I am glad that you issue got sorted out. I really like how you got back here and gave an update of how everything worked out alongside a few tips. This will help some people in the boat in future when the look-up this thread. I have also gotten to know that the Gemini team can help in such cases unlike most exchanges that don't even bother to help
You are probably right. I am surprised that Gemini wasn't able to send their own ETH to pay for the gas, and take a portion of the recovered token as a fee that could pay for the gas.
It's probably because of accountability. Gemini don't support USDT so taking a small portion of USDT in order to recover coins that were never supposed to be sent there in the first place didn't seem sensible to them

Because " a lion does not have to prove that he's a threat, everyone knows what's already capable of" - Quote from unknown source. We all know Bitcoin forum's place in the crypto space. It's a historic forum, so we don't have time for a dick measuring contest where we have to fight hard to prove which forum is the best.

What does it matter? It matters because while you were absent. He easily managed to recover the account minus any objection from you. It was when i obtained it.
The time you obtained the account doesn't really matter. The recovery procedure is pretty much strict and one of the most important requirements is writing to them using an original email the account was used for registration.

Where i can find Good APY for USDT lending?
Here is my piece of advice. The so-called lending and staking platforms give very low returns for the risk you have taken to; 1. Trust the platform that they won't be hacked 2. Trust USDT that It won't fall into trouble with the US government during the time you have your tokens locked Why don't you just buy bitcoin's dips and watch yourself get far more returns than the so-called lending platforms will offer? Bitcoin can easily make over 20% returns in a month than the APY they are offering you for a full year.

Who told you an exchange is a type of wallet? An exchange is just an exchange. Not a wallet where you keep your Bitcoins. There are other types of wallet you haven't talked about such as web wallets, software wallets, paper wallets and yet you just rushed to call an exchange a type of wallet. I guess you didn't want to miss out on those referrals, did you? You are the people who misinform newbies.

But my transaction has not been completed, it is "pending" on the exchange and the transaction will not be completed. Did I still lose the coins? The trx tron address to which I sent the ada cardano is from my binance account. Do you think that even with the transaction pending on the exchange and not being completed, I still lost the coins?
If the transaction hasn't been sent out, yet then customer support can help you cancel the transaction and refund your account. The only disadvantage you have now is that customer support is slow in responding to the issue, but I believe the solution is easy at this point, and so they will be able to help you. Don't lose hope yet.

I think you haven't configured your metamask to use Binance Smartchain Network yet. Open the account where you sent the ETH and then configure the network setting using the following details - https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/connecting-metamask-to-binance-smart-chainMake sure you use the mainnet details Network Name: Smart Chain New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/ ChainID: 56 Symbol: BNB Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com

Are you in full control of the private keys or seeds of the Tron address?
If yes, then there is a chance that you might be able to recover your add-in case the transaction is processed to that wrong address by the exchange If No, then forget about the ADA. Most exchanges and custodial services don't bother recovering people's wrongly sent funds.

Looks like hacked account to me so i am going to leave a negative. Password resets were so rampant in the month of May 2020 according to BPIP.org I already gave a negative tag, is that user deserved to have a flag too? if so, what kind of flag.
Type 1 flag should be OK so that newbies and guests will be able to see the warnings on top of the thread.

That was my attempt to log in, which instantly displays: "Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum! Your account is locked because it sat inactive for years after the password hashes were leaked in 2015, and was therefore at high risk of being hacked. Email reactivate_2019_*****@bitcointalk.org to get it unlocked."
I will try regain access to my wallets, but not being able to access my wallets is why I wanted to come back to this forum.
Though my situation might have been a little different from yours. I managed to recover my account after the recoveries team found compelling evidence that my account had been hacked minus a staked bitcoin address or signed message. You, too, can try sending them a message from the original email you used to registered your account and include all the necessary information that can help them determine that the account was indeed hacked. You could get lucky Use this new recoveries format - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0

1. You got a typo on the sign-up button. It should be sign up not sing up 2. Is your exchange in operation yet? I do seem some sort of timer when I click on the sell button 3. In simple terms, what is TVS?

The fact is that their support is super slow. I had a problem with binance p2p where someone attempted to scam me over a week ago, and I tried to report the issue but up to today, I haven't got any chance of talking to a customer support agent. All I get are just generic bot replies.

there's minimum on that also. It was 100trx or so . 2 bucks that time
There are so many coins that have withdrawal limits way below $10 such as EOS, ADA, XRP, and even TRX (2 TRX) on their main nets and even lower of BEP2 and BEP20 Check this for more details - https://www.binance.com/en/fee/depositFee

Just wondering,
is it possible to add a feature to notify also when receiving a direct message? Or that would make the message "not really a personal message"?
It's not possible. The bot only tracks data that's publically available. But you could activate an email notification feature so that you get notified via email whenever you receive a PM.

Very weird, given the fact that the account has been actively posting in different threads today as usual and then all of a sudden the last post is asking for private key from people. I hope it was not an April 1st Fool's day prank gone wrong

Last post was 2014 but the account was last active 2 days ago. I also didn't see indication of password change. It doesn't look like it was stolen. When did you found out that it was hacked?
It's possible his account got hacked way back before Bitcointalk profile information sites like BPIP.org started capturing profile data such as password change dates, so there is no easy way of knowing if the password was changes before or not. But If OP has a genuine claim. He can recover his account if he follows the instructions.

I would say Binance since the support of all the coins you mentioned above. You can either trade off your assets and withdraw fiat directly from the platform but at a fee or you can trade of the coins and exchange them for fiat on their p2p exchange for free through the different available payment gateways provided by the buyers - https://p2p.binance.com

They are not scammers, but most of the services are unfair when charging a withdrawal fee. Have you checked out your transaction ID to see if the 0.00115736 BTC was actually used as transaction fee? Use this site to determine which exchange charges the best rates.

It's been almost over a year since the TheRealRazick came here to claim ownership of the account. Where were you for all that long? I am not sure if you will be able to recover the account, but if there is proof that the owner defaulted the loan then the best thing to do is to create flags and leave some negative feedback on the profile As of today accounts are not considered as collateral which means you might be granted the rights of ownership of the account

Free courses are okay. But if you really want to learn how to trade crypto. I suggest you go for a paid course or subscribe to a signal group. I'm in several groups myself all paid for. And its been quite the experience. You get your money's worth and you learn in the process. There's something about getting things for free that just manipulates the human mind. You'd appreciate the information more if you paid for it..it may seem odd but its true
This is ill advice. I have never paid a single cent to learn how to trade, and I have pretty much made a lot of progress with practice. Most of the so called paid signals are even scams, and you learn nothing when your work is to just receive and trade on signals sent by someone. Learn to hunt for yourself. Don't wait for someone to spoon-feed you.
