But what happens? You're out there buying DRK for 10 mil ...?
You'll drive the price, exorbitant, unreal, you'll have all the vultures on your back.
Then you Darksend to liquidate at the other end.
You liquidate DRK for 10 mil $ and the price will collapse.
Thats total shit, how you wanna solve this...?

You have a point, ideally we'd have a big enough marketcap to accommodate serious transfers of wealth without that swinging the current market price wildly, but that comes with time and adoption. A few years ago BTC was worth peanuts too, and even now BTC would suffer the same thing if anyone used it for big wealth transfers. Quite apart from the spot price not being particularly meaningful anyway when trading large amounts, what you miss though is that as long as the wealth gets transferred, it doesn't matter to whoever is doing it what the market value of one discrete chunk of the transfer medium is.Exactly... when 1000 USD = 0.0001 DRK, there is more than enough liquidity. Right now, you're spot on. What we need more than anything is merchant acceptance. Then the economy flourishes. Thanks for the link tungfa, I just posted a response drawing the authors attention to the current state of play with DRK. I feel that now darksend is opensourcing we can finally respond with confidence when there is any incomplete and/or erroneous info Blogged about DRK. exatclty ! i am emailing all these retard publications with these bullshit researched stories regarding their mistakes, and normally they are open to change it ! email them in a nice way ! (even they are totally retarted) |
