Shitshow canceled the face off of the fighters lol

It was said that it was because of Tiki standing behind Khamzat. Tiki Ghosn is said to be the manager of some fighters in the team of Nate and they were calling Tiki to be a traitor. Dana was booed by the audience at the conference lol here are some details https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiElLoyz0bY

If it weren't stopped, there could be a riot.
2902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Queen Elizabeth and Cryptocurrency on: September 09, 2022, 01:24:44 AM

She is 96. She had seen a lot of sufferings in her time. I guess she's lucky enough not to see more of the sufferings that are to come. RIP Queen Elizabeth.

But damn!  Anything can be monetized these days with meme tokens even the death of the Queen.
If  blockchain was already alive when Micheal Jackson died, the internet will be full of meme coins already with his image doing the moonwalk. It was sort of a debate during that time when Micheal's death was monetized by spreading articles about the controversial death.
2903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 09, 2022, 12:51:58 AM
And if not mistaken, Dana White doesn't want his UFC fighters like Conor to do one boxing exhibition because of this reasons. But they are making good money so I guess they will continue to do business with Floyd and the Paul brothers.
No doubt that they'll continue even if Dana White says so.

There's a huge money that's being involved and they might have been offered with an amount that's hard to decline. Just like any other athlete, when is being offered with good compensation and talent fee, they won't think twice but will grab the offer.

The Paul brothers did discovered this niche that will make them and their opponents big money.

Dana is losing contracts as more fighters actually get off from Dana's control. Nate Diaz also was to fight against Jake but of course, Dana didn't like the idea and the contract also does not allow UFC fighters to have another event involving his fighters.

Unfortunately, UFC fighters losing against Jake embarrasses UFC. It would mean this combat sport is not really as ULTIMATE as it may sound if that is the case.

2904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Merge will change Ethereum blockchain consensus on: September 09, 2022, 12:43:57 AM

Real Vision founder Raoul Pal somehow believes ETH will outrank BTC in the next bull market. It's quite a shill if you ask the BTC maximalist but with the money coming from the macro environment, ETH believers think it has some grain of truth to it.

Gradually, congress right now seems part of suppressing BTC through the Bitcoin mining ban already, with this law I personally think there will be miners who might lay off.

2905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 09, 2022, 12:37:39 AM
Oh, I missed this ^^ but I don't our vote here would translate to money where the odds would be almost even because at the end of the day Canelo would still be the heavy favorite to win this match at the bookies.

I think everyone knows here that Canelo really has the upper edge in this fight against GGG but still hoping that the latter will the fight. I'm siding with GGG her also and want to put some money on him not because I'm his fan but rather just want to see Canelo losing again.

For me, Canelo losing this match will fuel him more to be a better fighter. If he was beaten by an old GGG, that will be disrespectful to him. That will turn him into a much more serious boxer and will do his best to rise up. He is still young and has lots of time to climb to the top.

Canelo is a serious fighter. He won the previous fight and he is younger. The votes are just votes, it's what they do in the ring that counts. Obviously, Canelo has more power over GG when it comes to advantages.

By the looks of its odds, the Stake agrees to this consensus. Betting for Alvarez, Saul By KO 2.80, seem enough reason to bet for him.

Alvarez, Saul 1.17
Golovkin, Gennady 4.90

2906  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a reliable store of value - what’s a reliable store of value for you? on: September 08, 2022, 02:55:10 AM

Artwork is really a fascinating store of value that can increase dramatically, especially if from a known artist. An artwork once displayed or auctioned by Sotheby's, price rockets in the next auction. Not everyone can afford this one though.

If diversification is to be considered, I will still be going for BTC and gold as it's still affordable. They are not just a store of value but an asset to keep.
2907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat Banks Conspiracy Against Customers. Bitcoin is the Best Option on: September 08, 2022, 02:31:52 AM
You will own nothing & be happy’
Klaus Schwab

You are controlled & stolen from every year via inflation. Sure we need fiat for every day purchases in most countries but that will lessen & lessen. Bitcoin is here to stay, deflationary & decentralised. Take control of your own finance & self custody.

"You will own nothing and still be happy" that quote is one of the nonsense I hear from rich people.
They want to take everything and turn you into a slave, is what it means to own nothing.

I don't understand how naive someone can be to fall for that.

It actually makes sense for Klaus especially since they aim to control the activity of people. Just imagine your phone to be a service where you just rent a phone that you have to pay monthly bills for it. Having a phone as a subscription type of service will be good for the economy since you will therefore continue to pay. You own no phone as it's not your phone you are just subscribing to the service. Of course, we don't like that.

Same with banks handing your money to them means you don't own the money and yet you also pay to keep your money. Congrats to Klaus Schwab for coming up with the dumbest idea of all.

2908  Economy / Economics / Re: 'We don’t have enough' lithium globally to meet EV targets, mining CEO says on: September 08, 2022, 01:48:02 AM
are you suggesting that the US might find a reason to invade Afghanistan again in order to pillage their lithium?

Other countries in the region, like china. Have a friendly relationship with afghanistan which could allow them to tap rare earth minerals present.

China controls a high percentage of rare earth minerals globally. Which also makes them well suited to the task.

Estimates and projections however might not factor those elements in.

How friendly China and Afghanistan by the way? Because if they are close like with Putin then China will have it all if invading Taiwan will be uncontested. But it's just wrong to push EVs to everyone now the fact that it's expensive while you have a limited place to go.

I don't really see why they chose to develop EVs when they could make hydro-powered cars and US will not have to go to Afghanistan again. The downside, however, is that South America which has unlimited water thru the Amazon river will be more developed same as the countries along Congo river. They'd be the front of the new world order.

As much as I'd like to see it, I think Whittaker takes that pretty easily. I imagine he goes with the similar approach Izzy did. Obviously, Costa should've learned something from that fight so maybe he'll have an answer for it this time. Since, with Izzy he pretty much froze, and then received a beat down. Unfortunately, Izzy has made that into a joke now, which isn't very funny, but I imagine has Costa seething at the teeth.

Costa has the skills, and framework to become a real problem he just needs to throw some of that mass around, and go for the take downs more in my opinion. Anyway, I'm going to try, and get my predictions out early tomorrow.

Good matches worth betting on the main cards really. Something that will make you spend thinking about who could possibly win.

Li Jingliang    vs.   Tony Ferguson   - This is almost risk-free like Khamzat vs Nate. But who knows I will regret doubting Tony and Nate.
Kevin Holland vs.   Daniel Rodriguez
Johnny Walker vs.   Ion Cutelaba

2910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: September 08, 2022, 12:34:28 AM
it's finally official.

okay, I am interested in watching this(not paying for PPV of course) because I am curious how Anderson Silva will fare against his younger opponent. also, I'd like to see how the guy who won against Julio Chaves jr( a boxer with a good boxing record) fights again.

anyway, I haven't read much about this fight, is this fight going to be another exhibition match or an official fight?

Probably not an exhibition. Jake was knocking MMA guys including Askren. If knocking down terribly is a possibility, you can't call it a fixed fight.

They are both big men and one is younger and very competent as well. They could both knock out each other, it's just who could project a timed hit that could outbalance the other. If this is a poll, I think Jake will get more votes.
2911  Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekly RSI leaving oversold conditions on: September 07, 2022, 03:42:07 AM
This plunge I think is more related to the fundamental news we see today with the war getting more brutal when it comes to sanctions which Russia had retaliated thru the gas pipe. I'm not sure if we can use the technical analysis anymore for this. If it breaks that last support on $17K, I'm not hoping it will happen but there is a possibility for $14k.

Whether related to "fundamental news" or not, the technical analysis not only suggested the likelihood of this exact this scenario, but it also happened: a drop to around $18K to $19K depending on how you measure the move of the descending triangle. I've never understood the concept of not being able to use technical analysis, as regardless of the news, this was the most likely scenario at play.

The only times I do find "fundamental news" relevant is when TA suggests the likelihood of a scenario happening, and instead the opposite occurs, then it can be attributed more to such a news event. Given that (imo) there are enough TA & fundamental factors to confirm the low is already in at $17.5K, if price breaks below this, then it'd be fair to attribute to the macro climate. Especially if a bear trap low occurs.

I don't mean to sound rude or disregard your argument, but merely that one doesn't need to follow the news to see what was most likely to happen in this case, or attribute the news to such predictable price movements.

Definitely, we need the TA to look at where the market could possibly go.  We tend to play this game to make money. Just like you, we trade oftentimes when there is an opportunity.

This is a monthly chart where RSI had not yet bottomed. We might be able to see this likely going to happen because of the panic due to the economy falling down actually and we are still early in this winter.

There is no way out of this if the economy is not rolling especially if this war prolongs. We can already see people burning thier electricity bill and demand not to pay their taxes. Looks like an apocalyptic scenario as they protest on the streets.
2913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million on: September 07, 2022, 01:29:29 AM
Go big or go home, if you are going to spend money on lawyers to sue then you arent likely to go for anything but the maximum amount possible.   The merits of the case, whether there is any slight chance of its success is not known to us.   Its even possible the lawsuit is just intimidate and cast bad publicity, in hope of a far larger cease fee; thats not a new trick.   We cant tell, Im not legally educated to decide so its just wait and see.

Assuming he was the one who have the plans to create the casino and all of its plans. What would that give him if he was out already while the two develop the casino? Its not like he patented it. Heck, the two could create something else and still be claimed by this guy that he plans everything about it.

But what could be more concerning is if the legal battle will force Stake to produce the information within the casino like the database because this could be political.
2914  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-08-26] 72% of Russians say they have never bought Bitcoin: Survey on: September 07, 2022, 01:22:20 AM

They are not telling the truth.
The Russians were the first to establish a few crypto exchanges and damn sure they have heard of Vitalik, the most famous crypto developer because of ETH which if they have ETH they gonna have BTC as well. You got to know that Yobit still exists and is being used widely and has not experienced sanctions nor sued as well.  Why is that? You have got to really surmise that they knew something else is going on.
2915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [NEWS] Gambler Charged with Murder after Letting Kids Die on: September 07, 2022, 01:06:06 AM

Seeing that she can afford entertain herself in the casino, therefore her family can afford to pay baby sitter to look after the kids. Now she gonna stand trial for not hiring instead. All that falls to her not being responsible enough. As a result, she will not just lose her kids but also her freedom.

I wonder why it's called murder though.
2916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: September 06, 2022, 11:33:21 PM

It will be fun to see Jake fall down to the ground and stop looking down at the UFC fighters but he actually has the chance to also KO Silva. Silva is not very mobile because of his leg injury, seems very delicate for him to do some side steps that might crack again. When you get old, your bones get brittle and brittle. Not much difference in their reach so Jake could also throw jabs from a distance. It's all just timing.

2917  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stressful crypto market on: September 06, 2022, 01:56:40 PM

Hard to identify the bottom, you need to read charts and even those who knew still can only predict but can't really pin point. There are some who will tell us its 13k. Its up to you to wait for it to happen or miss out when price go back up to 45k already.

But I'm sure most of these stressed out retail investors would prefer to buy while the bull market is confirmed.
2918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $WAVES to hit $10 price soon? on: September 06, 2022, 01:46:47 PM
Waves and many Altcoins are certainly very dependent on the top coins, when viewed the performance of waves makes me disappointed, the price of drops is significant from $ 30 to $ 4, although this also happens in many altcoins but what happens with waves drop almost 90%, if you look at the movement in 3 Last month, I guess that the price of waves will be difficult to reach $ 10 in 2022.

Was really surprising to see how fuckup this token when it it goes that high some month and then plunge deeper again. When you feel like its token is really not worth holding due to how it behaves, just leave this token to Sasha or be frustrated for wasting a long time. Waves market is not normal.
2919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play online/offline without your wife or family knowing it? on: September 06, 2022, 01:33:41 PM

This OP speaking. I have to indicate because it seem only the first post is being read.

Majority seem to advice not to keep secrets to their wife. Its nice that you guys share same view of relationship to your wives. I'm not however that very open to her about my activities whenever its about my sports betting.

I give everything to my wife and kid thats for sure. My salary but I also take whats mine to maintain equality. When you are married and have already passed the phase where you have quarelled already whos the boss in the family, you might really set aside something for yourself. My advice is to take a wife for 10 years, you might understand why some dont want everything shared to the wife.

My solution might just be to buy a separate laptop for myself and not share anymore with her and maintain privacy between us.
2920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will get more demand on: September 06, 2022, 08:47:37 AM
I agree. how can ethereum be abandoned after what they have developed until now has been widely used by others. I think ethereum can be completely trusted. regarding the fork, maybe ethereum needs some time to adjust to the new system. but during whatever time it is certain that ethereum can pass, it's up to investors and the community whether they can believe that the adjustment will definitely be completed or even think badly.

Money attracts more people in ETH. Sure staking is going to make the stakers richer. The decentralization doesn't even matter as long as stakers get their share of profit. ETH will have its demand. But what happens when regulators are going to also demand screening transactions even blocking wallets at the protocol level?

If we complain about KYC because it negates the crypto ideology, what chance do users have in protocol regulations?  We'd be back to square one.
