2901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 26, 2020, 05:07:17 PM
Completely agree, what's the reason of paying taxes if they can't help people.

That is a very weak argument and you know it. The government can't send freebies to everyone. Those who are on top of the priority list will get the first preference. And you need to remember that the global economies are under severe recession. The government revenues are down, and there is a limit to what they can do here. And also, they need to spend a lot of their funds to keep the pandemic in check.
At some point you are correct but also bear in mind that the government especially democratic ones are being ruled by its people, not their personal stuffs or some sort of it. I don't see anything wrong from people seeking government's help at all, in fact that is their job to keep these people alive most especially in times like this. I get it, government's revenue is down since no one's working for them but every country has its asset, stocked and owned so they can easily sell it to some private individuals. But if the virus continue for 8 months, that's the time that every one should be hustlin' in legal ways at least.
2902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can we do to minimise the risk in trading on: April 25, 2020, 04:42:30 PM
I think we can narrow this down if we can control greed and exploit the benefits. however, when you get a profit, you can immediately sell your assets. it is the best way to avoid the risk of trading. the smaller the profit we take, the less risk we face.
It is about having trailing stop ir target profit in order for us to protect our gain and not let the greed to control ourselves. Greed is the reason why some of our gains are becoming losses because we are not able to protect it. We can minimize the risks if we have a plan where we can protect our capital and of course if we have gains. The risks are high in trading and we should be aware of that, we can handle it very well if we know what we are doing.l where we have efficient and effective plan.
Greed, is indeed what will keep you broke. I admire those exchanges that has a stop loss button setting for their traders, it really feels like they care for every one and knows that the greatest enemy of a trader is not the market but the greed that lies on them. Trading cryptocurrency is risky, as we all know the volatility rate is very high, it could jump from hundred bucks up and down, or thousands of bucks in an hour. Minimizing risk is not that quite easy thing to do, it requires more of discipline and less of greed or none at all.
2903  Economy / Economics / Re: Net worths if Bitcoin reaches $100,000 on: April 25, 2020, 03:59:38 PM
...
So whatever the whales are held in large numbers they can control the market but some still want to be obsessed with even higher increases.

It is these whales that swing the price of bitcoin in different directions, providing themselves with additional profit. And for them, the current price of BTC does not matter. Although I understand that the higher the market value of bitcoin, the more income they will receive, because the price fluctuations will increase.
Well we don't really know that stuff specifically, but if it turns out that whales are doing these things then we don't have to care at them at all since that is what they need to do, as if, if you're one of them you won't do the same would not you? What you need to care the most is yourself, the whole network is decentralized don't assume things like this, the market will move because of the speculation not just because of the whales, the ocean is too big for the whales.

....That's the rank in terms of all the richest people in the world, not just the richest bitcoin holders. Jeff Bezos is number one with a net worth somewhere around $110 billion.

The state of Jeff Bezos has recently increased significantly and according to Forbes on April 25 is $145 billion. https://www.forbes.com/profile/jeff-bezos/#2fc918cd1b23
Rich getting richer, and us getting smarter don't let the money fool your eyes. Jeff Bezos is really a fan of crypto, he knows what to do with it.
2904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: April 25, 2020, 01:52:08 PM
Not all gamblers will damage his health, even at that time I lived in a gambling environment until no day I passed without gambling because every day I always gamble, but at the same time I still have a good self-awareness there. Well, I gamble and I live in a gambling environment with various characteristics of many people who are like drunks, even those who date a lot of women I know them, but when we are able to stay in control and still have thoughts or mindsets for the long term, then at least we will avoid anything that can damage health.
Sometimes I think gambling is not that even addictive, you know when people keep on gambling it's either he wants to win, entertain himself or trying to get what he have lost. For those people who have self diagnosed themselves an gambling addict does not mean that much. Gambling everyday is not considered as an addiction, maybe it's just a part of daily routine? But I'm for sure those people who skip meals, getting not enough sleep because of gambling and those are indebted to others due to gambling is a real addicted to it.
2905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: April 25, 2020, 01:12:25 PM
I am already here before I can join a campaign, so I am not, I just love to gamble and I'm just happy I'll be able to monetize my time here when I am active. I'm not active all the time but behind that I can say I am spending a lot of time enjoying in gambling.

people with real experience in gambling will be able to easily communicate in this section, and I feel I'm doing it.
Same, but I got attracted to online gambling ever since I was able to join some campaigns because I'm a gambler in real life.  Well maybe some people here is just taking a glance, contribute just enough for the sake of their campaign so they are not going to catch some of our point when talking about gambling. Personally, as a gambler in real life I find online gambling more sophisticated, imagine you don't know who is your contender, maybe a gambling addict and that makes gambling more even fun.

2907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: April 23, 2020, 03:56:45 PM
I am now inclined to know about this markets as well as their affiliates, I wonder which sites has this both and even enables gambling players to join their affiliate programs, because in my current camoaign thry don't allow players to be part of the affiliates. Though sometime before, and was mentioned by Bitiny, it was allowed until an update has come and deletes their accounts. LoL
It's pretty uncommon for the markets to be affiliated with the gambling sites, it is just a commercial that has nothing to do with gambling but if there is one that I can tell that have any connection to gambling that is popping out on the side of your screen then it will always about lectures on how to be a good player despite the game you are playing on. For you guys it might look attractive for you if you are interested, but  Honestly I don't want to recommend hitting those links.
2908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Analyst: "Covid-19 Could Spur More States to Legalize Online Casino" on: April 23, 2020, 03:30:55 PM
Don't know about governments asking it's people to gamble but people would certainly be much more attracted to online gambling in such circumstances. There are no clear future and people have very less thing to keep them entertained. Both of which makes gambling less risky and preferable.
For those people who want to save time on traveling for example a 10 kilometer distance from home to physical casino, then they might consider online gambling rather than going everyday for 10 kilometer travel distance. But for people who does want a real casino experience, those who are motivated with such noise in the casino, any distance is not a problem. However in times like this? Online gambling is booming due to the fact that we are in a state of lock down or quarantine, so I guess the only left choice if you want to gamble is the online.
2909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: April 23, 2020, 02:53:30 PM
for me being a gambler is not a bad reputation and should not be for anyone else if it is not an addiction, indeed I am proud to be a decent player...
You sure you would like it when your friends start mocking you during a group chat or discussion that ""Eh, that guy is making loads gambling on horses and poker, you heard?" You may like that publicity and some people are able to humor it out but honestly when you are in a decent company you would not want these things to be heard or known of, specially if you have a family and children and have an ambition in life to reach something good.
Well for me it's not a big deal to your reputation when you are gambling or being called a gambler. It's not the other people's business when you are gambling, when you are entertaining yourself with your hard earned money. What's bad to your reputation is having a debt to a casino, physical casino and you got your things as your collateral then it expires causing a lot of financial stumble. That is what I think will ruin your reputation as whoever you are.

Of course you are free to use your money in any way you want, it is your money after all. But humans have a bad habit of judging people based on what they are doing. It is not a wrong thing to do but you have to deal with it.
If you keep thinking of what others do think of you then you'll end up nothing you will just stuck there like a nailed piece of wood. Go do what you want without harming anyone, we have freedom for ourselves.
2910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: April 23, 2020, 01:54:41 PM
I really hope the pandemic does not mean the end of sports. It's a beautiful type of entertainment and if that ends, it's gonna be pretty disappointing and sad for me. While I'm not a fanboy of any of them, I do have respect for any athlete and always enjoy watching them if a friend or relative of mine wants to.
Man I'm a huge fan of NBA and it really sucks that it's been a month I haven't watch my favorite players play inside the court. And, yeah me too, wishing that this pandemic stop asap and doctors will get us the vaccine and cure for the disease. I don't want betting on people playing NBA on their ps4s, but I'm sure this is not the end of the sports.

If all these championships/leagues/matches will continue to get delayed, I guess the addicted ones will slowly try to expand their gambling coverage and move towards e-sports. They're the closest you can get to the feeling of a real sport betting experience. Otherwise, there's nothing you can do other than bet on matches being played in countries that still haven't been put under lockdown.
The best sports to watch now is the e-sports, however there are also some problems like the internet connection which we have differently every country. And also the Olympics that suppose to be happening this year is cancelled, so I think if the the quarantine ends we'll be bombarded by sports events on our TVs.
2911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Negative in Value? on: April 22, 2020, 07:55:55 PM
You are just becoming sensitive to this kind of topic when crude oil and bitcoin is a different kind of thing to each other. Have you ever seen a currency that became negative in value? of course never. When Bitcoin will be banned in the whole world, there will be some kind of association that will accept it. As you can see right now, Bitcoin is going strong amidst this pandemic and that is one of the reasons why your speculation is never going to happen at all.
The OP is maybe confuse and wondering if the same price crash is going to happen with bitcoin, I must say that bitcoin could also be looking that way as what the crude industry looks like but it won't be in zero.
Aside if you seen bitcoin at $100 would not you buy it? lol everyone is dreaming bitcoin to be at the price as if it was back in the humble beginnings of bitcoin, probably around a hundred of bucks. Pandemic is hitting us hard now you can actually see it with the markets, but crypto is at the position of taking off for upcoming halving and I think this pandemic is not going to be a huge problem until the halving is over.
2912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Stop Loss in day trading? on: April 22, 2020, 07:25:15 PM
For day traders, the stop loss should be tight in order to manage the risks very well. For me the ideal invalidation level or the stop loss level will be -4%. If our bias didn't happen then it is better to cut our loss immediately in order to protect our capital. Having a stop loss is not required but it is important especially if you want to be a better trader. Discipline can build by following our stop loss so it is really important to have stop loss because it is part of our risks and management.
Stop loss should be in line with the risk, you don't need a tight stop loss with just single % of risk, that is very futile in the eye. Stop loss is what we really need now, especially when trading futures where you can get winning more than what you risk or lost what you have, stop loss is playing a lead role in minimizing the risk best for losing your funds. Just a suggestion, make a tight stop loss during these days as I see the probable risk due to misbehaving market right now, you'll never know what could happen next.
2913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Analyst: "Covid-19 Could Spur More States to Legalize Online Casino" on: April 22, 2020, 04:41:07 PM
I don't think that this will make some governments legalize online gambling. Well, this situation actually gives an opportunity for online gambling to get recognized but it doesn't mean that they will legalize it. It's just that more gamblers shifted to online because they have no choice, and this is their only option if they badly want to gamble. It's still hard for the government to monitor every action of online casinos than the traditional one. More illegal gambling activities can happen.
Pretty good observation, why would people going to put online casino in talks amidst the global pandemic? First and foremost, online gambling is just an alternative for real time gambling, it does not contain any difference between real time gambling but only the fact that you are playing comfortably any where. Aside, every government now is focusing on what matters the most now since we are having a huge problem.

And if ever, it does not mean that online will replace a traditional one because there are still a lot of gamblers who prefer physical casinos. I think after this pandemic and virus issue, gamblers will be back going to casinos.
Absolutely, the experience on both casinos is different and most of people will really choose the physical casinos over online casinos.
2914  Economy / Economics / Re: The drying oil on: April 22, 2020, 03:47:49 PM
I think that falling oil prices have the following reasons. First, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, many countries restrict people from leaving their homes. Therefore, the world demand for gasoline dropped sharply.
Well it is very obvious, from all of the markets falling now the only thing that caused it is the virus, almost everything that is happening now is actually because of the covid-19.

Second, the oil producing countries cannot close their oil production companies because the cost to close the companies and open the companiest after the epidemic is over is huge. So they chose the solution that produces oil as always. Therefore, the amount of oil in the storage is very large. So I think these are the main reasons for the significant drop in oil prices.
There is only significant in the oil price, not in the demand therefore it has nothing to do with the oil price at all. So what if the price hits the ground? If no one will buy it or sell it right now it should be fine. And some of you guys might wonder why is the current price of oil or gas right now have not change yet, simply because it was not from the price were they bought it, in short they were stock.
2915  Other / Off-topic / Re: My 14 year old son bought Bitcoin on: April 22, 2020, 02:58:19 PM
He’s mining bitcoin? I’m struggling to believe that, sorry. Mining these days requires expensive rigs & electricity bills are not cheap. It’s borderline unprofitable for solo miners these days.
A 14 year old miner? Or does he mean 14 year old faucet user? the OP is obviously unaware of these things.

Edit - A quick scroll through your post history shows you potentially try to scam people so I’m not sure what your plan is making this thread.
Your profile also says you’re 30, that’s pretty young to have a 14 year old som.
Maybe he is not that too serious when putting his personal info while signing up, even in this forum I don't really want for you guys to know my birthday. But the fact that he didn't explained anything about that stuff looks very suspicious to me.

And for the kid, if it is true that he has this eagerness to program codes then might as well the OP should support him, the demand for computer related courses will drastically increase soon.
2916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig W. only claims to be Satoshi, because he knows the real Satoshi is dead? on: April 22, 2020, 01:20:34 PM
He just knows most about BitCoin.
Nobody else ever disputed him on this matter.
Why?
In fact Wright has shown extremely profound technical ignorance about Bitcoin, but he says that what he is saying is brilliant. Because you, yourself, are incapable of directly evaluating his claims you make the mistake of believing him and other similarly uninformed persons.

Of course, not absolutely everything he says is untrue or gibberish-- some things he just copies out of the bitcoin wiki or old posts and chatlogs.
If you guys are watching him for a long time, you should what he is doing with us, he keep on claiming that he is the creator of bitcoin then he spit some negativity to it, from that phase you should have know what he is trying to do with your mind. He is just setting your mind to hate him and love more bitcoin, and from that you guys will have the courage to invest more in bitcoin on which he privately holds a lot of it. Craig is a smart person, he would not be this too low if he does not want something in exchange.
2917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $3 billion in 'dust' to enter the market will push the bull run past the halving on: April 21, 2020, 07:56:17 PM
$3 billion is a pretty small figure IMO to cause a substantial bull run of astronomical proportions. Perhaps it will cause a small bump but that's just about it, afterwards it will be eaten by the sell orders trying to make out some nice profits especially those who bought @ $4000. If these people are really in it to make money, they would have done so earlier and not when the market clearly is stable and is going up. Timing is everything, and theirs in this instance is shit.
I agree, $3 billion is a huge amount of money but it won't a lot when injected. Bitcoins market capitalization is about $120 billion, you would not even notice if you take out the $3 billion. However, if injecting $3 billion to the market and interpreted by most of us as the start of bull run then it might be a trigger to let it happen, you know the market's core is speculation so it's not impossible to happen.

I wonder if they would really be ballsy to go all-in on cryptocurrencies amid the pandemic.. Well, it certainly wouldn't go to stocks or kept in cash either, so it's this market that they're going to disturb.
Why not? I mean we have seen crashes after crashes of all type of markets, stock, oil and cryptocurrency but the crypto market is the only looking good as of now, on top of that is the fact that crypto is an alternative solution for fiat which we know these days that is very dangerous due to the virus.
2918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just think privacy is more important with financials. on: April 21, 2020, 07:11:56 PM
Government is able to know the transactions you make when you’re making use of an exchange that is centralized. Centralized exchanges always make reports to the government, but decentralized exchanges has nothing to do with the government and they can never tell what’s happening on decentralized exchanges because they have no access to it and does not control it.
That's a fact. Centralized exchanges are submitting to government's demand when it comes to data reading but you don't have to worry if you have nothing to hind or something suspicious linked with your addresses. This is also why I use decentralized to sell my coins or trade because of the privacy I need although I have nothing to hide from anyone I just feel it very comfortable that no one sees what am I doing with my money.

So, if you don’t want the activities you’re into in the crypto community to be known by the government, it would be best that you start making use of decentralized exchanges, if not, then you’re still exposed to them by using centralized ones.
Yeah, also be aware of some decentralized exchanges some of them is under also centralized system where government look for data, much safer with complete decentralized exchanges.
2919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another crypto youtuber given a ban for breach of terms of service. on: April 21, 2020, 05:51:47 PM
Why does Youtube do this? After all, it is obvious that this will only lead to dissatisfaction with the crypto community
I still don't know how youtube is handling this kind of stuff, I mean I don't know how they are probing with these channels and they find out that their contents are commercially deceptive or scamming in a way when these content creators are only saying what they have in their mind ,more likely their opinion and views towards the market. And yes, with this kind of news it will impact the market and the image of crypto will be at large. We'll be having a huge problem if this continue or if youtube really finds out that there is something wrong, at least with submission to legal terms, then it would be a huge blast for crypto.
2920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Share] Biggest wins in online Casinos on: April 21, 2020, 05:24:47 PM
snipped-
It is not Inspiration mate but it is something like Lust or desire because of big winnings.
I tend to agree with you, that might the possible reason the desire of big winnings and there are few gamblers still hoping for the instant millionaire. Yeah, probably people may win jackpot prize up to millions of dollars or whatever currency but not everyone may have the same luck and faith as those people who are on the list of the top winners. They are really fortunate but come to think of it where are they now?
For some gamblers, the jackpot prize is the very purpose of why they are playing simply because they want to get it and become rich however there are also gamblers that is playing not because of the jackpot prize, they know they might or might not have it, they are just playing for the sake of entertainment if they win, they win and if they lose, they lose. I'm not going to be bitter to say that people who won the jackpot but broke as early as they have it really sucks, I hope they got it good with a purpose and I wish they have it until now.

Let us think if these people are still on gambling right now do they still win or they have lost the jackpot prize they already have won. Like us who never won big prizes as they did, we may some up all the amount that we spent in gambling and the total amount that we have won may just be even. Maybe before they will hit the jackpot prize, they spent a lot of their money.
Yeah, those who are playing for a long time trying to get the jackpot prize may spent more than what they have get from the jackpot, but the moment you get it there is a precious moment that you will cherish to your life and any gambler knows what's the feeling to win.
