2901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NO KYC Sportbooks? on: November 06, 2021, 10:47:01 AM
Since you are putting emphasis on NEVER, I'm afraid there is none.
There are still some gambling sites that require no verification other than email, some will also require for name and addresses which can be all fake and crypto based, the gambling crypto sites that require just crypto cryptocurrencies for payment make this more possible. Also if kyc is not up to the level of identification documents, should we regard just those email verification as kyc.

The user is talking about the possible case in the future. For now, yes, there are still lots of gambling sites that require no KYC verification.

However, there's no assurance that someday, we will have the same setup. That's why there is no accurate answer to OP's question as we don't know the gambling site's plan in the future regarding KYC terms. If they will be hit up by hard regulations, then it's likely it will be passed to their users and KYC is one of the mandatory and necessary requirements that might be asked.
2902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: November 06, 2021, 10:33:28 AM
If you only have $10 left in your sports betting account, would you go for the champ which you can only earn $3, or go for the underdog which if he got lucky can triple your money?

As per the example, the odd gap is huge. So, there has to be a relevant reason for the odd to set that high for the underdog.
If you bet without looking at the match comparison, past performances of both fighters, records, and everything like that, is like putting a bet on the "jackpot" in the wheel of fortune.
You can't just throw away your money just because it gives you 3x the bet when the underdog wins. You have to maka a research. A consistent $3 win is always better than lossing the $10 bet in a single match.

As far as how OP constructed the post, looks like win or loss doesn't matter.

No need for me to spend time analyzing that match since OP just wants to use the left $10 on the account. After all that $10 affords to lose.

But if the situation will be serious, then that's the time it needs analysis. And definitely, I will not end up betting on a match that I don't have knowledge like the case and scenario given by the OP.
2903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice against plako or slot on: November 06, 2021, 10:20:01 AM
As far as I know 0.5% of house edge is practically the standard for dice playing in any casino now. These are really the best odds among all the games on offer, which is why many players prefer dice. It is obvious that in any game the casino will have an advantage, but it is even psychologically more pleasant to play knowing that it is the minimum/best on the market.

I think the standard house edge of dice game is 1%, the only site with less than 1% is crypto.games with 0.8%. I'm not really sure if there are dice sites with 0.5% house edge, if you know about it then please kindly share it here because it can be useful information for dice lovers. I know one site namely Safedice but unfortunately it turned to a scam already.

I think so too that 1% house is somehow the standard house edge. I remember answering the same concern way back 2019;
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191881.msg52718339#msg52718339

I'm not sure though if there's a change at some sites but I believed most still have the same house edge today.
2904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 06, 2021, 06:23:23 AM
^^ True, there's no way that Arum will allow a 50/50 split purse between the two. Inoue is still the A-side in this fight, but it will be very interesting what will be the split though, I think a 60/40 in favour of Inoue will be good enough for Casimero. But we all know Casimero, he just wanted to secure a fight with Inoue and maybe not be interested on the money. Of course, it should be good enough for him and his team and for sure Richard Schaefer can negotiate a good deal for Casimero.

It makes sense. To unlock a much better paycheck for Casimero's future fight, he needs to finish the business with Inoue. But prior to that, he needs to deal with Butler first. Obviously, it's hard to think that Inoue vs Casimero will be a 50/50 fight. Inoue's camp won't allow that to happen because of Japan's monster current status.

Who has the information about their split before their supposed fight was cancelled? As we all know, they have a scheduled fight last year, April 26, 2020, but due to the effect of the pandemic, that was permanently cancelled.
2905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Country restriction and use of vpn or tor on: November 06, 2021, 06:14:47 AM
For me, using a VPN is not a solution to be able to play at the casino. I would prefer to use a casino that doesn't really need to use a VPN. Perhaps because many of the gamblers have paid attention to gamblers not to force gambling on sites that access them using a VPN. just because of the country where I live and insist on using a VPN then I will leave. Except when we are required to register at the casino to receive a certain reward from the tasks I do. So like it or not, I have to take advantage of it.

Honestly, even a gambling site allows the use of a VPN, some of its users still use VPN instead of their direct ISP connection. That's because there are lots of reasons why users prefer that way.

For what are those reasons, only them knows.

So let's put it this way if a gambling site is not allowing the use of a VPN or TOR network, obviously don't violate it. If they allowed it, then we are good to go.
2906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 06, 2021, 05:40:56 AM
I think it's time for the Lakers to make a hard decision for the good of the team.

What do you say about this idea?

What's the possibility of this from happening?

Hard decision for what? It's not that they are at the bottom right now. They just need to continue moving forward. How many games are played today by most teams? Around 10 games at most. We can't conclude right away that the Lakers are trash. As I said before, it's always a big headline when Lakers are losing but silent when they are winning.

That trade scenario you have shared is not possible to happen. No need for a trade. It should only apply to Kyrie Irving as he stands strong to his own beliefs lol.

Yeah, but the first day that Lebron is out, they totally messed it up, Lol. What's more in the incoming games.

They really need to get their acts together now, Westbrook and AD I think should be the one carry the Lakers for now and then Carmelo continue his good game since his days with Portland.

Actually, they are carrying the team. They are not always in a rally mode. The problem is maintaining the lead. OKC got them again for the 2nd time. But that scenario won't always be the scenario for the Lakers. Let's wait for more games. The starters have a good contribution to that game although they lose.

It's a problem if, at the whole game, they are always behind. But let's not talk just about the Lakers. We must also look at the effort made by the OKC to win in that game. Kudos to their big-time rally.
2907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: November 06, 2021, 04:59:21 AM
They hated with each other whatever the outcome of the match I don't think these two will shake hands and both fighters can only accept wins they will not settle for a loss, I'm sure both fighters don't want to end the war in the judges' hands and will see to it that it will end a knockout, just like what we've seen in the Wilder-Fury fight, I hope it will live to the hype.

Since they are both expected to be on rampage mode, especially on the part of Canelo, I hope that won't have an effect on their fighting strategy. The more the boxer is pissed off, the more the concentration will be lessened as they are overwhelmed by their revenge. It's good to be aggressive but should be in control and not just to have a goal to crash down the opponent at any cost.

Well, these boxers are both experienced ones. I'm sure they will fight professionally as a boxer and not because they need to revenge something.
2908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NO KYC Sportbooks? on: November 06, 2021, 04:39:44 AM
At some point, these casinos will apply KYC if they see that there's necessity of the situation.
For example, if the player is gearing towards violating one of their terms or they are suspecting something unusual to the account.
But if you know for sure, you are abiding all the terms, and not a high roller, I don't think submitting KYC will be your problem here.
But take note that if you win big, prepare your docs because the casino may find a way how to hold your funds.

As expected especially for those users who are using constantly VPN to connect. There are sites that allow the use of VPN however if the account was detected thru a different region it might trigger the site's alarm.

For big wins, it's already common and usual to see that some sites are asking for personal documents before claiming these big winnings. For that particular reason, I will not hesitate to provide my own documents. It's sure money in return after all if the process will go smoothly.
2909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: November 06, 2021, 02:13:52 AM
Some can't avoid using fiat because for example if they are using their credit/debit card, so in this case, their identity is already submitted to the casino.

Actually even without linking users' debit or credit cards, personal information was already submitted as most fiat casinos are centralized and KYC is mandatory there. However, the convenience is there as it just needs 1 click for deposits. Fast and quick with cheap fees. However, that method can't only be applied to those cardholders. Unlike in crypto gambling sites, that even at a young age, they can access the gambling site with no problems that's why there are other threads concerning young ones being exposed to gambling at an early age.

Overall, self-preference is what we should follow. There are lots of advantages and disadvantages to both fiat and crypto sportsbooks. Choose if what we think we are comfortable using as in the first place, we are paying in return for convenience.
2910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game do you prefer in gambling? on: November 06, 2021, 02:07:48 AM
I'm currently betting only on sports games, and the reason is simple....
I love football, and betting on it gives me more control over the bets I make, as I'm not just relying on luck to win something.

Unfortunately, the profit margins for these games are very small, but I'm just betting on the fun, so that's fine with me.

Not aware of how betting odds are done in football as I'm more of basketball but I'm curious about the meaning of profit margins for football is small?

In general, football is the most popular sport in the world and with that status, it has the largest betting market I believed in sports betting whether in fiat or crypto sports betting sites or crypto.

What does it mean by football having a small profit margin?
2911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one are You ? on: November 06, 2021, 01:37:42 AM

As you pointed out, Serious Social Gamblers rely on gambling for life. And it can make positive as well as negative impacts on life. Therefore, those who are positive can now be considered Professional gamblers since these gamblers rely on gambling. They are far more professional than anyone.
They're not professional, because they don't have the patience and they don't have the stand about the limits on spending. In simple terms they don't have self control in gambling. Out of luck they make the win. Some used to turn themselves to be professional later through regular practice with control.

You are confusing me. It's clear in the first post that you have mentioned Serious Social Gamblers are bound to become positive and negative. Therefore, we can conclude that those who are positive can consider as professional gamblers since while they rely on gambling they are still in their proper state.

I'm talking about those who are on the positive side. How come they also don't have control?

They're professionally skilled, and there mind isn't prepared to accept loss. That's the reason why they're getting into illegal ways to win. These days it is very rare to do such cheats and tricks. Only in movies it is possible. Cheesy

You are again confused me.

Let's go back to your definition:

Personality Gamblers - This is the worst among the different types, because the aim is to make money. Important thing, they never think of anything. They do cheats, lies, do all illegal things to win in the gambling. They wish to be on the top.

They do cheats but you claimed they are professionally skilled?

What's the connection of being skilled that's why they are getting into illegal ways to win?
2912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 05, 2021, 11:52:24 PM
You guys believe too much in Mike. All your predictions are based on his past achievements. His last real fight was 16 years ago and only one exhibition fight last year. I dont think that Mike trains daily all these 16 years. While Logan Paul as much younger, was into sports at least 1-4 years. I think he spends way more time in gym than Mike in last years. I am not trying to say that he will win, but he wont look pathetic or like a total newbie in the ring. Mike Tysons chances to win are not 99%.

Age is no question to Mike if he's against Logan Paul. Maybe I will agree with you if he's up on another boxer, a real boxer at his profession.

Mike Tyson is still doing his regular training. He is in his shape with no injuries or health issues. That alone is enough to crashed an inexperienced boxer that is not actually considered a boxer for many.

But unfortunately, we won't see the real result since the match is an exhibition match. No one will put 100% performance here.
2913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Country restriction and use of vpn or tor on: November 05, 2021, 11:25:04 PM
I just want to know if using a vpn or tor is something that can violate the TOS even though a gambler has been betting on the site for a long time?

No excuses. If there's a term about using VPN is prohibited, that was violating a Terms of Service. In the case a gambler is betting on it for a long time and has not detected yet that the user is using a VPN, then the site is free to use by them until noticed.

In the event they got detected, being a long-time gambler on that site can't be applied.
2914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 05, 2021, 11:18:38 PM
Those are great shooters but I would put up Durant higher than Dirk and Allen. No disrespect to the previous two but I think KD is as good as Steph. The latter just made a lot of crazier shots.

Maybe at the end of the season, I will agree with you since Kevin Durant is still playing and working on his stat sheets. We didn't see the whole Kevin Durant for now. Right now, he is nowhere in the level of Dirk Nowitzki and Ray Allen in terms of stat sheets because obviously, these 2 greats are now done in career. I follow Dirk Nowitzki since 2003 and his shooting is really crazy. The elevation of his shot is unique. He was one of the dangerous threats at any team since in his shooting form, the ball was well protected. With Durant's height, he can also do the same and we witnessed that during their Eastern Conference Finals with the Milwaukee Bucks where he always nailed a shot when Tucker is guarding him.

Also, you pointed out that Personality Gamblers are the worst among the different types because the aim is to make money.? Disagree. Cheats, lies? How come that will be effective along the way? Not all the time they can cheats as it was impossible but still, they can profit. I also considered them as professional gamblers.

I don't know what tier I'm in. I always do gamble so maybe I will put myself on the experienced ones.
2916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 05, 2021, 10:59:10 PM
It's a win-win for both teams IMO, why would the Phoenix keep Manuel if there's no improvement of the team. Look, they are better without Manuel and even before Calvin joined the team, Phoenix is already competing well, so I guess having two legit big men, Perkins and Chua are already good for the team, at least they can operate more as they don't have other players given the same minutes they get with the same position.

Actually, it's not that Phoenix is better without Vic Manuel but rather, the team doesn't really utilize and use him on his best because maybe of injury or still not in his usual shape. He is playing below his average on Phoenix in the last conference but on the bright side, still a good stats despite not being at 100%.

Regarding the trade, both teams win on that trade. On the NorthPort side, if Slaughter won't be traded, as he's part of the trading rumors, looking forward to their big man tandem with Vic Manuel.

Going back to the topic Grin we are all waiting for the next conference and we are excited to see if how good those imports from different teams, how they will help in chasing for the title. Roll Eyes

According to Harizen, the new conference is likely to start this month, so be more patient as we will eventually witness a conference where imports could finally play. Of course, this is different from the all Filipino cup as it will be more exciting with more production from the imports, probably more high scoring games as these imports could put up good numbers every game.

Actually, I refer to how conferences are structured in the PBA.

The usual is, for every fresh start, All-Filipino is the starting conference every year. Since they are planning to have an import, the next conference should be this month or next, as it should happen this year. March is the usual restart of PBA so they still have time for the import conference this year that can last up to 2 months if games will be played mostly at triple headers and every day like they did the last conference.
2917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start somewhere on: November 05, 2021, 10:27:35 PM
Starting point is a big challenge when it comes to Investment. There are people who find it difficult to start up an investment because what they have is not large. Start your investment with the little you have it will go a long way.

Expectations to have something big to start maybe delayed. Do you know what point you would have reached if you had started with the little which you afford?

Unless an investor won't start their actual investment, there's no way we will know what will be the result.

As far as they are now sure that everything is well-prepared and aware of all the associated risks that they will face and encounter on the way, then I believed that was now good to start.

There's no way an investment won't have any challenges and difficulties while in progress. That's part of the game.
2918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't lose your profit unnecessarily on: November 05, 2021, 10:22:50 PM
As newbie I have not bothered about the profit that I have missed taking out just because that I believe another profit will fill up for me. I have been on this for some time but with my growing knowledge in the trading business, I now seeing it differently that the profit I didn't take was gone and another profit that got filled is a different profit entirely which means I may have been made more of profit in the account and lesser losses. Lately therefore I take profit as it comes and this has worked for my trading experience. It is not scalping if you see your profit going down the pit.

It's fine. You don't have to worry about that. You take profits because you are now in profits and so on. Don't regret your action but rather do some preparations again for another buying or selling rounds. There's no perfect strategy in the first place so just move forward rather than be distracted because you believed something is not right.

While you progress, you will eventually learn how to cope up with the situation. Just "trust the process".
2919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best way to traiding on: November 05, 2021, 10:15:30 PM
Certainly
But what do you think of the platform BITMEX

By asking that question, what do you actually mean?

Like if that platform is legit? Yes, it's legit.

i start to learn

but i open trade so fast
and make small win like 100 usd

i think it is not bad as beginner

Then good. Just follow what you did and do some modifications on your strategy, if necessary, on the way.

Actually, a $100 win isn't a small win to consider. I just hope that was thru trades and not by holding.

Hi guys do you think TALK token good to invest at 2 sat ? and do you think TALK can exceed 10 sat ?
by the way for those who don't know about TALK it's cryptotalk forum official token and it's used to pay
their members currently they only paying fot russian section

https://yobit.io/en/trade/TALK/BTC
https://yobit.net/en/trade/TALK/BTC

Not a good investment. For let's say I will disregard the status of Yobit exchanges to the community, the market of that coin will only be limited to the Yobit exchange. No way it will be listed on other exchanges. I can't see how it will establish a good volume.

I will also disregard that you are shilling the token but my advice is, that token is not worth it to invest.

If you still want to pursue it, your decision.
