Arsenal still like to transfer young talents a lot. Fabio Vieira seems to be one of that kind of players. However, Arsenal shouldn't make do with this kind of transfer in the summer too. They obviously need some star players in the team now to fight harder in the Premier League. They had a wonderful season despite starting badly and finished at the 5th place.
To allure quality players your team needs to be in the Champions League, and if you aren't in the Champions League, then you should be able to offer quality players a very fat salary in order to concvince them to move to your team, Arsenal can't offer any of the above, they are not in the CL, and they do not have the sort of budget to offer fat paychecks to players. Thus having said that, they have to be moderate, the coach is not doing any badly with what the board is providing for him in terms of funds, what ruined their season last time out was that they missed out on CL football for next season, even after being in the driving seat for so long; well they can look forward to next season, they are making good signings in my opinion, Gabriel Jesus looks set to be joining from City and he is not coming for cheap either. The thing is, a top four finish will be good for them, as i can't see them winning or even challenging for the EPL, then they can try to win a domestic League Cup, either the FA cup or Carabao cup.

Thanks bro for opening a new thread and hopefully we will see a healthy discussion here without any spam, btw what about the old thread you created, has it been locked?
Yeah it has been locked, you can find the link to the old thread in the OP to see that it has been locked, and since spam is the major reason why it was locked, i do hope users try and stay on-topic and make quality posts in this thread. oh yeah, if you can slightly differentiate the writing on the current thread title, because if you look at the old thread, you will definitely find a little confusion from the members here who discuss the Europa League instead posting in the Conference League thread and vice versa.
If i understood you correctly, are you saying users unknowingly post about the UEFA Europa League in the thread for Europa Conference League and vise versa, if that be the case then i doubt the problem stems from the thread titles/subject as they are both clearly different for any user to see them, such users are either not reading or not paying attention. Prolly now that the thread is self moderated we would see less of that mistake.

Personally i can't take a loan to invest in Bitcoin, i hardly ever take loans, and the few times i have ever taken one i knew the sort of pressure i wan under when i tried to raise money to repay my creditor and things were not going according to plan, one time it led me to take another loan, as i had to borrow from a different person to complete the due sum of my first loan. You can imagine eh?
Now imagine if i took a loan to invest in Bitcoin few weeks back and this dump came, that will definitely drive me nuts, and it will indeed affect my peace in RL and my relationship with my family and loved ones, that is not something i want, thus i will only buy Bitcoin with my money, with the understanding that this is money i can afford to lose, and whatever should happen i will take full responsibility for.

How far can the coach go on with three of them, can they win anything with the squad ?
I am surprised by this question, they just strengthened their squad by bringing Lukaku back to the team and you are asking if they can win anything, this is the team that won the Italian league two seasons back (when Lukaku was around), and won the Coppa Italia last season, and now they have re-signed Lukaku on loan and seeking to sign Dybala who is a free player for now, and you question their ability to win a trophy next season, of course they can, they are definite contenders for the Italian seria A yet again, AC Milan took the title from them last season, but if they handle their transfer business shrewdly, then they have a huge chance to be Italian champions again. It is the job of the coach to understand how to use/pair his players, so you and i shouldn't be worried about that.

My suggestion for controlling spam on that board will be for moderators to lock any thread exceeding 50 pages, no matter how interesting anyone thinks the discussions going on there is. Secondly, campaigns should reduce their weekly post count requirement on that board to just five posts instead of 10. That way, participants won't hastily populate those threads with unconstructive posts and make them redundant.
I am a football lover, so i will use the footballing threads in the gambling discussion section as an example, most of those threads are peculiar to a particular football league and the Champions league all season long, and a season lasts from August till May, that is about 10 months span, imagine if mods have to lock each thread that gets to its 50th page, mind you that it will get there (50 pages) pretty quickly as football discussions go on endlessly there, if that happens we would prolly have new topics created, locked and another created again in the same day, everyday. That will make matters worse, and i would not want that cause i am active in that section. As for signature campaigns, we can't dictate what their requirements should be, there are quite a lot of users making more than 20+ constructive posts in the gambling discussion section, it is very easy to do if you love football or the dedicated thread of the sport you are commenting in. There will always be spammers, just as there are in every section, so the 'reporting' method should still suffice.

I am a newbie and would like to invest $1000 to start. I have read that I should put 40 percent into bitcoin and diversify the other 60 percent. I need opinions, advice, and anything from those with experience of positive value. In Bitcointalk questions are appreciated and answers will be provided if the questions are worthwhile. But for whatever it is worth, it is best if you do not ask 'noob' questions relating to investment or trading, or to state exact sums of money you possess and wish to invest; that clearly denotes you wholly do not know what you are doing, and when you do not know what you are doing you become more vulnerable to scams and scammers. Do your personal research about investment or trading and from there you can make up your own mind, if you had done your research you would understand that investing in things that are intrisincally similar is no investment whatsoever.

Just like everyone else, i do not know when the bear market will end. But what i do know is that it is risky to buy alts anytime, but much more risky when the market is the way it is now, altcoins are more often than not pump and dump coins that are pumped by hype, and i am afraid there is no sort of 'hype' in the network at this very time. Many alts that have crashed would not rise back up again, so there is no need trying to buy them cause chances are high that you will buy an alt that is going completely off the market with this bear run.

Can you make more money participating in bounties or airdrops? I made the most money doing airdops so far, like the one from Uniswap, but long term, I think bounties like the one from candlelabsdotorg will pay off better. What do you think?
I think both of them are a waste of your time honestly, i can only advice you to make better use of your time in the forum and on the network, Airdrops were quite popular before, and then they could give you something, though little, but now many of them are scams that more or less want to steal your personal data and info for little or nothing in the end. Bounties are quite similar and one of the major cause of spam in this forum, mind you that there is nothing long term about bounties, quite a lot of them do not pay and if you are active here you'd see their participants always complaining of breach of contract (no payment in the end), so you'd also be wasting your time if you take up bounties as something you want to do. What should you do? Learn about Bitcoin, that is the advice every reputable user would give you in this forum, learning about Bitcoin will help you to earn in the long run, or if you are really skilled in something, you could advertise it and see if users will be interested.

I hope you no follow for people weh dash us this calamity weh be Bubu. The way this thing come be now, e be like make we rewind the clock to 2011 self before the coming of Bubu make all eyes clear. The suffering of today na from the mistake of 2011. Make we shine eye this time to know wetin we deh do. Na face we deh look vote now, no be party.
I can assure you that even if you take back the hands of time to 2011, do not be surprised that Buhari would still emerge victorious, after Buhari's first tenure of 4 years, of which another election was held in 2015, didn't he still emerge victorious for the second time, even after the disastrous first 4 years in office. I simply can't understand Nigerians. Isn't it the same Tinubu who was instrumental in Buhari's emergence as the president that quite a lot of people are supporting and rooting for to be president, he was in Lagos the other day and you need to see the number of people waiting to welcome and greet him. Sometimes i wonder if we have become completely inure to suffering, or if we have fallen in love with our 'oppressors', or we are just plain hungry and do not mind eating the crumbs that falls off our oppressors' tables, tbh, i can't wait for the 2023 election to come and go, the result is going to be a very crucial one for our nation.

Cryptocurrencies are digital currencies. The thing is that there are different kinds of digital currencies, the one your country is planning on launching is a centralized digital currency (or CBDC), meaning it is controlled by your government and issued by them, they are somewhat similar to centralized digital crypto like XRP, the only difference is that CBDC's are issued by central banks. Bitcoin is also a digital currency, but a decentralized one, thus they more or less mean the same thing as they are both digital currencies, but of different kinds. Digital currency is just like the general name for both of them (crypto and CBDC's), see the excerpt below: Digital currency (digital money, electronic money or electronic currency) is any currency, money, or money-like asset that is primarily managed, stored or exchanged on digital computer systems, especially over the internet. Types of digital currencies include cryptocurrency, virtual currency and central bank digital currency.

It ain't EPL that is not suitable for Lukaku, he is just difficult to adapt to Tuchel's tactics.
Every coach has their own tactics and pattern of play, and players move to new clubs every now and then and fall under new management with a different coach/tactic, it is the responsibility of a good player to adapt to how his manager wants him to play, you can't make an excuse for Lukaku of not adapting to Tuchel's tactics, that is why he is a professional footballer, he needs to understand the game better, Chelsea didn't pay the huge sum they did for him to complain about struggling to adapt. Erling Haaland is coming to City next season, and he is going to play under one of the most demanding managers in Pep, with a new strategy and responsibilty, but we all expect him to shine, more of the problem is on Lukaku's technical abilities if he is leaving cause he is struggling to adapt.

especially at the cost of incredible luck, as it happened this season, when the teams that were stronger and higher class were passed.
I can't agree less with you on this aspect, Real Madrid were very lucky to win the CL last season (i know, who cares, they won), and i am pretty sure even the players and their manager know they just about kept on defying elimination, against PSG, Chelsea, City and Liverpool, they were not the better team in any of these games, especially against City, were Pep's men dominated the two legs, should have put the game to bed even in the first leg, but blew it all up few seconds to go in the tie. It is what it is, and Madrid went on to win the CL, but to be honest they were not the team most deserving of the title in terms of performances and domination.

It was never meet my expectations since I'm not naive to trust all the promises of cryptocurrencies that they were the future. I stay with cryptocurrency because it can bring me profit, and bring it fast if I know what thing to do. That it, no bought in by empty promises and expectations like many in this thread.
I quite understand your position in the network, it is one of an altcoin enthusiast, and to be very fair to you it is the correct one, i for one do not believe that altcoins are long term projects, they are to be held for the short term and sold for quick profits, cause they have no utility and are only backed by fake promises. But Bitcoin is unlike them, Bitcoin has an actual utility and it is nothing like altcoins, thus if you ever should trust any coin for the long term/future, then it should be Bitcoin, cause your money is safe there.

My greatest challenge on Bitcointalk is that the more I read about Bitcoin-related topics the more I become aware of my lack of knowledge. It seems as if there's always a new secret door once you cracked open the code for the previous one. Honestly, sometimes it is confusing because Bitcoin is so multifaceted and different boards cater for these discussions and knowledge-giving that one doesn't know which to focus on and just how long.
Bitcointalk is really a life saver of a forum as regards Bitcoin learning, i know there are external resources and sources to get information about Bitcoin, but in my opinion, i will select Bitcointalk ahead of any other Bitcoin learning platform out there, Bitcoin is really complex to understand just as you have said, and for me the little knowledge i have, i got from engaging in discissions here, and reading posts and topics of other users. I know I still lack so much knowledge, but i am not a total novice either, because i have read quite a lot about Bitcoin in this forum. I am actually not trying to learn everything all at once, cause i know i am not a tech guy, so i am taking things one step at a time, and i am enjoying it that way.

However we cannot force people to buy, they are the ones which must decide to enter the market and if they choose to miss this chance then that is on them, the only thing we can do is to take advantage of it and then hold our coins for as long as we can, as this is the way in which we will obtain the most benefits out of our coins.
I second that, i have always believed that people are absolutely free to think whatsoever that want to about Bitcoin, that is their own opinion and it should be respected, we are Bitcoin believers cause we have prolly seen quite a lot of things that made us believe, we have also done out own research and made up out mind that Bitcoin is perfect, both as an investment and a currency, and that is why most of us use it, for those who do not have the desire to research and find out for themselves, then it is on them; and if they buy other assets they feel are better, then that is their choice. One thing i have learnt not to do is to panic, over the years my confidence in Bitcoin has grown very large, and i have had no reason to regret that, or to stop accumulating when i see a great opportunity, and for those people that are like me, let us keep accumulating, that is our choice too.

Lukaku really wants to leave Chelsea. Lukaku has failed to shine since returning to the Blues and he is also involved in personal problems with Tuchel, even Lukaku has criticized Tuchel's scheme which resulted in him being fined by the club. According to reports, Lukaku is ready to cut his salary to be able to play again with Inter Milan. However, Inter will face obstacles in being able to return Lukaku to the Giuseppe Meazza. Because, Chelsea did not want to loan Lukaku to Inter without any reciprocity. But what is clear is that Lukaku's opportunity to leave is very large.
Right after that interview Lukaku made last season were he was full of praise for Inter and their supporters, and in contrast didn't have any kind words for Chelsea and their fans, the club he represents, that was when i knew it was more or less over between Chelsea and Lukaku, even though his second spell at the club was just at its infancy. Inter are favorites to get him, and i think they will, Chelsea board and fans will definitely be fuming right now, cause they paid quite a lot of money to bring Lukaku in barely a year ago, and now they are surely going to run at a loss when they sell him this summer, i am pretty sure Chelsea will not accept a loan offer, they will want to do away with everything that has to do with Lukaku once and for all.

I have seen some news sources claiming that Tottenham are also among the teams interested in bringing Gareth Bale to the team. The Sun is among these sources too therefore it can be fake news. I haven't heard anything from Tottenham side so far like they are seriously interested in him. In fact, they even seem like they don't want him in the squad once again. I understand them too because he is aging and it is doubtful if he can make a good contribution to the team again. I think it can be fake news too, i don't see any reason why Spurs will go for Bale again, he already returned to the club on loan when Mou was manager, and even if he didn't do too poorly, he didn't get so much playing time, thus the club decided not to make the deal permanent and he returned to Real Madrid, Spurs have already signed a winger in Perisic, i can't see Bale going to the North London club. To be fair to Bale, i do not think he would also want to go there, with Wales in the World Cup later this year, Bale who is their captain and a very vital part of their squad has to be fit, and to be fit he has to be playing constantly in the few months that remain before the WC starts, Spurs can't guarantee him that, i am thinking we will see Bale in a smaller club where he can play very often and get himself ready for the WC, cause the National team (Wales) seems like his only motivation right now.

Ten Hag may want to restore the performance of the existing players, because basically they are quality players only in the last few seasons they failed to present their best game. Overall, Manchester United have a pretty good squad, but for some reason they are playing below the quality they have. I think Ten Hag is aware of it all, hopefully under his leadership the players can show real quality.
Like i have always said, unlike some people i do not think United's problem was all about their manager, even when Ole was in charge, i kept saying firing Ole would not bring immediate improvement, Ragnick came in and things weren't any different, the players have a responsibility to their club and fans, and currently they are not living up to that responsibility. There is enough quality in that team, i mean, they have been spending so much money on players in the last couple of seasons, so these players have to charge themselves and represent their club with all of their ability. Erik is good, and he has a huge job ahead of him, his major task now is to get the best out of his players so they play in the style he wants them to play, any player who doesn't fit in should go, it is as simple as that, no player is bigger than the club.

There are quite a lot of reasons why you prolly shouldn't buy altcoins, especially in this period, the thing is that most of these altcoins are pump and dump coins, and they are only pumped through hype, right now in the network there is no such hype and most altcoins are going to dump and never rise again, since they actually do not have any utility. Altcoins are short term projects, and buying coins in this period only means you have the intention of hodling it for a long time, thus you shouldn't really be buying altcoins now cause you shouldn't be hodling altcoins for the long period. If i had any altcoin at this time, i will sell them so i do not lose everything completely, and prolly buy when the market is okay again, and when there is hype. If there is a coin you should buy now that would be Bitcoin.

Let us be sincere with our sef if Peter Obi wan win this election he need to form alliance with Kwankwaso this man go bring Northern votes join the southern votes mostly from the youths, dem plenty for North, we no say them dey born pikins anyhow and underage children dey vote wella, but will Kwankwaso agree to be VP to Peter Obi? I don't think that man will summit himself...
If Kwankwaso agrees to be running mate to Peter Obi, then that is a big step en route to his victory in next year's polls, but the same question you asked is will Kwankwaso agree to this offer, to coalesce with Peter and be his Vice, i know it is a difficult situation for him, especially on the basis of his popularity in the north, but i can only hope this works out between them. About a week ago i think they both had a closed door meeting together, details of that meeting is yet to surface, and we do not know if there was progress in the discussion, or if they have scheduled the meeting for a later time, let's just keep our fingers crossed and await a good news soon.
