Bottom line, no matter what happens after this is all about control for the elite doesn't matter who is in office. They want their NWO and you to own nothing and be a serf, a slave to their perceptions.

True. Trump just made all Americans look like embarrassing douchelords because we could be collectively stupid enough to elect as big a narcissistic and bumbling fraud as he was. That's why I'm glad he's gone, if for no other reason than he made us look dumb as sin. I understand that's not enough to slow some people down.
2902  Other / Meta / Re: Admin/Mods Please lock the Livecoin Thread on: July 28, 2021, 07:36:10 PM
Hello

@hilariousandco
@mprep

Its been two weeks.

The ceaseless spamming of the Livecoin thread continues uninterrupted.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1151791.1620;topicseen

Every time a newb account writes their incentivized post (which they are, I laid out all the evidence earlier in this thread), it bumps the Livecoin thread to the top of the Exchanges section.

It's a fraudulent exchange that pulled an exit scam and now they are using the forum to not only cover their tracks but salvage their disastrous reputation.

Please lock the thread. Every day dozens of newb accounts post the same message. The exchange is closed. There's no reason to keep the thread open.

Hate to say it because I'm gonna sound like TECSHARE here (RIP), but leaving it open while banning/temp banning other members for the exact same behavior reflects double-standards in moderation...

Hope I never say that again, feels kind of gross, but its worth it to get this stupid thread locked.
2903  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is President of the United States of America on: July 28, 2021, 07:29:57 PM
He also wants you to get vaccinated.

I don't think he cares if his supporters die from COVID-19, he just wants to be praised for the vaccine:

Quote from: fucking idiot
...people are refusing to take the Vaccine because they don't trust his Administration, they don't trust the Election results, and they certainly don't trust the Fake News, which is refusing to tell the Truth.

This is such a powerfully stupid sentence. It seems like something that a comedian playing Trump would say in a comedy sketch.

Biden is just outwardly less foolish than Trump, and that's all that it takes to raise the bar.

Repubs are going to have trouble finding a Trump replacement, because spoiler alert, they have no clue what they're looking for. After Trump, what does it really mean to be a "conservative"? Not much.
2904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: July 28, 2021, 06:48:41 PM
I tried the mock draft already. It was very confusing and I was very overwhelmed. It made me pick the players that I do not know and have not heard of hehehe.

Thats okay, nobody knows all the players (well most of us don't)... inevitably you draft people you never heard of, just the way it goes for most casual FF players, including myself.

Once we start getting down to the 8th round, you start to notice how small the NFL actually is... when you're left with nothing but people you never heard of to draft.

We will make sure you don't start with a disadvantage in knowing how things work. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and we'll answer them.
2905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: July 27, 2021, 10:57:28 PM
So far these are the preferences the members of the league have expressed regarding the day and the hour the draft is to be conducted.

I suggest we just use EST as our standard time. ESPN and NFL usually list game times according to EST anyway.

I am good any day of the week, from any time between 2 PM and 2 AM EST.

Everybody else name your windows and we'll attempt to narrow down a spot.

Damn, celebrating 4 year membership of this community! Time flies when you're having a ball (or two).

Could this be the right time to open a few threads in the Meta, Beginners and Reputation boards to teach people a few valuable lessons about my experience on the forum, and receive a million billion trillion Merits?

Fugg no.

You're honestly the kind of member who deserves to rank up and I'm not just saying that because of the hat. You're not even wearing a signature. So take my merits, now you're only 300 away from Legendary.
2907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Yield Guild Games (YGG) token sale: $13 million, 32 participants, 31 seconds on: July 27, 2021, 08:53:55 PM
Yield Guild Games (YGG) is one of the biggest guilds to arise from the play-to-earn movement. They have a heavy presence in Axie Infinity, which has been on fire this year, and helped originate the whole "scholarship" idea for lending out Axies for players willing to dedicate time to play.

The YGG token public sale concluded on SushiSwap yesterday and caused a huge amount of controversy within the community.

https://twitter.com/YieldGuild/status/1420028435540418561

The entire allotment of 25 million tokens sold out in 2 Ethereum blocks, or 31 seconds, to a total of 32 parties.

Meanwhile the "community" consists (theoretically) of over 10,000 people. Hundreds of people tried to get in but ETH gas fees spiked. One participant paid over 4.2 ETH in gas to secure a purchase.

A lot of people are accusing the sale of not being for the community but for whales, and are now saying YGG is just using the idea of a community-run DAO to make money for their rich friends.

From the YGG Discord:

In YGG's defense, they have promised to distribute millions of tokens to community members who have demonstrated some involvement in the guild. This should start to take place in the upcoming week or so. If it doesn't, I think a lot of people are going to have serious concerns, wondering what they've been grinding away this whole time for.

What do you think? If you have an original thought on this topic, I welcome it.
2908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 27, 2021, 01:57:53 AM
Must be hiding it really well behind a shitwall of threads like "bitcoin will never go above $xyz".

No his ethos is all about Bitcoin going down, he's steadfast and unwavering about it.

These are the results of the block hash lottery:

692225      c   1st pick      nutildah

Nice! Thanks for doing this. Gronk is all mine and you can't stop me. LOL jk.

When will we drafting hehe.

Can anyone also give me some advice on how to do the draft? Do you use pen and paper and write down your picks and have a plan b and plan c if your chosen player is picked by someone else? Advice me please hehe.

Yep like Heuristic said you can arrange your player rankings how you see fit before the draft starts.

So lets say somebody picks the #1 player on your list, then you would draft whoever you have in the #2 position on your draft list once it becomes your turn. If somebody picks your #2 before your turn, then you would pick whoever is #3 on your list, etc.

So you kind of have to pay attention to see if you can get the guy you want. You could pile your top 20 positions with QBs and draft 3 QBs while everyone else has moved on to selecting WR or RB. Then you'd be "QB heavy."

Who knows tho. Maybe you want to draft Davante Adams (WR) first if you think he's more important than a QB. That's just an example... could be anybody you feel is gonna earn you big points.

Here's a good second opinion as far as rank order is concerned:

https://fantasy.nfl.com/research/rankings

So did we come to a conclusion about the draft date? Sounded like we were headed toward the 3rd or 4th week of August.

You'd have to be an utter fool to make this kind of deal with someone with no reputation.

2912  Economy / Reputation / Re: Nutildah's bounty cheaters & ban evaders thread on: July 26, 2021, 06:39:42 PM
This guy came back to the forum after a three year break:

Is it just me or has the quality of discussion and even grammatical coherence of posts gone down almost as logarithmyically as bitcoin went up last year?  I've been off the board for a little while and coming back it feels like it's completely different, I gleaned a MASSIVE amount of knowledge hear in the past years and now all I see is google translates of boiler plate statements.

Granted those translations have always been here, just seems like that's ALL there is these days.

Seems like he must have had a lobotomy and completely forgotten he'd written that post.

So many tokens on telegram creates this opportunity for their investors most engage their followers on bounty programs either rewarding them with a token or a more valuable coin I think this is a strategy to circulate their tokens

So basically this user turned into a moron and wants us to believe they are simply "back from a long break."

I have been away for quite a long time with lots of engagements and Haven't had the time to see what have been going on in and around the forum but I'm really back for good. I'm back to learn, share, and add value. But for the time been I'm still doing lots of observation from forum users to get acquainted with the recent changes so far as well the updated version of Bitcoin talk a whole lot has changed but with past experience I know it wouldn't be that difficult finding my way around the forum.

For now I'm still doing my research so I find a suitable baord that would interest me most but for the time been please expect me everywhere and feel free to make corrections we are here to explore the blockchain technology and in not long a time the technology we have so longed for would invade the whole planet with newer approach to world pressing issues don't be left out Bitcoin users grab a course and study the world is changing real fast and a whole lot of persons might be left behind

Pretty sure this account was purchased specifically to take place in the 1xbit campaign, and this is its owner:

For one to loose in gambling is actually their fate but when it comes to loosing big then lack of control which might even end up as addiction might set in. Most gamblers are way too greedy take the little winnings tommorow is another day but most of them would want to get back at the feeling everyday has the same level of luck when it comes to gambling if you are opportunied to win stick to it and come back another day.

If I sell off my coin I might not be opportunied to buy back the coin at the exact rate I bought the previous one and had to come to a concrete decision of not selling my coin no matter the consequence...

Running from trading because of a lost trade is like avoiding classes because its going to rain by and by as a trader loosing trades must occur it's left for the trader to decide how much they are willing to loose in a particular trade and stay deciplined at with a proper stop loss set to help the trader in case the trade decides to go against the analysis. Trading requires consistency and dedication if not it would be difficult to gain mastery

Both Alisha-k and Ebede use the same exchange, though they have different deposit addresses. Not issuing any tags for these users because I want to see if I'm right about dbc23. Don't tell them about this post. LOL.

Yesterday I found another plagiarist from your "honest" company. But for some reason, the account   raiblock has not yet been banned.
Otherwise, we might see the stories of the ghost doing the copied text again.
I would like to urge moderators to take more vigilant consideration of his trust.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg57541007#msg57541007

I should have just read two posts up in the plagiarism thread and I wouldn't have re-done the work you did already...

In any case, OP chose to play this game, and as it meant a lot to him, he should have looked into the rules.

I don't think he even understands what 1xbit is, or what this forum is for that matter.

Fragile and conflict-affected low-income economies have been the hardest hit by the pandemic, and per capita income gains have been set back by at least a decade.

I don't want to be a buzzkill but I would definitely recommend holding off investing in this game for a bit.

There's a good chance a lot of people are going to experience their first time getting rekt.

I'm sure more than usual are over-invested in this game. If that's the case, I would get out now with these amazing gains and come back in September. But that's just me...

Even if AXS goes up to $30 next week, it could still crash back to $5 the week after.

I hope it doesn't of course, but let's face it, these kind of quick gains are never sustainable.

So it "crashed" to $14 and then skyrocketed up to $45! Holy Moly.

Glad I didn't say, "ha, told you so", or anything. Because I already came to the realization that I don't really understand anything about the AXS or SLP market.

Other than this game is more popular beyond anyone's previous suspicions.

There is a dark mist looming over the platform.

From the post (directly plagiarized):

2. Identity of the Business Owner
The identity of who owns and runs the platform remains hidden. Investing in an anonymous online investment platform is more or less throwing your money in the wind. Once you deposit funds, there's no telling who is responsible.

3. Domain history
The website was launched on August 16, 2020. The domain shares the same server as other low-ranking crypto investment websites.
