2901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some IEOs could also turn out to be scam on: June 10, 2019, 06:47:52 AM
I couldn't disagree that it can be the reason of scammers to enter this new project. It could be the reason for another mass fund raising. But compare with the ICO's reputation, since IEO is still new I still in doubt about it but still had a good choice if we choose IEO than ICO. Considering exchanges are the one's responsible for this project thus i don't think reputable exchanges will allow scammers to ruined their reputations.

2903  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading worth checking out? on: June 10, 2019, 05:08:41 AM
Good thing you've met a couple who explained to you about margin trading. But it is not a typical crypto day trader that you have known. If you are pertaining to a day trading, then it is scalping or a swing trading. Have they explained to you the big risk associated with margin trading?

I suggest, if you are well interested in that field, you can do it on yourself. DYOR, try bitmex testnet: https://testnet.bitmex.com/ and explore how margin trading works.
2904  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your First Stop Loss on: June 10, 2019, 04:17:45 AM
Quote

You find yourself in the awkward position where you were right - price was about to go up!

I experienced this often times. When I set my stop loss and it accidentally hit it, my price prediction is happening. I find it so amusing that the market is so playful. But I am so grateful that there is stop loss. It helped me a lot in my trading. The way of the market is most of the times unpredictable. So, the stop loss is a good way  not to lose all your money or not being liquidated.

There is always a purpose of a stop loss. Especially when you are a margin trader.  It is designed directly to save up our fund and is designed to limit our order. It is a powerful tool for a trader to use it.

2906  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is very likely going to break $9000 in the next few days. on: June 08, 2019, 12:20:29 PM
it seems we have to be a little more patient again. for now the price has declined again, and is starting to recover. for now, we need to wait for the bitcoin price to return to the price of $ 8000 before thinking about the price of $ 9000. for now the market conditions are really unstable.

For the current update. From the bear price ag $7,700. It recovered to $8,000 now. Meaning the market is still in a recovery phase before reaching $9,000. It is not easy to reach that as I've seen this scenario before. The more fuds are circulating that btc will gonna reach certain amount, the opposite thing happens. But anyway, the dump is still be an advantage for us. I bought some part of btc when the price decreased. Hope, it will now continue to pump.
2907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For How Long?? on: June 08, 2019, 09:03:51 AM
I've been holding my altcoins for years now and waiting for bullrun to make a better come back but I'm yet to be confused that this is the real bullrun since many altcoins don't bother favouring from the bullrun, what is going on?Huh

Can you state here what altcoins are you holding so we can advice you if that coin you are still holding is still for keeps or not. As you see, sometimes waiting for them to pump is like waiting for a miracle. If that altcoin is left behind. I was talking about altcoins that are not being bought by some investors. Probably, it will not increased the price.

Better sell those you think that it might not give you profits and buy another altcoins to get back the losses. Hold only those coins that can give you benefits and deserves to hold for a long term.
2908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Factors to consider to pick the best altcoin on: June 07, 2019, 07:03:03 AM
If you are going to buy cheap altcoins, there are so many out there that are really cheap but still giving you profits. DYOR is the key. But since you are seeking from the experienced traders, i would only suggest you to buy altcoins that are on the top list in the coinmarketcap. I've bought BNB many times  and i can really say that it is really has a potential. I also bought xrp and eos but to my disappointment, it did just give me some headaches not the profits.  Smiley
2909  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: June 07, 2019, 05:49:02 AM
Actually, I've never heard about this before. If you can provide any link about this hearsay about terrorists using ICO projecgs in return of KYC thing, then it is better. Somehow, it just made me stop and think. It is near possible that they use this crypto projects to accumulate identities from different countries with of course collecting funds at the same time. The motives are too personal if we are talking about terrorists here. But well, how can we really say it's true when all of it was just speculations.
2910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Investing In AltCoin Still Worth it in 2019? on: June 07, 2019, 04:53:18 AM
Ethereum is absolutely a great altcoin to invest with. No doubts about that. Though you can still choose from various altcoins but ethereum's potential is far ahead from the others. There are a lot of opportunities this year 2019. We have a variety of altcoins to choose from. I'd still prefer ethereum as my major long term investment. I believe that this coin has a powerful and strong objective and applications that is why I have chosen it.
2911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: next alt coin to rocket on: June 06, 2019, 01:32:43 PM
need to turn 1k to 5k fast like 2 weeks type of fast anyone know of a possible coin that might rocket soon

If you can turn $1000 into $5000 then you can also turn $1000 into $200. So be very careful, because is so similar.

I agreed upon this. It is not easy to achieve your target profits quick in just a span of two weeks! Even if you'll use strong indicators and use signals, there are still circumstances that it will turn on the other sides and makes you deficit. However, why don't you try to lower your target profit? Usually, short term tradings can give you small profits. You've said, two weeks then probably, it is hard to achieve your goal even if you'll research well about that particular coin.
2912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading the crossover - do you wait for the candle to close before buying? on: June 06, 2019, 10:07:21 AM
Actually, i am not relying with the candles if we will enter before it close or not. If you are gonna search for some indicators, it provides on when is the intact or the right time to enter and to exit the trades. Try to use AO oscillator or stoch RSI. I'm using that two indicators to enter and to exit in my trades. However, you can't just rely in an hourly tf. You can confirm and look for the good entry from different timeframes. As a swing trader, i rely mostly in 4hr tf, 1d tf and confirms it in some shorter tf.
2913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Bulls Near Exhaustion on: June 06, 2019, 05:44:00 AM
What's your thought? Do you think that bitcoin has still its own fuel to boost up or nah?
Bitcoin is near in 9000$, will you still hold your coin or trade it now because it might fall down?

As you have said. Bitcoin is exhausted in a bull and the curreny market is suffering from the downfall. If you are a swing trader, you can easily sell you btc before the dump happened. But if you are a long term trader, you can still wait for the btc to pump. I can see btc's another bull run tl $9,000-$10,000. A correction is happening before another bull run.
2914  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: about exchanges kyc withdraw! on: June 06, 2019, 03:36:12 AM
Can you provide what exchanges to that? As far as I know, some reputable exchanges like binance, bitmex doesn't require kyc for depositing and withdrawing. My transactions are fine with them. Maybe you can consider exchanges that are already trusted so that you can prevent these kind of tricks. Somehow, I tried to understand this kind of protocol in some exchanges like not requiring kyc for depositing but strictly required kyc for withdrawing.
2915  Economy / Speculation / Re: after only a few days the bitcoin has gone up, but now it's starting to fall aga on: June 05, 2019, 04:02:19 PM
we will follow your thinking and we will all stop buying bitcoin and we will stop selling bitcoins, how do you think the market would look? the market would stop. there will always be someone who is keen to buy and there will always be someone who is keen to sell. You can see this in real life.

The decision would only rely on our hands.
We can sell or buy no matter what the market situation is but the best thing to do is to handle our emotions well. Most people who have accumulated bitcoin will surely sell their coins because they're afraid of the possible downfall of the market again but if we're a crypto enthusiast, panicking has no place for us.

Regardless of the btc's current situation, we can still gain from the bear market or bull market. I am mentioning about the swing trading and margin trading. Though we can really say that panic buyers and panic sellers are around the corner, the thing here is that those who are panicking are contributing to the market's downfall.

We are not new to the crypto world. We have see this before and we can still maintain our composure as a trader. Make this downfall a beneficial and an advantage to buy btc and wait for the great pump.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs BTC on: June 05, 2019, 02:45:38 PM
There are advantages and disadvantages for both coins, maybe speed of confirmation, but always there Bitcoin is the starter of this crypto world and Ethereum is the king of altcoins.

There is always a solution for everything. We can't deny the fact that the problem btc was facing was that of slower confimations of transactions and the higher fees. However, some may convert their btc into eth just to lessen the fees and to make the transactions faster than the usual btc tx's. With this issue, traders are still preferred btc. Let us see how eth will surpass btc with this said issue.
2917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need suggestion on: June 05, 2019, 01:33:48 PM
I would suggest, you invest in those coins that are reputable ones. BTC and ETH are the leading ones who are on the top of crypto coins. However, if you want to diversify investments, consider some coins like tron, dogecoin, monero and bnb. You can DYOR to confirm if these coins are really worth to invest or not.
2918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Uncomfortable Truth on: June 05, 2019, 12:29:44 PM

Personally, I would rather hold my bitcoin that spend it because I am looking forward that soon it can go beyond the $20,000 (or almost) reached in 2017. I am sure that am not alone with this mindset right now.

There are times that I used bitcoin to buy things for myself. But i do still believe that bitcoin will also surge up to $20k or above. As a crypto trader and investor, I'm very positive about it and I tend to keep hodling some parts of bitcoin for long term investments. I guess there is no problem with that. We have different thinking. Some may not spend it and considered it only as an asset/investment but some may always use it for personal reasons.
I can always say, it depends on the scenario of a btc holder.
2919  Economy / Economics / Re: Forms of converting cryptocurrencies into cash on: June 05, 2019, 09:13:03 AM
In the Philippines where crypto industry is starting to bloom, many exchange platforms and e-wallets are starting to emerge.

For example, from etherdelta, coins will go to the trading account to be exchanged in ethereum, from this accout, it will be sent to an individualized account in coins.ph then from there it will be in the form of pero or other currencies like BTC, BCH. then it will be cashed out through authorized remittance partners or banks to be turned into cash.

Just to make it simple for all the the members who are residing in the Philippines.
We are using coins.ph and abra as a digital wallet. Since coins.ph have xrp, btc, bch and eth. You can easily transferred your coins preferably the said coins above into fiats (php) then cash out to the supported banks or remittance center. To sum it up:
  • BTC (from exchange) transfer to coins.ph/abra acct.
  • From coins.ph, convert btc to fiat (php). Remember that every convertions has a corresponding fee.
  • Or in coins.ph, convertions are not necessarry and we can easily cashout btc to the remittance center to remove fees from converting btc to fiats. This is what I usually do.
  • Cash out to the supporting outlets. (Another fee)

Coins.ph already have an exchange where we can already trade. So if you are a trader, you can easily trade at coins.ph and direct convertions and cashing out.
2920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rush money and BITCOIN on: June 04, 2019, 10:24:43 AM
Rush money is part of the economic crisis.  Rush money is a process when all people to take a large amount of money they save in a bank.
the impact of the Rush money process is that global inflation.  and the bank's financial system will be destroyed.

In what country are you located at? Never heard rush money as well. Is it like if someone is in panic mode, he will get his money from the bank, and then what? OP, can you elaborate further what you wanted to convey here, in relation with bitcoin?

Same here. I just that 'Rush Money' from OP. But I do have some idea now. If it is related to economic status of a particular country, how is it related with bitcoin? Seems vague for me until I've read this from steemit.

Quote from: steemit
Rush Money in this case is defined as taking money stored in banks simultaneously, as a form of mistrust of the community with the health condition of the bank or an unstable economy.

I just don't understand why are you so worried about rush money in bitcoin. In the first place, we are not under banks and we hold and keep our btcs in our wallets.

Quote
or do you think that BTC never make Rush money?

I don't think so. There is a big difference of rush money you are talking about. And we simply trust bitcoin. If we want to withdraw your btc, you can easily do that.
