zero value shit will pull Bitcoin towards the $ 20K mark while the alts themselves will lose 90/95% of their value.

Interesting thoughts you got there about covid, icopress, and I say this somewhat extrapolating your predictive analysis on the sports threads Wink
I will be glad to hear if you write more in detail about this .. for example, in one of those topics where we often chat. Kiss

What's up with DS participating in this? We can still share the prizes if we hold out until the last day lol and 5mbtc is around $240 at the current rate so its kinda expensive, perhaps we might have less players compared with the last one. Well I'll opt-in this contest and check if it is worth to continue until the last day for atleast the first 15 days.
Apparently, some of us have misunderstood something, since in my understanding you have to place a bet of 5 mBTC every day for at least 70 days. As a result, there is a 50% chance of losing your bet, and if you are such an unlucky guy like me, you will have to lose 5 mBTC every day. That is why I said that it is desirable to have 0.5 bitcoin on the account, since 5 mBTC * 70 = 350 (+ 150 mBTC if the competition continues). And judging by the fact that the final date of December 31, the final amount will be even greater.
2917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 01, 2021, 07:24:20 PM
In my opinion, there has been no such struggle for several years ... at least judging by the games at the beginning of the season and this summer's transfers.

So I would not rush to conclusions ... I would even add Tottenham to the favorite, not that it was important, but they are the only ones who have not lost a single game so far (including an important "point" after the game against City). Not to mention Kane's rage, which I think will make itself felt in the very near future. In addition, as sad as it may sound Ronaldo, Sancho and Varane now play for Manchester, which undoubtedly seriously tips the scales in his favor.

i'll take this special, but i don't trust Turkey, remember the euros?  Roll Eyes
I decided not to take this special, but the Turks, although they failed the Euro,, they will play at home today with the support of the fans (I think a half-full stadium is better than nothing). But nevertheless, the Turkish national team has not changed much, so I expect a dirty game, as a consequence, I expect a lot of corners [pending more than 13 corners] and seeing a four-fold coefficient (4.5) for such an outcome, I decided not to miss the opportunity and included it in several of my express bets.
